Give kris back too warlock
Could be cool if there was added a rare drop or crafting through the already added hunting loot, from monsters to make slot-able buffs to put into your character through the Training tab. Sort of similar to how cosmetic skins work, where for example: A "Token of Honor" dropped from skeleton champion, can be made into this item, that you slot into your character to get +5 armor and -5 mag.resist. Have like 2-4 slots available through levelling to 15 or 20, but make it a choice you would have to be sure put in, since it would either be permanent or gold expensive to remove again.
All this number crunching with gear makes me annoyed.
Swapping gear needs to take like 5x longer and immobalize youd. Add some permanence ro your decisions. Swapping full outfits in combat is a meme.
Jumpcasting is also lame as hell and is not class fantasy at all. If casters need jump casting to be viable, then casting is fundenentally broken. And it looks super fkn lame seeing a wizard hop around like a pro athlete
There are many fundementals that could EASILY be fixed instead of tweaking gear stats

Desperately need a custom room for pvp with my friends
That could actually be cool. I'd love to see something lile that introduced as a special module in whatever map like a Forge where you need to go and give your token of honor to a NPC that craft it into this "Trinket" item. And they could either make it do lots of noise so other player know you'r here and try to attack you or make wave of monster attack thr forge and you need to defend it. Man I HATE druids but a spider form where you could run around and make web trabs would be sick as hell
ALSO warlocks should have a nightvision spell that gives them glowing red eyes that make them super easy to see in the dark
I believe there should be a non pvp option like in gta where you can turn off player damage and have to request a pvp match. Both people or party's would have to hit each other to maybe start a 5 sec cooldown untill you can attack each other
Maybe for very very new player fore like your first few hours but I don't think it should be a things that everyone can choose to use. Pvp is part of this game, there is progress to make to either make fight more fair between new/experienced player or gear/ungeared player or improve how matchmaking work but I don't think an option to simply remove PvP is a good idea
Yes PvP is part of the game but when you just want to play the other 95% of the game and just loot and kill mobs, try and take on bosses without being 3rd partied being able to turn off PvP for a few games would be nice. its not like im saying remove PvP completely but there needs to be a way just for PvE, I believe that it could bring more people to the game who just want to play a good dungeon crawler game.
That’s the thing it’s not just a pve game so there shouldn’t be a game mode with only pve. It’s a PvPve game. Also “95%” of the game is not pve lmao. Btw there’s other dungeon crawlers with no pvp aspect, a game can’t appeal to every single audience while still being a good game it’s not possible
I would make demon form instant and phantomize the time that demon forms now takes to transform.

For druid the perk works for 5 transformations. I'm not against it for demon form but because it is only for one form maybe it should do something else too. Maybe reduce the self damage, at least for some time. Right now demon form feels so weak.
This idea was on the discussion forum that they made but I would love for warlock to have a pact weapon that would get a instant equip time and some extra action speed and it would have a custom equip animation and a cool item particle effect kinda like shadow touch but with more of a noticable effect like a unique sort of but I really like this idea because of the fact that with kris dagger being removed from warlocks weapon choice there is 1 one handed weapon and then everything else is a heavy 2 hander like bardiche, halberd, zweihander, and quarterstaff I bet most people don't even know that warlock could equip quarterstaff but they can but the one thing in common is that they all have a long equip time and so on hybrid warlock especially it is very hard to balance grabbing your book and grabbing your melee weapon and this perk/skill Idk which one it would fit better as because boc is a core part of hybridlock but if the weapon has a instant equip time than that would make the build a lot more fun and strong and tbh warlock needs more builds that work as well as tm (old tm that was at least partially balanced not the current one oh god no) but if more melee warlock builds were centered around being a hybrid caster and its really fun build its just not that good because warlock doesn't have a incentive to go to melee other than to get a quick boc hit or just to slow them down. cause warlock is not tanky enough to go into melee against a fighter most of the time and they don't have enough dps to go in against a barb unless they have falchion/crystal ball.

Hi guys, after 1k hours i think i have some solutions that could really help our game. Please consider them.
- "Starting Points". Change gear score entry requirement to a range. Tiimmy lobby could require 0-56 (or so) to enter. HR entry could be between 200-300, with elite HR being 500-650 or whatever. Then remove 124 lobby. The game then becomes more about looting as you go and collecting the best rolls you can so that you create the perfect "Starter kit".
- "1 Map Solution" Change future map design so that it is a single 3 layer dungeon, but each floor is random from a selection of different maps. Think Deathtrap Dungeon from dungeons and dragons.
- Remove random time wasting behavior from mobs (Goblins/centipede running away). It just isn't fun.
In the "My Listing" section of the Marketplace, where you can view your character's gear, there should be a tab you can click to display your stats. This would allow you to quickly check stats while buying items, instead of needing to return to the "Class" or "Stash" tab.

First of all thank you all for your work. I really love this game and that's why I try to come up with constructive suggestion, I don't usually ping dev but I think this suggestion is very important for the future of this game. For me one the most important thing we have to learn from the hotfix #69 and this first year of early access is to not rush thing, to ask your community for feedback and to test things before releasing them on live server. The test server and suggestion website are very usefull tools but we feel like you barely use them. That's why I came up with some idea to incentivize people to use the test server and to include player in this test process. I'll be really glad to share a few words about it and again thanks you for this game.

@keen onyx @full tulip @dawn grotto When will the Warlock's Curse of Weakness be changed? Currently, there's no reason to use it since casting other spells to deal damage is more effective. Additionally, it only lasts for 10 seconds, which feels too short. It should either have a longer duration, like 16 seconds, or be changed to an area-of-effect ability similar to the Bard’s, making it more useful in various scenarios.
I don't know if Barb is strong right now, but he definitely shouldn't be. There's no skill expression with this character— all you need to do is get close and attack. Every noob can play barb and start killing people.
Only if barbs rage will also be increased, 16 seconds sound neat and fair.
Give me named bardiche k thanks 
Bard's weakness lasts for 18 seconds and you don't have to aim it at all.
And with gear it lasts even longer.

Imo there's 3 thing that are very important to change or add right now, first the suggestion I send just above, dev need to listen more / test their idea/player's suggestion.

And third maybe the more important, they need to improve the gameplay loop of the game. if they wanna nerf back step i think one charge is the right way to go. having one step creates decision making that suits the tension in the game. having another is excessive to me. in crypts, in the room with water, the gas zombies and the stone bridge, i was able to infinitely kite a guy using back step to gain space. i think it’s a cool use but the second back step made it so easy

Arena mode needs to get changed, you cant loot the other team so losing things you didn't loot just doesn't make sense.
Part 1
Things I think need to be added to the game or improved upon
more weapons and shields -- kite shield, knightly poleaxe, fist weapons, cleavers, curved swords, gisarme
more spells -- too many to name, endless possibilities
more utility options -- javelins, rocks, nets, smoke bombs, splash potions of poison /magical damage, climbing ropes, mob bait etc.
more support items -- campfire variety, buildable barricades, emergency extract item of some kind
more weapon mechanics -- modifiers for different attacks, (able to hold alt and the attack will be different, so if you are using longsword instead of the opening stab you will do a strike )
assassination mechanics ( if someone sneaks up behind you unnoticed you should 100% lose or the odds be like 99-1 in the assassin's favor)
a chase mechanic
all weapons be able to block, even one handers.
more weapons able to riposte like the longsword (obviously with a different animation than the LS ) -- rapier is a good example
an interactive hub with all the merchants and your stash
more levels -- new levels and content
sorcerer class as well as other new classes -- monk, ,paladin, artificer, etc.
more summon able creatures for warlock, druid, and any other class that can summon
single player modes -- not meaning solo queue I mean straight up single player, like a story mode
Part 2
Things I think need to be removed or adjusted
bows -- they're a little too strong for what was supposed to be a support class weapon. yes I know that fighters can counter bows that is literally the point of armor.
I think that bows should have aim sway when moving, especially if you are NOT playing as a ranger. If not aim sway then reticle bloom. bows should NOT be 100% accurate for every single shot. crossbows don't need to suffer as greatly but the reload time on them is giga insane and 100% unrealistic. slow the reload for crossbows.
the movespeed meta -- pretty much this whole game's ideal build is to stack movespeed or get so much pdr that you don't need as much (most people still prefer to have good ms even with high pdr) this wouldn't be such an issue if melee weapons had higher slow on hit and there was a chase mechanic in the game.
movespeed rolls on gear -- explained above mostly
slow on hit from melee needs to be increased
slow on hit from ranged needs to be reduced
squire needs to be greatly improved upon but also cost money for gear -- squire should be able to get you gear of all sorts of rarity, ofc this will have to be tested, but nobody can complain if you have oh lets say all blue gear from the squire BUT you had to pay him for it! You are basically cutting out the middle man in trading and getting geared up for HR and higher GS lobbies, and yes you have to do quests to earn this level of gear from the squire + you have to pay him each time for certain gear rarity.
mob damage is way too high and needs to be reduced to about half -- I don't feel too strongly about this but either reduce the damage or reduce the sheer amount of mobs on each map its batshit insane!
Part 3
What Iron Mace should do / should have already done
use the test server -- they don't seem to use it anymore. use it. test things.
listen less to the community -- primarily streamers
host community polls to vote for additional content or current game changes -- sounds hypocritical to the point above but in this case Iron Mace will not necessarily be asking us about specific feedback but instead show us what they're already working on releasing and asking what we want to see released, as well as instantly address larger problems with game balance / mechanics etc. This is almost the biggest request that could literally save the game but nobody talks about it!
a weekly or monthly update on developer progress -- would be nice to just have them check in more often

I don't think more weapon/armor is a good idea it just add more things to balance and more loot in loot table. It'll made everything more hard to get as there is more and more things to loot. I think most people can agree that the update 68 that increased the loot rate was on of the best ever, more weapon and armor will negate that (or they need to come up with something else so wizard know where to loot to get magic stuff, etc etc for each class but it'll even more work for something unescessary imo)
Same for more spell and skill, it would be cool but make the game even harder to balance. Let's already get every planned class then maybe add stuff to the old class.
More consumable and utility could be really cool tho, so you nedd to be prepared to go down in the dungeon and face every possibility. But we definitely need backpack/quiver/tool belt for that

Alone that don't solve anything, that need to come with random generated mob spawn (with a logic, you can't get a room full of wraith), randomized lever, trap, ladder. Rotate some module, maybe if possible swap floor if some module. There it's interesting if they only mix module place people would still individualy know them perfectly, how do rush through each module, which mob to kill or dodge to rush the other etc
I hate themis assassination idea, for most people landmine was one of the worst thing in the game. The only scenario where I could something like that is if you catch someone who is sitting.
About the more weapon mechanic I have mixed feeling, I understand that actual dual wielding combo, alternative move set stuff lile that sound cool but I don't want this game to become a for honor or a street fighter where you have to learn combo and have a reaction time of 0,001ms to counter any attack with the right riposte. And on top of that with the actual system you can already do really dumb movement by moving the camera while hitting. Imo we could have a bit more moveset, maybe make more weapon able to block (not parry, and improve how the impact resistance/power work) if they nerf those camera movement like if you move too much your movement lose inertia and deal less damage so you can't aim at feet and in 0.1 sec rise your weapon to the head and do full damage
I've seen lot of people ask for "more content" recently and for them good content would be more map and class. I think that's very wrong. Here's how I see thing, for me the most important content they could add would be stuff to improve the gameplay loop, it literraly haven't been touch since the release of the game. No new thing to do, new objective in the dungeon, always the old same boss run, for some Mining run, or PvP there it not much to do. Sure we've had more map, more class but to do the same thing that usual, we're going around in a circle, they change how the circle look or what shoes we can use but we are still going around in a circle. A forge, a PvE wave room for good reward, even the expressman could be an NPC to meet in the dungeon to save your gear.

the squire would automatically grab the gear for you. No other merchant needed.
so its just the merchants without having to buy from the merchants

stacking PDR is a big problem current, because you can stack it without any big deficite like ms penalty or whatever. So what about the idea that plate give minus action speed? Would also probably solve the issue with rondel dagger fighter aswell.
Imo the issues with PDR is mostly on Fighter due to Swift (especially) and Armor mastery. A start could be to increase the -MDR plate give, maybe generalize it to most heavy armor so Magic class are actually a real counter to PDR user. Action speed penalty may be a good idea too
first off their Religons suck , they dont even have good stats to offer , nothing cool like a Design to REP , they are just so shit , just a waste of time money sink
They've always said that the religion system will be something like this without big utility and that it won't give important bonus. It's made to be a an other small thing to gold sink. The real clan vs clan system will probably be the Guilds system
The biggest update they've planned to do with religion is add way to show you religion in game and stat to know which religion is the most powerfull etc

I would say MS needs a whole rework, I have thought about the idea of a static MS or a hard (or soft) cap per class so the classes that are supposedly slow don't get into 330 MS, that also will mean we will not see any more naked casters or naked rangers with 330 MS, ye, its fine if a class decides to take off its clothes to get faster, but it should be a limit on how fast they should be per class, this also will help with the issue than a Full Plate can reach a rogue in a chase

I think so too. Imo one way to do that would be to add more/improve controle skill (Slow, root maybe even add stun) better repartition of control and movement skill/spell. Probably also find something to do with movespeed, imo they could try to remove every stat that give more move speed and set a base move speed for every class that way it's not a contest of who stack the most MS but more skilled about who will hit is control skill or dodge with it's movement skill the best
since when does a crossbow decrease my move speed by 20%
Crossbow is a -50 movespeed penalty, it's a lot. I wouldn't be suprise if it was 20%

Make arenas more diverse by adding new game modes such as 6v6 or tournament mode. Add in minigame modes like a kill the juggernaut mode where one person has all their class's perks and abilities meshed together with a ton of health and have them fight the rest of the lobby.
Make wizard fireball and explosion have greater knockback, and also fighter's shield bash, so you can use them to fireball jump (Most likely will have to make a debuff duration so that you can only sustain one fireball self hit at a time).
Have like religion raid bosses or something idk.
add horses or make an open world map where all of the other maps connect.
Do something with the thing or the other thing.
adding new content to balance is better than overbalancing and fine tuning the same thing over and over again. That's like trying to rebuild a microwave 100 times so that it has the ability to cook metal successfully.
What do you guys think about arena having extra features like unique monsters exclusively to the arena, unique traps you don't see in dungeons, arena gear only etc? imo unique monster, traps, gear etc is not a good idea. Arena is not the main gamemode, it wasn't even intended at the beginning. Making unique content for it feel like a waste of time/ressource to me, i'm not against new mob or traps but not unique to Arena, if you've created new content why not use in both gamemode and especially in the main game mode. The merchant tho is a good idea, need to define what he used for. Maybe he could sell gear usuable only in arena, or you can pay a huge amount of gold to convert an item to "self found/crafted by you" state so you don't lose it in arena

Make the matchmaking wait for the lobby be full until the game starts. This will make the game way more fun and prevent people to farm without any danger in lower people servers.

Well I kinda agree with you on unique stuff, it all goes down to Ironmace's time, money, resources to pull these things off. I also would like to think some players just want to play arena for majority of the season and these players should be given a chance to do that with exclusive stuff like rewards, leaderboards, MMR, gear, content etc. I would love to see more from arena!
Well they've started to do that with this Hotfix, and if I'm right they've talked of a leaderbords with it's own reward for Arena

Agreed. And those same people would parrot "skill issue" when people pointed out that they were being carried by gear diff, but they were too scared to go into HR with harder mobs and equally geared players
Let Free to Play players play High Roller on the weekends, not being able to use any of the higher level gear they find or be rewarded for the time they invest in the game besides 3 quest cosmetics isn't it.
If they do that why "F2P player" would buy the game? The game isn't free and never intented to be free. There is free Trial, in the same way than MMO let you play until level 20 to try the game. This game is pretty niche I really don't think a free to play model will fit, and most importantly it'll ask for ressources Ironmace can afford to use on making skin/cosmetic item for a potential battle pass. The game is not that expensive especially for the hundred of hours you'll play it. One thing that's needed is Regional price but hopefully that might be available when it will be available to purchase on Steam (Soon hopefully based one what was said in this hotfix)

Selling on the marketplace, multiple characters, shared stash, faster blue shard accumulation, the ability to play HR any day of the week.
That's not much and kinda small feature. It's supposed to be a Trial version, some main feature 'eed to be locked so people want to buy the game. Arena and HR are big feature. The issues is that before normal and HR wasn't different enough as people could use any gear they want in Normal
You couldn't bring uniques into normals before, now you can't bring legendary weapons. This newest patch made it more restrictive for everyone. I don't think the cost of the game alone is gonna be enough for the future of the game. They added F2P to bring more players to the game, I'm pretty sure the majority of paid players wouldn't mind F2P players in their HR matches. I know I wouldn't, I've put over 3500 hours and spent over $100 supporting the game.

Normal used to be white gear only before F2P player, and no one complain about it, most even think it was really great. They added F2P to bring player and make them buy the game that's what the new gear bracket will do
People definitely complained about normals gear cap before, there used to be no cap at all for normals.
I wouldn't mind it either but it makes sense to limit it to combat mass account creation hacking and abusive practices. It doesn't stop those practices but it's a way to keep hr more fair and balanced

To help with the F2P issue, maybe add character slots for redstone - say 5 per slot and give a discount to the total game price for each slot bought.

yeah that's personally what i dont like about fighting barbs, it just turns into a game of keep away. kiting classes don't even feel like they can kite that well since there is achilles AND rage. like how does he have the highest health, highest damage and the ability to catch up to fast classes with buffed sprint (rage, +15 strength and vigor + a 12% move speed increase) WITH a slowdown, i dont know any other classes that have that base kit. i absolutely hate that fights reduce to a door game that i don't like playing, "all these cool modules and we're fighting at the doors" as i saw someone put it.

I do like how Barbarians have to choose between really good utility perks and damage perks vs one that breaks doors. If they don't have that perk they're at the mercy of anyone with higher regular interaction speed.

Well for me the free version of the game is here so people can try it. You don't really need to try HR and marketplace to get what it is and how it work, but being able to make several character to test out every class that seems more legit for a Trial version
Another point that make making HR accessible for F2P a bad idea is that HR is where you can make the most gold by far if you allow free account to go there you it's a open door for cheater and gold farmer

I make my gold in troll room and skelly champion kills, either normals or HR the drop chance for GK is a bit better in HR and mystical gem drops there along with named items. The paywall prevents more new players from enjoying the full game more than it prevents farmers and cheaters.
Anyway they can't do much against cheater. It's an issues in every game and even big company like Riot, Ubisoft or EA can't handle cheater so I won't expect much from Ironmace. If at least cheater have to buy yhe game each time they get ban then at least they make a bit of money
I've spent more on cosmetics than the game itself cost me, the paywall didn't exist during the PTs and that's when they had the most players.

mmr for arena terrible change right now...7 outta 10 matches teammates in squire gear and enemy team in rubysilver
I played around 16 games arena yesterday and got no one with squire gear best i saw was a wizard with 12% magic dmg bonus
Make a feature to where you can right click coin bags or chest and fill them with gold
Most classes have gotten good alternative movement tech but not all of them, which I feel is a shame.
The classes that still lack any real alternative movement and I am not including speed boosts are:
Cleric.
Fighter.
Wizard.
Bard.
Barbarian.
As an example of what I am mean by alternative movement I mean things such as Rogue's double jump or Ranger's backstep.
These classes need something so that they feel more unique.
Examples of suggestions for each class.
(Cleric Spell) Miraculous Stride: For 10 seconds you or an ally are able to walk over water and all movement slow effects are ignored (3 charges.)
(Barbarian Skill) Toss: Self-cast throw yourself a great distance in an arch, can be used on allies or enemies. Can be used as a gap closer, evasion or even to save allies in a fight by throwing them out of harms way.
(Wizard Spell) Fireball: With some adjustments give the fireball more knockback in a way that allows more organic and easily used fireball jumping either by default or with a perk, a rocket jumping wizard would be interesting.
(Fighter Skill) Rally: Create an area of effect around you where allies are given a speed boost as long as they stay within this area, this aura lasts 8 seconds and has a 12 second cooldown.
(Bard Skill) Slide: Slide forwards on your knees for about 2 meters you are at crouch height and gain go faster with previous momentum you can use A and D to move left or right during this slide, 2-3 second cooldown.

if you want to increase engagement with highroller, I think it might be best to remove losing points. Players that played high gear normals wont want to lose demigod or whatever rank they are just to play with higher rarity gear pvp. the removal of 125+ will just push people into squire gear lobbies which will just hurt new player retention even more.

I think the market should stay behind the full game, if you really want to give them a trial to it, maybe like 1 sell and 1 buy transaction per day? But I think it should stay behind paying for the full game. Allowing real money traders to access it for free will only hurt the game. Atleast right now they have to buy the game to access it and that puts some money in IMs pocket. It sucks but it happens and they will just rebuy the game as long as they have customers. So I think it's better to force them to put some money into IM if they are going to break TOS and sell stuff
Has there ever been any discussion about a fatigue bar? So much of high level combat involves jumping around to take advantage of the fact that attacking while jumping doesn’t cause you to slow down. If anything it should be the opposite. Many of the attack animations imply a lunge that should actually INCREASE your forward momentum when you attack, with diminishing .returns for repeated attacks of course. The movement meta is always discussed as a problem with combat. It’s overly technical and takes away from the realism of martial combat. The devs must know this is the case, as they implemented a movement penalty to rogues who take double jump. Thoughts?
Multiclassing has a place if it is limited and has a drawback. I suggested back when it first came out that it should have limits to the number of additional classes you can spec into, and there should be an incentive to stay pure in your class. The game is (supposedly) based on Dungeons and Dragons. Multiclassing is a powerful tool in TTRPGs like that, but it has a cost. You miss out on your capstone ability at max level. We get perks at levels 1, 5, 10, and 15; but nothing for hitting 20. Give the classes a choice of a couple, more powerful “capstone” abilities when they hit 20. Something that is build defining. For Fighters for instance you could give them access to all Armor types, or reduce move speed penalties when wielding two weapons, or give them a bonus to attack power or dmg while using a two handed weapon. It should be perks that are stronger than the other perks and that tie in to the different builds.
Unfair as people who already bought the game dont have the cosmetic free player will have "buying" the game thus way. It's already kinda true as right now people need to buy red shard to buy the game so they get 15 red shard that I didn't get when I bought the game. But I see the idea, imo it just shouldn't be for cosmetic but allow them to buy more character slot for 5 dollar that get deducted from the final price something like that

there needs to be some sort of buff or health return on kills, ive just played two games in a row with a good long 1v1 that i barely win just to immediately get jumped by a rogue that was hiding nearby.
What if.. hit points were not tied to strength and more directily tied to vigor? It would help a lot with this ranger and barb meta..
Barb already has a perk for 18% health back on kill, and it's basically useless

I think we should streamline HR, if rewards are account-wide on Pathfinder and above, why can't progress also be?
Now I don't mean all classes would get the Neophyte-Wanderer rewards, as those are more so a head start for people for the new season, so those who grind with those specific classes should get those for said classes and then just put the gold coin bags and meds in their shared stash.
The same argument can't be made for Pathfinder and above rewards and those take a considerable amount of time to grind since HR is in the bad in-between of not giving enough AP killing to avoid spawn rushing and Pve being the most consistent way of getting AP. It creates the problem that once people either reach Demigod they stop doing HR.
Streamlining HR progress across accounts would cause people to play classes they actually want and not just classes that benefit from either:
A. Being able to hide in the corners of maps and get loot and run away- Rogue, Druid
B. Be able to survive most fights and look the other cheek- Barb, Warlock with torture mastery
I personally just do HR as Barbarian as he's the easiest to me, I don't even like the class, achilles' heel is too powerful but that's not on topic
This streamlining would create problems with there no longer being the filtering of the leaderboard with certain classes but that would only be the case if Ironmace makes the bad decision to give top players special rewards as previously stated HR does not show who the best of the best, but the mid of midmaxxing AP.
Like I stated before I play Barbarian in HR solely because he's easy for me, I shouldn't want to play the class that's easiest for me, I should want to play the class I want in HR, either get out and earn my AP, or die and switch to a different class for whatever reason, the meta changes, I like this class more, or anything as once I reach demigod ill only plan on getting wanderer on other classes for the gold coin bag. This all the letters i can type.
Sort out Rat form for Druid. I find the fact when cave collapse is happening, one tick can kill you as a rat. its bs, make it hp percentage damage or something. Second you should nerf bats, they are OP, all other flying creatures have similar hp except the bat which is just annoying for no reason with a massive health pool
Are we talking about bats that scream at you or demon bats that shove you, also as for rat form and cave collapse, you know if anything touches you you’re going to die as the rat, it’s better to not be in rat form that close to cave collapse and just haul ass
Im a pretty new returning player, mainly played in the play tests, when im hauling ass and jumping through doors as rat to get to extract fast its easy to forget. Its still ass tho dying to one tick of cave collapse.
Im talking about the bats that scream, their health pool is disproportional compared to other small enemies on tje first floor. Takes me like 5 swipes as a bear to kill one in base gear, when all other small spider and flying stuff is 1-2 hits
The small bats do have a lot of health but this is exacerbated by how many hits are dealt to the wings rather than the head because of how small they are and the swing patterns of various weapons. They die pretty quick when using thrusting weapons.

different enough to stand out, not crazy enough or technically complicated enough to get super OP cause I mean it's still a quarterstaff and requires hitting a weapon or shield to trigger it and pavice can block it without taking damage to the parry (at least easily)

So Rogues should really not be able to pickpocket items out people Inventory in Arena, and then be able to actually keep the items.
My buddy went in with a Demon's glee, and Mana-Sphere that he crafted, and we ran into a team of three rogues, with Smoke-pots, and pickpocket. Stole the Extra Items.
Better yet, we actually won the game, so the Rogues didn't even get to keep the items. They're just gone now.
Demon's Glee, Mana-Sphere, and Centaurs Madness, just got Poofed out of existence.

arena: projectiles should be restored after the match after the match, or when entering provided with an amount, some classes have no consumable costs while others require it to function

We can't afford that, the last patch was them working on a way to reduce the splitting of the playerbase on too many lobby (Maps, group size, GS bracket, gamemode). If they open Arena all the time it'll split playerbase way too much. They can afford to do it on weekend because it's the peak of player

What about a second arena that didnt use normal gear, instead you would make a squire loadout just for this, but the squire gear would have Patch 69 balancing.

If we are doing competitive ranked, all players should be provided with the gear so its skill based - a squire where you can pick your rolls on gear

What about buffing Warmaul?
It deals the same damage as the bardiche despite being way harder to use, getting more MS penality and having such a small hitbox, for such a hard weapon to use you should get really rewarded but thats not the case
It has 20% armor pen which sounds good but at the end its the same as all the other hammers, something that doesnt make sense, it should have its 40% armor pen reverted
Other change it could have could be just more damage only on the head of the hammer, you could increase the weapon damage and decrease the stick damage in proportion so the hammer head deals more but the stick deals the same number as it deals now
I personally would like the armor pen reverted, as the reward for the weapon would be that someone with big plate armour will receive basically the same damage as someone with no armor
Im really a fan of the Warmaul as a cleric but to be honest, any of the other hammers are just better, way less weight, easier to land and the same armor pen, warmaul its so slow and hard to use than most of the time you will get outdamaged with basically any other weapon

I wish past limited time races/cosmetics (other than like coffee, and st Jude stuff) could be bought with shit loads of blue shards or somehow re-redeemable via a lengthy quest. People playing ranked can get their "higher skilled" lobbies AND just play for the rewards which means they don't have to spend tokens or do lengthy quests. there would be more incentive since you can not worry about stat diff of race, pressure to play cause time limit, and can keep that adventurous wonder of finding new silly cosmetics with your hard work. The true way of showing skill would be how you fight, not the cosmetics, but they would add some "flavor", especially for new players if they were accessible.

i have an idea for the socket system
every piece of gear comes with this "gem" socketed inside it which dictates half of the rolls on the item
from there, back in the tavern with the piece of gear, you can take it to a merchant who can either take out the gem, destroying the gear but keeping the gem with those rolls, or destroy the gem, keeping the piece of gear with a roll or two on it. From there, any gem can be socketed into any gear which occupies the same slot
this retains the hunt for crazy gear which drives alot of players, while also making BiS easier to acquire.
For example:
I find legendary bardic pants from killing troll. obviously, these pants are not good. But the pants roll for max armor rating and max health.
I extract with those pants, and take it to the merchant to pick 2 of these rolls i can take and form into a gem, which can then be socketed into another pair of pants, replacing 2 of the rolls on that item.
with better tweaking i think this could be a good system for making BiS more obtainable, while also retaining the gear hunt aspect of the game
nerf warlock blow of corruption and make it so they cant use plate armor
dudes always been overpowered since he first came out just nerf him to the ground please there is no need for him to be the easiest class in the game like this

Lemme break down ur Complaint for you. 1. BOC is easily avoidable if a warlock charges u with a sword its a no brainer theres boc involved just run away till it expires. 2. Plate lock isnt even viable. Theres too many counter to PDR for it to be an issue. 3. COP got nerfed so we cant continuously curse to death so we have to swap to a slow BOLT that is dodgeable not to mention does reduced damage if you hit an arm or a leg.
When the socketing system comes out, allow for modifiers such as burn, freeze, poison and void damage. Different sockets would allow for different % of damage.
Instead of waiting in the game menu and readying up you should use the old pre lobby and kinda mmo hub and have all the merchants in there too and there’s doors to the maps you want to play when your team is ready you all just walk through

add in a right click after hitting with a shield to allow people to parry with it by punching with the sword hilt for a faster but lower damage hit classified as a sword attack so it gets buffs for swords, then allow caster classes to have an ability for additional no cooldown "light" spells kinda like cantrips in DND where it's low damage or has some minor utility but weaker than normal spells, and as a drawback for it it costs an ability slot, and allow rangers to have a sort of charged attack with greatbows that have a stupid long draw speed but has high damage, and only allow one player at a time to use it (so it doesn't get OP because three people sit way up high and snipe people or camp doors) this would also make shields better, and would help change the move speed meta and make the higher health easier to manage meaning it can be re-buffed while still holding the lead dev's vision in mind, ALSO you could do the staff parry I mentioned earlier allowing monks (when they come out) to parry with a quarterstaff but when THEY hit a weapon with an attack that allows them to strike with the other end of the staff for extra damage
you could also make it so that barbarian with one handed is faster and can slow people better but also has reduced damage (slightly)
I also like this idea it would also add more stuff to loot though which might make it so there's more bad items in loot ironically, though that might just balance it back out and maybe require a buff to the socket items themselves
bard could get tiny buffs to compensate for no changes because those changes do make the classes much better. give rogue medium buffs to move speed through abilities and one that goes above the cap but only by a tiny bit so it's not too crazy as well as more movement tech, and give fighter and warlock their full HP back to before patch 69, and give barb half of it back or make it's reduction not percentage based but instead a flat number, give druid a slightly lower health potential as a bear, and make it's support spells much stronger (not healing leave that as it is)
what classes haven't I listed... ah cleric just leave it be maybe SLIIIIIGHTLY more move speed

I already made an excellent list of changes that I think will benefit the game. I have decided to make another one. Many things I say on this list will be repeats but that's ok.
Part 1 -- I will come back and modify later
Weapon tweaks and additions
1.) The Crystal Sword is no longer a magic catalyst and cannot cast spells -- Nobody ever uses it as a catalyst
2.) All weapons' alternative attacks have been replaced with block -- Halberd, Maul, Zweihander, Battle Axe, Double Axe, Crystal Sword
3.) All weapons have been given the ability to block -- Unable to block if dual wielding unless a special bind was added. Weapons in the left hand will block only if there isn't a weapon in the right hand.
4.) All weapons have been given riposte attacks after successfully blocking
5.) You can now feint your attacks with a button of your choosing
6.) All shields can be used to bash by clicking RMB after a successful block -- Bash base damage with each shield is equivalent to that shield's armor rating.
7.) Slow on hit from melee has been raised for all weapons -- Bigger weapons have more, smaller weapons have less
8.) The recovery time after a full combo with a weapon has been increased -- This prevents someone from being infinitely stun-locked
9.) All axes have been given armor penetration -- Double Axe having the most, Hatchet having the least.
8.) New weapons -- Poleaxe, Scimitar, Spiked Club, Caestus, Bladed Gauntlets, Cleaver, Slingshot, Estoc, Goedandag.
9.) Fist weapons now replace your gauntlets and can be worn even while wilding another weapon. -- Caestus, Bladed Gauntlets.
10.) Bows can now only be wielded by the Ranger and Fighter
11.) The Survival Bow is now a utility weapon and has been greatly modified -- The Survival Bow is a tiny, makeshift bow. It's damage should reflect that and not even come close to rivaling that of a powerful Recurve Bow. The Survival Bow now is equipped in your utility slot and does equivalent damage to throwing knives.
12.) Arrows no longer come in stacks of 20, instead they now come in a stack of 16 and to pickup a stray arrow you must have a Quiver in your backpack or in your utility belt, otherwise each arrow takes up it's own space! -- The Squire will give you a Quiver to start with if you have a Bow or Crossbow
13.) Crossbows now take much longer to reload -- Specifically the part of the animation where you pull out and equip the reloading device takes longer, as well as putting it back up
14.) Crossbows can only reload if you have the reloading mechanism in your Utility belt. -- The Merchants you purchase a Crossbow from will automatically give you the reload mechanism, Squire will too. If you loot someone's Crossbow and plan to use it, you must loot their mechanism or find your own
15.) All Bows and Crossbows now have weapon sway while moving
16.) Shields can now properly block thrusting attacks

13, crossbows now are fine as long as the bolts are unloaded when its not in your hand (makes no sense to pack a loaded crossbow, the bolt would fall out)
14 that would be a pain in the ass, no thanks
Technically crossbows are more user friendly then bows, so more classes should be able to use those over bows
Part 2
Perk and Skill tweaks and additions
Fighter (Mostly)
1.) Victory Strike now restores 20% HP on use instead of on a finishing blow -- Cooldown time 45 seconds
2.) Second Wind and Adrenaline Rush are combined into a single skill: Second Wind -- You now gain only 30% of your HP over 10 seconds. You now gain 30% action speed for 5 seconds. No more downside. Cooldown time 120 seconds, cannot be restored by bonfire as it isn't necessary anymore.
3.) New Perk: Polearm Mastery - Gain the ability to wield all polearms more efficiently. While wielding a polearm (Spear, Bardiche, Halberd, Poleaxe) gain 2 weapon damage and 10% action speed
4.) Shield Slam now has a much smaller cooldown and can be used before and after your weapon combo.
5.) Perfect Block now lasts for 10 seconds and recharges every 30 seconds
6.) Sprint and Backstep have been removed.
7.)Rage and Phantomize no longer give additional movespeed, but instead remove the movespeed penalty for all actively equipped weapons.
8.) Spell Reflect duration changed from 3 to 8 seconds. Cooldown time 30 seconds.
9.) Breakthrough has been changed to a perk and now gives an 80% reduction to slow on hit. Activates upon receiving physical damage and stays active for 8 seconds. Cooldown time 45 seconds.
SDF : "Continuous Dungeon will help players escape easily, and other players will fill the spots of players who escaped..."
In case he is talking about filling in real time and not during waiting time between layers only.
Many people won't like to be forcibly placed into an started match. So i recommend you to let players choose whether to join that match or not by giving them the exact time left in the first layer. I personally wouldn't care if you place me into an started game but there will be a lot of players (very noisy) complaining, so take it in count.
Rogue
1.) Hide now only makes you mostly transparent and has been changed to a perk. -- All perks associated with Hide have been removed. This change allows Rogues to be hidden from Mobs detection by an additional 60%, and if in a good position, blend right into the environment.
2) Tumbling animation is now much quicker. Cooldown time 10 seconds
3.) Dagger Mastery and Thrust have been combined. -- Gain 2 weapon damage, 10% action speed and 15% armor penetration when wielding daggers
4.) Pickpocket, Creep, and Lockpicking Mastery have been removed and are now passive abilities when playing as a Rogue.
5.) New Skill: Ambush -- Gain 1.5x damage when attacking from behind, gain 15% movepeed and action speed for 4 seconds. Cooldown time 60 seconds
Ranger
1.) Chase footsteps now show where an enemy was 10 seconds ago
2.) Multishot has been removed
3.) Forceful Shot now only applies to the first arrow fired. Cooldown time 30 seconds
4.) Rangers can now wield spears by default and Spear Proficiency is removed
Barbarian
1.) Achilles Strike is now on a timer. Active Time 5 seconds Cooldown Time 60 seconds
2.) Rage and Warcry have been combined and greatly tweaked. -- Gain 20 HP, Allies Gain 20 HP, Gain 2 weapon damage for 10 seconds. You now gain 10% action speed for 5 seconds. Cooldown time 120 seconds. Cannot be restored at a bonfire as it isn't necessary.
3.) Robust has been removed
4.) Berserker has now been removed and is a passive ability while playing Barbarian
5.) Iron Will has been tweaked -- Gain 60 magic resistance. Gain knockback immunity when attacked for 8 seconds. Cooldown Time 45 seconds.
6.) War Sacrifice has been removed
7.) Blood Exchange slight tweak -- Now gain 5% max HP per hit, Only lose 12% of Max HP.
8.) Reckless Attack and Executionor combined into a skill: Reckless Attack -- Now gain 35% extra damage on your next headshot. The skill is not consumed until you land a headshot, Cooldown time 60 seconds.
Druid
1.) Shapeshifting now has a cooldown time. -- Each animal gets a different cooldown time, with the bigger animals having a longer time and the smaller ones having a shorter time. This works both ways, as shifting into an animal will mean that trying to change back into a human can take some time. This eliminates Druids abusing mobility of multiple different animals and endlessly changing back and forth over and over.
2.) Shapeshifting Mastery tweaks -- Now has a cooldown time and can only be used 2x (So for example you could instantly change form into a Bear and back into a Human, then the perk is on cooldown for 60 seconds)
Warlock
1.) Torture Mastery is removed and now specific spells now automatically come with magical healing -- Curse of Pain, Power of Sacrifice, Life Drain etc.
2.) Life Drain tweaks -- Damage Increased to 10 base magical, Heal only 50% of damage dealt. Can now be used while moving.
3.) Hydra tweaks -- Hydra can no longer be used to heal off of. Hydra HP cost greatly reduced. Hydra HP changed to 120 but the active time is now 20 seconds.
4.) Dark Offering tweaks -- Lose 8% of your maximum HP when channeling. Gain 2 weapon damage upon usage (cannot be stacked) Gain 2 magical damage upon usage (cannot be stacked), and 10% action speed for 10 seconds. Gain 1 darkness shard per tick. Can be used while moving. Cooldown time 60 seconds.
5.) Blow of Corruption tweaks -- No longer deals any headshot multiplier. Deals 25 magical danage. Completely Stops magical healing for 6 seconds. Cooldown time 60 seconds.
6.) Phantomize tweaks -- Can now phase through doors, but take 15% Max HP if you do. Taking magical damage will now cause the effects of the skill to shorten in time, as well as passing through doors or other physical props.
7.) Blood Pact tweaks -- Gain a magical damaging aura around you during transformation that deals 3 magical damage per 0.2 seconds. No longer take damage during transformation. Transformation now only lasts for 12 seconds.
Unequip and lose access to all weapons. Gain 20 HP. Claws deal 30 base damage and 2 true magical damage. Can still use all spells. Lose all movespeed penalties from armor and weapons. Each Darkness shard that was consumed gives you 3% physical and 3% magical damage reduction.
Bard
Idk what the heck IM was thinking with bard, but there is so much that needs changing and so much work that I do NOT even want to type it all out nor do I play Bard enough to know exactly how to fix the class.
I do know that a Bard is SUPPOSED to be a SUPPORT based class that is tied to his instruments, so maybe tweak most of his music to be such and lower all of his stats so that way he isn't just a better slayer fighter.
Wizard, Warlock and Cleric need more spells.
Part 3 (Wip)
Damage Mechanics tweaks and addition
1.) When attacking from behind with any weapon gain 15% backstab power as any class -- Sort of a pseudo assassination mechanic
2.) Hitting the legs with any weapon now applies additional slow on hit
3.) Killing any mob will give you a little bit of HP back. The amount restored depends on the mob difficulty.
so you entirely just suggested already gutting one of the worst classes ingame even more.

Just because another game has it doesn't mean it wouldn't be a very useful tool. Being able to feint your weapon would add a whole new layer to combat, especially if every weapon can riposte and block, you don't want to give your opponent a free parry.
Armor penetration on axes makes sense logically. Axes are as heavy and even heavier than war hammers and maces, and even though they have blades, they also have most of their weight at the top, allowing them to transfer energy through armor- thus armor penetration fits perfectly.
Again? You can say you disagree, but telling me my ideas aren't great is kind of a jerk move. Everyone has their own opinions about what would be good in the game. I encourage you to share, but if you are going to insult me at least explain yourself.
I agree, either weapon sway or a "cone" instead of pin point accuracy. Something needs to change.

already is one at close range, at far range it's moreso a guess though.
make it so you can load bows and crossbows etc. in the lobby so you dont have to waste time at the start of the game
Improve the blocking system, or add a personal blacklist. I don't want to come across the same players who will teamkill at the beginning of the game, or steals your items and leaves without saying anything.

crystal sword warlock with dark offering, seems balanced to me ngl 115% magic dmg and 39% phy dmg not even bis build
a good way to make this game good is by removing warlock and druid
or actually make a patch where you try to balance them without buffing at the same time
and make it so different tiers of weapons with armor pen is varied so common might have like 5% and then leg might have the 40% or something like that
Meant no harm, you posted changes you would like to see, and while taking the balance of the game into account i disagree with some, and agree with others, i dont know why you decided to only focus on the negatives instead of the things we both agree with.
The reason the chivalry style gameplay wouldnt work is because right now even the parry on the LS is ass so they would have to work on their netcode more and im not even sure if the game engine would be able to work around it since the game was not based upon that style anyways.

Axes with armor pen makes sense, but they already do huge damage, it would be overboard.
Weapon fients would be cool, but again this game would have to have an entire weapon rework similar to for honor or chivalry and that would take a ton of work
me not agreeing with alternate attacks being taken out is because i like the alternate attacks, instead a compromise would be to have alternate attacks while holding block on say.. the halberd

Suggestion for Marketplace. When searching for tags (such as those in 'item name'; 'rarity'; 'class' etc.) keep the search text box selected after each search without needing to select 'Enter text to find'. For example if I'm searching for 'max health' under random attributes, when i select 'max health' allow me to keep typing without having to re-select the text box after.

i do not agree with almost any of your specifc class changes, you are naming almost reworks.
every glass is good in its on way. Yes some may be better at this current time with whatever metas are popular but that does not mean to entirely change 7/10 of a classes perks and skills

That shouldn't be a thing, if your gear gets taken like that the goblin should give it back to you as soon as he extracts with it, If I'm not mistaken. Don't quote me on that they may have disabled that feature I'm not sure.

Druid:
1: No I think they need that mobility, the class doesn't really excel at anything specific unless you build into it directly.
2: I agree that Instacast is a little too overzealous, put a charge counter of like three and let them still get off the combo for mobility and such, but limit it.
3: Again I don't really think this is necessary however I don't think it should be a spell and a perk.
Warlock:
1: I believe that is fine, honestly you can still hit them with AOE and such as well as the duration isn't really crazy, maybe shorten it a bit though?
2: Ima say pass on that I think its in a good spot, just makes you have to figure out okay and I fighting this guy or backing off.

Hire the announcer from Halo 3 to announce different medals and achievements in arena. This could also be put into non arena. The reason to hire the halo 3 announcer is that it will draw a lot of new players because the halo announcers following is the key here. Everyone loved getting kills and multi kills on halo because of this guy and this guy alone. I have no doubt in my mind that adding medals, multi kill medals, killing spree type crap will increase the population on the game as it will be nostalgia for old gamers but also a lot more fun to get kills in general. Imagine flexing your perfect lobby wipe medal when you single-handedly killed every player in the lobby without dying or someering like that and the halo 3 guy announcer says “PERFECTION”. I’d bust ngl. Then you can take this into different game modes for arena like CTF, KoTH, etc.

You guys need to think of other ways to tune bows other than lower weapon damage. The issue is they’re no downsides to bows. You have to increase damage falloff even more. Casters need to be within punishable distant. This should be across the board with range anything in this game. They hit way to hard from extreme distances and can spam because you also allow bow users to essentially have infinite shots. When do bow users ever run out of arrows, never. Add quiver or increase arrow stacks to 50 and limit it to 50 in an inventory at a time. Even this is not enough as you have fighters and bards doing the same thing. Completely remove bows from both bard and fighter or give everyone the ability to use bows and spells. This game is nothing but getting ppl low with range before engaging. Is your envision to turn this game into call of dust or what

give monk elemental magical damage attacks and skills in the form of perks, like thunderstep being a quick teleport that damages enemies in the path between the short range teleport, fire fist that shoots an extremely short range cone of fire for medium damage as an ability, frozen shields that reflect damage as an ability, and a perk granting holy damage to melee attacks (albeit a minor bonus but have it change the full attack to diving magical damage instead of adding a small amount of magical weapon damage) and maybe dark skills which all do dark damage and they aren't compatible with each other (meaning you can equip elemental/divine at the same time as the dark stuff)

founders edition should give you a per account, once every 3 days HR forgiveness IF you D/C. you would have to not die from mobs or players but the dungeon, and be D/C-ed, the forgiveness can be even just a half penalty, or only forgiven if you already made enough points to cover your fee.

Because they want you to go for gear, not gold. People would legit go in with just squire gear and five gold bags to come out with 250 gold, it’s not what they want you to go in for. In arena make it to where you can’t turn off the dungeon/ map lights. Pretty toxic to play in the dark especially when the other team is rangers or rouge and they keep turning the lights off.

Rogue stealth perk suggestion
"Allows hide to be used for 60 seconds, with unlimited steps but reduces move speed by 40%. must remain crouched to maintain hide effect, any action or cast breaks hide"
You could combine two of the perks into one (moving in hide, and hide duration) and and change the moving in hide perk to something else.
Adding a negative effect like getting to close to pve mobs, or lingering in their vicintiy alerts them, failing to create distance will allow the pve mobs within a set distance see the rogue as if they were not hiding could help any pve abuse someone might come up with
So you could be extremely sneaky, but slow. You die in one or two hits anyway, so it would be cool if you could actually sneak across a module and get up behind someone rather than waiting for them to maybe path close enough to you
That would be broken as hell ngl. And pdr rogues with 145 hp do not die in “one or two hits”.

Gear-based matchmaking should be calculated per individual modifiers, weighting some differently. New players that run it back with the gear they found in the previous match are currently pitted against others who min-max. I don't see anything negative from this, only positives.

That would be ideal at first sight, but in fact probably very hard and time comsuming to balance. Because obviously stat like physical/magical damage etc will have a lot of weight while Buff duration and ressourcefulness are going to weight less. Issues is that se class can do broken build with those "weak" stat so this weight system is just going to create new meta
You'll end up seeing Warlock min maxing Buff duration/ressourcefulness + memory capacity gear to do 10 spell Eldritch shield, Power of sacrifice + infinite Dark Offering build or shit like that
Suggestion for a caster-spell - Turning on or off all lights/roasters in a certain radius. Maybe with a cooldown/reverse effect. Call it breath of fate or something similar.

Please remove mini bosses from arena. And make the spawns less asymmetrical. For example the spawns in Demon Throne (Inferno) and Guard Posts (Crypts) are so lopsided. It gives such an enormous advantage to one team.

Yes, the point would be to negate that move speed even further since the idea was to allow them to stay in stealth and move around freely for quite a long time

Also I started doing random trios in HR, I usually just play solo and I notice players often are just leaving very well rolled gear and only taking collectibles gold and gear for the class they are playing

40% is way to much, you'd be moving at like 20% speed at that point, might as well not be moving at all, hell forget sneaking up you'd get more out of staying in one place because if they even slightly move that would add a extra 5 seconds to get to them, this is objectively a terrible idea that wouldn't be useful to anyone other than those wanting to stand in place for 60 seconds to landmine, you would be nerfing your hide at that point instead of helping it

We can't afford that. The player base is not big enough, if they open arena all the time we'll probably have 2-3 min matchmaking queue in both Arena and in the dungeon (maybe even worst on some map/group size), half empty lobby and thing like that

Not really, Arena is limited to Legendary edition player only that already reducing by a lot player who can play it. And yes with the recent change more people played Arena but that's a temporary change to make more people play it to gather data (and even that way in EU we still got between 30sec to more than 1 min queue time, at peak player count with a temporary feature to boost player on arena)
after the change on arena people that are done with looting like me really stopped enjoying the dungeons, they should bring arena back for good until the wipe, I was playing 8 hours a day, now 0

the problem spawn rushing with no need for even door use on most modules on ruins let alone having to fight the mobs. it is beyond easy for ppl to rush through rooms, not even aggroing mobs, jumping walls, and attacking in the first. I'm fighting in the first 120s of over half the ruins I play, usually ambushed in my starting room before i have even cleared 3 mobs. shouldn't be able to just run past all the mobs, should have to fight em. shouldn't be able to hop walls, doors should be necessary. every other map does not allow for wall hoping. i think they need to ajust monster placement to make ppl fight mobs before they can get out of their starting room. i think you should have to fight mobs in HR to get from 1 side of a room to another, let alone from room to room. I think you should have to interact with doors to go between modules.
This isn't arena, you should have to engage the mobs, not rush past. it is creating a toxic ambush meta, they know the spawns, and rush them, so unless you wanna spawn rush your self, you cant really clear your tile, you just have to wait to see if ppl are coming so you can fight them without having them third party you while you fight mobs. its a waste of time, and points, allowing ppl who have memorized all the glitch jump spots and paths to play arena in HR while the rest of us play HR... like why even HR? why not just wipe first floor ruins all the way to Demi? screw bosses and mini bosses, screw going down, lets all be rogues and barbs and lets just make HR the arena. no real fights, no real PvE, just annoying ambush tactics, that's why I say to @keen onyx the ruins is more broken then ever./
Your right but imo it's a more global issues not only on Ruins. But they talked about randomized module, hopefully better than just moving module around. Random mob spawn, move lever, ladder when possible, traps etc

From what I understood they removed Ruins to fix that, the fact that we could climb everywhere and hop over the wall but that's still a thing, a bit better than old ruin but still. I like the idea of the crow when you climb somewhere but you shouldn't be able to go to an other module by the wall. Or it have to be on purpose, like when the timer is near the end the wall start to collapse and the map litteraly fall into ruin so you can hop over wall and stuff that would prevent the spawn rush and add a really cool mechanic to the map

It could be fishing, it could be a "Forge" to socket the gem on your item, it could be a unique merchant that randomly spawn in the dungeon, a mini PvE Arena that give you loot. There is so much possibility to bring variety, to improve the gameplay loop. I really hope IM, especially SDF will see that and start to consider it.

This way you could find cheap good items in the market sometimes because there will be players who won't know it's real value and won't make the effort to find other player to rate it (Trading post).
Also you could do things like ask armorer merchant with high affinity to rate your plate chest for gold.
More class identity, less gold for those who want to rate an item through merchants and more sociability.

I thought many time about cool ideas and shared stash blocks them or makes them harder to implement without exploiting risk.
I don't think we never really needed it and it already created bad practices like picking all you see in dungeon since if you don't need it with your actual class you will need it with the rest.

nah man the shared stash page is such a good thing simply due to the fact it cuts down on pointless grind times for quests since i can take that quest item i find on that character thats say 8 quests away from needing it to my character thats already on that quest. also with the shared page i dont need a middle man to transfer items between characters anymore which removes the risk of having someone run off with your gear.
The fact that you feel questing like a pointless grind, points one of two things, or there is a design problem, or you don't like questing concept. I think it is probably the first one. In any case this problem shouldn't be solved by making grind faster thx to the shared stash, instead they should work on making questing actually fun.

Tf? That is an absurd idea, and you are aware affinity unlocks are account wide? The only point to doing quests on a 2nd character is to hope for good rolls on rewards, a gold chest and a bit on XP for other characters.
The shared stash allows you to play mutiple classes by transferring gear and money across them
Hiding bonus rolls on gear is completely stupid and they are already working on a system to reroll or resocket the rolls on gear.
What you are trying to do, is create a situation where certain classes can control the market and then prevent players from using that class to buy the gear they need and transfer it to their main class
It is a completely useless grind after the first time per wipe and not many people want to spend countless raids looking for a gem or feather on mutiple characters
Ruins is simply a really, really poor designed map. The first major issue and probably most annoying is that the majority of the spawns are all located in the north half of the map, with over half the players spawing no less than 1 room from another, this is exacerbated by the fact that the north also has the best loot on the map with 3 back to back royal coffins.
The second issue is that many of the module barrer walls can be jumped over. This makes it far too easy to skip rooms as you dont even have to open a door, and risk an army of mobs you aggroed attacking you, but also that you can enter other modules without even making a sound. Additionally the walls make it so you can see over them and get knowledge without actually entering the other module.
There are even more issues with Ruins many of which are just fundemental to its design and layout that make it a poor map. But the two listed above are the most agregious, and also easiest to fix.
In truth ruins should prob just be removed permenantly it has always been a problem child of a map.
Random module location, with random pre-set walls and better spawns could help fix this
(The same walls won't always be on the same modules so you won't be able to just hop out and over every time but still allows for the fun movment and tech)
Random modules would help every map. But there is a reason ruins is such a problem compared to all the others.
If making quest is not fun and your playerbase only sees it as a step to obtain rewards you have a design problem or an usless gimmick.
Right everyone knows how to cross the map as fast a possible because the modules are the same, and the wall jumps are the same every time
The other reason that the map is so quick to cross is the mob density and the layout.
The real issue with ruins is that each module lacks dimension. Literally as in each module can be traversed via the top layer and is connected to each other only by that top layer. As such you never need to engage with the extra 2 vertical dimensions that exist on every module like you would on goblin caves and forgotten castle . do.

What you want are random daily / weekly quests that provide a significant rewards equal to difficulty

Kill lich and warlord, here's a gold bag, a legendary neck and a legendary weapon

What I mean is that the game supports 3 layers for each module. All modules have 3 layers, its just that on most modules the third layer either is inaccessible or nothing exists on that layer, but every module has at least two layers. The problem with Ruins though is that their is one no need to ever access the second layer in order to traverse the module, This effectively makes each module anywhere to 1/2-2/3's the size and as a result the whole map is faster to traverse, making spawn rushing more of a problem.
Sorry but that is not true, that is what world of warcraft standariced for mainstream RPG industry. There are too many games with unique questing where the focus is not just in getting more farm.

Skinny Petts vid on 1 shot released a few hours a go, min 4:40, great sugestion. Rangers should get an accuracy decrease as they move ans shoot, like the spread in most shooters. Standing still deadly accurate. Would make backstep and pushing shot much better, and help with kite meta. Maybe the same with spells too. Not a huge spread, but a little lol.

I feel like it's just me but, I want more gear depth. I want items that modify modifiers, etc. like in Path of Exile, I want the Talent tree already so I can further modify my build so my gear can synergize with my tree and I want endgame progression that isn't just "kill boss".

Imo they could make item "Found by" account wide so if I drop a Ranger item while playing my Wizard I can still use it on Arena on my ranger without losing it. That would be the minimum, if they want to make it even more easy they could allow Quest reward gear and Reward token gear to be like "Earned by" and count as Self found

Yeah but season last for 3 month. Even if you don't play a lot, if they allow the gear found on any character to be used safely in arena you'll end up having really good gear. Even more easy if they allow quest reward and reward token item to be safe in arena
Here is my suggestion To fix Range meta. Remove backstep from ranger and give it to rogue. Ranger doesn't even truly need backstep they were a top tier class before it, it just now gives them more power they dont need or deserve.
Backstep is a problematic ability on ranger for two reasons. One ranger is already brutal enough at distance, and already has a short range punish in the form of multishot. It is simply not fair or fun that once you close the distance, they can still escape.
Secondly Backstep is a problem on rangers ability to use spear. Spear is a super long range melee weapon with great stats and attack animation, backstep allows ranger to abuse their access to spear. This means that Backstep in reality equates to 1-2 extra spear attacks per fight which can very easily win fights alone.
The reason rogue should get backstep instead of ranger is simple, backstep is a better tumble and rogues already have tumble. It is strange that IM would make an ability that functionally does the same thing as another but make it better and give it to a class that doesnt need it.
On that character and I get one in a day if that so don't tell me ahh well no you play all day every day you don't get it

I partially agree with you, backstep right now is too strong. It shouldn't have 2 charge imo or increase the cooldown of each charge. But I don't think it should be removed and well you've said it Rogue have Thumble, it's kinda the same as Backstep so maybe just improve Thumble, making it usable. Maybe make it scale better on dex (Dex make you thumble faster) but if they do it need to have a small cooldown
The issue is backstep is a balance problem on ranger. It is something they as a class should not have access too
Ranged has proven itself to be extremely powerful in this game, arguably more powerful than any other weapon or damage type. With the ability to harrass people at distance, punish pushers, and abuse the movespeed meta to kite people. Rangers do not need any help. When a melee class finally manages to catch up to them having blocked or outright eaten several arrows and not died, landed the francisca or halberd and finally inflicted damage slow, those melee classes should not be met with the backstep spear to the face combo after all the work they put in.
Ranger has methods to keep people away, they have hunting traps they can place down, they have pavise they can put down as a barrier or obstruction to block doors or narrow corridors, they even have access to a good melee option in the form of spear. They have enough movespeed to kite for days as it is by putting there weapon away and bunny hoping. Rangers already even have a punish to people pushing in the form of multishot which can just one tap people. They do not need any more disengage than they already possess.
The reason I say give it to rouge is because ranger simply shouldnt have it. Rogue is prob the only class that wouldnt be able to abuse backstep.

But if we make the game easier for you we'll probably lose the player who play a lot because then it'll be too easy for them and they'll leave the game way earlier than they'll normally do. That's why I think a middle ground would be the best, making Self found account wide is the minimum, allowing Quest reward gear and Reward token gear to be used safely in arena could be a good move too but allowing any piece of gear to be safe would make it too easy

Yes and no, no real interest to play it if it's the same update than the live server. And without any incentive the issue is than no one use it, there is like 50 player at best on the test server. That's not enough to gather any data and this number don't really increase even when they add an update to test. That's why they use live server to test thing and gather data because player are here and play here. That's why I suggested to add incentive to use the test server

Why does the halberd keep getting nerfed for absolutely god knows what reason when its one of the worst weapons in the game, every time the bardiche recieves nerfs the halberd catches the nerfs too for no reason despite being an inferior weapon by far
Halberd hits like a truck, the problem is the weapon hitboxes are completely bs compared to the bardiche. Bardiche doesn't have any red zones on it, just 70% damage on the shaft. Where as halberd has a small area that actually gets full damage being the blade, the rest is 50% damage which is the entire shaft. They should change that as opposed to nerfing the damage.
well yeah ik how bad it is on an objective level when comparing the fact the courspot of halberd is basically as big as the entire weapon hitbox of the bardiche, along with having the single worst sourspot in the game at 50% for god knows why. the bardiches weapon hitbox doesnt even extend half way down the weapon shaft so even tho the shaft looks like its a big hitbox in reality only half of it is modelled as a hitbox, meanwhile nearly the halberds entire shaft is modelled while also doing 20% less damage than every other polearms sourspot

basically you can use 1 charge, the cooldown starts and you still have another charge that you can use while the first is recovering. If you use both shortly after the other you have to wait ~50 seconds to get them both back or 25 to get one back

Personally I think that gear should be flattened a bit but not like they did in the patch where everything was the same. Instead, something more like this:
Gray heavy boots: 3 str, lowest armor
White: 4 str, little more armor than gray
Green: 4 str, little more armor than white
Blue: 5 str, little more armor than green
Purp: 5 str, little more armor than blue
Orange: 6 str, little more armor than purp
Gold: 6 str, highest armor

Nerf ranger multishot. Should not do 100% all 5 arrrows. Should be 20-25 per arrow and lower cooldown. Nothing else in the game 5x your damage besides magic missiles but atleast its not a 1 shot.

I just finished the last Q&A, I feel like this Continuous dungeon system is going to be terrible the way they're going to do it. What do you understood about it and think of it?
So, to set things at a clear basis, to my understanding the function of this system will be as follows: Standardized starting process of match yet players will be able to join and depart/descend at any point.
This may introduce complications such as surprise spawns, lack of drops to accommodate fresh appearances, gear gap in low GS lobbies for late arrivals, all the extractions being utilized before late joiners can arrive, and market dillution due to boss rushing, thus turning normal lobbies into what effectivly is goblin caves is now as no one goes for a traditional dungeon crawl within that map any longer and its only used for troll/cyclops/loot pile farming.
If such case were to continue, a bandage fix lower quality loot averages would be applied.
Well nothing to argue about, I think the same. For me if they keep the 12-15 min timer per level then the "Refill" system is terrible. Why would I want to spawn in a game where half the map is already looted, mob are already dead and there is like 7 min left on the timer. That make no sense.
Imo if they want to do something like that then each floor have to be "infinite" with loot and monster respawning like every 5-7 min so new player have thing to do. But if they do that each team need to have it's own timer to force them to leave or go down

Again like hotfix 69, it could have been a good idea but they didn't ask for player feedback before releasing it, didn't used the test server for it and released it with a bunch of other stuff making it look worst than it was. And they're 100% doing the same thing about this Continuous system and the "WIP" sorcerer

They have all the tool they need to make it work but they're not using them and are going to make people hate an idea that could have worked
Filling lower layers
- No chance to do bosses without PvP
- More players in lower levels
- No longer being able to see players from previous layers
- An excuse to try bringing back old Wyvern coop concept
- Game even more PvP focused than already
- No Expressman
My thoughts: We needed more density in lower layers but not this consistent. If players can go down freely this would be less a problem. Also i know you are doing it this way to save resources. I would prefer you find a better way or at least that you cut resources from other things like removing solo/duo/trios matchmaking. Anyways i m skeptic about your decision.

I really don't feel like filling layer, even the lower one, is a good idea. Same as higger player density. This will just end up in infinite loop of third party. If new team appear when a team is killed then the map is always full of player walking on you as soon as you finish a fight or want to fight a boss.
Third party has been one of the thing i've seen people complain about the most recently, and refilling dungeon is obviously going to make that a lot worst

I could be agree with you but not on Dark and darker. Each map last for maximum 15 minute. It's too short for filling in wave. 20/40/60% is like 2-3 minute between each refill. Sometime fight and looting/rez your mate take half the map timer

Because they're doing a matchmaking for each floor, no more small waiting room so no more expressman (that's dumb as fuck because expressman was here to help about the overload of loot due to the 3 layer, and this issues is still here)
There is also players that don't want to enter a game in a different map because there is no solo matchmaking. Its all about trade-offs.
Imo the perfect things for expressman would have been to make him a In game NPC that you can found in the dungeon

No, that for me entering started dungeons is a price i would pay but not all people, like map rotation's highs and lows.

I really really hope it'll only be for the first layer. Otherwise new player/chill player will have a very very hard time enjoying Inferno or Ice abyss with half the timer to clear room and find an exit
And most importantly, imagine you want to do the boss, you spawn at the start of the timer so you know there is 2 other team with you in inferno. You find and manage to kill the 2 team fast enough to do the boss after that. Refill mean than while you're killing the boss an other team can spawn in Inferno and "Third-party" your team while you'r doing the boss or looting the gold hoard. That's terrible
They could play a global bell sound for each team that have entered the layer. This way you can know each wave (Z%/Y%/X%), 2 bells at minute 3 means 2 more teams.

I think so too. Imo Refill just sound like a terrible idea, especially how they're going to introduce it. But if it's necessary for server cost etc then ok but at least pls test it before releasing it to live server. On a feature that big, that change the game that much they need, they have to use the test server to avoid all the obvious mistake that could be found and avoided by letting people play it for a few day

I really really hope that December 5th when they release the Steam DLC to buy the legendary version on Steam they'll also release the test server for steam player and let us try this new Continuous dungeon and maybe the WIP Sorcerer so we find bugs and fix obvious issue before the wipe
You shouldn't, dev think like you because no one use it but if they've actually used it and added feature that make people want to use it many issues could have been avoided especially the Hotfix 69, it could have been tested and improved to something really good but because they released it that way they just ended up reverting it

The more and more I think about it, the more I hope that IM develops a way to temporarily seal the boss room while it's being fought. It's fine if pvp happens while fighting normal mobs... but the boss room, especially with the 'continuous dungeon', would be a lot healthier of a space if you could focus on it. The doors would open again 5-10 seconds after boss death or the death of the player fighting it, allowing people to still come in and challenge them for the winnings, but the door-seal mechanic would make it so that people would actually kill the boss. Otherwise people just continuously back out/ reenter the boss room as they lose hp, then heal back up to re-engage the enemy players - which often results in the boss resetting, or just not being engaged with by the players, both of which are bad.
Delete instant transform on druid or give it to warlock as well

The SK in demon throne should have like 1/10 odds to give people a reason to check out hell, its so dumb that its a 50/50 chance to eather get the layout were you can use the SK, or u get the layout were the SK spawn 1/1000 times, doesnt seem right to me

Why isn't arena open 7days a week? I legit just don't play during the week because it isn't open. Only so many times you can farm AP and die to 3rd partying druids/rogues in solos.

The dev talked about that in the last Q&A and said that Arena isn't as popular that most player seems to think and that even with the actual system of locking it to weekend only (which is the player count peak and build up a hype for it) there is actually not a lot of people in Arena. Not enough to allow 1v1 or 2vs2 arena, not enough to even apply the "1 class per team" rule that they wanted to use
There is reason behind thing like that, they're clearly not the best dev but they're not totally dumb too, most decision is made after testing thing or because they can't do otherwise
The game is fucking dead because it has no content! What kind of dungeon crawling PvE game only has skeletons and goblins? Fuck me the most boring enemy types imaginable.
The rotating maps are annoying, merchants and stash space are annoying, enemy types like spider mummies are just annoying as fuck with no challenge.
Why don't you look to dark souls for your fundamental game mechanics. Why don't we have a dodge roll button? Crouching to avoid attacks feels really bad!
Then there is the issue of gold. Why does leaving a 45min hell run only get me like 400g of treasure? Cool now I can buy potions/bandages/arrows for my next run . Maybe? Like why are consumables so expensive and the loot gained per run so shit? It's like the developers design the game around the sweaty no life 1% who can do all the bosses already.
I got my brother to hop on (he adores worlds like DnD), he had 1 game as a barb, got pissed off about the healing system and just uninstalled.. don't blame him I will after this weekend. Game is designed for people with nothing but free time not casuals and being good at this game doesn't look fun. Gg I'm out
Goblins caves really is a shit map, boring as fuck. Ice map is fun, good lighting but fucking hell why is there only 1 chest per room with like 30skeletons? Castle map gets the vibe of the game and is my favourite, unfortunately you can't play that map without being spawn rushed by McCheesy Sweatballz 1minute after game starts. Game absolutely sucks for newplayers and veterens but is alright for people with like 20-100hours.

i just learned to kill troll / cyclops, and getting money hasn't been an issue since.
i either get 600g from the pile, or 1-2k from the boss drops
(could be even more depending on troll pelt market price)
although, i did spend some time to learn the spectral knight yesterday, and i have to agree some of the ducking to dodge feel pretty bad, as they don't register fast enough or don't work at all in some cases. Feels pretty bad, but i wouldn't mind it if it worked properly

i almost wish mobs had some kind of answer to you sitting out of reach of them, hunt remedys this by having the mobs make a boat load of noise at you, but their pve is more of just an enviormental hazard, and not a loot source generally

add a wizard passive where he plays a minigame when resting like matching magic or something and every time he does it successfully he gets a little boost to gain his spells faster

Okay so I paid for the game on Blacksmith. I moved over to Steam and now i am forced to stay on Steam, but there is no way to access the Public Test Servers to play while the game is updating. Is the Public Test Server not something I PAID FOR originally???? no one else gets access except for the loyal customers of the game? This is pretty upsetting that i cant get a service that is included in the paid game and i was forced to choose either steam or blacksmith as my platform. Dont get how they decide what should be buffed or nerf'd atp, the only times they really make big changes that has a general positive outlook are usually due to mass-complaints from the previous patches. Why not simply make a census for statistics instead of expecting your community to call you lobotomised to THEN finally get a decent change with something behind it.
