Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

it is updated, vesktop is always up to date

Turns out I was using my package manager's vesktop version and just never updatyed that vesktop like a buffoon . I legit gaslit myself into thinking I had the flatpak on this one. Thanks for helpn me figure that blunder out

New vencord modview UI broke the 'Mutual Groups' option, it also gets stuck on the mod view. If you press 'Go to main profile' nothing happens, it sends you to the same place. And it lets u see mod view even in dms

heyo. i need help on the web app "Vesktop" which is made by the same uhh dev
so i presume i use this channel to ask for help

my issue : the app doesn't follow DNS rules (on windows, using Acrylic DNS Proxy) and uses some (presumably Google's Public DNS) to load discord and its subsequent domains and ip's
to the point that i have narrowed it down (im not a dev, so take anything i say as speculation by some idiot) i can't change the DNS of the app unless i tamper with the source code and compile it myself

TL;DR : my issue with Vesktop (made by same dev as vencord) about the app using a different DNS than i want to, how to fix/change to my liking ?
