Hello egg-tectives, welcome to the hunt for Easter eggs in THE FINALS! This will be a brief guide on hunting and how to participate.

There are two main components:

• THE FINALS Easter Egg Hunt (TFEE), aka the main hunt or "Big Whoop", a long form series of puzzles that began in 2022 and that spans multiple levels and tiers. Clues are hidden in images, messages, in-game, and more.
• Other Easter eggs that don't relate to the main hunt specifically.

How can you participate?

We are always looking for more egg-tectives, as the more eyes we have the more we can potentially find! #easter-eggs is the main channel for conversation! So feel free to join in and chat.

We are currently on Level 3 of the main hunt, which you can view at: https://www.reachthefinals.com/tfee-level3 (use password sliescetaceaasconce to access).

Parts of the hunt have dedicated discussion threads to help keep things organized. You need to be contestant or above to join threads, so just interact a bit on the server to level up. 😉

Rules and hunting etiquette

1. Trying to brute force or break your way into password-protected webpages is not allowed as it can completely ruin the hunt for everyone involved.
2. Using AI models or services such as ChatGPT to decode content or figure out connections, passwords, etc, is not allowed as it can similarly spoil the hunt.
3. The hunt is not about trying to bypass website or game security. All clues and Easter eggs are accessible by normal means. Do not share datamined content or try to exploit the game or Embark Studios' websites in any way.
4. The hunt does not require the use of glitches, exploits, or out-of-bounds exploration. In-game Easter eggs may be difficult to find, but they do not require breaking the game.
5. Hunt-related webpages can be found via clues. Do not try to discover hidden webpages / URLs on Embark Studios' websites by exploitative or unintended means.
6. The metadata of images does not contain intentional clues, and so does not need to be accessed; Photoshop file history, layer names, etc.
   If you're unsure about whether you might be close to breaking a rule, just ask!
