Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

aight, i've read the faq and announcements, apparently i'm the only one who has this problem which makes this even more frustrating, from time to time, when either playing smth or doing anything, really, discord just kinda stops working and when i open it from the taskbar, it sort of "reloads", until it does this, i cant speak nor hear anything from voice or get a sound when receiving a message, i have reinstalled it multiple times, gone through plugins to find a faulty one or incompability but it doesn't matter, i tried using betterdiscord before vencord but had the exact same problem there, tried turning off background stuff like process lasso which i thought might be the problem but wasnt, im outta ideas
