Hey, THE FINALS has never launched on my new PC build. I have 130+ hours on my old system. Been dealing with this for days.

Error Codes:

Already tried:

Findings: xactengine2_0.dll missing from System32, dxdiagn.dll fails to register. Event Viewer shows Discovery.exe crashing with unknown module (timestamp 0x00000000).

Support ticket open for days with no response. Any help appreciated!

I guess I'll try disabling steam overlay to see if it still happens. but just like you describe the fps drops to the 20's and the overlay stops responding (the fps counter i have enabled through steam overlay also disappears) and performance won't go back to normal until the game is restarted.

Hi, I remembered a bug from the beginning of the season where there could be up to 6 people in the team and I would like to see such a mode in one of the next events in the seasons. Does this idea have a chance to get into the game?

Not sure if anybody else has the bug for the healbeam on controller, with any of the weapons that have a low ammo capacity when you heal with your healbeam and put it away. It will fire the weapon, even if your hand is off the trigger.

Do you use frame gen? I was doing some testing in the practice range last time i got the bug to see if I can see if one of the settings was causing it and turning off frame gen seemed to reduce the input lag quite a bit but my fps was still pretty low

The problem is that there's no way to fix it. Rejoin the match doesn't change the situation. You're still under the church, either on Seoul in the center of the map, or on Las Vegas.

I’m experiencing constant lag and performance issues while playing THE FINALS. The game frequently stutters and becomes difficult to play even after trying multiple fixes.

I have already tried:

• Updating GPU drivers
• Lowering graphics settings
• Verifying game files
• Restarting my PC and router
• Closing background applications
• Reinstalling the game

Unfortunately, the issue still continues.

what do we do about when we cant connect to the next round and finally able to connect and getting leaver penalty after finishing the game. from my understanding the whole lobby had the failed to connect issue other than 1 team which had doubled box when everyone else loaded in. I lost 800rs in a 3rd seed game we made it to 3rd place in 2nd round
