Discord has access to all the channel messages anyway, why would enabling the ui stuff for summaries change anything? Discord is still running this in the backend and is doing AI moderation anyway regardless of if you personally have the summaries on

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

New Vencord user. Currently running Canary ver w Vencord, minimal changes just wanted the old UI but do have a few of the included plugins running. Today suddenly Discord closed itself, reopened on a different monitor, and had a popup ad for a videogame. I notice now there is a new addition in the app settings "The Last Meadow" with links to a game trailer. it was so bizarre my first thought was it was a Vencord thing. but now I am leaning towards April Fools shenanigans form Discord themselves. Can someone confirm? (searched 'Last Meadow' and only saw one mention of it in a recent datamine post)

with the PinDM plugin, when I click on usernames/convos that are not pinned (to open that specific convo), the username list jumps unexpectedly to the wrong place, it almost seems like it's being offset by all the pinned stuff at the top

I.e. I click on an username to open a convo with that person, the username list jumps down to the point where I can't even see the name of the person I just clicked on

After further testing it turns out that I can paste any text, pictures that came from within Discord servers I'm in, I can also upload images directly from my computer, but images pasted from my browser will crash Vencord. Other applications doesn't does behave like this when doing the same.

Hi, is there any theme or CSS for the new UI that changes the color scheme back to what it was pre-revert? I'm largely fine with the new UI, but the new color scheme (specifically on "Ash", which is the closest resemblance to the old color scheme) is just a mess of grays that make it very difficult for me to distinguish anything like with the old UI.

Bonus points if there's a theme/CSS/plugin to revert the title bar that I'm unaware of, I see there's one for BD but I don't think there's any way to load that in Vencord

I seem to be having issues with streaming audio with Vencord!

I grabbed Vencord just a few days ago and tonight me and a few friends are doing a karaoke event with a Discord stage

Every time I get pulled up on stage, it breaks the stage for everyone and causes them to be unable to stream at all

And it stays broken even after I leave the stage

Technically yes, we have a very barebones app for android: VendroidHowever, it suffers from many issues and thus is not recommended for daily use (nor is it actively being worked on)

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

You can pick up such a nameplate even on an account where you can't buy it. And you can also create a similar link for nameplates that are not available for purchase (for example, Kitsune).
