please help! when using the latest build of vesktop with venmic 3.4.1, and the new screenshare overhaul for linux, the resolution wont go above 180p or rather bounces around those small resolutions instead of doing 720p 30fps, the bitrate is also super low that my friend cant see much lol, i have a amd card(rx 6700) and it is using vaapi encoding with around 3% encoding being done, im on arch aswell. if this is discords doing then ill just have to keep waiting for discord to do something about it

hey, I have some general discussion about vesktop, specifically that using --enable-features with vesktop does not usually work. From what anecdoctal evidence I have only the last --enable-features flags will be used by chromium itself. Since vesktop always appends its own flags, it will always override whatever that is passed via CLI.

For context, I am doing this to fix VAAPI on AMD GPUs on linux (it requires some flags and mesa-git to work anyway), but I tried removing the relevant part https://github.com/Vencord/Vesktop/blob/8eaa5206b98ce7029b6879cc2ce361c2ae5f6239/src/main/index.ts#L33 and it does work. I am not sure if I should put this in the issue tracker or discuss this somewhere.

seems like discord streams with the new changes are still locked to a 5th of the bitrate on linux.

friend said it was locked at around ~1mb/s with heavy compression when I streamed 1080p 60fps. my encoder on the gpu was only using like ~3%.
