im trying to put in a plugin i found on betterdiscord (betterfolders) and the file im getting is a .js file, but on the dev site im following (https://docs.vencord.dev/installing/custom-plugins/) it says it should to be a .ts or .tsx file, can i just change the file extension or do i need to do an online conversion, or can i just use my .js file as if its a .ts file?

btw none of this is vencord's fault its all stupid apple restrictions cuz vencord does not pay apple to "sign" vencord (which enables it to be opened without doing all this shit, but is pointless as it just costs hundreds of dollars and vencord does not want to pay that much)

make sure you quit vencordinstaller before attempting the steps, and make sure you type in your mac login password when terminal asks you for your password

hello, i am experiencing an issue where vencord uninstalls itself after i reboot my laptop. i am running fedora linux and have installed discord using flatpak.

actually, i'm not exactly sure if an uninstallation is the correct word to be using here, but something is preventing vencord every time i power on my device, and i am forced to re-run the install script every time to fix it.

It's set to 100% saturation in Discord settings

Fixed it, just had to use the sRGB colour profile on my display

That is NOT what the plugin does

ur not there arent really directions in the desc so. but the plugin works in the form of slash commands. so you do /tags-create, fill in the name for the tag (this is what you'll type to invoke the tag later on), and put what you want the tag to write for you in the message box. keep in mind that if you want the tag to spit out a return/enter for you, in the message box you have to put a \n in front of the line you want to be entered/returned. once u make the tag just do /<type what u named the tag here> and the plugin will send the message from ur discord account

Vesktop is vencord’s custom discord client, it’s faster than official discord with vencord in it. Another benefit is that you don't have to reinstall vencord when your discord updates. But it does have a couple of disadvantages like no custom keybinds, as it’s based on the web version of discord (which does not support custom keybinds). To get vesktop just go to https://github.com/vencord/vesktop#installing and follow the instructions pertaining to ur OS.

3. Drag VencordInstaller.app into your terminal
4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

sudo /Users/YourUsername/Downloads/VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!
8. If you still get the same error, give your terminal app Full Disk Access and try again

discord settings -> cloud -> enable it and authorize -> turn on settings sync -> sync to cloud -> wait for noti saying successfully synced. on pc discord settings -> cloud -> enable it and authorize -> turn on settings sync -> sync from cloud -> wait fro noti saying successfully imported cloud settings and click the noti to apply the changes. your discord will reload and u should have all ur vencord stuff that was on browser
