Ok, So I am using vesktop from flatpak since that's the version officially supported. I run on wayland on my Arch linux I swear it's the flatpak not the AUR.

I have started experiencing lag while scrolling in message channels and even certain menus like DMs. However, scrolling is smooth on setting menus and the server sidebar on the left. I have not tried it under streaming yet and I have tried every combination of enabling and *disabling * hardware acceleration + smooth scrolling to no avail.

I am unsure of where the problem might be or what logs should I be checking? or should I simply run vesktop on the terminal to monitor it's outputs?

No, I haven't seen it on the github's issue tracker, neither open nor closed. It was always streaming issues there.

i use linux mint 22
whenever discord has an update and i download the .deb vencord dissapears (obviously) but when i try to reinstall it the app just wont open again. few seconds of main blank window, and the smaller one captioned "starting" and then it vanishes.
i removed vencord completely and tried again, with the same result
i had to reinstall discord and install vencord again, now its working
will i have to do it everytime discord updates or am i doing something wrong?

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Does anyone has issues with the 0.0.70 Discord version on Linux?
It either crashes on my side, or stuck in a boot loop... unless I start Discord from the terminal... removing Vencord does solve the issue.
