by “off” i meant: no override. That lets dc decide whether to enable the experiment for you. Evidently profile effects are still in an experimental stage, which makes sense

when they roll out new features, they tend to keep holdout groups (Control) to measure impact or whatever. Was quite frustrating for people whose servers didn’t have forums yet at the time, for many many months

Heya, I'm having some trouble with patching, regexes and finding the thing they match. (First time writing a plugin for vencord, I'm using this guide here https://github.com/Vendicated/Vencord/blob/main/docs/2_PLUGINS.md)
I wanted to add another button in the message bar. So I used the Dev Tools to grab the module, assigned the contents to a variable in the console and then used a regex from the silentTyping plugin that's also used to add a button in the place I want to. However, it doesn't return any matches, same with the regex101 site. It seems to be working fine for the plugin though. Any idea on what's happening there?

vencord doesn’t have dedicated notifications and uses discord default notifications to the best of my knowledge

When joining voice channels, I get "RTC Connecting"

Cause is unknown, so there is no real fix.

However, a simple workaround that fixes it temporarily is to click the text that says RTC Connecting, then click Debug. Close the page that opens again and it should now be fixed!

Note that you need Discord Developer Mode (Discord Settings > Advanced > Developer Mode) enabled to do this!

yes web supports it but vesktop reimplements it with more features in general by letting you pick resolution and frame rate, entire screen/more windows, and whether you want to stream with audio or not
