1. Respect others.
All discussions must follow basic etiquette. Any behaviour intended to provoke, harass, divide the community, spread misinformation, incite drama, or target others is not tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, threatening, baiting, obscene, defamatory, condescending, or otherwise racially, religiously, politically, or sexually objectionable content, as well as spam, unsolicited messages, or the sharing of personal information. Violations may result in immediate and permanent disciplinary action.
2. Explicit content is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to NSFW or disturbing material.
This includes any pornographic, gory, violent, self-harm, sexually suggestive, shocking, or otherwise inappropriate content. Such content is not permitted in any form, including text, images, audio, links, usernames, nicknames, profiles, or attempts to conceal it using spoilers or other methods. There is zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes minors or minor-like characters.
3. All forms of advertising/self-promotion are prohibited.
Any advertising efforts (social media accounts, products or services, Discord server invite links, etc.) are not permitted without the explicit permission of the moderation staff. This also includes advertising efforts via DMs. Should you wish to promote your own Discord server in #frontiers-hub, please contact @bleak pivot.
4. Discuss in the corresponding language for each section.
We welcome, value, and respect users from all over the world, as well as their languages and cultures. Please only use the corresponding language in each section of the server. You may find your language in the id:customize of the onboarding section of the server. When there is no specified language for a channel, it is to be assumed that the only permitted language is English.
5. Please read the rules that are specific to each channel.
Different channels have their own set of rules and regulations that are listed on their pins. It is essential to familiarise oneself with the guidelines before engaging in any of these channels. The channel-specific rules have the same weight as the global server rules. When channel-specific rules conflict with global rules, channel-specific rules take precedence.
6. Respect intellectual property.
When sharing media, please credit the original creator whenever possible. Providing a source link is required when posting artwork in designated art channels (e.g. #endfield-art). If a creator does not wish for their work to be shared, or if their account is private, do not repost their content. Posting AI-generated images as well as presenting them as original artwork is strictly prohibited anywhere on the server.
7. Post gacha results in the appropriate channels.
Gacha-related content, including screenshots of obtained operators or equipment, must be posted only in the designated gacha channel (e.g. #salt-mine-gacha-flex). Out-of-context or misleading screenshots, such as operator info screens, potential screens, roll history, mid-animation pulls, or cropped result screens, are not permitted elsewhere. Text-based gacha results are allowed, provided they are not used to provoke, boast excessively, or antagonise other users.
