So today I was rewatching the moment I first really started getting invested in embark, which was during a LIRIK stream covering gamescom 2022 (because gamescom is coming up soon) funny enough, and he did a juicy breakdown of Embark's recent announcements (in front of like 20K people, so i know i can't be the only one this happened to), and really gave them a bunch of free early marketing and made them look really good and promising.

You get the same pattern, making circles around 0,0 on the map with any arbitrary set of coordinates

Current leading theory is that we use the coordinates on the moon, since they all fall close to craters named after scientsits who all can be interpreted to have contributed to the "mapping" of a subject

Loose connection to a hint from back when specific conditions still mattered for the (main) monkeys, telling us to look at reflections, most likely referring to rainy, later turned to looking behind us. There's also a recent hint for the dolphin charm "written in the opposite", probably more mirror/reflection based things that I can't recall from the top of my head

A lot of hunters are EU based and we unlocked level 3 fairly late, it was one of the easier potential leads to check out while trying to figure out the coordinates

But the Season 3 lore "downtime" was really long, where we had about 3 months of basically zero storyline/lore updates! I'd love to know what Scotty meant when he said "This isn't the 21st century version (of Kyoto)" at the start of the season, and I was expecting something like that to be referenced in in-game voicelines or official vids! So please do consider that for 1-2 videos in Season 4 and beyond!

Yeah, I think we have one of those coming up soon, but we probably don't want to overuse it. Five seconds of footage after a cool thing happening is usually all we need. The main other reasons clips don't make it (aside from just not being stellar moments), are people not submitting the link to view the clips (or more often password-protecting it), and things like them looking at the scoreboard like 20 times through the clip (haha, I exaggerate a little). Otherwise, we're getting some amazing clips to choose from.

yes, that is the correct angle of the camera. And during that cinematic there was a bunch of balloons, and my eyes caught what appeared to be a namatama about 2-4 tiles from the door to the left of the zipline and then proceeded to enter into the door by sliding without any animations. It may have started by the water and then went to the door but i only spotted it 2-4 tiles from the door. I have activated the 3 dolphins in the past and I also see WWELCOW 100% of the time but that only started during bunny bash event so no idea if that could have tied into things. I haven't had sys again yet to see if I see it again.

Alright so I came to think of this today when I was listening to season 1 ost (you wouldn’t be here) without us, the title got me thinking if the game is people playing The Finals in VR (obviously) but against their will because in the season 2 cut scenes we got the information from CNS that they lie to us and some super ai that controls the show is in the puppet master and basically CNS wants to fight against the machine getting the contestants to realize that they are being held against their will. The reason I think we the contestants are prisoners is because in the Sys horizon Easter egg there’s the dolphins outside the map boundaries symbolizing the fact that the contestants cannot reach freedom and must watch the dolphins swim freely and another reason is the monkeys which I think symbolizes the see no evil hear no evil speak no evil thing which hints at the contestants being blissfully ignorant to what’s actually happening. I also believe that these people in vr live inside the world of upcoming game of Arc raiders because in the trailer the world is gone and taken over by robots and may have enslaved some of humanity and thus the song name (you wouldn’t be here) without us because of said captivity and brainwashing of sorts

I'm not sure if this has been found and it might also be a bug, but at some points, the lines inside the Yellow house are getting smaller/ or becoming less bright. When you punch the brighter lines, it looks like an upper layer breaks and it turns back to normal.

I'm in the middle of putting together some lore-related stuff for the big miro board and it became apparent that Dissun sounds like Dyson. This was mentioned previously by @velvet narwhal in #📕┇lore message. I think this is a valid connection and it probably relates back towards their relation to solar power. It's a great that the brand can be connected back to solar power (energy) without anything in-game.

Here's a quick breakdown:

In Kyoto, you can find hearts around the map, plus writings that include CNS phrases. Kyoto was made with love from CNS, literally.
