Also the strength of wizard's damaging spells is more along the lines of a sorcerer they plan to release in the future and they will probably nerf the damage of wizard at some point. My interpretation is that sorc is going to be full glass cannon on damage with little to no utility and wizard will have less damage but will have like invis and stuff for util

No confirmation on skill trees. And I think you mean the 1st level since what is available now is the second and 3rd floor. but no to that as well since the cave troll is its own map.
We do have the first test of the quest system, a cleaner trade post and better npc trading, a few new skill and spells (for what classes we don't know yet), and a few quality of life changes as well.

Its a strong class but it has decent enough drawback that I wouldnt say it is op. the only problem I had with wizard was it was stepping too much into what should have been the rogues skill territory. Being able to do more burst damage than a rogue with more range to be covered by invisibility it just didnt feel right to me. Other than that I got no problems with wizard.

A: Well, first because of the Next Fest, we might need to release this next playtest as a Demo. The requirement is that you have to release a Demo version of the game, so the process is actually going to be a bit different, we wanted it to be just a small update but because of the Next Fest, what’s going to happen is that on the sixth, the Stress test starts at 10AM on the 6th PST on Monday. We’re going to actually release our Demo, six hours earlier. What you will do is just go to our steam page, and there’s going to be a “Download Demo” or “Launch Demo” button. I like being a little ranged pest in melee games but I mostly love going in as hard as possible or just being aggressive in general

so my first thinking is barbarian and archer

Ranger(archer) sounds like the class for you then. they can use rapiers and also have a perk that lets them use a spear which is one of the deadliest melee weapons in the game with some insane poking range

fighter can also use bows/melee they are more of a jack of all trades though. Barbarian is super fun you can use a felling axe and one shot most classes with a well timed head tap

Yes there will be a need for new download, but if you still have previous Playtest files, you can copy the old content to the new "demo" folder and you can verify the files/cache in Steam and then it should only download the new files

It was resolved after closing rivatuner. so if you have frame limiters for games that dont do well above 190fps like Apex, it seems to crash this game
