2. the icon is shown on the AR website on the bottom-left
3. the icon is visible as representing a loot type on the buried city map in the gameplay reveal (at 1:38)

i think number 3 in particular is very odd given that this isn't a very complex asset to begin with and I think embark usually shows greater attention to detail than that

i'm basically convinced that the universe is the same as the finals even if they're not happening at the same point in time
