TL:DR
2 'Pro' players, defined as people that compete at the highest level, were apart of orgs and went to the major last year.
1 pro player made a comment on a voice call to a female "J", he was in a relationship. She didnt like the comment, the broke up, he and all his friends (other pro players) banned and blocked her. She got mad and made him out to be harasser.
Other pro, cheated on his girlfriend, "H", told another girl, "Z", and "Z" then also released a bunch of stuff against the wishes of "H" she wanted to keep things private.
J and Z pushes for the pro players to be banned from PHL (Pro Hub Leagues, biggest independent hub for the finals esports), which was an RFI event (allowed points towards the grand major).
PHL banned the pro players, and embark said that if they banned them because of what currently was shared theyd lose RFI status (merit on their event to count towards the grand major)
So all of PHL staff kept the ban, Embark removed their status, then all of PHL quit, and 2 Other large orgs in the competitive scene (Breakout and Ape Squad) both stated they're pulling out from the scene as well.
So then Embark made the post about pausing the scene.
