There’s no place to see all edits/deleted messages

discord receives data about which messages (that you have probably seen) got deleted

then the plugin tries to get the message (if it was downloaded/received before) and save it somewhere in your ram

it doesn't save to your disk at all so you can't really

vencord javascript crashes instantly when trying to load it, i am using linux and desktop, i can't open devtools as the discord window doesn't even show up

any time i try to access the quick css editor, it opens a window but the window doesn't show anything or load anything at all. Normally it would pull up the current .css file vencord is applying to discord. this is not the same as my css or theme disappearing, as it still shows up when turned on, however the editor simply doesn't work as expected. if needed I can send a screenshot/screen recording of it.

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.

Discord lagging

Discord's recent changes seem to have made some CSS very laggy. This includes many themes and part of Vencord itself.

If you are experiencing lag, try disabling all your themes and your QuickCSS. If this fixes it, it means one of those is the culprit. Slowly re-enable one by one until it lags again to find what exactly causes it!

If disabling Themes & CSS doesn't fix it, please go to #1335030867759730790 and run the /vencord-plugins slash command to share your enabled plugins. This will allow us to understand which plugins cause it

No. These packages are maintained by people (usually) unrelated to Vencord. We can't provide support for unofficial repackages of Vencord unless it's an actual bug in the mod itself (except when such bugs occur due to the repackage).

Discord made changes and broke an API that these plugins used. This as been fixed for Desktop/Vesktop, but is still broken on the google extension.

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

Discord's recent changes seem to have made some CSS very laggy. This includes many themes and part of Vencord itself.

If you are experiencing lag, try disabling all your themes and your QuickCSS. If this fixes it, it means one of those is the culprit. Slowly re-enable one by one until it lags again to find what exactly causes it!

I have two identical Discord/Vencord setups on two different computers (one is a laptop and the other is my desktop)

Both have high-end NVMEs

5600X + 2070 Super, 32GB Ram
6800HS + 3050, 12GB Ram (4 for internal graphics)

Vencord runs significantly better on the laptop than on the main computer (as in, it is near unusable, even without my "heavy" theme on my desktop compared to my laptop)

This only a discord issue, browsers are both unsufferingly laggy on both computers, games run perfectly fine on the desktop and as well as you'd expect of a 3050 on a laptop...

I just don't understand, I even checked the thermal paste and temps yesterday but nothing is wrong...

I am trying to screenshare over Vesktop and noted that while screenshare works on Qutebrowser (tested with WebRTC-Experiment), it does not work via Vesktop, pressing the button will just not do anything.

What should happen

The button to screenshare should signal a freedesktop.impl.portal.ScreenCast request to the GNOME desktop portal.

I know there is these two locations:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Vencord
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Discord
Currently trying to find other locations of where Vencord stores information.
