Yeah, I'm wanting to move a convention's website from wordpress to hugo, but the push-back I have gotten is from non-coders wanting to update content but not wanting to set up a whole local environment, so I'm probably going to set up a two pane web editor so they can live edit markdown on the left side and see the changes in real time on the right hand side. finding out I can just use VS's editor as a module is actually very helpful.

I also recommend that if you are starting to use Vencord, you try out which plugins affect your performance and which ones don't. For example, a plugin that was like a search engine for my favorite GIFs worked horribly for me and that made the Discord page not even load.

alright so i read the known issues and didn't see anything about this specifically. I'm not asking about a specific theme, asking about the ClientTheme vencord plugin. I use it to change the background color of discord. The plugin is still working with the new UI, but it's changing the color of all text and icons now in addition to changing the background color.

Does anyone know how to fix this so the text/icons aren't also colored by the plugin?

afaik QuickCSS usually takes effect immediately when the code is entered. If it's not working then it might be an issue with the code.

I can't access any of my filed servers because it would just open a second bar (seen in the gif). I have reinstalled/fixed vencord via the vencord installer several times but this issue keeps appearing. My filed servers are only accessible when I uninstall vencord.

hello, I've been having this issue for some time now, when vencord is installed, if discord is not focused, it minimizes itself. As in, when i focus another app/window on another monitor. This only occurs with vencord installed, i tried disabling all themes and plugins, and it seems to have persisted throughout both discord and vencord updates.

I saw someone else post here about this issue here some time ago, however he didn't get an answer.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
