Ok yes but what triggers it to log? Is it being inside the channel having discord open? Or having a server open? What generally lets you see messages inside a channel.
Let’s give a small example: I was talking with my friend and I have a logger on (incase he says something important). When we are chatting I switch channels to check announcements and while I’m checking announcements he sends the important messsge and deletes it will it log?
Now think of the same example but I don’t switch to announcements I switch to a different server entirely.

cpu has nothing to do with ram. how many servers are you in? if you are in a looot of servers, 1gb ram usage is pretty normal even on stock discord

i am in 140 servers and for me even stock discord uses 1gb after changing channels around a bunch. the only solution is to leave as many servers as possible, or use an alt with less servers

openasar mainly improves startup speed and sets a few electron launch flags

it doesn't magically fix performance. there's only so much you can do without recreating it from scratch (like https://github.com/Vencord/Vesktop, but even that still uses discord's web client so it still suffers from a lot of the same issue discord desktop has, such as high memory usage)

if you want lower ram usage, you need to use a custom client written from scratch, such as https://github.com/diamondburned/dissent

highly recommend dissent but it lacks a lot of features. if you're fine with a very basic discord experience, it's amazing, but if you care about any of the fancier features (including voice chat) it's not for you

If you ran the command it tells you and it still doesn't work, try running the Vencord Installer as administrator.
