Hi guys, i'm having some issues with the call idle plugin, sometimes it isnt working when i have discord on a different screen from the principal (i have 3 monitors). Hey I would like to know, are there other people on Linux and Vesktop who are having problems watching their friends' streams?

i got around this by installing vencord onto the official discord-canary package. vesktop screenshare has never been consistent for me for some reason, though i've experienced no issues with official discord canary (v556 is what i use and is currently latest, i mention this because updates may break things) both with/without vencord. personally im planning to switch to mainline discord + vencord once the screensharing changes make it to stable.

I'm also on Canary + Vencord but some applications don't have sounds in my shares so I always use Vesktop nearby as a backup when I need it

Canary is starting to implement sharing under Wayland so that's why I switched to it

The native client gives a smoother experience overall + the vencord, I find that it is overall the best compromise

I am able to upload images/files when using vanilla client, or when using phone/web, so the only thing I can think of is that they are related. I've turned off all plugins and still have the same issue. For anyone having the issue I was having it's a discord canary issue, not a vencord issue cuz I uninstalled it and it still crashes with that message. It does not happen with the flatpak version tho so try that for now

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.
