Whenever I try to open Vesktop, the "Loading Vesktop..." window appears as usual but disappears as soon as it finishes loading. The app minimizes to the system tray, cannot be displayed, but still shows up as an open program in the taskbar. However, if I right-click the icon in the tray, select "Exit", search for the app, and open it again, it pops up immediately. And I have to do this everytime I open Vesktop

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

When I click the maximize button, it fits Discord to the max window size for my screen. But it doesn't actually maximize it, it's still a free window.

And also clicking maximize again doesn't shrink the window back to the size I had it at, I have to manually resize again.

3. If the folder is named after your username, delete it
4. Reinstall Discord

if ur still having issues with it installing/loading up, i found one time i did have to use revo uninstaller and use the advanced option then cleaned up leftover files, then reinstalled discord but didnt autostart it, then installed vencord THEN start discord first time after install, that should clean up any lingering settings or files/discord new protection for installed clients
