As much as I love vesktop, and the fact it now has audio in screenshares on linux, having an accidental press of ctrl+w close the client completely is an absolute deal breaker. Can that be turned off or is it a limitation of the way vesktop runs?

I've been having issues with the quality of my screensharing & screenshare audio glitching really badly to the point where it becomes unwatchable/unlistenable to whoever is viewing it. The last time my instance of Discord/Vencord crashed because of it, it showed this code.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

When playing Minecraft, I can use the mouse in Vesktop when running almost all of my instances (I use prism launcher). However, when playing Nomifactory CEu, after Minecraft loads Vesktop stops responding to mouse input. I have had this issue since I began playing Nomi CEU many weeks ago. Vesktop still responds to keyboard navigation though. If it helps, I am using hyprland on cachyos

and I have tried running many other programs and none have any issues with vesktop, it is just Nomifactory CEu for some reason

while running nomifactory CEu, vlc (just like vesktop) does not accept mouse input either but still accepts keyboard input

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask, I just downloaded the Vencord package provided on github because the flatpak version started crashing with a weird error(and plan to keep it because the performance is at least 10x better) but there is a slight issue.
Whenever I try to screenshare, I get the portal popup and when I select the screen/window/region, it just closes and nothing happens.
I can't get the same popup again and I have to restart vesktop in order for it to appear.
Just to be clear, it doesn't work, I can't screenshare no matter how many times I restart the client.

Unzip it, and run VencordInstaller.app

If you get a VencordInstaller can't be opened warning, right-click VencordInstaller.app and click open.
This warning shows because the app isn't signed since I'm not willing to pay 100 bucks a year for an Apple Developer license.

Yes actually! We have an Android app embedding the Discord website

However, as Discord's mobile website has some issues (performance, usability, etc), chances are you won't like it.In that case you will instead want to use one of the following mods focused on Mobile.
