I'm not sure how this would work into the narritive, CNS is a "hacker collective" wether that be the truth or a lie. There are pretty much two routes that I have seen: CNS is a group of coders fired from MultiCo which is why they can leak some internal documents, know what the sponsors are doing, and can get into The Finals through the "back door". The other option I can think of is that CNS was the old AI of the finals, which went rogue when MultiCo wanted to replace it. In the second instance Central Nervous System might make some sense, but in the first it really wouldn't. It is most likely that CNS is a hacker collective just like they say, the AI theory is more of one I came up with on my own. All of this can basically be boiled down to: CNS is a hacker collective and I don't see why they would call themselves a "Central Nervous System".

So if I'm not mistaken, VEIN is not the one doing it (as it is just the network for virtual entities) and it is instead some other virtual entity (maybe a digitized conscience or simply another AI?) making these changes.
It's interesting to think about, last time they probably highjacked the system reboot that was scheduled in response to CNS's attack, but this time they're actively taking over a whole update that was planned by Multico and adding a bunch of unplanned stuff. If they can't be stopped, there's a very real chance that this will continue into next season (I'm still pretty confident that S11 and S12 will also be The Hand versus Multico and/or CNS) when they just take over another random update or a change made by CNS to include more fantastical elements.

I've never really looked into the lore behind the cosmetics before (having mostly focused on the viniettes and trailers and such) but now I'm actually really interested in looking into it! Now I had a question about a small detail you mentioned in the video, You were talking about the three frogs poem, and briefly mentioned who the frogs themsleves might be (you seemed to imply that they were victems of the companies). I was wondering what you thought about the alternate theory that the frogs represented the CEOs of the companies, Damien, Sofia, and Sal. Damien being the frog surrounded by bodies, Sofia being the one who hungers even though she eats, and Sal being the one who was not making choices for herself. There was a big debate around wether it was CEOs or Victems, and I don't think the community ever came to a conclusion. Just a little thought I had while watching! (also it was cool seeing myself in a video lol)

How dystopian is the finals universe? What I have gathered so far is

The earth is ecologically degraded but not completely dead (there is mention of forests and camping in one of the YT shorts)

Osp Uze is literally just crack with extra steps.

People don't really touch grass and prefer VR

Supposedly civilians can own literal muniguns as Alfa Acta advertises one, making me think crime is a big issue in cities/suburbs.

There is a landfill in the ocean that Trentila uses to grow genetically modified plants making me think traditional farmland is heavily reduced or soil quality is insufficient in most places

Vaiiya makes brain chips that supposedly can modify behavior independent of their user.

Just realized the "Hornament of Triumph" charm fits the new ARN skin a little TOO well.
I's a bony horn/claw with the exact same engraved design in the metal bits at the top, and the description says that it's "unclear what beast this came from". It also puts emphasis on the fact that "you won", just like the scaleborn set.
I think this event was planned from as far back as Season 8

I'm going to take a wild guess as to why I think Sal is actually the AI behind Arc from Arc Raiders.

1. The timeline states that there is an 80 year gap between the beginning of the Finals and the beginning of Arc Raiders. Within these 80 years, could Sal have deteriorated beyond its initial ways of instilling 'unity'?

2. Almost all the ARCs from Arc Raiders share a distinctive red light, similar to that with Sal, especially when these ARCs spot a player; could it be that Sal sees them as a 'threat' and wants them to be 'unified' underneath its 'new' form of VAIIYA?

3. Maybe I'm just rambling like a crazy person.

Edit: I know there is a lot more stuff connecting both games together, but I was just thinking about something.

The yellow logo is on cosmetics who would've been released during ~2100 in the lore. I wouldn't put my "old" logo on cosmetics unless the cosmetic is supposed to be nostalgic.
