What's even the point of blocking as a solo fighter? I would get it with a team since they can range while you defend. But I just tested it with a friend and even with the counter attack perk and the arming sword with the starter shield if I block a falchion they still get to hit me first. BOC is an abbreviation of Blow Of Corruption, warlock skill that makes your next hit do extra magic damage

and yes i used this most recently last wipe but it hasnt been in the patch notes so I assume it still works. but if you are holding m2 and your shield hasnt been hit, you can press m1 and it will drop your shield and attack. if you do that very slightly before an attack hits your shield you will block the attack and drop your shield at the same time. it is essentially a perfect parry

My main character (Bard) can't complete the mimics and money quest, I've killed over 80 mimics every time I join a new raid the quest goes to 0/15 and resets. I've completed it in my cleric but I don't want to reset and make a new bard because he has 2 stash pages and I've completed the gold ingots and ruby silver/ cobalt quest

when you first make a new character you can only get matched with people under level 15, they could still be good players on a new character but they wont be as geared or have all the perks. Also "normal" lobbies have gear capps so you cant get destroyed by someone in high level gear

Why the hell would any dumb dev think it's a good idea to create a quest that requires 15 kills of, when there are only 3 you could possibly kill on the map and you have a garbage map that nobody plays other than to kill the monsters on the quest list?

I understand that the dev team has a very small collective IQ, this is their first game, how is there not a single person the team that raises their hand to simply say "Hey, we have 10,000 average players (which is steadily dropping due to dumb shit like this), maybe we shouldn't piss off who is left with a horribly put together quest. Maybe we should add a few of that monster type to the map so it isn't a horribly structured quest."

And let's really shine a light on how bad the quest is. Let's make one of the spawned monsters automatically walk into a trap before anyone can kill it. OMG that sounds like the best idea. Let's make the quest a little harder through poor game design.

It's hard to say. I mean the go-to could be driver updates, resolution scaling (turn it down to 100% instead of 200). Particle effects are heavy but shouldn't be wrecking a 1060
