Humanity fucked up big time building a Dyson sphere because they thought being a Type II civilisation would be cool. The sponsors of The Finals had been working together ahead of this project in order to create a virtual reality game to let people upload their consciousness to the cloud to escape their bodies and live forever. In the panic of everything happening with the Dyson Sphere project these sponsors drew people in with the HOLTOW Sun Insurance campaign saying that if SHTF you could just upload yourself to the internet. CNS is a hacking organisation attempting to reveal the truth to the brainwashed contestants. The arenas in The Finals are set in different places across the world, all from different years, just so that the history of humanity is preserved in the way the creators wanted us to see it. CNS hacked the game and brought us to a university campus with libraries and museums filled with artefacts and paintings from the past.
The message from CNS further backs up the idea that everyone in the game show is trapped and they are trying to show us the truth. [No image perms but the text says “I seek the truth behind the walls”]

Like real ones, bc holow (virtual insurance company) doesnt affect the sales of Ozpuze (drinks)?we even know that thoses sponsors meet and work toogether in the finals, so what happend to thoses other non exitent brands? Are all of these sponsors a creation of multico like branches of it? Multico outpassed every other companies so they all failed? Maybe, but i wished there was a really lore implicated competition agaisnt sponsors, with whose favorite drink or what social media to pick? Maybe drip brands are the only one in competition? Theory

I find it really interesting we get Holtow's sun insurance revealed after Dissun is introduced this season, when Dissun is very likely solar based power (and maybe even using a Dyson sphere or Dyson cluster)

Dissun could have noticed that the sun is giving less power than it used to, which could be a sign of it dying. Holtow could've learned it from them, and they could be partnered using it to sell "sun insurance."
It's possible that there isn't actually an issue in the near future, but Holtow could be using Dissun's name to create fear within people. It could still be a partnership, but Dissun, a trusted company using the sun as power (maybe, but seemingly likely) is lying so that Holtow can sell more sun insurance and then Dissun and Holtow both profit.

Indeed, but when Vaiya got out, I triggered me bc Ivada was one old sponsor,( they made the urban operative set), and released the city lancer set, its the only time when we see a sponsor promoting an outfit from another brand (OMG when I looked out for writing the message I saw that DXZ was on that outfit too, so maybe that DXZ is a branch of Ivada), oddly, that outfit was part of the series of sets where you have the iconic face/helmet when orange dot leds and a weapon skin with arrows going back and fourth, including also metro drifter and the set in the end of the bp of S4. And the only full set that Vaiya released is the arena guard set. SO my theory is that or vaiya isn't big enough, a fresh company that emerge in s2 when the finals was in crisis, and so they have to rely on other brands to make outfis

I don't know how much worse they are compared to how companies scrap user data irl, but I think of Engimo like an ISP but expanded to phone service, wifi in public spaces, etc. that may be what they are but that's really just a guess. The name dissun has nothing to do with cars, it being inspired by dyson spheres / swarms, which are a theoretical method of obtaining as much energy from a star as possible

So one of the lines during the low gravity event states "Contestants will not experience any muscle atrophy or skeletal deterioration during this event"

What if that has actually happened during the early years of the finals?

My headcanon is that Holtow was formed to offer insurance incase anything somehow went wrong in the arena, but since the show rarely has errors, they moved into offering bogus insurance for things that would never happen (eg. the sun turning off), people ignored the claims of the sun turning off, but Holtow argued that if things like skeletal deterioration and muscle atrophy can happen in the virtual space, whats stopping something equally outlandish as the sun turning off from happening?

I noticed that when you sign up for Iseult you get the pants, coat, mask, but no shoes. I think the shoes is what completed the “set” clothes and the only hint we have at it is the hologram in fortune stadium and the charm in the sponsorship rewards
