Figther and bard shouldn't have more than the hand crossbow (or need a perk to have more). Maybe reduce spell projectiles speed, or range of the hit scan spell

In arena there is less room for outplay in the sense that short range characters cant choose a different area to fight in, while in the normal/hr gamemode you could run to a different room and get better positioning.

In arena, three mages spawn on one side and all fireblast the only path forward, its pretty tough to overcome without range on your own team

Previous weeks I used to swap back and forth between the dungeon and arena. The new arena ranking system really hyped me and got me execited to play arena. I played all weekend. Now that I am back in the dungeon, the feel-bad moments of dying to 3rd parties and what not is quite unfortunate. Arena doesn't have the high peaks that the dungeon has (killed 2 or 3 teams and exit with BIS loot), but the lows (e.g. ,loosing to a 3rd party ) in the dungeons don't seem to exist in arena. Arena is a nice consistent feels good PVP experience. As the end of season nears, with more money than I know what to do with, dungeons feel stale and Arena being removed really emphasized this. I'm excited for next wipe to grind quests for craftable items and grind the dungeon for self-found items to build a fresh arena kit.

not reaaaaaaaaaally. Depends on which class you're going. If its fighter barb, Vigor and Agi, you'll have plenty of PDR with greens. if Ranger or Rogue, Truephys greens and 1 green boots with +4/5 movespeed, if you're wiz or warlock movespeed with magic power, will or knowledge

I'll give that a try but honestly I'm just feeling limited in terms of just building what I feel comfortable with gear wise while the weapons in your kit cost a million gear score it seems which is crazy. Only classes like barb and rangers seem to be able to benefit from one weapon being almost "full build"

yea i played when the game first launched and there were no gs brackets. Not a fan. Overall except for a few egregious classes, such as barb. Most classes are on an overall equal footing. You still have to build ms/survivability in every bracket and you had to do that when there were no brackets. Like i said earlier, bracket system would be in a good place if they adjusted gs values on a per basis of items rather than a 1 size fits all based on rarity and equipment type. Barbarian is considerably op in low gs brackets because of his base stats and a general lack of need for gear in the first place outside of their weapons. I wouldnt call that an issue with the gs bracket system but an issue with the class.

Essentially I'm running a Panther build and I'll engage boss and bounce out before he does his first attack. Then I wait for the slam to happen then jump in and start going ham! Idk why people complain about the price its like 30 bucks. Thats cheap for a decent game you can sink easily over 200 hours in without knowing. Easily worth it if you like the free version but the skill curve is the problem more than the price. Playing ftp learning the game getting diffed on by meta teams boss farming cant be fun. I also dont really understand the implementation of a ranked system where you still get placed with every rank. It should filter in hr for people in your rank and if it cant find people it looks for a rank above and below or in demigods case 2 below and so on from there. Pvp doesnt need gear score balance it needs open play with similar skilled players. It would force you to improve as you play. I get the player count may not tolerate that but normals and hr needs to be more fair for tim tims. New players leaving is a big issue in this game. I know they're adding a tutorial but that's probably not gonna be enough. Also combat needs to be more diverse than who has better gear and more move speed. It would be nice to have more weapons and active skills for all classes that are different but viable for a change. As a fighter main, pdr should be capped at 50%. But all in all what the game lacks most is content right now. It doesnt need to be maps and bosses necessarily but new things to do. Ranked arenas helped big time, but the pve guys need love now. I honestly hate the modular map system, but implementing random shuffles could help. The only good ideas that came from dungeonborne in my opinion are the map designs, the utility item variety and the parry/ blocking mechanics for every class. When wands drop I expect one to be a shield projector for wizboys and wardogs.
