Okay, so I go to open vencord, this shows up (insert ss 1), then I go to faq, type in %PROGRAMDATA% Then I get to here (insert 2nd ss) The thing in red is my pc user (I THINK?) Then I get to this, (discord file ss 3) then I have no squirrel or discord file?

but was there ever an investigation into why its physically impossible to open the custom css on vencord web?
i can enable and disable it just fine, the issue is editing it

there was a stickied thread about themes not working, but the issue im experiencing is different altogether in that the custom css itself is the issue, not the theme
the parts of the theme that were already in the css work fine, the issue is that i still cant edit the contents of the custom css, no matter if i uninstall and reinstall vencord, load a different backup, start from a clean slate, anything, as itd just continue giving me the same issue of the css just
never loading
i get permanently stuck on the loading screen regardless of how many minutes or hours i wait

Hey everyone! I looked through the FAQ and searched this channel but don't see my issue anywhere.
I'm running Vencord on linux (Pop OS with Wayland) and whenever I fullscreen the top bar is broken. If anything animates over/around the top bar, it just kinda keeps animating. It's like the OS is drawing updates or something and the top bar is supposed to be on top of those updates, but the grey for the top bar isn't being draw to the corners correctly.

In my screenshot it looks better than it does IRL. You can see the edges of where the top bar are drawn, but you the errant stuff isn't captured. Probably has something to do with the order in which the OS takes the screenshot vs whem the glitchy stuff is drawn.

to be clear, Vencord is working and this is only a visual glitch, but the stuff drawn behind the titlebar will shimmer and blink and is very distracting. I've started to just stretch Vencord out to a "fake" fullscreen to work around this.

Figured out a fix! Open up flatseal and disable access to wayland windowing system. Quit from the system tray, and relaunch and the bar renders as expected.

Disabling access to Wayland fixed my problems as well. Seems Vesktop on Wayland is cooked. It's now performing smoothly.
Not ideal, but beats having a buggy client until this is fixed.

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.

Just curious if anyone else is having this problem but when I open Vencord my Windows seems to fully bug out and I am unable to click stuff on screen its very infuriating cause I can only click half of everything on screen? Right now I am unable to click on known-issues and any of the channels in important stuffs tab, any channels under that I can see and click. Its almost as if the left top of my screen fully loses any functionality cause on the other 3 parts of my screen I'm completely able to click anything. Well considering you're using the "Administrator" user which is disabled on every official microsoft OS by default (except windows server) chances are you either enabled it manually commands (which is a stupid idea) or are using a CustomISO, which we can't provide support for because of the shady and often breaking changes they make

No. These packages are maintained by people (usually) unrelated to Vencord. We can't provide support for unofficial repackages of Vencord unless it's an actual bug in the mod itself (except when such bugs occur due to the repackage).

Not sure if already reported or not, but it seems that Vencord prevents the audio subsystem from being changed on Discord. You select an option, click "Okay" but the button doesn't do anything. You can change it however by uninstalling vencord, switching the setting in vanilla, then reinstalling vencord.
