I would like to see a text channel for Russian-speaking players...
a channel for asking for help would be cool if we could add that
i'm stuck for upgrading level from 40-60 and idk what to do ..
Choose RU role
CHECK id:customize
let us pin or at least make a thread in topic, pls
I can’t seem to find the Japanese channel that I was able to view before.
Was it removed due to some issue, or is there an additional setting I need to enable?
I’d appreciate it if you could let me know what the situation is.
It was already set to Japanese, but switching the language to English once from “Channels & Roles” and then changing it back to Japanese fixed the issue.
I found someone on X who had the same problem, and they shared how to fix it!
Select the Japanese role from the Channels & Roles under server banner
Hello, good evening. I wanted to make a suggestion. It would be great if I could watch the story mode cutscenes again; they are beautiful and full of emotion. The Endfields team could create a gallery like that.
Need a channel to post all the memes
can we have devices roles tag?
because when i want to help player i had to wait for them to answer what device are they using
idk if it’s been suggested yet, but maybe a channel to show the version’s chartered headhunting banners with local timestamps and the banners’ possible operators list (for the limited chars featured in each banner)
Can we have more Snowshine emotes? She's currently starving due to climate change. If you guys don't add them, she'll die please.
#help message can we have this image pinned in #help i'm posting it every 1min
it's node 6 mission and i just wanna say "see pins" rather than find my old screenshot
or try do "From emma, see image" and see what i mean heh
I wish there was a help channel other than "tech-support" because I'm so confused with this game and have to resort to main chat
#help exist
For goodness sake, please change the settings of the Bot inside the #lore-room . It disrupts the chat experience due to how much it spams. Limit it to appear less frequently, maybe once every 50 messages or so rather than after every single message. The channel is more bot messages than actual user messages at this point.
Thank you.
#aic-factory check Channels & Roles under server banner or make sure u turned on the SHOW ALL CHANNELS from server setting
No
You can see that even with the spam, people still won't read and post gacha in lore anyway
And actually bot messages get deleted every single repost so doesn't affect the channel
When will VC's be open? and will streaming be allowed?
#help #team-build #theorycrafting #aic-factory #1461542035617091681 did you read the bot suggestion before posting here?
Next month
I have a question, Since a large number of Asian players are on the NA server and blueprints aren't cross-server, would it be possible to add a NA Sharing channel to the Chinese section?
I mean the tradicional chinese section most of the people share the blueprint for asia server but have amount of player that are playing in america/europe
like we need two section to share blueprint, one for asia, and the other for america/europe
Oh, thanks, I don't know why I couldn't see that channel before.
Sure, thanks.
Did you even select the ZHT role?
What do you even mean, just edit the messages to reply
Soon
If that's what you mean, then #1461542035617091681 exist
Make sure uve enabled the Show All Channels on the server settin
We need a channel for all the redeem codes
Ty I didn’t know it was a channel I had to add
Can we increase the chance of stepping on a landmine?
日本語のチャットって無くなったのでしょうか・・・?
Pick JP role from id:customize
please make help channels for general, factory, endgame, build and tech issue
or even just just one help channel is better, clears up general
Please make a Filipino language channel huhu
Did you read the BOT stickied message?
No French Channel ?
Add more tags for #1461542035617091681 like [Meds], [Battery], [Valley], etc. Helps filter and specify the type you need.
Have u checked the Channels & Rules and picked the FR role?
Discord has really ruined a lot. Ages ago, people could easily see all channels. now they made it so everyone is always asking about how to see them.
can we get some cleanup in #1461653979862925498 ? A lot of stuff in there now is basically what should be in #tech-support or #help and it’s overtaken genuine feedback discussions. it’s getting confusing.
Can we have a seperate channel for cosplay?
Thanks, I didn't notice...
Add a channel under the chats category for media. Like a secondary general chat but with image perms for everyone not just beta testers. Its so weird to restrict both images and embed perms to beta testers only when all you have to do is create a second channel. Main chats wont get flooded with media if you just make a designated media channel
Beta Testers don't have image perms, there is literally already an #endfield-art channel, #scenery-captures channel, #help #team-build #theorycrafting #aic-factory #1461542035617091681 #salt-mine-gacha-flex etc where u can post image related to your questions as long as they follow the channel designated used
Will there be a room where we can put up our own blueprints via discord?
Could you make blueprints channel for asia and NA/EU separate as we cant copy across regions
Use the tag function
Yes, but i dont see any French Channel nowhere... 😮
I suggest make a music channel
Hear me out first make it so that we can get the music of endfield downloadable so we can use it on our playlist.. i also want to listen the login music on repeat.
And theres more other reasons to make a music channel like people submitting their own or discussing about endfield music like in the trailers
(Ping me or reply to this is appreciated when replying to me)

#1458296451099787304 message
yes there is #help and you can post images in there.
guides is not for everyone to post in.
i have a suggestion what if we add a way players can share there factory blueprints players can make them as complicated or as simple as they want.
I have a suggestion, can we divide #friend-id-na-eu between server of NA+EU and asia?
Scrolling throughout it to find UID that shared same server with me is quite annoying, some of them also already full as well
Hey Skipper buddy, we need a meme channel. You can correct me if this entire server is just about shitposts though.
Can users turn off the bot spam that happens everytime someone posts? Its disorienting.
hi
I have some questions I'd like to ask
It seems we haven't been granted permission to create a voice channel; we cannot use it
We hope to play End of the World together and actively discuss the game content
We hope you can help us solve this problem
#vc-guidelines
Next month when we have less traffic, because currently people wil stream anything other than endfield instead
Give me a way to auto farm rare materials

Why does this channel exist and if posting anything there results in a ban then why give the permission to send messages?
Just read it, nvm '_'
i think we should have a channel for oc art (original creator art), and one for things we find online. :)
Did you even read the message in that channel?
Plz plan on giving media perms back to everyone soon or making a media channel that way even if u have to moderate it, it’s all in one place. Every other gacha server like wuwa and zzz even NIKKE have image perms for everyone. I get it might have been a problem during release when channels were getting flooded but increase ur mod team if u have to and allow images. I suggest a media channel and a ranking system requiring you to rank up before posting images in other channels like endfield general and such
edit
Also PLZ make a rule and make it a mutable offense to spoil the story in any channel that isn’t #lore-room without clearly marking it as a spoiler
Vietnamese (or any second language) in my opinion should be fully seperated into another category. This reduces weirdness as you wont see english and second language's annoucement channels mixed
I think it's cute that you think I'd fall for that buddy
Did you select the VN role in id:customize? Or the pinned bot comment in here?
It is warnable, report it using the report button by right clicking the mssage > apps > flag for moderator review.
And when did ZZZ, Nikke, and other gacha game released? Years ago? The image perms will stay disabled until the traffic to this server died down, as the channel got spammed with NSFW images a lot.
how do i unlock channels? right now i can't see anything in game-news, it tells me i need admin permission
see that message above ^ also check channels and roles at the top of the server
Recruit some real tech support for #tech-support
Let people apply for a role or smth, then people will know who to actually listen to there
Edit: also add a tech-faq channel; can just copy the current pinned messages in #tech-support
image channel for arknights (stuff that hasn't been captured with the ingame camera) or / and channel for non arknights related? or at least a level system that unlocks the permission to send media in #endfield or / and #off-topic so we can actually be a community and share stuff
blueprint sharing channel pls
E.F.S. is really jarring in the lore channel and makes it quite a pain to keep up with conversation, as the messages jumping around really mess with you
Why no memes channel
Guide channel please, i need to some sub base defense risk guide
Is there a link for edmins to link to Discord? I know players can link through the launcher on PC what about non PC users. Is there a link where we can link our account to discord Aurthorization App. Not sure if that make sense
its not showing for me
Did i do something? All of sudden in the general chat my text is grayed out🤔
can mods here please re-inforce what each channels are meant for and to add cooldown of at least 15sec in #help ? there's too much chatting instead of asking/answer channel
I cant progress game because of bugs i report for email but any reports for me please check my bug
1.i play 2-1 story and move to worp 4th world and start guide
2.the guide is press t to learn new study for program
3.but any keys are work on page and i cant do anything
Can we get a 2nd general chat, even if it's temporary for the launch period? 1 minute cooldown is brutal for having a conversation.
Can i have this emoji
as a PNG or JPG?
find it in #958720995353575464
you should add a poll channel weres there like a daily poll
So far this is the worst idea after meme channel
Thank you for fixing the bug that punished the boot without reason; it's perfect in my opinion.
@outer veldt
Hi, I’d like to report a message in the Endfield feedback channel where someone is encouraging others to intentionally use a known exploit bug for Ember’s combat.
This seems against fair play / ToS and could negatively affect testing data. I wanted to flag it so the team is aware. Thanks.
https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1465309909511049246

#958720995353575464 did you perhaps.. check?
The feedback responses are great in here
please Watch over the Lore-room It's full of people insulting each other right now
Could we get a 2nd enfield chat since the main is always being spammed. Either by A new members asking the same FAQ questions. And or B by members all talking about different topics at the same time. Its nearly impossible to follow any conversation happening
can Boosters possibly have no/less slowmode and mayyyybe image perms
can we have patchnotes for game updates?
No
please let #1461542035617091681 thread owners pin messages, its becoming a problem since theres so much discussion in the bigger threads.
Did you know that Pin permissions for Forum are not specific to post owner? Meaning people can troll by unpinning?
Permissions added, but beware of trolls.
Any kind of role to pin messages in #help or a Timely message that says to search in the discord search in the channel first?
We should have a endmin yuri channel! its creation is of upmost importance!!!
No
Can we have a blueprint-creator role to bypass the slowmode? Personally I make a lot of blueprints for sharing so it would be nice.
No
this is the best game ever!
Hope they add this game on GeForce now so some low end devices or other people that wanna have max graphics and smooth run to play this and have fun
this channel is for discord feedback not the game.
ZHS (Simplified Chinese) category
Did you perhaps check the stickied message? Or channels & roles under the server banner?
Include clue trading in #elastic-goods-trading or make a new channel for it
Use #friend-id-na-eu
I recommend seeing a doctor to check your vision. For additional tags I added item specific and area specific according to suggestion
A thing that I think Staff need to know, #1329461371552665641 , isn’t available to everyone.
Intended, VC will open later after traffic to server slowed down
Zipline spots channel? I found a few good ones that I could share
Galera eu tenho game no PC mas diz q meu PC n e compatível e pode travar alguma dica pra melhorar desempenho?
Dunno why I can't post pics in certain channels, but it's very annoying.
EDIT: OK so found out they reserved pic sharing to only mods in ALL the chat channels, and gave us ZERO pic/video sharing channels. Good way to kill your player retention. Pretty much every game discord has channels for all that stuff for a reason.
can we PLEASE get rid of the deliberate misnfo in the lore channel put it in the channel desc its so annoying
No
Feedback noted, I apologise if it comes off as rude.
But did you take the time to read the forum tags? Because even on mobile you can see the "Tags" drop down on the top right.
I admit it is my mistake for expecting people to read the sticky message and existing channel features, I will set my expectations even lower in the future
Zipline and Relay Routes/Placing channel?
Can we have a second general chat where posting images* is allowed?
Maybe a forum channel for individual character discussions? (Builds, gameplay, guides, etc?)
forum channel for characters would be great and zipline channel pls
A clue exchange channel would be nice to at trade a clue both sides needed
make a channel for discussing strategy/team builds/gear and such, just #endfield aint cutting it 😔
I guess that's what #team-build is for, you're posting right after it being mentioned ^
I have a forum suggestion - there's THREE separate posts about the story in #1461653979862925498 right now going on at once - can we please lock the 2 that are less busy (and link to the most busy one when doing so), and keep it confined to the biggest one?
I only ask this because there's a lot of important feedback going on about several kinds of things - factory, gameplay loop, progression, various technical issues (esp with crashing), controls and keybinds, the gacha pity, etc etc, but having 3 or more busy posts all about the same thing really just messes with keeping up with the forum. It's not really well organized at the moment and it pushes these other discussions further down. Thanks if this is being considered.
suggestion to change #salt-mine-gacha-flex to #endfield-screenshots since there are also other things to flex like factory gains, damage per screenshot, clear times for endgamemodes, etc
something like help channels get sent with nonrelated images that is not exclusive to gacha pulls
Suggestion Have a team build channel
Skipper any thoughts on this?
Question Channel would be useful maybe
Suggestion to add meme channel
No, as the current huge influx of traffic will slow down eventually, just ping me if anything needs to be pinned. If no one would read pins, what makes you think people will read #tech-faq?
Hello, i'd love to give a suggestion for the "elastic-goods-trading" chat, it would be better if there were two, one for na/eu and one for asia, I think it would be better for both servers so they don't have to constantly look out for wrong server region
Faster belts would be better, at least for the simulations, becouse they take forever with the super spaced out factories
In #endfield-art rephrase "Posting AI-generated images while [as well as] presenting them as original artwork is strictly prohibited anywhere on the server."
Add a channel solely for Dijiang's set up. so we can post and talk about the best combos for factory and planting
add arabic chat please
If you wish for a language to be added, you can react to this message with the flag of the corresponding country.
#1465199714071744523 message
If it gets enough reactions, it might be added.
What 'enough' means I don't know, but I guess it's for the moderators to decide.
where are the patchnotes?
The #elastic-goods-trading channel is shockingly inefficient with the template provided, it is absolutely miserable to try to visually identify the right price on the right item that also matches your server. There should honestly just be two channels (an NA/EU and an Asia elastic goods channel) so people can use the discord search and then have the template include a space to identify high sale prices of items manually in text form so that the search works
could a bot be made for a reminder to log in on skport for the daily rewards
but, there's nothing about todays patch still 🤔
Blueprint sharing stays after event
There should be a goofy version of #endfield where we make waifu/husbando tier lists of whatever category
It would also give a home to the debate about the appropriate lubricant for perlica
So basically it's a channel where we have silly conversations about the characters
Give us image perms or a channel, waiting it out is understandable but why do other languages like JP chats have image perms but we dont this is racism /j
fr tho if you want to not give us image perms because of someone posting inappropriate media, all someone has to do is give themselves access to those other language chats and they can spam all the media they want. If you are confident in your moderation team if anything like that happens we can ping the entire mod team role for a quick response. I also think the server has been quiet enough to warrant image perms or a media channel
There should be a channel for clue exchange for both NA/EU and asia server so that everyone can trade clue papers from dijiang 1:1 for extra 400 friend credits
I think with an open world game there should be one big map, not like six segments, it so annoying switching between them nonstop
need VC
нужны войсы
玩終末地時更新google play PC版的方舟會跳game
Ban/Warn those who trolling others to post in #do-not-post-or-get-beaned.
maybe forum format elastic goods trade channel?
add tags to easily filter eu/na and asia
and/or wuling and valley
cause now i need a lot of money for wuling but barely anyone posts it and on top of that its hard to find
how do i create voice
#endfield-art message make this an emoji
Can we get this picture pinned on #aic-factory ?
Picture: #help message
Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/Endfield/comments/1qo6cr5/pc_player_caplocks_esc_esc_caplocks/
Game crashed after defeating the main boss aggeloi
Is this the channel where I can ask for help?
Listen if we cannot use the valley 4 construction on wuling, then make an auto filter, that when we change the region the quick construction option change automatically
add a ticket bot
modmail doesn't seem like it does anything
can we get a channel dedicated to clue exchange?
In the channel #elastic-goods-trading , could the helper message also mention to mention that person's best selling item? It's honestly hard to navigate that chat, having to open up every image, looking for their best price. It would be nice if it was already in text version. Some people already do it, it would be nice to encourage everyone to do it.
Something like:
UID:
Server:
Best Item: <ItemName> Price: <Percentage>
Screenshot of your Elastic Goods Price:
Any code
@pallid oriole @mild hound this channel is called discord feedback not game feedback
@slate shore i agree with you but only because i don’t feel safe with modmail. having to open up your dms in a huge server is not good. a ticket bot lets you just immediately contact the mods directly in a private server channel and you’re not using some bot to do a back and forth DM.
I don't use discord much and i don't understand all this bot thing well. I thought someone might pass the feedback to the developers but ig not
The #help channel goes by very fast and it seems like it's very easy for peoples' questions to get overlooked or have 5 people respond to it at the same time.
Maybe there should be multiple channels for different kinds of help, e.g. #help-explore, #help-factory, #help-combat, #help-general (leave #aic-factory for general discussion and optimization)
can we have an Q & A section ?in the server?
all chanels where i can ask a question, i never getn an answer
Remove the landmine system. It’s funny at times, but it’s also annoying and unnecessary. Random people shouldn’t be getting timed out unless they did something wrong.
I would like to see at least one more help channel. With how active the game is right now, it's easy to have your question be lost without anyone answering it.
First of i want to say i like the game and hope it succeeds and because of that i would like to suggest some things that in my opinion could help with player retention on the long run:
- removing the constant "connection timed out please log in again" bug
- on rate up banner can we separate the 120 hard pity from the pity to next 6 star. So if someone 2 hard pity (losing 50/50) on a banner at least they can have their build up pity for next 6 star without resetting it
- having standard banner tickets placed in the aic quota part in the shop
- a road map would be nice with rewards and game modes shown so people can plan ahead on what they can get in case they don't intend or can't pay
- remove sanity usage permit and let people adjust how much stamina they want to use freely with a slider. protocol space fights are tedious and boring and the sanity permits cost too much and their existence is more of a hindrance then a help. this old system where you can only use up to 2 times of your stamina per fight needs to go so people who have less time per day to game can finish their farming quicker
- boosting rewards in protocol spaces
- boosting sanity recovery
Endfield’s gacha system is not structured around player retention through sunk-cost pressure. Players who disengage over the Spark system were likely already experiencing a broader mismatch with the game’s design priorities.
The intensity of the backlash appears to stem less from the mechanics themselves and more from expectations imported from powercreep-driven gacha ecosystems. In those environments, pity accumulation is a defensive necessity because characters are frequently invalidated, base rates are extremely low, and banners are segmented in ways that penalize loss outcomes. Endfield’s model differs in several key respects: limited characters share a banner, loss outcomes can still yield limited units, and the system is oriented toward long-term roster viability rather than rapid replacement.
Within the EN community, this expectation mismatch is amplified through two reinforcing mechanisms. First, content creation ecosystems are structurally incentivized to prioritize comparative and alarmist framings, which perform better algorithmically than mechanical analysis. Second, once these framings enter community discourse, they propagate laterally through player-to-player repetition, summaries, and secondhand explanations. Over time, the narrative becomes self-reproducing, often independent of direct exposure to the original sources or to the underlying mechanics themselves.
As a result, much of the discourse evaluates Endfield’s gacha through assumptions that do not align with its design philosophy. This does not invalidate player frustration, socially transmitted expectations are still real expectations, but it does explain why perceptions of the Spark system diverge sharply between players accustomed to balance-oriented gacha models and those conditioned by powercreep-centric ones.
Is there a reason why image perms are disabled in #off-topic and #endfield ?
quote from Skipper
"The image perms will stay disabled until the traffic to this server died down, as the channel got spammed with NSFW images a lot."

Is there any ETA for guides in #guides-bulletin #general-guides-archive #event-guides

🙏
maybe make a channel for blueprints
Guys I want to complain about a soft lock
Mods, can we have #help to be a default role channel instead of ppl having to go to id:customize to find it?
part 2 of my suggestions bcs discor word count:
- wuling artificing catalyst price needs to be cut because it takes ages to max gear after the initial stock is gone
- either boosting how much xiranite the sky forges makes or removing the limit of how many we can have or at the least let us place down 1 or 2 more
- rearranging rewards for new players so if they want they can pull on rate up banner faster and no need for them to skip the story and be stressed about the time limit. as i said people with lower game hour per day might not even start this game because they might not be able to get enough currency to pull on the banner before banner goes away
- an overall boost in pull economy would be nice
- sky kings flat construction site outpost xp tracking so we can level it up when level restriction gets removed
- using planting machines to get rare variants of the plants and to farm plants like ginseng not just to use the field for those
- unstuck button in cease we get stuck in over world so we don't need to teleport (if it's even possible at the time) out than walk back there
- scenario restart in quest dungeons for example i just got a bug where Yvonne's drones didn't placed down the last bridge because of that i need to restart the whole dungeon
It's already default
Unstuck is in settings lmao
If it hasn't been suggested already, using discord events to track the current and future announced head hunting banners and limited time events can be a relatively low effort way to keep ppl informed of updates.
Actually. Information on [.landmine] would be greatly helpful. it works at specific times but also at times it doesn’t. Afterall, Endfield’s fields must be filled to the brim with landmines.
.landmine 1
✅ Set 1 landmine(s) for this channel!
Users now have a 0.8% chance for 1 minute, 0.1% for 5 minutes, 0.01% for 10 minutes, 0.001% for 15 minutes, and a 0.0001% chance for 1 month mute when stepping on a landmine when sending messages! 💥
There's the info
why did the trading channel was archive. And resort to it being a thread channel.
When do us Sigma Testers and John Endfielders get our own channel
Maybe a meme channel
Second "general endfield" channel with image perms, would help to reduce the speed without a major cd and ppl can pick the one they prefer
Because if you try scrolling up a lot of people asked to separate between servers to make it easier to look for trade partners. Plus its better to have it in a forum instead of 6 separate channels
Kindly add a discord channel or link where I can learn about the ost/music used in game
eg: music played during Zhuang Fangyi introduction
I found a very minor UI bug in the talent/combat node screen
A photography event here in the Discord, letting other Endministrators share their in-game photography skills for a chance to win prizes
this might be unrelated, idk if this is channel specific thing, but currently with the "ch-ing" cluster banned, a lot of people in #help are getting their messsages restricted because of verbs containing that cluster like etch-ing or anything like that, which are extremely common.
I understand the reasoning behind it, but shouldn't it be a separate word ban only because with the way it currently is, it's quite inconvenient for many people.
1 minute cooldown in English chats when its midnight is just absurd, and English chats are still the ONLY language chats that dont have media perms. Fix ur server
(also 1 minute is the same length as stepping on a landmine, so what is even the point of that, literally no rsn. Making it harder to communicate in ur server doesnt do anything, just get a better moderation team
)
There should be an 'elevated' chat with the following attributes:
-
only members who have been part of this server for at least 6 months can access it
-
those members get img and gif perms for that channel only
-
people who have not been in this server long enough do not get access to view the channel at all
either separate spoiler channels for valley iv and wuling (i know #lore-room is there but i'm suggesting separate channels for these region for more focused discussion) OR
a no spoiler rule in the server/stricter no spoiler rule (i.e. telling people that they have to use ||this|| for spoilers or that they would get punished for spoiling the game) because people are casually spoiling new endmins of the game and i find that it's not fair especially if the spoilers are unwarranted.
Can we put the bot that was posting the reminder in #elastic-goods-trading on the new threads, like #1467502055340904601?
Skipper give me media perms I want to share my favorite Minecraft parodies
fixed
Will try to make it work, rn stickymessage dont work with forum/thread
edit: done
Can you make the reminder also include the Best Item: <ItemName> Price: <ItemPrice> part that is on the sticky note?
Lol i forgot about that, will update it
Request sticker
Where are the codes? Could you add a section for them?
Players being very helpful on this Discord, I suggest to add forum for people to add their guide.
Would love to see some guide like what to craft on factory for each stage of the game and some operator builds guide.
Guys, is this normal? Today, the game loads my CPU 3 times at random moments. My CPU is pretty good. Usually, there is a 20-30 percent load, but here it is 60-70, which causes the CPU to overheat and the PC to make noise.
We have off topic but still no image perms, another reminder every language channel except english has image perms, fix ur server
How to!!!!
@ancient anvil @kind owl the name of this channel is discord feedback, nothing to do with the game. use #help #tech-support
add a channel dedicated to posting and comparing optimized daily routines, here is an example of mine:
(note that I am still progressing in the story)
! daily log in rewards
> sell goods to outposts
+ do sanity challenges
> owl goods PASS
> owl goods QUARRY
> owl goods HUB SOUTH
> quick robots scan mission
> complete daily tasks
> visit pass to check rewards
> owl goods HUB CENTER
> owl goods PARK WEST
> depot node delegate
> depot node delivery x3
! owl goods PARK EAST
> owl goods HUB EAST
> check elastics
+ buy sub-optimal to make room for tomorrow limit replenishment
> buy optimal (< 50%)
> sell to optimal friend (> 500%)
+ hold if sell is sub-optimal
> boost friend dijiang
+ boost friend dijiang (if doing another stock sell)
> return to own dijiang
> gather production resources
> refresh production needs
> apply friend boosts
> withdrawal arsenal market credits
> spend credits until sub threshold
+ sell goods to outposts
10% chance for 5 seconds landmine
[Suggestion] Add a channel/news specifically for roadmap only
*Edit
Not a lot of poeple know what's all the command, well its just easier for people to access/see it without spamming bot too
Command instead
.roadmap
Hello!!! Idk if this was suggested before...:
Team-build gets clogged so easily
Channels for each character
- Singular #team-build channel posts get ignored easily when too many are chatting
- other fighting games do it, incentivises players having a "main"
- Discussion has an immediate topic being that character and the other supporting team members that make them shine
I humbly ask, please add Lappland to Endfield
Do we have a timeline or pinned message for when we can make/join Voice Channels? Also can I please have sigma?
Another reminder every language channel except english has image perms, fix ur server or js make it something you can apply for if you plan on waiting a damn year to give perms cuz ur "trusted" people with the role is just a random handful of people you dont even monitor what they send. There is already image spam and odd images, the role doesn't do anything but gatekeep and make communications lame, especially when trying to send something game-related
Add a channel to share videos.
.avocado
the devs dont see that theres a lack of materials "farmable " in wuling ?
different channel for bug/game issue reporting than game feedback of what people "want" to see changed.
I have experience with actual game issues that immediately get covered up in the game feedback channel because, naturally, its not something most people will know about or care to talk about
can we add to the bot?
Source Art : [X] @Yuqi_non
Request sticker (photo not mine tho)
How about adding a kill ban counter for https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1463349084172849264 channel
It's alr a command via .dump
Hiya again. So, it seems your change didn't stick on the bot, it's still posting the old message without the best item bit
Because not updated yet
#1461653979862925498 is not for the people, it's main purpose is for the staff to collect feedback
Why does this server not allow vc and screen sharing. This could be so much better to help people with factory and discuss it
This is a decent suggestion, a lot of gaming discords have this. It could just be a new forum so it's a list of posts and not a bunch of channels.
I'll make a thread for each 6-star char
Not sure if 5-star and 4-star need them?
so... I should just assume its being seen regardless of its presence in that particular channel?
Yes, staff actually do collect feedback from #1461653979862925498. Most urgent ones like game breaking bugs etc gets forwarded immediately by the moderation staff.
pls make a memes channel
hello! looking forward to this if it wasn't made already!
@outer veldt sorry for ping, but think my game is heading into the past
put battery inside?
I was a little surprised that the Asus laptop had an I5-6200U CPU, 8GB RAM, and GT930M version 572.83It runs at extremely low settings, getting 20-30fps (the game is quite well optimized and I like that), the only downside is that the CPU runs at 100% when playing in Wuling City.
They post too much reaction pictures in help channels. It is already clogged up as is. And if they post 2 of them the asked question gets lost. My feedback would be for you guys to maybe enforce a suggestion or a rule to stop the people from doing it. It will help the askers.
can we get a role that bypasses slowmode in general? slowmode gets painfully long
#help chat is being used as general chat and there are soo many people using like that making messages of people asking for help fly up
it has slow mode on but .... 5 seconds....and general chat slow mode is 1 min, that's why people are using #help as general chat
make more general chat, reduce slow mode from 1 minute in general chats, timeout people using #help as general chat
This is a superficial vanity request, but, would it be possible to not have the John Endfield role supersede other roles? I miss having Laev with the ice cream as my role icon. I understand if it’s a tall order.

Need VC channel so I can spread zhuang fangyi propaganda
can they make shop messages only viewable to the user of the /shop or other commands?, that how they usually do it to stop clutter in other chats usually in other discords.
I was literally about to suggest the same thing
i think since there’s more than one way to build some characters and more than one team some of them can be in, and esp since not everyone will have everything available (all weapons or every 6* character), it will limit discussion if we don’t include them.
We currently have teams that focus them (Avywenna), and there are two of them that are used often as support options (Antal and Akekuri).
While I don’t know if the game will continue to add low rarity characters, it wouldn’t hurt to currently include posts for them to encourage more/varied discussion and so they won’t interrupt the other posts.
Hii not sure if this is the right place to ask but has anyone encountered a black screen when loading the game from the launcher?
Add: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/137903001

Please and thanks!
try #tech-support
this error is quite weird, I can message in the server normally but not in this blueprint chat?
restart discord
can u add a channel for current events and there starting date and remaining time pls
We need more moderations to keep people in check with their behaviour in the help channel. People are being rude and are getting out of topic handful of the time
If you encoutner these type of people, you can report to moderator by right clicking their message > apps > Flag for Moderator review.
If they are found to be violating the help channel rule, they will be help banned.
I believe every server should have a Morgan Freeman "true..." Emote so I made one for the server! lol
It's pretty useful when you and or multiple agree with someone's message
( If any changes are necessary I'll happily edit it)
could be usefull to have a chat to typo-only "game-feedback". like, is not actually feedback from the gameplay or whatnot, just somethings here and there that get wrong on translation. for exemple, my language, brasilian portuguese, has a lot of typos regarding characters gender on words, so i wish there was a place where i could point it out so future players have them right
server channel/announcement request
a channel dedicated for codes from official sources instead of having to look for 3rd party sites with outdated info
(thank you very kindly skipper)
#1461653979862925498 is exactly for that
Do we have any rules for this kind of chat?
Report to mod by right clicking the message > apps > flag for mod review
Disable perlica bot comands in #endfield
Bluds just spamming ts, so annoying
People are just spamming it for no reason
Make Perlica bot auto mute ppl for calling Lava Cake Leviathan
I think it would be awesome if users produce the landmines instead of them being reloaded by channel by the mods.
Where do ppl check this?
Add discord memes enfield channel
Can we this as an emote?
hello it's possible to have a damage scoreboard for the boss in-game or maybe someone have an addon that doesn't break the guideline?
[Suggestion]
Just remove that temp voice and change it to default discord vc channel, its so hassle to setup just for vc especially when there's people need a quick help/screen share for guide
Role Hierarchy:
The role :1468339847675641929: (I'm new here, say hi!) is under the role :1469756344553705517: (Landmine Hater)
Permaleaf doesn't show for people who bought the landmine hater role :(
No, that's intended
turn every bot slash commands from @Perlica into ephemeral messages; it can be used anywhere outside #bot-spam without bothering any ongoing conversation
additionally, any command returned that require manual input could be made into modal components or simple interactive components, drop-down stuff, this will clear up confusions on "how to use this?" for, an example, /shop command
Could we get a channel where we are allowed to post youtube vids and link reference to it in other chats?
i'm not interested in content creation, nor likes etc. I just wanna show clips like, my re-crisis trim run. a 3min clip etc.
bean/chubby lung role in points shop for 20k that just gives silly bean emoji next to name cause cute please skipper 🙏🏼
I hope can add a fuction, usung point to remove others landmine hater.
It's very nice when private messages influence subreddit rules and are used as a reason to reinforce bans. By the way, there were no leaks either; it was just a discussion about future characters from the game teaser.
This message in the #endfield-art channel should be concistent with the rules in the channel topic section about the use of AI.
From my understanding, AI is not allowed regardless of the circumstance, therefore the message the bot posts should reflect that to make it clearer.
EDIT:
The bot message says that:
"Posting AI-generated images as well as presenting them as original artwork is strictly prohibited anywhere on the server."
Which is technically consistent with the channel topic rules:
"AI art is strictly prohibited."
however a different wording of the bot message would make it clearer that AI art is prohibited, because as of current a lot of people think that AI art is allowed as long as its labelled as such.
I DMd you more information on the matter
add a channel for daily web event that pings, and the web event can be done by pressing a buttoon on a bot
Which part of the bot message is not consistent with the channel rules?
I'll adjust them accordingly
(Can just edit your message to reply)
A zipline sharing channel
make ppl be able to buy random 1 min landmines for points (500-1000 points)
Like a command that landmines one of the recent 10 ppl in the chat.
(1h cooldown so rich whales don't perma mute everyone)
hello 👉👈 could we have more mods in chat?
I just had a thought, can we change #twitterfeed channel name to #twitterfield?
How 1 massage touch 2 landmine
More Avywenna Emojis
Anyway to not get landmined ?
Buy the Landmine Hater role from shop
Luck
But skipper, what happened to the bot with the /points command?
Its been down or broken since the past day, or has it been removed?
I have been trying to work on getting image permissions but the bot hasnt been available to see or check points.
So how do we access the shop then?
END FEILD PLS GET ADDED TO GEFORCE NOW
old points got nuked, we aren't getting any perms
theres so many reactions we need this
Now after the 8th time seeing it, i randomly getting friend request's of people that are part of this Server. I never got into a convo with any of them cause yeah why would i.? Is there anyonelse having this or is there an known issue with DC fake bots.? I have been on Discord for quite a while and similar big one or bigger one and i never had that.
Just ignore
And report to modmail
Is it transparent
unfortunately it is normal for people to go around big servers adding people. mostly to beg for money via commissions or for scams
Remove the .landmine commands they just get spammed in general and it’s the corniest thing ever
Can We get Voice channels? Unless I'm too stupid to use these
Could we please have a general purpose help and guides channel so we can ask questions not covered by the 4 help and guides channels we already have? I am concerned about "wrong channel" accusations.
#help is "umbrella channel" fir general help, and the other channels are more specialized
#team-build is for teams
#theorycrafting is for actual brainstorming
#aic-factory is usually for factory related things + installing structures
you guys can add the following regex to the bots auto-delete phrases so it can prevent the mr beast scam ( and others ). It will only detect a block of text that contains between 3 and 5 valid Discord image URLs, one after the other
(?:\s*https:\/\/(?:cdn\.discordapp\.com|media\.discordapp\.net)\/attachments\/\d+\/\d+\/[^\s\/]+\.(?:jpg|jpeg|png|gif|webp)(?:\?[^\s]*)?\s*){3,5}
yes
Thanks, will try
please set https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1461226667639963688 as read-only please , I can send msgs there somehow
aight now I see it's read-only thx
well it doesnt work lol
Which bot did you added this regex to? Or did you added to the discord auto-mod sys?
Edit: auto-mod > block custom words > use regex, is this right? @outer veldt
default discord automod
@outer veldt (Don't mean much, just a reminder, unless there's some problems with the image that not making it into a good emote.. Can it work as sticker if it's the case?)
put in #958720995353575464
so its not lost in the chat
definitely not as stickr because slot is limited
Yes that one
Were we going to get the dedicated character build forums or nah? Thanks
After a thorough discussion with the moderation team, we decided not to add them since there will be too much character to add down the line.
Can we have a channel for codes?
having a special reaction for #1461653979862925498 that already noted/ reviewed by devs should be exist in here
and that reaction only able to be assigned and used by admin/ mod/ gryphline representative
or create a channel for posting reviewed feedbacks
Stop letting crybabies report legit artists, I am now "image muted" because some false reports and whiners didn't like my artwork. More importantly, I cannot post anymore troubleshooting images in the ACTUAL help forums where I spend 99% of my time.
...what you want moderators do? Remove report button?
If you thinking that you are getting false reported and your permission were stripped away unjustly, there's @wintry mantle I am pretty sure you can DM here with the issue.
Just my bit to the situation, since I cannot actually see your arts due them being deleted, but the fact that 5 different people in two different chats called AI on your art is not coincidence. On top of that, at least one moderator checked on top of it (at least I hope) before removing them. (Usually mods trying to discuss with each other to double check).
And the fact that you don't afraid using AI for other cases doesn't do you any favor in that regard
Where is chinese channel? It disappeared again……
is there a help channel to ask questions?
We should get the ability to create channels for general use instead of just general and off topic. Like how feedback is
Would having forms for element/type builds be more suitable. Like phys, electric, ect?
can we please have a screenshots channel?
Can we please have a 2nd Endfield chat to avoid situations bunch of ppl talking? :D
also this can also reduce the endfield cooldown to 15s too in case
Uhm like I saw some issues in the game. The translation, I did post it but this issues are only for Vietnamese( because idk other language have that issue) Can I tag VN for a better conversation. Like I wanna hear their opinions abt this issues
Sorry bc i didn' t see it
Just go put it in #1461653979862925498
is it not scenic/photo modes only though? not like random screenshots in-game
hey, so, if I have some game feedback that I want to suggest, that would go into the "game feedback" channel, right?
Don't let them know we'll lose our safe space 😭
better to write them an email than in here
Futher will set the role or permit by points for joining the DC VC?
hmmm. somehow i cant create a creator channel in VC. followed the documentation for the tempvoice but somehow it wont work.
might be a permission issue or some sort
Edit: I did authorized the app for my account
from what i know there was an instance where vc was used for viewing nsfw material. we cant enforce obedience so yeah
tho i guess me using VC for arknights stuff(not endfield) was the reason it got locked
@outer veldt .ticklemyamethyst #bot-feedback message
Maybe link sign in to discord? The reverse 1999 has a way to link account to discord, and you can do the daily sign ins on discord instead of separate website
Would like some clarity on making posts in #1465229737642164386
I have already made a post once with no issues for Buck A setup
Trying to make another for my Wuling setup but i keep getting an issue that i'm timed out for "using permissions reserved for mods" when i hit post. Would prefer to not accidentally flag anything with repeated infractions and no clue what to change so i can post.
Message said to message modmail if timeout might be a mistake and i been waiting 6hrs no reply. I'm fine waiting if it's required, but some clarity on expected response time would also be nice. Having modmail bot react ✅ for read and being left on read for hours makes me wonder if i'll get help
If there's something insidious i may accidentally be doing to flag this i wish that would be made clear
UPDATE: Roughly 24hrs no response ig adding detailed info for blueprints is not allowed
1 min cooldown this entire day and still is crazy and during Valentine’s Day, yall don’t rlly love us fr
hi hello yesterday Astra said we can report stuffs through apps > flag for mod review but it seems it's gone now? is this not a thing anymore? any other way we can report stuffs?
How long will I be muted?
where do i report people outside the server? i got a dm from a server member using the server to find people to sell shit to
the feedback category is the only public category for the server in which you cannot report messages, it works everywhere else (excluding two official categories)
Timed out 1min because of this, any issue fix for that?
(content contains hyperlink to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_is_the_best)
@lucid spoke do not do that. although other servers are fine with that, that format can be to form malicious hyperlinks that can be used to do bad stuff
@oak ridge block, report to @wintry mantle . usually theres no immediate "response" but thats prob due to them not having enough manpower to give ya an update, so they leave you on read. they read those messages dw about it
#help is still being used as general chat
timeout people using it like its general chat and increase the timeout each time that same person use it wrong, or just do 1 week or longer timeout straight away so there is less work for u guys
if u guys add a warning people use wrong chat x amount of times its ban or month(s) timeout, it would be better
hm it doesn't show up for me on general chat
click the three dots on the message, go to apps > Flag For Moderator Review, to report the message, it won't work if you right-click to report their discord user
right-clicking on the message itself also works
Hello, why i cant post images in endfield general chat?
You don't have role. You can buy it via point shop in #bot-spam
How do we gain point?
Being active. I've had like 20k points by the time I bought image perms.
why did i get hard mute for this
can ta-ta start their own instagram? edit: sorry i know that's not really discord, idk where else to ask
Help I link wrong email I lost the account
noticed that headers (#) were finally added to the automod for this server along with a few other filters, could we have these rules excluded from less active channels where they aren't often abused?
a few examples are #tech-support, #1461542035617091681, and #1461653979862925498, where guides are frequently posted using these for better clarity, and aren't generally used to disrupt the chat flow
Helper role like in OG Arknights discord
Also to pin this message maybe?
#help message
are locked voice chats temporary?
You used a custom header like this
test
This is a feature reserved for mods only since it has been abused by trolls
Ah makes sense ty. Weird because i added those in my first post to clarify separate parts of blueprint and it worked fine
But thanks to your report, I've turned it on for #1465229737642164386 #1461542035617091681 and #1467500307151065120 where it is needed for posting
No, hyperlinks are used to mask SCAM link
Right click the message, not the user
You used a header formatting, I've enabled the perms for #1461542035617091681

Added
We have decided to not add a Helper role since this breeds elitism
We have plans to add VC perms behind role in the future, purchaseable via points
I appreciate taking the time to answer the question honestly and thank you for the news!
For now, we're not adding it yet since we're waiting for additional moderators to join that can help monitor VC
I don't get how that's a reason behind it.
You guys literally have a bot shop where anyone can buy certain roles, two of which lets you:
- send attachments in general chats
- bypass mutes from landmines
which, by default, creates a disparity between newcomers and said elitism.
From my experience, most of the official gacha game servers have these "helper" roles. For example(refer to screenshots):
- Seelie Guide (Genshin Impact Official)
- Astral Express Navigator (Honkai: Star Rail Official)
- Carrot (Zenless Zone Zero Official)
- Rover's Aide (Wuthering Waves Official).
I don't belive that this creates any elitism.
My suggestion would be to create certain criterias a person has to meet for the role, which are, but not limited to:
- A person haven't gotten any warns
- A person is actively and willingly helping people with their questions about the in-game or technical problems (saying "just google it" doesnt count)
- Isn't rude
I really don't understand how making people who are willingly helping others and are a trusted source of information stand out creates elitism.
The role associated with image permissions primarily grants access for #endfield and #off-topic, where there has been significant traffic and an ongoing issue with unwanted NSFW images posted by trolls.
Additionally, the landmine hater role is there for those that doesn't like the landmine feature.
I don't believe there is elitism in a system where both roles can be acquired by users who have accumulated enough points through their activities.
The system is comparable to the "level up" system on other big servers, with the distinction being gamified behind a shop and points.
To be fair I would prefer having people that are known to be credible to be giving me information
And after a thorough discussion with the moderation staff, we have decided not to implement the Helper role, as we want everyone in the community to have equal grounds when giving advice and help to others. Having the Helper role will only shun people from giving advice and possibly lead to elitism in the future.
We're not another server. Other server can have their Helper role because their Moderator might not have understood the game better, that's fair. But our Moderators are specifically vetted from people who played the original Arknights game, so they have a better understanding of the Arknights community as well as a better understanding of the game mechanics and lore to further avoid spreading misinformation. Right now, they are also slowly learning the Endfield game mechanic itself, so they can act as better helpers in the future.
We don’t want a Helper role because it very often turns into status, not service. In most servers, it leads to things like helpers talking down to regular members, acting like they own channels, gatekeeping info, policing people with authority vibes when they're not part of the moderation staff, getting defensive because the role becomes their identity, and eventually forming a clique that feels untouchable.
Even with rules and criteria, the label itself creates a social hierarchy we don't want to introduce. We'd rather keep help as a community effort than formalise a role that easily becomes an ego badge.
Moderators already keep track of people who do not give credible information, the Help Ban role is there exactly for this purpose, and we are very strict in this regard.
I'm once again asking for a "True..." Emote there's loads of messages in #endfield I agree with This would be a great reaction emote
added
Not sure if there already is one, but could we please have a channel for theorycrafting? I wish to discuss builds, teams, rotations and synergies but I'm not sure what the right place for that is. Bonus points if we could post videos showcasing those rotations and other challenging content like trimmed medal runs.
Please read the pinned bot message
I usually see moderators go off topic in #help wouldn't this be elitism since they aren't punished?
prob a diff can of worms
not giving credible info and doing #off-topic stuff are different. if you see it being frequent you could modmail those rowdy people
Could we please get something like a #team-guide forum channel?
Think it would be nice if there was somewhere people could post teams, example rotations, and make quick guides/ideas teams theyre using
Mainly so ppl could look up team and see what ppl are doing w ez threads to follow instead of some of the same questions getting asked frequently in chat
i.e. place for quick look up for quick guides
#team-build basically
can we remove :endminfuckyou: sticker? some people are using it to harass other people
Why can't users sent each other points?
can we get a meme channel
Can you guys make a Zipline-guide so I can post my builds?
i did. doesnt work. tried in forums.
i did do the message and not the user. it’s still showing this message.
I tried on both PC and mobile, same thing. Check permissions based on roles?
Yep, refreshing Discord (both platforms) didn't change it. I see "No Commands Available" regardless. I made sure to check more than once that I was clicking on the message and not the account.
Ah ok - why is #1461653979862925498 turned off? Ah alright. Is the only way to use Modmail then?
Message, not user
works fine for me on forum
Well it's not role based, have you refreshed Discord or clear cache for mobile?
Which forum channel is this on? For feedback channel it's turned off so people can't use the bot command
Enabled for #1461653979862925498
Try again
landmine needs a cooldown or any bot commands that get spammed
Can showing the reason for someones be banned for caution for everyone in the chat channel? Sometimes ppl get ban and disappear but others don't know why they be banned
It prob goes against this
This Steam Account scammer is in this server do I report that here or is this more likely irrelevant?
send a message containing the evidence to @wintry mantle
Try to police people who are trying workarounds versus the set banned words
, or just extend the list. People will try to bypass these if they can
G00n go00on g0om stuff like that
Banned
whats the concensus on posting skin modded content?
distribution is bad but like
Can we get a #zipline channel for people to share zipline locations?
Is this supposed to look like that in #server-guidelines ?
Update: nevermind, it recovered.
Are the defence turrent taking on power?
can we utilize #event-guides by posting a simple infographic for each ongoing events? something like this is great so we can redirect people who's looking for a quick help. (there are a sizable amount of people who look for these btw) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1472453789586817126/1473871026940154051/resizeplus_Final_Solution2.gif?ex=6999c31c&is=6998719c&hm=ccfd992842b3d81e9448549d9b14273da2d42c0f8636d9f522df1549f74b1906&
@outer veldt Sorry for the direct ping but i couldn't reply the message somehow.
I saw your messages regarding the lack (not lack, but not enough) moderator to monitor VCs, just a quick question about whether the moderator application is still open? If yes, where can I apply for it. I couldn't find the application messages or maybe it's some discord bugs.
P/s: I have no idea why the image being distorted...sorry about that if that make you uncomfortable...
P/ss: I've found the application post but still wanted to ask if the application is still open now?
.tangtang3 pls
If you can still send an application, then it means it's open. But we do not give any notice if it doesn't get accepted. Only accepted individuals are reached out.
where i can put my attempt to sing?
If it's cover of Endfield song you can post it in #endfield-art for now.
Hello Endfield Team,
I am a big fan of the game's world and combat, but I would love to see more diversity in weapon types. Specifically, I am requesting a male character who uses hand-to-hand combat (Fists/Gauntlets).
In the original Arknights, characters like Chongyue and Mountain were amazing because of their "Brawler" style. Please consider adding a high-impact, martial arts-focused male character to Endfield soon. We need that "art" of fist-fighting in 3D!
Thank you!
Update the .bestgirl command with the hd version https://imgur.com/a/Hufn2l5
is of utter importance obviously
You will nuke ppl with low spec phone
leaving discord before discord sells my personal info this time to us gov
There's a little girl's pic (Endmina) appearing next to my name when i post here lol, let me get rid of this sh!t.
Would be nice if some staff that can manage Gryphline accounts could join discussions in #tech-support from time to time
The account system is a bit confusing, especially the automatic account via 3rd party linking.
Guiding people that accidentally created 2-4 gryphline accounts just from a single mail/google/psn account (all using the same mail) around the deletion restrictions isn't fun
If anyone has questions regarding accounts related inquiries, it's better to send an email to support@gryphline.com instead.

instead of it being one channel for #endfield-art , make it do threads. And have a specific character(s) have their own thread
This will make it easier for ppl to find specific arts of someone
what about a second general chat? the first one is always so full and u cant read 70% of the messages and its full of bot spams and perverts
BAN this guy
click the three dots on the message, go to apps > Flag For Moderator Review, to report the message, it won't work if you right-click to report their discord user
right-clicking on the message itself also works
We should have channel dedicated to post optimize zipline route including how to go oob(out-of-bound) to place said zipline
Have jiggle physic channel
Possible channel for sharing handy/helpful ziplines with others?
Zipline channel will only be used to exploit the map and reach OOB, that's why we won't have zipline channels on the server.
A thread was already considered in #aic-factory, but we decided not to open it.
what if all the Zipline are "legal" I.e. doesn't use exploit and just strategically placed?
I would love to share something like this.
Will the Create VC ever be unlocked? We are getting livesteam on March 1st and it would be funny to have a watch party or something
im the person who made the VC closed
even though when i used it im responsible to stream OG AK, whos to say other people will only stream games? you cant really trust people to be obedient with the rules as it allows for people to try to access pornographic, racist, and other similar media that are rulebreaking
. people already are very "unruly" in #endfield and #off-topic and opened vcs would probably exacerbate that
if they wanted to open vcs there prob would be mods but its going to be a chore for mods to look into vcs especially with the skeleton force we have rn
how do people get media access when posting images in #endfield ?
i think with all the moderation and hype dying down i feel like people should be able post media again in there without the .commands
maybe add the image-banned tag for users who broke the rules or smth. just like the other-game-related-to-endfield-discord-server
edit: hmm. maybe add the ability if you're like a week old member
#bot-spam and type /shop view or /shop purchase item_id:1 to buy the john endfield role for 10000 chat points @normal pebble
allowing everyone to have image perms for common channels in large servers such as this is pretty much a death sentence, as there's inevitably going to be meme spam, image flood, rulebreakers, scams, and nsfw popping up in the chat every few minutes at most
there's still rulebreakers quite often even with permissions locked behind chat points, but you can still post images in every channel excluding #endfield, #off-topic, and #bot-spam from what i can tell. I also believe it was enabled for everyone in common channels previously, but of course the above examples eventually happened so it was disabled for everyone
#1458296451099787304 message why is this STILL up? does moderation just not exist here or? reported it via modmail, no response. the WHOLE mod role was pinged TWICE for that same post and nothing happened
just tag moderators while replying to it?
see, all gone lol. they have a lot of stuff they have to keep an eye on and need some help every now and then
💀 yeah I just saw the multiple pings for that message. idk then lol
the server really needs more active moderation; whether it be through mod apps or other methods doesn't matter
via #bot-spam shop, can we pay to remove a role too?
ever since landmine lover got discounted, i kinda wanna get rid of my hater role
would be nice if i could do it on my own
/shop remove-role role:
oh this is a better system. it'll filter bots i agree
i didn't know.
uhh maybe disable being able to embed (or just send in general) discord invite links
@outer veldt hm i saw a post sometime earlier (around 9:06 am EST) that had an embedded invite link to a phishing server in #endfield earlier, maybe it was an exploit then
It is disabled
i noticed that the post guidelines in the #1461653979862925498 forum prohibit off-topic discussion, so i'm asking to see if it's allowed to create a post summarizing the revealed update content, existing as a form of TLDR for those who don't want to watch the entire devlog video, and only prefer reading the details directly of what's included in the upcoming update.
it'd most likely end up serving as an extended discussion channel regarding the new changes, similar to the already ongoing discussion in the currently most active posts, although right now the update summary would only somewhat fall under the context of "game feedback", as most of the changes haven't even been implemented in the game yet
i'll make sure to include spoiler warnings as the main post title and message as well
#spotlight-old-deep-water-dies-by-rising-tide-it-is-denied is also included in the summary i created, but the screenshots and details are quite vague as to what exactly the changes are @outer veldt
i was considering posting the update details in #broadcast-chat but unfortunately it was locked, now unlocked, is that okay?
- the message also contains
#header formatting which was whitelisted in the automod for the #1461653979862925498 forum
Discussion goes in #broadcast-chat
either reduce or remove the cooldown on posts, if it has to stay make it a 2-3 minute cd at most, 1 hour is way too much
Can we have a Tech Discussions thread in #off-topic ?

I also agree with this point... Basically make the timers match standards in other discord communities.
Also ... in one of the discussion there was mention about how forums lock out? I have not heard of this setting but it would be nice if there is a timer on it to have no shorter than 1 week.
Delete old game feedback that have vague feedback or long threads as they constantly stray off topic. I have looked at multiple game feedbacks that Ive seen that do not really talk about the topic listed on the topic title. I also believe that feedback that have been acknowledged by the dev stream, etc. should also be removed.
Please free us from this slow mode
It has been outlined in the guidelines that #1461653979862925498 are purely for feedback, full discussions were never intended to take place there because it only dilutes the forum posts for the Developer who checks them. We previously did not enforce a slowmode because we believed that the members can give proper constructive feedback and criticism, but it is clear that many malicious users are using it to hold endless arguments as well as constant offtopic discussions. Therefore we have enforced a permanent one hour slowmode to all new posts as well as existing threads we found had been used for offtopics discussion. Due to Discord limitation, they cannot apply slowmode to existing forum posts, that's why some existing forums do not have slowmode.
okay yea I see the point, after making my post and letting it sit for a while I have to admit I did forget it was feedback only and not discussion based so the 1 hour cool down does make sense now and should stay
you know what would be a fun addition? Grenades. For an amount of points you can throw a grenade and mute a random active chatter.
do we really can't get meme channel?
please? 🥺
pretty sure discussions, as long it within the scope of the thread's title are also something the dev need to look into (assuming they actually read it in which recent devlog didn't show the sign of it being the case)
discussions lead to greater insight of why certain suggestions became hot topic and crowded by supporters
it only tend to go haywire and off topic when some party decided to throw insults and dismissing suggestion that didn't align with their view and i believe those are the one need to be rid
if the mods can enforce a system in which we can report these bad actors that have no business to be in certain thread discussion it will be more healthy than enforcing 1 hour slow mode that pretty much preventing these discussion to happen and losing the details that might not be covered by the initial thread post
<@&956153874383781928> Hi everyone! I’ve applied to the Arknights: Endfield Creator Program three times already and I meet all the listed requirements, but I haven’t received any response yet.
Does anyone know how long the review process usually takes, or if there’s a way to check whether my application (FreigeistTV) went through correctly?
Thanks in advance!
We already have the report system explained in the #server-guidelines and it's clearly not used by anyone in the feedback forum. As we investigated that the forum posts are more constantly used for off topic discussion instead of actual feedback, the moderation team has decided to close it.
I don't even know that the post guidelines button exist in the search bar for thread before today
maybe because I don't usually using discord thread or lack observation skill to notice that,
but since the guideline hiding by default maybe add something to tell people that discord
have post guidelines button in the game feedback template thread would help?
and yes I probably am one of the people who derailed the thread from time to time,
not defending my self over that fact since what I did is wrong, but I would prefer some warning in text to tell us to stop because silent action can be misinterpret in many way or might give people confusion in what they did wrong and with the guidelines button is not noticeable some people might not seen that guidelines like me for example.
Why is that the game feedback threads get slowmode? isn't the soul reason behind being able to chat in the threads to discuss the topic?
Please read here
I would like to point out that the endless discussions aren't really that much of an issue in the original Arknights Discord. The reason so many are chatting there constantly is because we are so dissatisfied with the state of Endfield, and lack another place to voice our extreme frustrations
Additionally, the general chats are far too crowded. None of us can say anything without being drowned out by the massive tidal wave of additional messages. And much of our feedback and frustrations, especially in regards to story tone, lore faithfulness, and combat complexity wasn't addressed in any official developer statements.
I can assure you that we have filled out the surveys, but we are still extremely worried that the developers won't actually even consider our opinions.
I don't want to sound hostile. I'm sure you're just trying to do your job. I just want to emphasize that many of us don't really have anywhere else we can express these frustrations. Many fans of the original Arknights are dissatisfied and maybe even feel betrayed by the direction Endfield has taken.
There have been multiple in-game surveys aimed to collect feedback.
Hello there, lads. Since I joined the discord it seems that voice channels aren't enabled : will they be active soon enough or for later ? It's a shame that we can't use them, since it would be both cool to discuss with others and beneficial to help others having difficulties.
Spoltlight Events
@outer veldt
I'd recommend separating this entire rule block into it's own message so It's clearer for new users - (Created an announcement a few minutes ago about this exact issue it seems.), as discord members not reading rules/pins/descriptions if they're not straightforward and obvious enough, is quite common across all servers. The guidelines and explanations which are indicated across this server either require reading through paragraphs to understand, or are hidden through multiple button clicks by default.
There's servers which require members to read and agree to the rules by reacting to the message, or responding with a code that's included in the guidelines themselves, afterwards unlocking the respective channels to ensure people have read the rules. Though I'm aware that might not be viable in this place, as every server is different, but it could help here with people not being aware of the rules.
@hexed heart, @pliant needle Just from what I've noticed personally there's always endless discussion ongoing in the #1461653979862925498 channel, which bumps old posts to recently active and continuously clogs the forums, making it more difficult for developers to read them and for the staff to moderate. 90% of the previous discussion in the #1461653979862925498 forums from what I witnessed, resulted in either off-topic conversations or arguments being constantly stirred across multiple posts. Although some of the discussion is productive, a lot of the tens of thousands of messages aren't productive to the post, and just increase the overall channel clutter.
Will be open in the future
can we have new emoji? like this one? Please?
I assume there has been talk about creating a channel for each operator correct? It is very difficult to talk with others about a single Operator to get team build ideas when it is quickly lost in chatter about everything else.
No
Can we get points from getting landmined
it might actually be that it does not work properly there, everytime I tried using it I got this message:
Did the message indeed get deleted?
Answer ur modmail and stop ignoring ppl, genuinely what is the point of even having it if ur just gonna ignore
Your Modmail is flagged as Spam, I'll review the modmail, and please stop posting Perlica egg pictures.
can i get perms on VC Ownership, thanks
Is it possible if we can lower the feedback slowmode?
A whole 1 hour slowmode kills ANY discussion anyone might have, it’s a place to give feedbacks but often times there will be people who thinks otherwise or don’t know the problem and is curious as to why we are talking about it, of which we need to let them know.
Why bother much about off topics when ak itself didnt bother much about them? Or like if you are worried about off topic so much, why not moderate them once in a while?
Instead of just bombing the channel
These channels are just gonna be half useless because we are never gonna be able to take in different opinions to refine and finalize proper feedback n ideas. Just allow people to talk with slow mode similar to general and allow the thread creator to pin messages in their thread
it didn't, might just being the bot struggling with the forum channels
mods is AI allowed in general chat? i see a lot of AI gen videos, gifs, pics lately
Scroll up as it has already been explained
.
Please read the #server-guidelines
We prohibit GenAI "art", videos that get "animated" with AI most of the time do not use GenAI but frame generation.
I'll look into this
While I do understand the concerns that full discussions in the feedback channels dilute forum posts. Where else are we supposed to have those long disussions that require many messages? There are a few more channels in the outposts section, but none are really specific to gameplay or story discussions. And many of the general chats either don't seem appropriate for these discussions, or are so full of messages that no discussions can reasonably be held. So where should these discussions take place?
I'm primarily referring to criticism by the way. If it can't take place in the feedback threads, where should the criticism take place?
If we can open more outposts. Might it be possible to open some explicitely for criticism of current story, gameplay, combat, etc?
Many of us are also worried, because while Hypergryph did discuss some of the issues that were discussed, they didn't touch on the story at all, even though most of us filled out the surveys very thoroughly
Check #server-news as we have opened more channels for general discussions outside of #off-topic
Story discussion goes to #lore-room
Gameplay goes to #theorycrafting if related to core gameplay and optimisation or you can use the outposts
#1461653979862925498 are NOT for discussions, they are purely for feedback.
If needed, we can open more outposts specifically for more topics or create a thread under #lore-room or other specific topic channels, you can request them on this channel.
@outer veldt i wanna ask but i'm not sure if you can confirm this for me or not, and this probably dont have any connection to discord feedback, but are EFMI mods allowed to be shared / used in screenshots / used in the game ?
you probably already know what EFMI does, but its basically works like DLSS and does not interact with the game directly
The Dev already sent you a survey form in-game at least 5 times, you can post any criticism and feedback there. Because they are guaranteed to be read by the dev.
While criticism can go in #1461653979862925498 , full discussion is not the purpose of the channel
The dev log was recorded half a month after release, most of the script probably already done a week after the game release. Most of the complaints regarding the story were only showing up a week after release after most ppl cleared them. Naturally it's not going to get touched in the Dev Log.
Can we add a new channel for exchanging clues in the Chinese area? 可以新增中文區的交換線索頻道嗎
is it possible to hve another art channel for artists
#endfield-art, #artist-studio, @peak parrot
Can confirm it isn't an isolated case
This is why I hate forums and threads, I'll look into it
Full discussions is not the purpose of the channel but it doesn’t seem like you guys are moderating it at all. Throughout my experience in feedback threads I’ve never seen any mods do anything about feedback threads go off topic hence why it got out of hand( and I don’t think you guys even spend that much time in feedback threads to backread ones that were active either, considering your response to the threads that were affected)
Instead of over buffing the slowmode duration, why not just put more effort into your moderation as a whole
is there no channel dedicated to asking questions?
#1461653979862925498 Restrictions Explanation
A whole 1 hour slowmode kills ANY discussion anyone might have, it’s a place to give feedbacks but often times there will be people who thinks otherwise or don’t know the problem and is curious as to why we are talking about it, of which we need to let them know.
- Yes, that's the point. Just from what I've noticed personally there's always endless discussion ongoing in the game-feedback channel, which bumps old posts to recently active and continuously clogs the forums, making it more difficult for developers to read them and for the staff to moderate. Although some of the discussion is productive, a lot of the tens of thousands of messages aren't productive to the post, and just increase the overall channel clutter, consisting mostly of off-topic conversations or arguments that shouldn't be held.
Full discussions is not the purpose of the channel but it doesn’t seem like you guys are moderating it at all. / (and I don’t think you guys even spend that much time in feedback threads to backread ones that were active either, considering your response to the threads that were affected)
- There's a great handful of people that have been moderated in the forums, either receiving a feedback ban or higher punishment depending on the severity of their actions. Also explained below that they did in fact read through every single message in the forums, and was proven by the moderation actions taken above.
- #endfield message, #endfield message
Instead of over buffing the slowmode duration, why not just put more effort into your moderation as a whole
- Sadly It's not entirely about moderation, It's about the intended purpose of the channel. The server guidelines and purpose of the channel explicitly state that the forum is reserved for game feedback only. If you want to have an extended discussion related to game feedback, you are welcome to use the many separate channels which are specifically intended for this purpose.
- #endfield, #off-topic, #infra-station, #qingbo-stockade, #gaming
-# - - ||#discord-feedback message, #discord-feedback message, is also where it is stated.||
its unfortunate that crucial context like this must came from the mouth of a Discord Mod instead of the Development Staff, simply signaling the lack of transparency and communication
P.S.
complaint about the the story already appearing after the first week, in fact sooner since some thread dated as far as the first few days, the one with 800+ upvotes started at Jan 25th
if the recording is "over half a month after relese" (which can be anything from 2-4 weeks after release) then plenty of info could have crammed up, instead what we see in the devlog so far is just addressing stuff we already knew from the written info that they posted few days after release
Did you even watch the Dev Log?
Literally first 15 seconds?
Problem is
- A good feedback can’t be achieved without a proper debate or argument
- This comes with the first problem being the fact that people will immediately just start talking or discussing or saying whatever they want directly to the person in the same place. Thats just how a lot of people work, scarcely are you gonna find people who actually moves for that said purposes
- if you want devs to be able to read a proper feedback without being clogged by other random messages( Doing this slowmode doesnt stop the problem) then just simply, allow the thread poster to pin messages. To direct people to read what they actually should read, simple solution
- I don’t think enough is being done or changed regarding feedback channels for it to actually function properly. You guys want it to be restrictive guidelines wise? Sure, but why can I just skim through threads for 2-3 minutes and instantly find threads with off topics or discussions or things that you don’t want right about instantly as I open the thread or scroll up slightly
I don’t necessarily mean the moderation isn’t enough, But what I want to say is that the ways to handle feedback is just not the way to go to tackle the problem
Issue fixed
Good points, after some consideration we have decided to disable the message permission instead. This will fulfill the channel's intended purpose for the Developers to collect feedback. Without any message polluting the channels, the staff in charge of collecting feedback will have an easier time. In the future we will create a new feedback forum for every patch cycle and archive the previous patch feedback forum for one entire cycle so staff have enough time to collect all previous patch feedback, and users can focus on giving feedback for the new patch.
I do feel part of the way people went offtopic on the other channels is just how toxic the actual general chat is, so while i get why it might be an issue we went offtopic, i feel it's cause should also be addressed
We will enforce stricter moderation in the other general channels to combat these toxicity.
Additionally we opened more channels for people to hold general discussions that can be joined from id:customize
Is there any way we can get thread access on some of these? I feel like there's a point where I can be having a back and forth with some people and everyone around us probably doesn't care and if we could thread it and continue it would be better for everyone. Doesn't need to be permanent threads, just the ones that can be enabled with "reply in thread"
For your reply: fair enough, figured it just didnt hurt to ask
ello i was gonna ask why i can see all outpost channel even thou i didnt clickity clack any of the thing in role
is this intended feature or bug
Ping moderator for thread creation of specific topics
Unfortunately we are trying to limit the amount of threads as Discord has a maximum number of 1000 active thread limits, which we often reach due to ongoing #1465229737642164386 as well as #1461542035617091681 channel as threads limit share the same amount of forum posts.
You enabled "show all channels" on server setting
Won't disabling message permissions potentially enable complaints that most players don't agree with to be communicated to the developers' Wouldn't it be better for at least some discussion to take place? Or will the devs determine the priority of certain features via the number of upvotes a thread gets?
Also, might it be possible for us to get a sort of "vent" thread, or some other thread that's expressly for the purposes of discussing issues in endfield without clogging up the feedback channels. This topic specifically seems to be something a lot of people want to discuss (I think), and it doesn't seem appropriate to clog up other threads with this topic, given that criticism and venting doesn't seem appropriate for the other channels and threads.
I have already vented in all the in game surveys. And it still seems that the things I'm very worried about aren't being at least addressed. Even if the game itself doesn't change, I at least want to know that people like me were at least considered. Additionally, since the in game surveys are so few and far between (comparatively), many of our complaints tend to get bottled up, diluted, and chaotic. I just think it would be better for us to discuss it with other players, get immediate (or almost immediate feedback) as to the validity of our complaints, and see if we are overreacting, or if it really is that bad. Look, I just want to know if I'm overreacting or if an issue really is that bad.
Additionally, even one week is plenty of time for players to play the game, experience the story, and develop criticisms of it. It just seem strange that Mountain Contour doesn't even mention anything regarding the story, especially since (from my point of view), the quality of the story seems to be a major detriment to the current state of the game
we can still react, aside from when you get blocked lmfao.
I've seen a lot of threads made due to discussion about them in other channels, where they ironed out the topics and made the feedback itself better to start with, without clogging up the thread. seems like the outpost channels are perfect for that lol.
You can vent your issues in the in-game surveys
Having it on Discord will only get you the worst out of people as you can see unfolding in the feedback discussion already.
imagine the one who react is a bot no proper debate or argument on the thread how valid the upvote is if its an empty thread
also my experience first time on feedback is when i need fast fix on Endfield gameplay
which i assume there should be technical thread which should have its own thread
feedback is for future game improvement not fixing
*im aware there's tech-support but it's slugfest there
i need more categorized problem which make me easier to navigate
also 6 hours cooldown wow
Regarding your in-game feedback, you don't need to worry as HG has a history of listening to their player's feedback. Not only for the Original Arknights, but also their other games such as Popucom and Ex Astris.
This decision is also taken after I received instructions to further flesh out the #1461653979862925498 channel to ensure that the staff in charge of feedback collection can have better feedback collection experience.
The moderation team will monitor the needs for further discussion channels related to feedback, and possibly create a forum channel for such discussion categorised by each aspect of the game (i.e. story, gacha, character design, etc) separate from the #1461653979862925498 channel.
@green panther nice ref
I still have yet to get a single answer from mod mail ever, I haven’t gotten a single response. You say my submissions have been marked as spam yet I only found out about that from posting in this channel. Why is that how your mod mail works? How is it fair to give users infractions without ever letting them contact you to discuss the infractions. And also why is it not told to the user that their submission could be marked as spam and how to prevent it. I’ve tried everything to at least get an answer. What an absurd terrible mod mail system, I haven’t had an issue like this in any other gacha discord server
Your rules also say the user has the right to appeal infractions within a set time frame. Yet if you don’t answer them and ignore them and that time frame runs out, again, how is that fair. Please fix your system or hire less lazy mods to review mod mail
A lil notice would've gone a long way, I thought I was blocked from writing altogether. Strange moderation.
I'm sorry, but I don't see a channel for discussing feedback? Many pressing issues (issues with the story, localization, pull economy, etc) don't belong in any of the listed channels.
Hey, sorry for the ping—and I do agree with many of your points that the forum often favored drama over genuine feedback—but would it be possible for the creator of the thread to post messages in regards to updating their report? Or is the fact that it'd bump the post up to the top again something that is top priority to avoid and will we simply be limited to editing our original post for the unforeseeable future. One criticism I have of a complete shut-down of bumping is Discord's forum is not exactly perfect, and users are not able to sort by the most popular threads; as those would tend to be the biggest issue(s).
Generally though, as an added side note, there definitely needs to be a larger active moderation team. Many moderators, aside from select trial moderators, aren't nearly active enough if at all in the channels and only reply to modmail (which I believe is a great system, don't get me wrong). However, there have been several cases where blatant rule-breaks such as phishing/scam links, (extremely) offensive spam, or just plain racism was let off the hook for several minutes or even hours. It's very vague right now as to how one would even become moderator, so anyone potentially interested has no way of learning more, much less reaching out.
As for my personal opinion(s)—as someone who has helped administrate discord servers before—baseline, sufficient moderation should be chosen before the server goes public. I don't believe it is any specific person's fault, but the current state of moderation is unacceptable. While I do believe that it is true nothing major has been left unchecked for too long yet, that's entirely subjective. On the flip side, to some, simply the ability to do things such as chain emojis to create offensive images should have been have been restricted before it could ever happen. Again, this segment is purely subjective but I thought I'd bring it up again as I do seriously believe it's a ticking time bomb.
That’s actually a brilliant idea. Much appreciated.
There is no real need for feedback discussion. At the end of the day it will always boil down to people either agreeing with what is said or disagreeing. In the end, it became the same as most other feedback sections for games, just a glorified social club. The arguments largely lacked any real substance and ultimately, if being honest, are/were just a colossal waste of time.
Removing the ability for people to nest in those threads is saving people from themselves. I see some of them in here already trying to barter to get something, some kind of space where they can continue to perpetuate it. In reality all they want is the attention. If they want it that bad, they can just go make their own discord.
probably one of the most tone deaf opinion, not that it matter anyway now that people are pretty much silenced
can only hope the moderators fulfiling their promise for that discussion rooms so at very least there's actually a room for real discussion and not glazing, have too much of them already in general chat
☝️ developers want player feedback on the game, not discord members trying to endlessly refine or format someone elses feedback to match their own opinion, or turn it into whatever "better feedback" they think it's supposed to be
the channel isn't intended for extended discussion, there's channels which are intended for extended discussion, in which you're free to redirect people to continue discussing your thoughts and opinions on their feedback, it's a relatively simple and reasonable idea, and for these reasons i think a 1 hour slowmode is actually quite generous
- there's plenty of additional details included up here, along with the respective channels you are welcome to chat in, there's a lot #endfield, #off-topic, #infra-station, #qingbo-stockade, #gaming
you can see how even this channel with a 6 hour slowmode has essentially turned into a mini-discussion regarding the game feedback restrictions, honestly if that isn't a clear enough example, along with the nearly 200k messages consisting mostly of endless talk and arguments in #1461653979862925498, i don't know what else is considered a reasonable enough explanation
there's channels which are intended for extended discussion, in which you're free to redirect people to continue discussing your thoughts and opinions on their feedback
can't see it anywhere, unless you mean we're supposed to held a battle royale of chats about multiple different topic happening at the same time in outposts/general channel which very much not ideal if the goal is addressing specific topic / thread, that's why we ended up using the feedback thread instead
that should make it clear that the server is lacking some necessary feature, namely a dedicated forum that will not affect our "mythical HG staff member that will check the #1461653979862925498" to do their job, yet, can easily linked by feedback poster to held a discussion somewhere else that still very focused and easy to track
and yes this is a legit server feedback, please consider it after the blueprint event is done and over with
||although the most curious thing is how holding a discussion affecting the staff to do their job
you can sort the threads in the feedback forum by date so as far as parsing the feedback goes, it shouldn't be an issue to begin with
what discord can't do however is to sort thread based on activity / upvotes counts, so with the current implementation, popular feedback will ended up getting pilled by the minor ones instead over time
but heh, perhaps their SoP is somewhat include a rule to not utilizing the sorting feature so i will just pretend it is what it is||
I'm not worrying about if they will listen. I'm worried about who Hypergryph, specifically Mountain Contour, will listen to. I am scared, or rather terrified, that Endfield will lose its identity and become "just another gacha", like what happened to Zenless Zone Zero losing the TV mode, rather than the artistic unique masterpiece it could be. I know that Studio Montagne will prioritize story and focus on expanding depth, maturity, and complexity, but I worry that Mountain Contour won't. This is the core of my concern, and why I'm so worried at the lack of any response towards these aspects.
I probably shouldn't continue this topic in this thread. I just want you to know why I am so worried.
Back on topic, which moderator do we ping for the creation of new threads?
Also, I fear that the lack of feedback to feedback may mean that certain suggestions are taken more seriously than they should be, reactions can get a lot done don't get me wrong, but sometimes verbal discussion is needed to "iron out the details" if you will. I actually think that the hour slowmode isn't actually the worst change, as it encouraged slower, more in depth discussion, and the openings of new, informal threads outside the feedback section will draw away most of the off topic discussion. What's left should be manageable, unless I'm mistaken or gravely underestimate things. Unless mass amounts of rough feedback is the primary objective, at which point ignore the preceding paragraph.
While I do agree that the feedback channel isn't appropriate for extended discussions. None of those other threads are exactly appropriate for criticism. I read their purposes at the top and none seem appropriate. And it seems disrespectful to bring those critical discussions there. And again, I don't think the main chats mentioned by Zencrox are really suitable, and the https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/956086672418832394 thread is very crowded, and not suited for complex discussions.
why #1461653979862925498 become 1984?
when will it be opened back?
I feel like completely removing comments from feedback posts is detrimental.
Firstly, as mentioned above, discussions help polish feedback and hear more opinions without making extra post. Considering that there aren't any alternatives for structured discussions (regular chats aren't usable for this because there are 10 parallel discussions happening at once), feedback threads were only viable place for this. (Alternative channels where we can create structured threads for discussions about specific topics would be welcome)
Secondly, active and relevant topics get bumped by discussions, reducing number of duplicate topics and bringing issues to attention of more players. E.g. my own thread about regional pricing had little to no spam, with 140 messages directly relevant to the topic, however without new messages it is now buried and invisible to people who may not even know about issue.
A select number of threads got out of hand, yes, I think it's reasonable to lock any thread that reached certain number of messages (500? 1000?). I don't think many threads reached that far, and even less will if comments are open but with 1h slowmode. Cleaning feedback section each patch is also a good idea, but I'd suggest making a mod post at the beginning of each patch listing cleared threads just so people don't ask where did they go and can at least think that they were forwarded to devs.
First, consider the following.
If you think having discussion on someone’s personal feedback about the game is some way to weed out the bad opinions from reaching the devs? Realize you have ZERO ability to dispute player feedback given on the in-game survey. So the idea any of us can serve as arbiters of what the devs can or can’t see is a fools errand.
Second, the reality is, people only want discussion allowed on feedback for one of two reasons.
1: They have an emotional reaction to what is being said and want to argue about it. I’m no different in this respect, my limited time on this discord was spent either raging at the fact peoples ideas were being drowned out by a loud vocal minority or banging my head against the wall when even after I would get someone to concede on something in a debate I would catch them continuing to say said conceded point elsewhere regardless.
2: A large chunk of people don’t even care about the arguing, it’s just bonding over hate dumping. That is a cancer to any community I have ever been in. You form little clicks of people who just feed into each others negative feelings. Hence the social club aspect of it. “Ohnoes where can we go now to collective bond over trashing aspects of the game?”
Note, nothing is stopping you from giving game feedback. You can still do that. The gripe is that you can’t endlessly go back and forth about what others are saying or engage in circle jerking behavior. This is the last I’ll comment on this topic, but yeah, at the end of the day this was the best decision for all our sakes.
to some degree, yeah, at least the bootlickers also can't go their way and dismiss peoples suggestion for the sake of shilling so there's some positive side of that yeah
but with no avenue of discussion i guess i will have to make my own feedback thread because none of the current submitted ones actually representing my personal feedback
in any case good day to you sir
seconding this. i'm in the same boat as you, my feedback about the shared facilities feature, which a significant portion of players wants to see gone from their gameplay, can no longer be interacted with and will thus be buried. additionally, there will now be many duplicate feedback posts be made, further diluting the effectiveness of the feedback system on this topic in general. blocking discussion on feedback is the incorrect path, what should be done instead is the moderators should action those who abuse the channel

Can we add a new channel for exchanging clues in the Chinese area? 可以新增中文區的交換線索頻道嗎
Just hard in general to get into gen chat when most of it is just horny posting and nothing else, especially when it's about the child chars and stuff
** Feedback situation**
1 hour slowmode in the feedback isn't the end of the world guys, you've never seen the sunlight if you think so.
It's not the place to tell stories about how you lost your dog in the park, and before it was just redundancy in the threads, same one story or same one perlica sticker.
You can keep "bumping" your posts or carefully think your thoughts and what you want to write in there with an hour slowmode perfectly fine.
Want to discuss it thoroughly? You got the other general channels for that. If you hate the slowmode in general just make your own server or go on other servers, there's plenty of them already.
If your feedback gathered over 200 upvotes it's already on the way to the devs and they were already aware of it.
Your gacha/story/ ui feedbacks are already shared between the entire community, reddit has the same feedback posts, twitter probably too so the devs are already very aware of it.
Upvoting one post gives more awareness to it than chatting in there or posting stickers.
You really want all your feedbacks to be in the game live the next day after you post it, that's impossible. certain stuff takes time and planning, even if it's a simple one line code change, it can still break something else if not tracked correctly.
The moderators don't have to read all your stories as they see the feedback and the amount of upvotes that tells more than enough about it's importance. If you're upvoting it means you're already agreeing with that feedback so all the unnecessary rendundant texting isn't needed. One hour is perfectly fine for everything. Move over.

** Ideas for 1st April server event**
These are all separate ideas, not to be used all together (but can be combined if you wish), and meant to be used only for the duration of one day.
- Make the entire server have a 6 hour slowmode for a day
- Raise the Ladmine chances to 5-10% for the standard 1 minute.
- Make the point shop have a landmine for the price of 1000 points (or lower) per unit, and people can buy and use the landmine on whoever they want ( Skipper too lazy to code this one ).
- A one single time Golden Landmine with an extremely small chance, but one who triggers it receives 30k points instead ( or some exclusive role ). This idea however might lead to spam/flooding, unless that landmine only is active in a temporary channel that will be created exclusively for that one day. Pity might be implemented to it in such way that every time someone triggers a landmine, the chance for the golden landmine grows up little by little to the point that it eventually is guaranteed to trigger.
- Everyone who sends at least one single message for that one day gets some special role as a souvenir. Or otherwise for easier "coding" just have a classic "reaction-role" message that you have to react to get the role, but you can only claim it on that one day, then you just remove the channel the next day. There's plenty of bots that offer that out there, or code it yourselves.
- Classic "Fake 1 ping" icon sitting on the server icon for one day that every single other servers use every year
- Make every single role color into green color (endministrator's role color), or default white color for one day ( that includes moderators, bots, boosters, artists, CCs and supervisors. You can leave Staff alone if you want
- Change the Perlica bot to Chen bot ( switch the name and pfp to chen), but every landmine time is random between 5 seconds to 10 minutes (or more/less) because Chen has no intellect and cant count one minute
.
You got one month ( without 4 days). You can either do something or leave it boring as it is, i overworked my brain hard on this one, some other ideas were too hard/complex to code so i didn't add them here

Really liked all of the landmine-centered ideas here, and I wanted to expand one some of the April Fools ideas:
Kind of a combination of two ideas, but making or repurposing the Perlica bot to be Tangtang—a chaotic and mischievous character—it’d make more sense.
A lot of things would change to fit this rebrand: renaming channels, roles, commands, etc. There would be custom bot commands (like .landmine) that are replaced to be more Tangtang focused, and the ones painting her in a bad light or potentially being unrelated to her could be a gif that’s suggests a highjacking of sorts.
The premise of purchasing consumable landmines to blow each other up with would be a great way to spend points and have some funny moments happen. Being blown up by one of these custom mines would send a unique message, both publicly and in your dms; perhaps with some variation to spice things up.
A custom server announcement could be made, hinting that sort of Tangtang stole the microphone from Perlica (figuratively). This would encourage users to do more digging for themselves to find out what’s changed, as well as be clued in on what’s happening with the server.
A unique channel could also be added where messages can’t be sent, but a single message with a bomb reaction would be present. When the reaction count reaches certain milestones, special events might occur in the current #endfield channel (which, again, would likely be renamed). The specifics of this like whether or not the milestones should be specified, or if it should be something like
1000 - XXX
2000 - YYY
3000 - ZZZ
and they’re only revealed when those milestones are reached would be interesting. Ultimately up to the server handlers to decide, though.
I might try and brainstorm other, unique ideas, but I really felt like this one would fit the current state of the game, especially since it’d take place during the patch of Tangtang’s release
We really just need a location for debates and whatnot.
That certainly isn’t any of the current channels in the server atp
If a channel is made for said purposes. Please
- Disable bot commands, wtv the hell is happening in general or off topic already doesnt make anyone want to debate already
- Can we ban behaviors like these #endfield message #endfield message #off-topic message in the said channel or just disable images or link perms
@green turret the point is that none of them should be in a discussion channel
#redeem-code Has this been reported? it's previous Perlica, looks pretty weird right now
I still have yet to get a single answer from mod mail ever, I haven’t gotten a single response.
Tbf the first one is the only one thats probably “sexually suggestive” if that particular short clip was sent, as per rule2. Kinda like chen’s gif when you look at her back; if you send the latter third of her idle, youd get smited. But sending the whole animation is fine
The second one is just basic shipping though the kissing part might be a bit obscene, and the third one is a meme “trend” recently where theres a group of characters just nodding with an up and down shoulder motion, but you might be focusing on the boob jiggle a bit too much https://youtube.com/shorts/Gv5_6U7AnWY
1 hour slowmode in the feedback
#1461653979862925498 doesn't have a slowmode, commenting on posts is completely disabled. it is not possible to discuss a feedback topic at all, which means every post steadily falls off the front page and thus engagement with it evaporates. this also means that the same topic will see many duplicate posts, because the overwhelming majority of people don't search before posting
Can we have .bean command?
apprently this is how its intended to be, perhaphs its never about the upvote count but the duplicates then so be it
But with only reactions and duplicates, what to stop spam?
idk, maybe that simply want too see how many poeple go their way to make suggestions? the rest proebably based on their personal judgment and bias as human
Wait, if duplicates are the point. How will the mod team discern spam from actual feedback? Because even with the 1 hour slowmode, the mere presence of people talking means that there's something worth discussing. But with only reactions and duplicates, what to stop spam?
Fairly certain this channel isn't meant to be used for discussion either; can we start actually giving feedback and suggestions? You can debate content here in #off-topic if you really wanted to.
i think threads would also clean things up
Re-add the ability to chat in #1461653979862925498 .
Change the default view of #1461653979862925498 to Date Posted (yes, it’s possible). This way, messages that are posted during the discussion of suggestions don’t bump the suggestion.
I still have yet to get a single answer from mod mail ever, I haven’t gotten a single response. Eggs are a means of reproduction for birds. Perlica is a Liberi which represents bird. Perlica labeled eggs imply reproduction. Hope this helps 🙂
imo, just dont bother, even I dont get a response for my modmail, and its already 2 days.....
You posted that "women are worse than reading maps than men" while linking two sites with one that is basically a low quality gender based research. I can easily link another low quality gender based research to say women do something better than men, but why would I attempt to discredit a certain gender or divide the community?
Someone mentioned that they have trouble remembering paths, and you out of nowhere started calling out women for being bad at reading maps. You are discrediting a gender while also trying to divide the community.
I also think that the quality of posts at the top has gone down since comments were turned off, I have no empirical data, but from a rough count it seems out of the top 10 posts, like 5 or 6 are reposts and 2 are low quality slop posts. Obviously this channel isn't for discussion, but I am suggesting that, at the very minimum, there is a slow mode re-added. I can't fathom how this system is better for the HG team that collects feedback, now that the built in auto-sorting nature of comments and active/good threads being bumped to the top isn't there, or the playerbase who wants to give out more feedback.
#help message
can we be more strict on like the whole g##n stuff, especially in helps or any channels that relates to advising or supporting people who have problems with games mechanics and whatnot
It’s just weird, there are things that people just need to keep to themselves
The fact that they aren’t really being dealt with makes them more prone to saying whatever the hell they want
I don’t wanna hear about going to other channels when some of them have these topics and activities happening much more often than others, it’s just uncomfortable to chat or look at in general
I can honestly list more and more obvious ones but I just genuinely can’t be bothered to scroll further, these should provide enough of an example
that's because the posts at the top are just the latest ones, I feel like reading through several versions of the same suggestion/complaint is still easier than several 10k+ message threads with mostly off topic discussion, if you don't agree with a suggestion then consider making your own instead?
I do think there should be a channel for discussing some of the topics on discord but idt that's what #1461653979862925498 was intended for
Then we’re just clogging up the system by making more threads, it would be better to have the multi message threads and it to be bumped to discourage more threads being created on the same topic.
If u see anyone breaking the rule you can report their message by right clicking it > apps > flag for mod review.
We check all received reports.
looking at topics and the description by just scrolling the entire channel is way better than scrolling 10k+ messages in each thread created
Discord forums are just not good for these.
The only good use I saw was an image gallery. You can scroll it for the content, or optionally click it to comment.
@restive hearth ironically locking the posts outright actually helps with the unavoidable global active threads limit, as it prevents people from going into every single feedback post to talk endlessly, clogging up the system and getting more important threads archived in other channels as a result
a thousand users creating similar feedback posts is also easier to read/navigate, though i'm sure the staff in charge of gathering player feedback is perfectly capable of having an end solution reached, that best benefits themselves along with the players who are submitting feedback which the forums are intended for
and yeah, @coral vale, discord channels/forums/threads have many drawbacks for the conveniences and reduced channel clutter they provide alongside community interaction
on a separate note, i've noticed a few channels in this server which seem to lack detailed guidelines or a pin specific to that channel, though it's stated clearly enough in the guidelines, and common sense dictates that server members should follow the rules, regardless of the channel they're currently in:
- #1461542035617091681, #bot-spam, #broadcast-chat (Re-locked for now)
i'd also recommend cleaning up pins and messages across the server which contain outdated/old information, such as the ones in the #tech-support channel, as they will subsequently be included in future guides if they're relevant enough:
@serene root Would it be possible to change up the Game Feedback Template? Currently it looks more like it’s setup for reporting bugs or issues. But there can also be feedback in the form of new ideas or additional concepts for current existing content that the devs may find useful or good enough to implement. Maybe something like this;
THREAD TITLE:
FEEDBACK TYPE: (Game Issue or New Feature, NOTE: PLEASE INCLUDE SCREENSHOT FOR GAME ISSUES.)
FEEDBACK OVERVIEW: (Please give a brief summary of the feedback you are giving.)
FEEDBACK DETAILS: (Explain your feedback as clear as you can, please be mindful of discord message text limits.)
Working on some reworks atm
I think splitting the thread into “bug-reports” and “suggestions,” similar to how AKO does, would be a great way to split up objective issues and subjective feedback
Already considered, the change will be pushed upon 1.1 release
@neon gyro Is it alright if we get some sort of "story criticism" thread, or a couple of threads for general discussion of criticism, maybe something like a "vent" thread. Several of the largest threads in the feedback section grew so large specifically because users didn't really have a dedicated thread or area to vent frustrations or discuss game issues. I don't believe that the current outpost threads are appropriate, nor are the off-topic or lore-room chats. And the primary endfield chat is constantly clogged and incredibly dense, making in depth discussions difficult.
For the purposes of discussion and critical discussion, it might be beneficial to have some sort of dedicated forum thread. With subforums or subthreads dedicated for critical discussion of specific aspects, such as combat, the AIC, writing, story, etc.
That way, users can have these discussions without unncessarily or disruptively clogging up the other chats and threads, the ones that are more dedicated to general discussion or other minor topics
so we had multiple threads on game problems including critical ones (yes i know endfield devs are completely ignoring CPU bug hoping people get tired and shut up) and we never got any kind response. and the best thing you do is completely block the comments?
Can we give other people points instead of it being a moderator locked action?
Shorely the bots dont know the points mechanism
Hi, could we get posts from #twitterfeed posted as normal posts/messages (not link to X) in some channel (maybe #game-news or possibly a new one) here? I don't use Twitter, so opening each post there to see individual pictures is a bad experience for me. I am also really sorry if there is some channel with these posts, but I couldn't find it.
I would also like to specify that I don't mean posts like 'Social events winners', but for example, the currently last one there about the AIC update. I think posts like that about the game itself deserve to be posted here.
Hello, can we possibly split twitter news(winners etc) from game / dev news? I have followed and auto forwarded arknights news from this channel into my own; where we discuss the game but we just see a bunch of embded twitter links across the screen
Thank you!
Can we get a zipline channel?
Iirc it was ever been asked here as well and the answer is no, the reason is simply because of potential of oob or map exploit strategy
The last thing we need is a Story Criticism or “Vent” channel/thread. It’s like literally asking for a space that is solely dedicated to negativity, and since it’s not in any feedback section there would be no real value to it other than to serve as an echo chamber for people to circle jerk over trashing the game or seeking to cultivate a hate community for said game.
Note, people can easily go elsewhere to “vent” or criticize the story/game. The ONLY reason anyone would want to do so on the official discord for the game is purely attention seeking behavior. It’s cancerous to game communities. There are surely a hundred other things someone can do with their time that is far more constructive than trying to connect with others over “why yes, I also hate this aspect.” ;P
Anyway.
What would the odds be of adding a Music channel? 👀
Like sharing YouTube music videos or such.
Can we limit the amount or just remove the feature of uploading images or popping out images on general chat?
can we have more general channels so that the toxicity evenly spreads out or smt
addressed in #server-news message 👍
#endfield, #off-topic, #infra-station, #qingbo-stockade - the last two are mostly inactive (currently), so you're free to discuss anything as long as it's within the server and channel rules
#gaming for discussion related to anything gaming
Yea sure, but here's some problems :
You can't exactly rely on people themselves to report other people messages of which are sexually suggestive, etc... or off topic discussions
When :
A good amount of people on discord, don't even know how alot of its inner stuff works (Getting their own user ID for one, etc..)
And rarely would anyone actually go out of their way to report someone for doing bad stuff when they don't get ANYTHING in return for it, i'm sorry but we live in a society here.
Note : These examples could not be the best ones, but considering how alot of the channels are just media spam, bot spam, etc... I just genuinely cannot be bothered to scroll up further
#endfield message
This one sexually suggestive gif here was sent MULTIPLEE TIMES in general(I've already included this in my previous posts), none of which are deleted.
#help message This one explains itself, I would've ignored this till he made it weirder
#help message Someone posting a picture of someone saying a racial slur in a HELP CHANNEL (Ik its not him saying it directly but showing a pic of someone saying it is also not a good idea)
People are just beginning to say wtv the hell they wanted, Feedback ISNT the only sole problem of off topic discussions when it happens basically anywhere else, hell even in channels like help/lore.People hate it but genuinely we cannot be bothered to go out of our way and report every single one we see
Nothing much is getting done about this and honestly? I don't really know how to solve this, but you can start off by removing the . gyat bot command (I don't know why this exists, its doing more bad than good if you actually care about enforcing the 2nd rule
Get a better moderation team
Criticism is for the purposes of improving the game. Such as discussing aspects that feel shallow or finding various ways to make aspects like combat or factory building more fun or complex or accessible. Additionally, there was a feedback thread that were discussing technical issues with the game, which although extremely streamlined, still had certain issues with specific processors.
No one has ever improved in the absence of criticism, whether self imposed, or from others. Excessive and exclusive praise is the true cancer. While praise is indeed healthy for a game, so developers know which aspects to prioritize. Making an official channel that doesn't allow for organized criticism at all is a breeding ground for stagnation, a true cancerous behavior. Criticism is healthy, it's a sign the players haven't been indoctrinated or brainwashed by the developers, excessive criticism is what is bad.
The best parents, mentors, teachers, students, employees, artists, engineers, etc. are always those that aren't afraid of criticism. And besides, if such a channel is used to "circle-jerk", as some individuals put it, the fact that it exists in an official server means that there will be those that push back against such comments. The simple fact that current players, praisers, and critics exist in the same space is sufficient to ensure that such a "vent" channel cannot be used for true "circle-jerk" behavior.
Additionally, while the argument for a "vent" thread being used to spread toxicity is true, it would also allow people to, well . . . vent. And in most cases, getting things off your metaphorical chest is better than allowing it to pile up and amplify. Regulation is better than restriction. If people want to vent, they will find someplace to vent. Regardless of whether they are restricted or not. A dedicated channel will enable people to "get things off their chest" before it becomes volatile, and before that toxicity accrues to unhealthy levels.
how to send feedback
by ingame surveys, consider this server as nonexistent for providing feedback, because it solely exist for letting you feel that you are helpful in some way lol

You were spamming, get over it. And considering how you keep copy/pasting the same message in here I would easily believe you were at fault. 😛
Also to add onto what I said previously, cause seems the point was missed. Criticism for the game is fine, that’s what the Game Feedback section is for. Literally NOTHING is stopping anyone from giving criticism.
So it’s pointless to ask for a Criticism channel of any kind when A) that clearly already exists and B) any other Criticism channel would not be getting pulled for the Devs to see and so the utility or value of having such a space becomes lost, it’s meaningless.
As such, the ONLY reason or the ONLY thing having a “Criticism” channel could ever achieve, is cultivating toxicity and creating a hate community where people who feel ways about the game ONLY care about the SOCIAL aspect which is attention seeking behavior which always leads to clout chasing and culminating in an echo chamber where people trashing the game get rewarded socially by the group and dissenters get dogpiled/bullied because these types never grew out of their high school phase.
BUT.
What WOULD be a good idea. Would be some games that can be played on the discord ;D
Not that I have any idea how to do that though.
Dude what r u yapping about
That’s my first time sending that message in this chat, if ur talking about me saying reply to your mod mail before, that’s because it’s a genuine problem when the server says use the mod mail to contact staff and you don’t get a response for MULTIPLE DAYS. You’ve probably never used that feature so I genuinely don’t care what you have to say. Also skipper said my requests were getting marked as spam so I wouldn’t even have gotten an answer if I didn’t post in here so plz keep ur mod boot licking to yourself. Also notice how my message has 4 agreement reactions. It’s not just me that has that opinion on the moderation team.
Good thing you’re not a staff member and I wasn’t talking to you 😛
It seems my point was misunderstood. The feedback channel is for feedback, not discussion of feedback, which is now, unfortunately, impossible in that section. Again, venting in a dedicated space is not necessarily a breeding ground for toxicity. It can help people get something off their chest, deal with frustrations or get help if applicable. And while criticism is possible in the feedback thread as is. Due to limited size, the deeper nature and potential complexities of some complaints may be lost, as users are unable to finish their full thoughts.
Additionally, in depth critical discussion is impossible in the current arrangement, or disrespectful to other threads. As those threads are often used for other purposes are aren't meant for such discussions. Additionally, "toxicity" is only an issue if players start trying to mock or belittle other players, not the game itself. While some criticism is admittedly over the top or non productive. Most criticism of the game itself is fairly healthy, and the sign of a good community. After all, criticism is extremely useful for improvement of anything, whether it be related to games or not. And in depth discussion of criticism is vital to refining it into something actionable or capable of implementation, rather than just vague pointers.
And it's better to have this criticism and venting in a public server, where people with all sorts of viewpoints can see and provide feedback rather than some private server, where the "circle-jerk" behavior will truly be able to fester. Keeping it visible and ensuring that there will be dissenters is the best way to prevent the negative feedback loops that result in toxicity. Bottling these emotions up won't stop toxicity.
Also, @serene root is it possible to get some sort of "vent" or "critical discussion" thread? Or a forum of some kind?
can we have new sticker? thank you
Hi who do we ask if we need something in a specific chat pinned?
Can we get a discussion channel?? #endfield is too chaotic to get any civil conversations. There's legit nowhere now to discuss the overall game/general opinions etc. I don't get why we're being silenced??
discussion channels:
anything gaming related discussion channel (including arknights endfield)
also @manic star you may just ping a moderator
I think we were chatting too much. Sadly the general chat is brain rot spam. Just flooded with the most random memes and weird off topic whatever.
Saying anything in the general chat gets automatically drowned by the sheer volume of brain rot.
So how can we discuss topics and not get flooded with absolute brain rot?
very off topic, but, for the love of god and everything holy, please stop fucking minimodding
not even gonna give my thoughts on why those channels dont function as alternative general chats, because i dont its worth my time explaining to you
The root of the venting is that people care. You don't want to knock that over.
The real issue is right at the start and that shapes your impression for the future. The "best argument" (the quotation marks do a lot of the heavy lifting) I've ever heard always boiled down to "it has to be bad, it is always bad at the start". A random sidequest being bad is not a problem. The main line's presentation being bad is.
It not being easy to double check what was fixed in the meantime (handing in items instead of being forced to build machinery that you already had up and running for the last few days was definitely a good fix) makes it worse.
Having to accommodate people with drastically different expectations (not skill levels, literally coming in for different games) then pulling them up to the same level is also difficult, but it is worth trying.
Yeah, the core reason for venting and criticism is because people care too much, not because of hate or something similar. People want to see a game succeed, so they'll point out everything they see that's an issue and pray the devs figure out how to patch or resolve it.
And if there is a venting channel here, it can be pretty certain that the toxicity and negativity won't spiral out of control.
While there are dedicated side channels, I want to bring up that there isn't a dedicated forum or discussion channel, which is what I am asking to be added. Those side channels are better left to other purposes rather than critical discussion of game systems, story, optimization, etc.
https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/956086673530314832, https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1477684761387339836, and https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1477685032306086102, aren't exactly discussion channels, or are dedicated to discussion. As critical discussion does pertain to game systems, lore, etc. so off-topic isn't really appropriate. And infra-station and qingbo-stockade are really more for general socialization. And the lore-room isn't appropriate either because discussing criticism isn't the same as lore.
So can we please get a discussion thread, or a vent thread?
Supervisors please if you care about keeping your moderation team clean and fair, do something about mods like Mitemi and Pomme they have been doing nothing but abusing their powers and I have sufficient evidence
Finally some who gets it, I compare these type of server to giving an unplugged controller to your lil bro to make them thing they are playing
@gray flower @wild zodiac Wait, the discord isn’t read by the devs? Then what’s the point of the feedback threads? Dammit.
Well this is unfortunate, and quite embarrassing.
So let me get this straight;
basically someone made this Arknights Endfield discord before the Devs could. Now they’re the “official” discord channel.
Basically because they made this before the Devs could, they were given positions as “Community Managers”
So the devs don’t actually read the discord. Information is simply relayed to them by these “Community Managers” kinda like selecting what they personally agree with and sharing that specifically. Kinda like a heavily biased filter…
I believe this discord server is official since i personally joined this server before the server icon became perlica. So theres no way people that arent affiliated with HG made this discord server before the official endfield announcement, so that means it should be that this is an actual official discord rather than what you are implying that somebody made a discord server for endfield and thus HG officials “rolled” with this already established discord server
make you feel better idk. The only tool that works you have is ingame surveys as west player. take it or leave it i guess.
Server is official, but thinking that feedback there will be read by devs is quite naive.
Yeah confirms that only a handful of threads had actual use and the one I was in also got shut down (discussing what to write into the survey). Good. Muting the entire game feedback channel then to reduce noise.
“We wanna discuss!”
No, you want to complain. And you specifically want to do it in the official discord cause you want attention from strangers on the internet. You don’t even care about whether or not the devs see your criticism, that was just the convenient excuse to justify what you’re actually wanting.
Now we’ve shifted gears to hyper fixating on the origins of the discord server. Sounding like a bunch of conspiracy theorists, like ain’t no way this is healthy behavior. What’s wrong, going through serotonin withdrawal? It’s one of the four happy chemicals the brain makes, similar to dopamine, and it stems from social interactions in a group when you feel others acknowledge, agree with or praise you. It’s actually the motivating reason behind this kind of behavior. Ya’ll just need to detox so your levels return to normal.
“We are being silenced! We are being oppressed by the Mods!”
The Mods are Saints, if you folks were being this obtuse and confrontational on any of the forums I was Admin of in the past I woulda long since Thanos snapped the lot of you by now. Just saying. Ya’ll be acting cray cray.
It’s super simple. You want something? You need to demonstrate the value/utility of said thing.
You want to give feedback to the devs? You already can.
You want to discuss/give criticism/vent/rage about aspects of the game? You already can, there’s multiple channels for that.
You wanting an echo chamber for yourselves to nest in and seize control of as your personal hangout has zero merit. Think about it, why are the other channels not good enough for you? It’s because they aren’t filled primarily with folks who wanna obsess over trashing the game. THAT IS the topic you all want. Period. Don’t deny it. You want an Anti-fan Community, and you want to use the official discord to cultivate it.
Go do something else with your time. Or just make your own discord and invite the same ilk to join it. Boom, problem solved. You can all then circle jerk in private then.
Can we get discussion channel? I mean general chat but only talking about endfield. I don't understand why mod keep #endfield its chaotic.
Sounds like you got a lot of issues when it comes to people in general and love to lump in anyone into the same group simply cause "Why not I don't like them" The point of everyone "reeeeeeing" about feedback isn't to foster a hate community like this is some asinine racial hating group or violent gamer group hell bent on ruining the game.
No, Feedback is a must this day and age in the gaming community. Regardless of your own personal bias or opinions. Without feedback many games have gone on to die for simply ignoring the fans and or making things that the fans of the games do not want.
Issue is there is so much stupidity and toxicity in the server in many areas. Not just here but even in other servers. Little is being done about it besides being told to report it and from there its a hit or miss on if things get removed or people get warned.
Feedback has gone off-topic in SO many feeds and yet that still gave people more sense of a proper community even if you wish to call it a "circle jerk" simply by people not wanting to interact with the obnoxious others in the server.
If anything, Feedback should be back open for people to give feedback and the mods should instead of outright banning or 24hr or more time outs for going off-topic, should actively jump in and say "Hey, knock it off, if you don't we will implement a slow mode and or time you out if you keep going.
Many people are not satisfied with the game, simply due to that, you would wish them to shut the fuck up and bend the knee to those who love the game and glaze it to high hell. That's nothing but blatant 1984 style BS.
Mods are fine but not when things are handled shittily and things are not dealt with in a timely manner. Sure they have lives or jobs outside the server, they chose to be a mod though... Thus the server lies in their hands regardless of how I, you, and others fight or bitch or cry and or complain. Or sus stuff. Sucks for people but it is what it is.
Up to them how it runs.
I do know you people want new channel. but can you guys not drag #endfield channel into this?
Just because yours got nuked or something, it doesn't justify to destroy other's places.
If you’re annoyed don’t take it out on others. Literally personal emotional responsibility.
Getting upset over people having discussions in the feedback section is immature. You might not feel included but no one is intentionally trying to harm or reject you.
L
The entire point of a discussion channel here, in this specific server, is to prevent “circlejerk”. Sure, we could make our own channel, but that would only amplify negative opinions without any sort of moderation. The reason why there should be some sort of discussion thread in this primary server is entirely to prevent such “circle-jerk” behavior. Here, surrounded by so many people, even the most negative opinions will likely be dulled and reigned in. In a more private server, they may be amplified to an unhealthy degree. I personally don’t want to only be surrounded by people who agree. I want a discussion, not a “circle-jerk” session. And that by definition requires at least some dissenters, people with slightly or significantly different opinions.
Additionally, just because a separate server is made doesn’t mean people will actually join. For good reason. Joining random discord servers is highly suspicious, and can potentially enable people to be hacked, which I have some experience with. Better to stick with a verified server. There’s also the aspect of visibility. Private servers are, well private. It’s hard to get more people into the discussion. On a public, verified server though, many people can see, join, and continue discussions.
In summary, I want to discuss a topic I care very much about without bothering anyone who doesn’t want to be bothered, and without “circle-jerking” behavior. Despite what some users may believe.
So I will ask again. Can we please get some sort of discussion thread, or some forum.
( Also the REAL evidence for abuse of power was obviously the attempt at taking bestgirl status away from Fangyi, frfr )
this sums it up perfectly
the truth will set you free, this discords is negligible and inconsequential, its only actual function that matters are the game announcements, just accept that and be happy
At this point ya'll just love to yap pointlessly, crazy that this channel hasnt been locked down as fast as the "feedback" ones already.
Hi, actually discord feedback here and not just arguing, I read someone else’s comment on a similar topic a few days ago and I wanted to share my own opinion on it: I think it’d be great to re-write some of the server rules to be more specific. In particular what stood out to me was Rule 2. including “No sexually suggestive content” being very vague especially in, well, a gacha game. Especially given that some of the official ads themselves may be interpreted as being “sexually suggestive,” some users may get reported for sending official game content in the official game discord server, which would be very… strange.
~~Also, potentially a helper role/system for trustworthy regulars in the “Help and Guides” category, as that could help combat the chaos and misinfo that occasionally takes place in there. I don’t believe tying any permissions to the title would be necessary, but just the idea of some kind of authority would help given the limited moderation power as of now. Of course there runs the issue of ego, but I think that’s an inevitable issue with any “unique” title.
@green turret personally, I believe some extent of elitism is natural in community-sourced help channels, and I agree with its presence as long as it's not blown out of proportion and properly backed by proof and results. Not the "my strategy is better than yours" type of elitism, but the "your strategy is objectively worse that what's optimal" elitism; even if the person saying it isn't personally running that "optimal strategy," just that they know it's true.~~
Edit: It's come to my attention that Skipper's already made a statement on the addition of a helper role/system so I'll strike that out.
from what i know helpers and guides wouldnt be implemented as they breed some sort of elitism towards those persons. thats why its not implemented for now
my sticker didn't get added. I'm salty and I blame the drama going on here
It’s only pointless if you’re reading without actually caring about the topic. In which case you’re just being a busy body.
@dull forum Can we get a critical discussion or "vent" channel of some kind? It seems unfitting to discuss this type of topic in the other outpost threads, given what's already going on there. And https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/956086672418832394 is unoptimal due to the sheer volume of messages sent. Discussion also seems unfitting for https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/956086673530314832, due to being complex enough to potentially drown out all other topics in that thread, and also doesn't seem right for https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/956086674729865226, since it isn't just lore.
@grok can you summarize what's happening here
-# Guy who made inflammatory "feedback" posts to farm attention (and admitted to doing so) is angry that the feedback channel was made into an actual feedback channel for suggestions and bug reports instead of just nonstop complaining.
On a side note, I made two fairly straightforward calculators—one for pull income (https://www.desmos.com/calculator/dbnfyzk7ym) and one for essence etching (https://www.desmos.com/calculator/xbb1s4tukb) with plans on making more for gear artificing, damage calculations, and the credit store (albeit that last one might be more of a community data-gathering project than a calculator)—would it be possible for them to be added to the list of pinned resources in #help?
Grok says 8 people are bigmad cause they can’t get a personal space to hate post the game. There’s like 2-3 of them who keep using “feedback is important for the game doh” as justification for said space even though the devs wouldn’t be looking at it, and when any of us point out the fact they can currently give feedback that the devs will actually see, they legit just ignore us saying that and instead do some performative fake outrage.
TLDR: Crybullies are salty and the greatest casualty was Bronya’s sticker.
Server Rule #2 - Explicit content is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to NSFW or disturbing material.
This includes any pornographic, gory, violent, self-harm, sexually suggestive, shocking, or otherwise inappropriate content. Such content is not permitted in any form, including text, images, audio, links, usernames, nicknames, profiles, or attempts to conceal it using spoilers or other methods. There is zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes minors or minor-like characters.
oh this is actually quite cool
do note if it contains malware or whatever I'm banning you immediately
Apologies for the ping, the Pull Income Calculator has an ")" too much at the end of the link in the pinned #help message, so it does not link properly
Thanks for pointing it out
Stricter rule enforcement in help channels, it is incredible difficult to help people when they get confused with speculations/leaks and get flooded with loads of off-topicism making Q&A's harder to read.
That's so "cray cray" as you call it. Honestly, all I hear from you is crying and trying to bait people and call people out. If I recall it's against the rules to do so. Even I had been told to stop the same shit before. Wild, I know right? Like wow. Grok would tell you to go back to your rock studies over crying online at people wanting to give feedback or talk like a community and not deal with obnoxious people like you from what I'm hearing.
How about at this point in time, people accept the fact the mods don't wanna do shit to cater to any of us here besides their own agenda and will from what I know, ignore a lot of things and only take reports serious if you actually report it in their right way? Being a mod is a boys/gals club also. Everyone who has been on Discord long enough and with a speck of a brain knows this. Kitten and Boot Licker wasn't a coined term for no reason after all.
Regardless, crazy coming from me, I hope this channel gets locked down as well with a longer slow mode and all discussions removed at this point if all it is, is people like you and other little groupie like people, hopping in here only to actually cry and not give a feedback in the Discord feedback channel and or legit comments on why certain things would be good or bad. Not the bitchy fit you be throwing for attention seeking. Yeah, I just called your ass out twice for doing the same thing you have been trying to make fun of people for. Wonder how well it's worked with all the clown reacts and many people ignoring you as well.
Wild you block people for calling you out and them making sense only to then turn around and try to keep ripping into them to others. Literal Reddit/X behavior on the degree of a child's temper tantrum.
Can we get this channel dealt with at this point as well mods? You know people are going to keep talking here as well and do nothing but non stop bitch, not make it a feedback place but another off topic.
I may not like yall, but gods this is stupid.
I usually don't use ai but this is such a funny drama it deserves a meme.
On a serious note though can we stop on this already.. you spoke enough for the staff to see. If they don't do anything you want then so be it, you can't force and you cant keep talking here because it won't change anything.
Feel like it's about time to actually send out warns if people keep using this channel to keep arguing. Well.. unless you're okay with leaving this as it is now. Even the beta tester role drama took less time to calm down.
( Why did I get pinged? I was just innocently relaying what Grok said. TruFax. )
damn... even AI ignore my sticker 😭
If I wanted to hate post this game, I can just go to the comment section of a Saintontas video, or in his actual discord. Unfortunately, neither are options, because I want to discuss things with people and get things off my chest, not blindly hating on a game. I'm here for discussion, not hateposting, there is in fact a difference. And I would rather not disrupt or kill the other topics going on in other threads, which is why I would prefer some dedicated discussion channel.
It seems some individuals are under the impression that criticism of any kind outside the feedback will inevitably lead to hate posting. Which is not really true, because all the actual hate posters are elsewhere.
On another note, most venters in my experience tend to be fairly civil, and they will only be more civil if their comments are public, forcing them into private servers or spaces to vent will only increase, not decrease, toxicity.
Also can @lean citrus get that sticker, because it actually looks quite interesting. If nothing else, at least let that guy get their sticker
Holy shit what happened here, last time I left it was about us making funny gif commands and stickers 💔
Anyways make baldlicka a thing
half the chat is people spamming gifs and images lol, now i understand why space engineers discord implemented a limit on how many you can post and whethery they are offtopic or not
can we pin endfield bookkkeeeping in help channels? it shows catalogue of pulls per patch as per genshin and hsr. and the creator made one for endfield as well. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zGNuQ53R7c190RG40dHxcHv8tJuT3cBaclm8CjI-luY/
Baldlicka 🗣️ 🔥 🔥 make it real skipper
Oh wait, nvm wrong channel
💔
Pull income?
yeps. left is endfield, right is currently HSR as reference

@oak gyro kalau di bilang jangan ngeyel bro nanti ku banned
doesn't this fall under sexual suggestiveness? #endfield message
I'm so sorry for being a lurker
0 messages prior to this message, nice alt
@marble verge you giving me the skibidi head?
Breaking the rules yourself and doubling down on it seems to be an acceptable behavior for a "supervisor", how peculiar. You're giving me head next, right?
can we get option to link our discord account and game together so that it shows up in our status when we are playing like many other games
@outer veldt Skipper i'm a little confused on the recent post on the modmail bot and it's purpose of it. So we cant use it for channel rule violations but only for support and inquiries. Shouldnt the bot be renamed to support then? Every other server ive been in pushes the idea of using the modmail bot for server violations. And if not the bot, whats the correct way of reporting rule breaking?
As explained in serve rule #11 in #server-guidelines , modmail is mainly for contacting mods where your reports need further context (i.e. you get harassed outside of the server) as well as server related inquiries (contacting mods to link your server to #frontiers-hub, ask for artist role etc). You can also use it to report server rule violation as well as appeal for your warnings, but these types of modmails typically wont receive a reply unless your appeal is accepted due the volume of modmail that we receive everyday. For reporting messages that don't require further context, you use the report button by right clicking the message > apps > flag for mod review.
Pretty sure you can manually add Endfield to your Discord activity
So we are fine to use modmail for reports that are not as simple as a single obvious rulebreaking message?
E.g. help channel misinfo?
the more i read the more i see how braindead this discord is even for a gacha game, If hypergryph wanted to attract people like this then they deserve the worst
Yeap
i think adding flex channel on discord is nice for people to show there pull and what they got ^^
put this as an emote here
The "Spotlight Events" channel category is misspelled as "Spolt"light Events.
EDIT: Thanks for the fix!
On topic of modmail, can I get at least some type of response to my message in modmail
Initially asked at 06.03, repeated question at 10.03 and then today I did again just in case.
I have no doubt that modmail might be busy place, but not that busy
I like the new Game Feedback section.
But the Template still looks setup for only presenting issues instead of also allowing for positive feedback or new idea suggestions. Would it be possible to have it revised a little?
I'll check once available
I'll look into them again
But you can use it anyway you like as long as it follows the rule
Hello Hypergryph Team,
I am a dedicated fan of Arknights: Endfield and I would like to formally request that you consider adding the game to the NVIDIA GeForce Now platform.
Many players, including myself, do not have access to high-end gaming hardware but would love to experience Arknights: Endfield at its fullest potential through cloud gaming. GeForce Now would make the game accessible to a much wider audience worldwide, which I believe would greatly benefit both the community and the game's growth.
I sincerely hope that Hypergryph will consider partnering with NVIDIA to bring Arknights: Endfield to GeForce Now in the near future. I appreciate your hard work on the game and look forward to your response.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Server suggestion: If someone steps on a landmine, they can be healed by a user who has a healer operator using a command (healer operators are given randomly to users who comment, in the same way that landmines work. You can only have 3 healer operators)
1 min slowmode powercreeps landmines. Buff landmines.
<@&956153874383781928> when will the VC's become available its been ages
suggestion: please lower the slowmode in #endfield. doesnt have to be that much, but even 30 seconds would be a MASSIVE improvement over the current minute long slowmode.
- theyve been adding new mod trainees, but they probably will never open unless they have constant mods to monitor, which is probably no for now
@split granite pre 1.1 its 5 seconds but since most people will talk about 1.1 by a lot, its increased to prevent clogging
Hello Endfield Team,
I'm really excited about Arknights: Endfield! I would like to suggest adding the game to the NVIDIA GeForce NOW library. It would be amazing to play this masterpiece on any device via the cloud.
Keep up the great work!
We often get the usual 4-pictures scam messages in #lore-room and for a while I've flagged them for moderation review, while some ping the moderator role.
I know we also have the #do-not-post-or-get-beaned channel, which I assume is for stuff like those.
I was wondering what the preferred action for moderation team would be?
both is acceptable, but it's recommended to simply report the message by flagging it, if it isn't gone after a minute or so, as that's what the function is meant for
I’m not sure if you’re meaning to keep it there(updating it for future maintenance), but this is still in pins for #endfield
made this, thought I'd leave it here if we ever need new emotes or something
Put it into the next feedback form. That will be better.
uh guys i got a problem, since i had to delete 1 of my past accounts for some reasons, i forgor to leave this server and now it seems like i have an alt here which could cause confusion, is there any way it can be removed? it's Kupon but with the angry decoration
if you have confirmed you have deleted the account and chose not to roll back the choice, then it will take discord X amount of days to actually delete it (it will send you an email or something).
after that if it pass the amount the X days, your alt acc here will show up as deleted_user if i recall, it will not be any username...
How long is the spoiler window? Should it be aroudn a week or ten days considering theres no concrete guideline as to how long the spoiler window is for general story related discussions outside loreroom
ik but jus wanted to not seem like an alt
Dear mods, I’m being trolled, harassed, targeted by a user. They have not made their intentions clear or known but have constantly stalking my engagement on this discord server and reacting to my interactions with the 🤡
@oblique current, from what i've seen there isn't any intentional targeting from the user that's doing this, as they've only reacted to a handful (5~) of messages from you throughout the server, primarily in the #1481339209208959107 channel with similar reactionary emojis.
these actions might be considered negative, as they're also doing the same for everyone else across the game feedback channel, and the intention behind their actions could just be to antagonize other members without providing any helpful feedback, but at the same time reactions are also a natural part of discord.
if you really have an issue with their behavior you can create a report which contains additional information by messaging @wintry mantle, and the mods will eventually review it, deciding if their behavior is reasonable and within the rules or possibly conclude that it's causing too much trouble for users, after which they may decide to warn/punish the member depending on the severity of their actions
I'm constantly getting friend requests from, presumably, bots or scam accounts which only share this server with me. I'd love it if firsthand actions can be taken before they start shooting out thousands of friend requests, thank you.
block -> report to modmail
can't I access this part again? i have a chest in here but i finished all quest leading to this place so I can't activate the water level thing... i always focus on quest first before chest
There's a panel on the other level
uhh
add a new role called unhelpful which basically prevent the one who have that role being unable to chat in #help
<@&1464852582718767300> already exists for this purpose, you can report any unhelpful or negative messages from members in help channels by right-clicking on their message, and using the Apps > Flag for Moderator Review function to report it
if additional information or context is helpful regarding the reported member, you can send a message to @wintry mantle and mods will eventually review it
We can't even use the Apps>Report thing in the feedback forums in the first place. Why was it removed again?
Using the excuse that reactions are a natural part of Discord isn't a valid reason to allow toxic and harassing behavior. People are using it to be unnecessarily rude to others instead of just having proper discussions. At this point maybe it's better the replies get closed again in that forum if you won't moderate it, because it's not really constructive conversation, just people being hostile.
Whoops, turned on now
Disabled because people keep using the old feedback forum as offtopic channel and used bot commands there
the most insignificant feedback in the history of the concept of feedback but skipper forgor to format the playstation headline in #game-faq
tbf who owns ps5 fixed
i have to feedback this hero npc ** " tangtang "** kind weird during rest.
There is a quest to access, i remember that its related to some kind of collect the device under the 2 canals
Is this the right place to suggest ideas? A memes channel would be good for chuckles, thanks!
A channel for posting videos would be nice. like for content creators
are we bringing VCs anytime soon
Content creators need a dedicated space and status so they can post their videos on Discord
Please update images. And can you add a discord widget like Wuthering waves?
Hi! I’m playing on a laptop and getting a "High risk of video card overload" warning.
Specs:
CPU/GPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7430U with Radeon Graphics (Integrated)
VRAM: 4GB (Allocated)
Screen: 16-inch
Controller: Sony DualSense
The game struggles with VRAM allocation on this mobile chipset even on low settings. Would love to see some optimization for integrated AMD chips! Thanks!#enfild
Hi! I’m playing on a laptop and getting a "High risk of video card overload" warning.
it's a frequent warning which notifies you when increasing certain settings which might "overload" your system, regardless if your system is capable of running the current configurations, so i wouldn't pay too much attention to it
The game struggles with VRAM allocation on this mobile chipset even on low settings. Would love to see some optimization for integrated AMD chips! Thanks!#enfild
you may also post any game-related suggestions you have in the forums channel #1481339209208959107 👍
a channel for posting arknights memes
post those memes in #endfield or #off-topic

Please disable emoji reactions in feedback channels. Force people to actually respond instead of spamming
Update .umbral
Why there is not laevatain sticker?
I actually support this idea too. It’s pretty obvious some people even just abuse the feature to try and troll/rage bait others.
Moreover, there are people who asks on how to even start artificing in the first place. Therefore, I've created this gear artificing tutorial to help people to begin artificing their gear. Is it possible to pin this in #help or put it in #general-guides-archive ?
Who made this
im the creator of this guide
Go post them in #help and I'll pin
reacting w emojis can work as a way for voting for feedbacks ( image ), and honestly, nobody's life is going to end because someone reacted with a crying emoji in a chat where there are practically no side conversations.
Just because someone thinks it's funny to react with nonsensical emojis, voting for the removal of reacting to "vote" is quite absurd
Its a feedback section. The Up and Down votes have no bearing on whether or not its being pulled to give to the Devs for review. So it loses the Utility aspect to justify keeping it.
Meanwhile, on the other hand while it lacks any good reason to keep it, it has already been cited as something being abused in a way that conflicts with the Discord rules. If there are people exploiting a feature to try and cause issues or harass other users, but its not something you can ban someone over because technically they aren't saying anything, doesn't change the fact its still being used to violate the rules.
So if people can't be responsible with their toys, then the toys should just be taken away. And Discord allows you to change permissions for that feature on a per channel basis, so you could disable Emote Reactions for the Feedback channels, and leave it enabled for the rest of the server.
Then what else? The only other option I can think of is limiting the types of reactions that can be given to either upvotes or downvotes.
@sacred monolith While I do agree that people should respond, the issue right now is that the amount of responses to an initial post are limited to 100 I believe, in order to prevent feedback posts from becoming too long. So without the reactions, there isn't any way to actually gauge whether a suggestion is actually popular or not.
Because without the reactions, the only thing left to gauge the popularity of a suggestion is the number of times its posted, which is unfavorable
"Its a feedback section. The Up and Down votes have no bearing on whether or not its being pulled to give to the Devs for review."
Excuse me but is this your opinion or was it said by someone responsible for the server? I can't imagine someone in charge saying that votes won't be considered for anything. if they didn't consider votes important for potential change, why would they even open this chat?
Many servers use bots to check for feedback that has many positive reactions and thus scale them to gain better visibility. Just because this type of bot isn't present here doesn't mean this tool is useless. Opinions are never useless.
If you are concerned about the well-being of the server's audience, wanting to remove possible mechanics that could be used to spread hate, start by discussion chats, removing stickers, removing reactions, and so on until every chat channel are completely removed.
People will not stop spreading hate because one tool is available or not; that will not change their objective here. If you want the well-being of the server, ask for an improvement in moderation, as I did previously, and not for the removal of tools that allow the exchange of opinions and dialogue.
As yourself said in the last paragraph, ask to remove the permission of sending stickers & reactions, but only for those who do not know how to use them responsibly, not for the ENTIRE server.
The Feedback Section is not a popularity contest.
You have zero ability to dictate what the Devs see or don't see, there are people TAKING the Feedback posts and giving them to the Devs. The only way to control the feedback itself is to somehow stop people from making the posts to begin with. Once the post is made, it doesn't matter how many Reacts there are or how much arguing is done in the thread, you won't stop that Feedback from going through. Just like we can't stop what gets put as Feedback on those in-game surveys.
Therefore, there is no Utility/Value to the Reacts. There is ONLY the expressed desire to react to something without actually writing or just looking to harass users. Honestly, I'm fine with going back to when you couldn't respond at all to a Feedback post. The Utility for allowing responses is at least something that makes logical sense, since yeah the text limit on Discord is absurd.
Also its not my job to make sure people are reading what the Discord staff is saying. Have you ever tried doing a search in this channel to see what all Dark Mask has said in here? The number of times they've had to repeat themselves aside (Which I guess is the real issue going on here frfr).
Where did YOU ever get the idea "VOTES" were even a thing in the feedback section? And before you answer that, pause for a moment to consider the implication there. What would stop me from gathering my friends to brigade feedback and rule with an iron fist by leveraging sheer numbers to up/down vote whatever I wanted? Why do you think anyone would ever design a system with that glaring of a vulnerability to exploit? This isn't how game feedback works. There's a reason why the FIRST forum rule is literally about making sure feedback is constructive, substantive and detailed and why you should also be checking to make sure you don't duplicate the feedback of someone else. Where do you see anything about votes?
(Also sorry if this seemed abrasive, just got off work.)
i don't personally care about negative reactions or ragebait messages, but if multiple server members have obviously expressed that it's causing problems or inconveniences for them in a place where drama and contention is explicitly meant to be avoided, and the negativity isn't benefiting anyone, i don't see any actual reason to advocate for the allowance of this behavior
if there's a server member that's spreading negativity, contention, and is instigating members who are only trying to share their feedback, it's reasonably simple enough to ask the member to stop or remove reaction permissions altogether if it's a serious problem
i'll also mention that there's been at least a dozen feedback contributors who have expressed disapproval or annoyance in response to the negative reactions that are causing issues in the forums, which has already been proven as it ended up stoking the fire for the largest channel argument in the current version's feedback forums, which resulted in a locked post due to extended misuse
Server Member:
"Dude like who tf started with this ||⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀|| emojis like wtf, im I the villain for reacting on toxic behave with toxic behave like use your brain dude at this point mic drop ."
"ive just responded in a way normal person would respond to - These fk emoji’s, you somehow don’t seems to have awareness if you guys gonna spam Clown emojis on a a take that want to make the game better deserves a response that I’ve gave you it is how it is men."
there's no point in allowing negative behavior if members are continuing to troll and instigate other users, as the easiest solution would be reminding them and others to keep reactions positive, pursuing a channel ban or disallowing reactions if they continue, so that way the feedback forums are less toxic and a more welcoming place for people to share and report their concerns
-# additional notices: #off-topic message
Since the first Discord update, I haven't seen any more problems.
"The only way to control the feedback itself is to somehow stop people from making the posts to begin with." alright close it? All this time I've been speaking in favor of emojis; I haven't commented at all on the making of feedback or what it entails;
"There is ONLY the expressed desire to react to something without actually writing or just looking to harass users." Are you saying that removing reactions will make people stop harassing others? Next thing you want is to remove permission to post images because there are scam bots and people posting sensitive/NSFW content.
"Also its not my job to make sure people are reading what the Discord staff is saying. Have you ever tried doing a search.." is not my job. you literally said.
@blazing hearth I'm in favor of more moderation, the problem is that as long as they favor restrictions on communication, it's very likely that they'll soon be removing basic permissions like external emojis, stickers, and photos in the name of "security"
Removing reactions or not won't stop people from spreading hate. this is want i want yall to understand
I've been on two large game servers where they simply deleted chat channels that weren't focused on English just because there was too much hate being shared. Instead of increasing moderation, they simply deleted them bc don’t had anyone to mod
I think you might be confused. No one is saying to close the feedback channel. This ONLY pertains to disabling Emote Reactions to messages within the Feedback section. Literally no one is talking about anything you're being on about. And it actually is your job as a member of the Discord to make sure you are reading the rules. Now I'm curious, are you saying that because you just realized you yourself have no idea how you came to the notion that voting with emotes in Feedback was a thing or not? Did you just assume that to be the case but don't want to admit it?
Also, can we not with the slippery slope argument? I really don't think you need to be that level of paranoid about the Discord staff here...
It would be nice to use Unix Timestamp when you post news or announcement so everyone can see the date and hour for updates in their own local time
For exemple ( remove the * ) :
<*t:1774771200:F>
<*t:1774771200:R>
will look like
<t:1774771200:F>
<t:1774771200:R>
you can use a site like this one to easily generate Timestamps
https://www.remote3.co/discord-timestamp-generator
also In the News broadcast category , the french channels are messed up
#annonces should be the french counterpart of #announcement but instead is the counterpart of #game-news where it should be #actualités-du-jeu ( this one is empty btw )
so #announcement doesn't have a french equivalent
#1481339209208959107
Reaction is troll. People dont talk or argue but just click whatever reaction is there. Admin should remove all reactions or somehow limit to 1 upvote reaction
Allow me to suggest my humble homeless Rossi to be added as a sticker
https://files.me/u/krkkk66wka
is it possible to add timestamps that convert into the members time zone in announcements as in #game-news for example?
its such a hassle manually doing that every time
Create optional Asia + Eu roles, where players gets pinged when let's say example Rossi is out.
not really needed to do it that way anymore, discord added a command in '@time' a while back, what does the same, without going the headache of unix timestamp conversion
I second that though, all times should always be with timestamps, since calculating it can be a headache, especially with daylight saving time involved
"Literally no one is talking about anything you're being on about." You literally brought up conversations unrelated to the main topic. At no point did I stray into side conversations and always persisted at the main topic, but you come to say that "The Up and Down votes have no bearing on whether or not it's being pulled to give to the Devs for review." at what point did I mention "dev"? at what point did i mention game surveys?
"but it's not something you can ban someone over because technically they aren't saying anything, doesn't change the fact it's still being used to violate the rules." so you agree that we should close the art channel since there are people sharing "art" of practically semi-nude characters in a place where there are minors?
"Where did YOU ever get the idea "VOTES" were even a thing in the feedback section?" Do I need to explain how an up arrow and a down arrow emoji are used to represent disagreement or approval of an opinion?
"What would stop me from gathering my friends to brigade feedback and rule with an iron fist by leveraging sheer numbers to up/down vote whatever I wanted?" Similarly, nothing prevents you from asking your friends to spread hate in the chat in text format. Reactions or lack thereof don't prevent this; please just give up and agree that only improved moderation will solve this.
@neat lintel Yes, I can imagine that people might use them to mock others, and again, an emoji or not isn't going to make people stop being toxic.
Do you agree with me that, if this way of thinking persists in other chats, soon we'll have to remove stickers and emojis from the general chat because they might convey hate speech?
In addition to what I mentioned to Eva about the art chat, let's imagine a scenario where a random person is reacting to suggestions here with
. It's certainly annoying, but should we remove the perm for everyone to use reactions or simply revoke the person's permission because they're being inconsiderate?
I don't want to have to write 10 to 20 comments, each containing more than 20 lines, to explain why I agree or disagree with an opinion when I can simply react with a ⬇️.
Also consider that there are people who don't know how to express themselves or give opinions based on research, and may feel restricted in giving their opinion on something. However, if they can't support their opinion without having to explain it, their opinion becomes vague.
You literally brought up conversations unrelated to the main topic.
No I didn't? O_o
Are you ok?
At no point did I stray into side conversations
You went off on some crazy rant about removing image permissions and scam bots (???) and NSFW content. That was so out of left field that if it wasn't for the fact you deliberately pinged me in specific I would have thought you were talking to someone else entirely.
at what point did I mention "dev"?
Refer to the screenshot. You were saying the reacts can work for voting and I explained that isn't a thing, was never a thing and could never BE a thing. Because I could just get people in my PSO Guild or the other groups I'm with to brigade the feedback section to essentially rule over it if that was the case. Also when I explained that the voting wasn't a thing, you DID ask if anyone responsible for the Discord had said such. Its not my fault you can't keep track of things you're saying.
Do I need to explain how an
Ok so the answer is yes, you literally just assumed it to be the case.
Similarly, nothing prevents you from
"I" am preventing myself, because its abusive behavior. And because I'm not in high school.
Also stay focused, you're doing it again, who the hell is talking about spreading hate?? Holy crap. Its like you're refusing to engage with the point being made.
agree that only improved moderation will solve this
Which is why the only correct answer is to just disable the Emote React feature for the Feedback section. True. That is indeed improved moderation, glad you agree.
Again I don't think you realize Discord has a toggle switch for each individual channel to turn that feature on and off.
if this way of thinking persists in other chats
STOP TRYING TO DEFLECT OFF INTO SOME OTHER TOPIC. You are obsessed with this Meta debate about turning it into a slippery slope argument. The Feedback Section has ONE function. On those grounds the Reacts are not needed. Period.

Yo can you please fix the feed back threads....why when I click off to another channel it closes every thread I was in? I have to go looking for them again.
@blazing hearth ok either its not working, its broken or emotes dont work...I emoted a comment but when I left, the feedback thread i was in still closed
the discord active thread limit will become more of an issue if the inactivity timer is increased for the feedback forums, which can cause certain oldest threads to get archived accidentally
i don't know how frequently threads are being created across the server right now, so this might not be a pressing issue at the moment, but it could easily become one in the future during certain events and announcements
24 hours should be enough of an increase if it were to get changed
Discord really is one of the worst platforms to try and collect feedback on lol
search for them again, inactive thread are not closed and can be activated again by sending a message there
The current timer is 1hr, and there's really no point in having longer than 1h since there's too many duplicates. The problem is that forum post and threads share the same limit (1000), and we're trying to save as much as we can since we have the blueprint forums.
So many peoples posted inappropriate pictures of some characters underwear, disgusting freaks, please add them to the ban list for better discord conversation 🙏
Not really feedback for discord just a suggestion for the actual game if any Devs are in this discord. Please add a dead zone/stick drift setting in the game for consol users.

i'd recommend messaging @wintry mantle to appeal infractions, sharing a private warning and reposting the exact same message you were warned for previously isn't really the best idea, and it's also against the server rules as listed here
leaving constructive feedback about the server moderation is alright though
LMAO 🤣 good luck
I've brought this up a few times before but I'm once again bringing up about moderation in the English Help channels. At least #help #team-build and #theorycrafting (and notably the latter two) as I don't tend to frequent the others like AIC stuff myself, so cannot comment on how they differ.
As a whole these channels have become pretty poor in quality progressively over time, but in particular more recently over the past few weeks to a month. Misinformation is obviously an issue, but a lesser one compared to lots of cases of people starting arguments or otherwise being hostile to people trying to give or recieve help. More often than not these days it seems like there's always a discussion that gets too heated with neither side conceding, or an argument over something arbitary or otherwise just people making fun or or insulting others for asking for help or giving help that they have some personal disagreement against.
I understand that there's a lack of moderators, particularly for a server this size but it is becoming a huge issue for these channels. A lot of the bigger issues in the channels right now would easily be solved by some amount of extra moderator intervention, even if it's just skimming over the channels every now and again, or if we had some easier way to bring issues to mods attention than pings or modmail. I certainly don't expect anything like misinformation to be solved, particularly by moderators who don't have any interest in this side of the community, but breaking up arguments or stopping people who are being rude or ragebaiting shouldn't require mods dedicated to the help section.
A lot of people are just quitting the help sections due to the poor quality of the channels and so the only regulars that end up being left are to a degree those causing the issues, which only tends to make the problem more apparent each day.
I'm suggesting new tags be added to #1461542035617091681 for the scope of the blueprint. Not quite sure what would be the best tags to add but I will try to explain the reasoning behind this suggestion.
So I think there should be an "all-in-1" tag for those blueprints that covers multiple production lines/everything. Then a "modular/individual" tag for blueprints that cover invidual productions a xiranite forge, or sandleaf farm, etc.
Also thinking there should be a "mixed" tag, especially with how 1.1 is increasing the variety of approaching a production line. Take the SC wuling battery as an example. I've seen blueprints where the xiranite forge is included in the design, or cuprium production for sewage being included or a conduit outlet for it instead. Same with separating the liquid xiranite, xiranite effulent, xircon, and the packing unit. I've seen blueprints where some madmen have it all-in-one just for 1 sc wuling battery production line.
I'm not quite sure how to categorize it, perhaps what's ingame of blueprint tagging of "basic, advanced, complex" or something similar would be better. At the bare minimum I think there should be one separating all-in-one base blueprints from individual production lines.
Added the Modular and All-in-One tag

In the Russian off-topic, a lot of enthusiasts of strange — and sometimes even illegal (judging by the legislation of the Russian Federation) — topics have proliferated. To minimize this kind of activity, I suggest temporarily introducing a 10-minute timeout (slowmode) in the Russian off-topic. This is to encourage more active discussion specifically about the game itself (in the dedicated chats intended for that purpose) and to reduce spam activity.
Can you tell me how to fix it?

Can we get a memes channel?
Maybe formatted as a forum, unless that's too complicated.
meme channels are not a good idea for them as they would need to screen those memes and not every meme has nuance. it can be an echo chamber or used as a chatting room instead of an actual meme channel. send them in #endfield or #off-topic instead

We need 5 min slowmode. Now.
Why is there a VC category but the "Click to create VC" VC is locked?
VC's have been locked to prevent abuse as it's difficult to moderate voice channel conversations in a server as large as this, without essentially having a staff member available to monitor each individual VC at all times, on top of whatever else they're currently doing
it might eventually be unlocked in the future or have restricted member permissions, but right now it'd definitely turn into a nightmare as people would inevitably decide to abuse it
having this will allow us to say "but can they roll though" to everyone who say "Lifeng is useless"

Feedback Title:
Create "Feedback-Archive" and move Feedback-Archive-forums into it.
Description/Details:
I believe current Archived feedback is still a "trap" for others to click on, this may lead to users being confused and/or refusing to provide feedback due to confusion and being unable to share.
This is due:
- The word "Archive" at the end of
game-feedback-ver-zeroth-directive-archive- may not be visible. (1st-screenshot) - E.F.S. - Endfield Systems Bot/app directs you to use archived-forum instead of current one. (2nd-screenshot)
- In future, more archive forums may be shown/visible to other users (increasing confusion) (3rd-screenshot)
Suggested Correction:
Creating "Feedback-Archive" category located directly under "Feedback" category, then moving the "Archived" feedback forums into it.
Updating (and keep updated) E.F.S. Endfield Systems Bot/app's message to link to the current feedback forum
Reason for Correction:
This should let you keep your current design on the Discord as-is, slightly clear it up, and prevent users from going into wrong feedback section to provide the feedback. (4th-screenshot
Thank you for reading. Hope it helps.

It may be useful to temporarily unpin Iana's teambuilding doc from the English help channels (and anywhere else they are linked) as Iana is on a potentially permanent but at the very least current hiatus and hence the content is out of date in several areas.
Would be able to repin it at a later date if they do come back and update it but I cannot comment on what their plans are.
Decent few cases of people asking regarding it so far in aforementioned help channels.
I'll add a deprecated tag
Would it be possible to add a daily login channel with the endfield daily login rewards ping’d everyday a certain time? And a role so people who want to get daily ping get daily ping : D
Rather than feedback about the Discord server itself, this is feedback regarding the promotional images displayed on Discord (see attached image). These are very old photos, and the current visuals bear no resemblance to the images shown there.
As a personal opinion, when a game has eye-catching images in its Discord category, I’m tempted to play it because of how good it looks and how appealing it is.
Don’t want to be mean but there’s plenty of timer / reminder apps out there
Why is the #help channel so poorly moderated? You make the Arknights Official Discord look like heaven in comparison. The channel is frequently not just #endfield but #off-topic and just a generic chat channel. Legitimate help questions frequently get drowned out by conversations and the flag for moderator review doesn't seem to alleviate or bring a mod actively to the channel. Been playing since technical test and this is not the direction I would hope for in an official discord. Please moderator more actively, especially in the critical channels like #help and #team-build
The strictness against both condescending help and unrelated off-topic discussion in the help category needs to be significantly increased. There's very frequently unconstructive or barely helpful messages which are being sent that are often paired with rudeness, alongside misinformation and arguments which commonly result from active members deciding to argue about their own theorycraft for hours instead of helping.
Because of the current leniency, the most active chatters in these channels have become used to participating in very extended off-topic discussion, next to frequent back-and-forths, even during periods of regular server usage. This both reduces the amount of genuine help being seen and increases the off-topic clutter in the help channels, which further turns down newcomers and brews an unhealthy atmosphere between the active chatters and newcomers.
Server members who are found to be repeatedly starting off-topic discussions and arguments, responding to members with condescending or rude messages, alongside jumping into casual/aggressive back-and-forths for up to hours on end, instead of navigating to the respective channels for these conversations such as #team-build, #theorycrafting, or #off-topic if it's an unrelated discussion, should promptly receive the <@&1464852582718767300> role to limit their channel usage if they're unable to stop themselves from participating in this kind of behavior.
I noticed there's a couple threads in the game feedback forum that for some reason don't have any slowmode, and there's one in particular that is getting a rather toxic amount of discussion. Is there a reason those specific threads are exempt from slowmode?
Also the rules include this line
If you believe a rule has been violated, use the Report function (hold/right-click the message → Apps → Flag for Moderator Review)
yet if I try to do that myself it just showsNo Commands Available.
I do think discussion is fine in the game feedback forums, I just much prefer when there's consistently a high slowmode to ensure people put thought into their messages and it doesn't devolve into active arguments.
Remember when the Game Feedback had all discussion disabled? That was 10/10. I vote we go back to that, lol
(Should disable emote reacts too in that channel, that's the peak power level over 9,000 play ;D )

This would help keep the Post formatted and easy to navigate for all users, no matter the device they are on, and also allow me to pin any updates to whatever i have posted
Could we get clown's guide (message above mine) to be pinned replacing Iana's?
I can't link my account neither can someone help?
did the acc link, how i get roll
I still can't get the role
Pins enabled
added to the guide pin master list, but won't replace old one since it already has the deprecated tag
help
Patiently waited my 6 hours to post here haha, i had posted in teambuild but i deleted that and think its best to keep discussion here
apologies for the ping and apologize if i am not meant to, but i am still on c/d in discord feedback (not anymore), the only thing im asking is why ianas is depracated if they officially said they are discontinuing the work, and to my knowledge currently have 0 intentions to continue, the only reason me or anybody else ever suggested for mine to be pinned in #team-build is that a majority of regulars there already link to the sheet when info is asked and prefer to refer to pins instead of having to keep a link saved, the sheet is also partially crowd sourced and written by multiple people who are trusted to ensure that it can be updated quicker and more reliably on people who specialize in certain areas and teams, i am not asking or begging for mine to be pinned if that is what it sound like, simply suggesting it to be pinned in #team-build for ease of access to people looking for quick info and im simply looking for general info on the case, i am not sure if you were only thinking about #help and not #team-build in which we are mentioning, due to iana having their pin completely removed from that channel, not depricated, thank you
Looks better now.
Hello,
I still have the problem with the Awaken Role for days now.
I already got the reward for the connection ingame, but i still cant claim the role.
Just curious if there are already some fixes released or something like that...
Or do i just have to wait until it works?
I didn't know about Iana deciding not to continue with the work. If you post it in the #team-build channel and ping me, I will pin it.

Does this work?
Problem: #help becomes cluttered with off-topic when no one is actively asking for help.
Solution: Create a gated sub-channel for regulars to chat while waiting to assist others.
Explanation:
Regulars monitor #help voluntarily to provide quick responses, but questions don’t come constantly. To pass time, they chat, which often drifts off-topic and clutters the channel.
Why not use other channels?
Off-topic discussions in #help usually start on-topic before diverging, making them unsuitable for channels like #endfield (very long slowmode, image spam-heavy, lack of actual conducive EF discussion) or #off-topic (different topic). Adding slowmode to #help would also hurt response speed. The kind of discussions, like character designs, environmental talk, small flexes and just general sharing of knowledge does not have a collective place where it can go.
Why a gated sub-channel?
#help regulars form a distinct group who are knowledgeable, active players who engage in deeper discussions about the game. There’s currently no dedicated space for this subgroup.
Proposed criteria for entry (flexible):
A. 250+ messages in all channels under ‘help and guides’
B. Verified in-game progress (e.g. AL30 / completed V4 main quest)
Outcome:
A gated “regulars” channel provides a space for discussion and casual chat, while keeping #help focused, clean, and easier to moderate.
TL;DR: A gated channel for experienced regulars to banter will improve both #help usability and its moderation.
There we go now it all fits.
Quick edit: To clarify, it should absolutely not come with any special role or tag. It’s first and foremost a waiting room to keep help channels clean without needing to scorched earth (aka help ban) the ppl who are there to actually help
#endfield message we been through ts gang but unlikely
there would be 5 messages per minute if the help channel was only for helping and its not like everything isn't answered for them just bc other people are talking . I think the main point of the server is to socialize and it shouldn't be a problem as long as we're still helping in the process. This just creates an unnecessary boundary of rules that positively effect absolutely no one.
Suggestion: A channel or thread where people can share their afk farming blueprints for the several severe energy alluvium present in the world.
Agree with the problem but not the solution, the best way to fix this would be to just implement more active moderation. The culture/standard in that channel is that you can drift off-topic without repercussions and that’s the core issue. Even if a separate channel was made, who would willingly want to jump ship to continue their conversation elsewhere? If the rules aren’t enforced people will simply continue to break them without a second thought.
can you please ad a channel for spoil to speak about the new content without spoiling anyone
That is nonsense. There are plenty of channels to socialize in, you have no need to take over a channel that is specifically for game help. If you feel so close to people, take advantage of the technology you are using and DM them to socialize, or create a separate server for your new-found friends. If you are comfortable enough to derail a channel together but not comfortable enough to just jump ship to a new personal area, then maybe you aren't that close.
And of course the help banned person says this, I'm glad my reports worked.
As for the suggestion to create a new channel, again nonsense. You're asking the staff to essentially give a reward to people who frequently break the rules in #help. Why should the server facilitate this? If these people want to become friends they can just make a separate server for themselves. If not, there are a plethora of areas in this server to move the socialization. I have no qualms with finding new friends, just keep it the fuck out of #help. And if they need new mods to do this, then get to recruiting.
that specific channel for game help wouldn't be as active as it is if there weren't people hanging out and helping. Also what kind of Socrates shit is this, no one is derailing anything. The channel stays the same and everyone is helped. There is no reason no one should freely talk about other things in the help channel as long as the main premise stays the same. I agree with the last statement about making a new channel but idk why you pulled that one out of your ass. You also don't understand that many "off topic" people are building off of questions. It's not as bad as it sounds unless you have chatted in that channel first hand.
if no one was talking and socialising in help who the hell would be there to help everyone huh? this is so pointless, if the channel wasnt active nobody would get help. most of this "off topic" stuff stems off of the questions asked in help.
tbf it comes to a point
since #help is mostly the go to for users for normal help, there should be the sense of keeping the "questions in, answers out" attitude going through help channels
idk about whats happening in #help but as someone from #theorycrafting some people also do offtopic that got branched due to ontopic conversations and its "possible" due to the diaspora of actual tcers low amount of proper discussion regarding tc in this server. given the amount of traffic that #help gets, for me its just normal for the moderators to want to clamp down on offtopic conversations so actual help questions goes through
@humble dome from the help channels im in in other discord server they dont have this severe of an offtopic conversation. therr are people who stay because probably they want to partake into discussions that might not be tangentially related to "help" like "how do i do this" and to also widen their pool of knowledge, not necessarily to have some gleeful conversations with other help dwellers
some short bantering is probably warranted or expressions of gratitude("thanks", "np") but given what im seeing im expecting that these offtopic conversatioms extend to like 10-15 messages while there are unanswered questions
@weary flax, @humble dome, @green turret
I'll just mention that every single rule in these guidelines were repeatedly broken as a result of the constant off-topic discussions in the help channel, whereas they wouldn't be broken so often if server members weren't intentionally starting and continuing off-topic conversations, along with using the help channel as a sort of "personal hangout" as you mentioned, while joking about breaking the server rules at the same time - #help message
#discord-feedback has seen multiple complaints about the state of #help as this isn't the channels intended purpose, regardless of how anybody may try to spin it. there's also no productivity to be gained from starting an extended back-and-forth conversation in this channel either, as this subject was already stated both per the guidelines and by the server staff to go against the rules, so this discussion is only going to go nowhere and I'd recommend moving it to #off-topic until you reach a conclusion 👍
As much as I dislike authoritative operating servers, these rules need to be enforced more clearly, so it discourages people from misusing them; At the same time, the server has to balance that with leniency, so people who are "misinformed" aren't banned easily. It's a reason why I dislike #endfield #help, people there annoy me because of misusing the channels... I believe there's already a warning system so when people do misuse them they can get warned and if they break it again they can be banned..?
edit:
But as far as I can tell, the "warning system" either exists (but is extremely inconsistent on who gets warned), or it doesnt. My suggestion would be "logging" the messages, so when they are deleted mods can check that and warn the person...
@weary flax @humble dome
From my own personal experience, my first time on this discord was actually me in the help channel trying to get assistance with factory related stuff and there was so much chatting going on I just assumed no one saw or cared to help, which felt pretty off putting. Had a similar experience after the fact when I found the channel for factory specific help, which did get some assistance, though that also ended up leaving me with no real help, and I couldn't even tell at the time if anyone was actually responding back to me.
So personally I don't think help channels should really be a social experience. I also don't know about needing people clicking in a channel so that its "populated" with people who will help. Some people just like to help others, so those sorts will usually be the ones to interact and give assistance. You can always do what others do in MMORPGs and use helping other players to establish connection and then befriend them, but then use private messages or do friend requests or redirect them to social channels after the fact to maintain the contact. At least that's the usual way clans/guilds go about recruiting and growing social circles.
It's alsso gtetiing sob ad in my perpesctive, taht if even #off-topic is uncccomfroktable to talk in. I would prefer to just hide aall server channels from my view, since looking at social channels either frustrate, or dissapoint me. the onoly good thing is game feebdacks but eneve then they just argue most of the time making feedback hard to be usable. Enforce rules or its cahotic, its a gacah game official server sigh. if this serrver didnt have useful for the gfame itself, II would've left already @frank crypt.
like look: if the channel is DESIGNED likke #help for HELP, then if u off topic there, MOVE IT TO #off-topic ??? peopel ar so stupid i cant believ eit, its not onlyy disclipine, its that ITS INCONSISTENT who gets punished which is the ROOT ISSUE, if they DONT move to #off-topic go warjn them, if cant cuz mods are humans too, then FINE but this is why people get frustratedx with rules, its inconsistent.
It's not as bad as it sounds unless you have chatted in that channel first hand.
I've been here since the technical tests, look at my role. I'll have the channel open on my second monitor esp lately. It is as bad as it sounds, and a couple of people have put their first hand experiences as newbies, and I bet you dollars to donuts you can find many more with similar experiences. It's intimidating and its breaking the literal rules of the channel. You're essentially attempting to change the rules and purpose of the channel, and it is ridiculous.
As for those attempting to equate low activity to a lack of questions being answered, guess what. Most of the people who frequent help channels in gaming discords do it just to help out and share knowledge, not for some socialization. For a decent example look at the OG Arknights Official discord. Ton of helpful mods, you're encouraged to ping to point out rule-breaking, little to no derailment and questions get answered promptly. You don't even need to go far to see examples of great channels, stuff like #aic-factory is rather low activity but people get helped promptly. The problem child is #help , and it doesn't help when people even in the channel actively encourage off-topic conversations.
Moderation seems very inconsistent, might feel very stingy to some and very lenient to the other. I've seen people sustaining in this server while doing the most craziest of things while others getting punished for the silliest or for least concerning things. I understand that there are different kinds of moderators that have different kinds of opinions but I think it could be better that if a person is getting punished for one reason while the other doing the same thing is not looked on to, then the one being punished will find it unfair, resulting in a bad impression to this server. So what I would like to conclude with is that it'll be better if moderation can be consistent so that people would know what to actually do to sustain in this server and bring a friendly environment instead of having the members feel like the server is being unfair.
bro @weary flax low activity does NOT equal to low quality. its called #help for a reason not #help-and-off-topic channel. and i hate people who still argue how channel is, is okay and shouldnt be fixed. Whats the p;oint of rul;es wehen people can break them, and people are NOT getting punished?? whats the point of a channel called #help when it's also an off topic channel? Whats the point of an #off-topic channel when you can off topic in #help or in other channels?? - If there is a point, why isnt the channel purpose being enforced and clearly stated, and why can people still break channel purpose and get away with it. Big problem with this server is negligence, letting people do whatever they want with channels.
If those who respect rules are disrespected because rules can be broken and rules are not being enforced, then stop pretending rules exists in this server in the first place, the server itself is undermanaged, it's not the fault of moderators, it's the fault of the system itself.
some people already coped with this by hiding the social channels, and only having channels that are useful for the game - Most feedback are just back and forth arguments or invalidations, which is bad for the feedback purpose the server can still function, but currently it's bad to engage in at least in my perspective. Being a serious community member by following rules, by engaging normally doesnt feel rewarded as well, and it might encourage people to either disengage or just leave, or even break rules. Community part is broken by negligence, the useful parts are the only good thing left. This is a problem. even @frank crypt and @radiant acorn can understand
мне не выдается роль после привязки аккаунта
not falling for the ragebait guys. The help channel helps so there shouldn't be any problem.
Following this #theorycrafting message comment is it possible for #server-guidelines to be updated so that what's stated there matches what would be enforced in the channels. Minor nitpick or whatever but it's been bugging at me for a bit since previously datamined content has been used for future version predictions but that does not seem to be allowed despite not being explictly said in the rules above.
(For the record, that isn't what rage bait is. Just saying.)
The bigger problem isn't that #help is "sometimes" helping, it's that THIS server can't enforce rules properly, which is why #help is being used like anm #off-topic channel, which is why game-feedback channels usually become arguments even when thats not allowed. This server's rules are inconsistent, that is a problem. I hope you understand.
If this server cant enforce rules properly, just remove them because that is BETTER than having them. Why? Because we wouldnt have to argue about rules in the first place if everything is supposed to be chaotic. even @pallid canyon gets my point
ALSO also:
I think I know why #help is beig abused like a off topic, its because IMAGE PERMS + FILE ATTACHMENT PERMS are given to literally everyone for free: But for other chnanels we have to WORK for it, 10 points per message per 1 minute, stretch that until u get 10k points is REALLY long. If the reason is newcomers cant abuse image perms, why are they given image perms in #help channel? It makes no sense, that uis why poeople misuse help channel and that is why it is visible there. Even when #endfield which is supposed to be used for game talking, is also being used as off topic chanel, literally READ THE RULES:
Channel Rules
1. Arknights: Endfield discussion only
This channel is limited to Arknights: Endfield-related discussions only. Any discussions that aren't related to the aforementioned topics do not belong in this channel. This includes but is not limited to messages and/or media. A dedicated Arknights thread can be found in off-topic.
No one is getting punished in #endfield at all for misusing it.
why not vc in discord?
😭
@ocean rivet
Is modmail working? There is still no response from anyone it' been 4 days. I don't know if anyone has ever reached modmail here. Am I getting special treatment from gryphline?
Same, it's been over a week for me
hi
I'm here to share some happiness
@ocean rivet tldr no mods + hard to police if unmodded because people can stream porn or other rulebreaking stuff. fun fact due to me streaming arknights it got clamped down for gen use
that aside i have two concerns: people can use work arounds for blakclisted words like for example g00n go0n g0on
if the blacklist doesnt work try to enforce the rules by trying to also add these word variants into the blacklist words or give actual warns on the blacklist bypass. theres an uncertain leniecy im seeing with this type of blacklist bypassing
second, whats the stretch of rule2?
i got warned with lewd pics, one with accidental sending of porn(L on my part), and lidukes ballerina illustration due to it being very lewd(ive sent it at least seven times - search "from:justmorbnika has:image liduke" - prior before my warn so i was just sending it every once in a while), and yes tho the poses are suggestive ive been fine with those prior to my latest warn, probably lack of moderation when i sent it
if those stuff are probably a no-no, whats the extent of the text part of sexually suggestive media?
"ill smash yvonne" / "smash" (smash as a term appeared 3100 times in #endfield , and for reference smash as a verbal term to have rough sex with someone)
"ill rail yvonne" (another term for intense sex)
"breastmilk capacity of yvonne" (probably just one incident)
these are inappropriate remarks, and while the first one is probably watered down due to its persistent usage to "i really want yvonne" and those things are mostly used for affection, i believe theres been a big leniency towards the "text" part of media versus "images"
#account-link well i was wondering if linking account can make my status shown whenever im playing AKE on mobile :3
this isn't currently possible with discord on mobile
Let Zhuang Fengyi full auto so I can main Avy and have a dual dps team
you got a warning for sending the same image you previously sent 100 times? welcome to the club. i already have big chunk of PRTS images i used to send a few months ago all the time but i dont anymore.
it is what it is, different mods have different NSFW standards, cant satisfy everyone. its just an rng if a lenient mod sees the image and just verbally warns you in chat to delete and stop with it, or its someone you would want to avoid and delete your messages before they go active
other than that, as someone that is a naughty kid with a bunch of warnings, i honestly have no issues with moderation
also, speaking of "text" part over "images", i personally have a few warnings for being way too explicit with it. it has limits as well :D
oh, and i am still not sure why certain words are banned. and people keep saying g00n and nothing happens to them, why is it banned in the first place then? is it ok to goоn then?
https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1498554519477551124 i made this in general guides would be nice if it exist in #event-guides too
or idk
want to ask, why is there no language for 简体中文 in discord, i don't think everyone outside china only use 繁体中文 instead of 简体中文
<@&956153874383781928>
I want to give props for the renovation to the #help channel, much less chatter now. Still a bit, but much less than before.
Why the modmail isn't working? Why there is no ticket option to raise tickets? Moderators not even answering in modmail, are mods hired or just made to get roles and look cool? I am mod in yt and discord I know how to do a mod's job and I work without even money. I don't know if they get money or not, but they aren't doing their job.
<@&956153874383781928> sorry to mention you guys here, but I want answers. Modmail was supposed to talk with mods but it's been 8 days no one to reply? Same with @low dock this guy. What is going in this server? Mods not answering, nsfw things going on. #help is being used for talks. Moderation on this server is not good. Also add a ticket raise option if possible. Also in endfield art people send lewd images what is the meaning of this? Someone will send nsfw on the name of art.
The display case is done I need more Trophy space.
Devs add a "Trophy room area" separate from the main room area. Where we can have all the displayed items on a shelf.
Add a 'can't read' role. Make its emoji
When people post in places without reading the channel description or rules, a mod gives it to them and they just can't post in any channel that requires basic reading comprehension. I think it'd be funny, but it would also require more moderation in the short term lol
Speaking from personal experience, having the excuse to troll users is never a burden but the spice of life.
Would be nice if you added threads or forums to the #scenery-captures so people who enjoy taking screenshots don't spam the general screenshot section of it too much ˡᶦᵏᵉ ᵐʸˢᵉˡᶠ, would also be useful for people to conglomerate all of their screenshots into one place.
Discord only permits 1000 shared active forum posts/threads across each server, and here it's reserved for special public events and certain productive categories, such as the feedback and blueprint forums to reduce clutter and prevent running out of space. (#1498875864203526244, #1461542035617091681, #1494621026821079233)
Allowing server members to create personal threads in any channel may improve the overall convenience, but the persistence and activity of these threads will further reduce the limit for active posts/threads throughout the server over time, which will unfortunately cause even more issues.
-# For a potential discord-based solution, you can try including searchable unique keywords in your messages, so you can easily find them later. 👍
it's called Lore Ban
Please add Arabic language support for MENA players in Endfield.
Original Arknights has Arabic and the Arabic community is growing fast. Thank you!
<@&956153874383781928>
Add another rule in #bot-feedback to not use bots
I have been contacting the discord admins and moderator via the
Endfield mod mail chat but there has never been any reply from anyone.
Recently a manager from the Japanese chat limited me from
participating in the channel even though it is one of my main
languages because I discussed why skin modding is popular in the West
as the topic of that moment sparked by a different person ( I was not
promoting it), JP mods then claimed my texts to be promoting/sharing
hacks and then muted me for a week, blocking me from the JP chat
despite I've been active there for 3 months. They have tried to remove
me from the JP chat previously when I made a mistake with a very bad
joke just because, I assume, they think removing those they don't deem
fit is the right move.
If it was something beyond "personal value" I would have been removed
from the server due to severe violation, not one specific community
group. The person themselves must have deemed I only do not "fit" for
the JP chat rather than harming the server/game in any means, and this
is not OK.
The same situation is going on in the Vietnamese chat as well, given
the server is being regulated by one single mod to my knowing and the
lack of dedicated Vietnamese channel rules (despite it being one of
the accepted commodities of the game). Most cases of warning and
boundaries are being maintained by one person and their value.
can you please make the other feedback chats less than 2 hours
@frosty pawn I also contacted mod mail it's been weeks I haven't recieved any answer. Mentioned them here still no reply. I think mods here are just for show off their role and title. Never seen a mod engage in chat for a while to see what players perspective is even the GRYPHLINE staff isn't active here. There are more than 3 mods including trainee. What are they doing banning those accounts which got hacked. Huh! Seriously is this the reason why they were given moderatorship. My post is locked in feedback forum. I wanted to know why is it locked? Is it because I stirred a matter which the company never wanna hear? This server's mods are of no use.
@subtle marsh and @wide bobcat escalating this matter may make them pay attention to this huge problem.
The server is undermanaged and modding is inconsistent 👍
On the bright side someone finally responded to my modmail in ~11 business days, so I guess stay strong and discord on
@knotty delta why didnt u give me a second opinion https://discord.com/channels/950244160684834837/1500141327160180949 you're not MEDIC from TF2
I propose significantly increasing the likelihood of being detonated by a mine for users who, instead of using spaces, break their comments into 1-2 word messages.
