I used to love speedrunning dungeons to earn gold, but it's not really viable anymore.

Multiple WvW (server versus server big battles, capturing castles and stuff) changes that made roaming in 1-3 player squads pointless

Those are the main two, there's some others and they also nerfed my favorite spec to the ground, which was the nail in the coffin.

If I die in Fortnite and Apex it's a skill issue and it'll make me very mad as someone who wants to be good at FPS and finds the genre fun. Plus, I feel like since those games are intentionally the opposite of realistic, permadeath shouldn't be a thing except if the story wants a character completely killed off to no longer be used again in the lore.

The problem is, Apex is not only the premier BR (until recently according to Steam player numbers and from what I've heard, how only the FF7 collab made that game feel fresh), but the premier FPS too. No one has major complaints about the games except cosmetics and Electronic Arts.
PUBG is now only doing so well since its F2P era, but I don't feel as many people (at least in the west) are hyped for it, and people seem to take issue to the studio too.

HotS is the MOBA for people not really into MOBAs, the laning phase is extremely short compared to others and objective events are frequent enough to force players into fights and keep things interesting. So I was playing Planetside 2 and over half my kills were headshot kills (60.98%). I only used machine guns

And I'm a soloist but I joined an outfit (in-game clan) for free intel to die less and because they're a friendly bunch. Wallhacks aren't really a thing and its closest equivalent is underpowered compared to recon or even motion sensors/sonar grenades in The Finals.

if you really want off-roading, WRC. FH5 I think is more fun for those who want to drive around road cars and who value character customization

Ye basically it's a survival game with zero survival aspects tho imo it's more of an action RPG than a survival game.

The base building mechanics are way more complete than in palworld which is why I'm loving it a lot right now. I can spend hours and hours just building stuff in games. Reason why I enjoyed starfield a lot was because the starship building was amazing
