They won't take it off, it's not planned. And what do you mean "some notice"? You want to know how it work? The map is made a Module, they're fixed and built by the dev team. The modules are placed randomly, even boss module, portal module etc

Apart from the fact i still think it's a bad idea, at least it seem they're doing it how it should be done. By that I meant that it look like they really see it as a training ground and a testing mode for new Pve feature to add to the Dungeon and nothing more, that's good. It's close of how I suggested it should be (#game-discussion message) Not perfect and will need improvement, but hopefully if they listen to the good feedback it won't be all negative. About boss room, I think what I suggested is the good way. If you start the bosss fight/summon it then the door close and can't be open from outside, you can still open door from inside to run away but people can't interrupt or join your fight. For PvE mode only

Well, it's a PvE mode so no Pvp at all. That's the point, it's there so you can learn mob, boss and game mechanic without the stress/pressure of PvP (which is a bad idea because people will then instanly drop the game when they join the real game and get stomp in PvP)

If the point of the Adventure mode is really to learn PvE and especially boss then If other player can join the fight it's pointless. Because you can't fight each other so it'll just be several team fighting the same boss, and if you're the team engaging it first or summoning it and the other team last hit the boss and can loot it first it's bad. And you didn't really learn how to do it as you got helped a lot by the other team + for some boss like Troll, Lich with the purple curse (or worse with the blue curse you could grief other player) it'll prevent you to do it

I'd say the beginning steps to elemental weaknesses on mobs is a vastly positive gameplay improvement, we got sorcerer and new sorcerer spell merges & perks, balance changes are healthy and makes sure that one overpowered method doesn't reign too highly over other strategies, and I may be wrong but I don't think the water map was a promise for this wipe but instead a hope. In order to make the water map actually good they need to make sure that the monsters can swim, and to do that without adding an astronomical amount more 'technical debt' they need to clean up and revise this means putting even more time and resources towards recoding all the mob AI

Fog of war and randomized modules within maps makes the dungeon-crawling experience greater; if your sole goal is to run from point A to point B repeatedly you're playing the game in a very dull manner. Experiencing the dungeon and acquiring loot along the way is how the game offers itself, and that's how they continue to develop it
The idea of "wanting to gather everyone in 225+ gear score lobbies" is so the absolute highest tier of player in terms of gear and willingness to battle can have that experience, because a lot of the outcries in High Roller lobbies come from people 'ratting for AP' and become less willing to fight and instead opt to run. This reason and more, it's fine that IronMace wants to experiment with these changes. I'm keen to see how it goes, because of everything they detailed in the Tavern Table livestream I'm actually incredibly keen to play this fresh new wipe 👍

The part of the new wipe I think is a minor change that is also really good for a player like me is the idea to make the first High Roller gear score bracket extend from 0-224, because I would hate putting on random pieces of armour and weapons just to be able to play this hardcore experience, and because of this I'd opt to play in 0-24 normal dungeons because it's less hassle and an incredibly even playing field when it comes to PvP

im a caster i have slow ms and get slowed even more when holding a book and then also again while casting it was the only way to kite and cast effectively with ice bolt ice mastery now my only option is to be a mm turrent and hope i win the dps trade that or go the melee bonk route theres no skill expression skill or spell for wiz

I might have misunderstood but in PvE it will be random bosses (like it is currently), but for the normal/HR mode you will need to use items to summon the boss

Sorc isn't even stronger than wizard tbh. Spammable spells are way stronger. They should actually give wiz cooldowns instead of spell uses - it feels better and it's easier to balance. It's a win-win.
