Currently PvE Squads are encountering server issues where people in certain squad combinations are unable to join a raid because the server keeps looking for other players which could never happen.
This is a bug and will eventually be addressed.
Right now only thing you can do to solve this is either play PvP or play solo PvE or try to force the offending party in the squad to change their server (maybe use VPN or something). Or just play with someone else.

If you are extremely lucky, hitting "reset ping" before raid might solve as well. Little hope though.

...objectively, it's not. I would honestly give it 2/5 rating as a PvE game.
It's barebones "game". The quests and tasks are not integrated with the gameplay, the AI is dumb and cheaty. There is no real goal or setting for the game. You could treat it like the regular sandbox games that have similar problems, but if you do that, then this is not even proper sandbox because it's not adaptable and you can't change anything in the world, it's all just set and sitting there. If you wanted it to be shooter where you just train to shoot your VR guns - it does not even have a proper range outside of tutorial.

All the value to this game comes from PvP encounters and interactions.

The shields are bugged and should not be used. On very rare occasions the backpacks still disappear, but generally they don't.
Not a bug, but server issues - sometimes PvP raid finder auto-aborts after 5 minutes if the queue is empty. PvE people have trouble sometimes to play in Squads when the servers need to switch between people that don't live too close to each-other.
That's about it.

Getting stuff back in PvE depends on:

• Insurance
• Server crash protection
• Bugs

For a long time, due to a bug, whenever you died in Solo PvE, crash protection kicked in that should not. This has been fixed recently, see: #📢・patches message

You should only be getting stuff that you bought and insured, after you die (only once), or, if your game crashed or you force-closed it, then after 24 hours you can get back the stuff that you came in raid with.

Force-closing the game only applies for PvE solo raids and even that may get changed in future.

Currently PvE Squads are encountering server issues where people in certain squad combinations are unable to join a raid because the server keeps looking for other players which could never happen.
This is a bug and will eventually be addressed.
Right now only thing you can do to solve this is either play PvP or play solo PvE or try to force the offending party in the squad to change their server (maybe use VPN or something). Or just play with someone else.

If you are extremely lucky, hitting "reset ping" before raid might solve as well. Little hope though.

So then that's the issue. After your first mag was emptied and you replaced it, you should have charged the gun, but you did not. Replacing the mag second time does not help in any way if you still don't charge it.

No, collisions inside backpacks between items are not coming back. That's a solution so to get rid of most reocurring bugs plaguing backpacks again and again. Instead the hitboxes for items got severaly reduced and now actually match the item, which means that you can put a lot more stuff in the same space inside the backpack.

I do have the bug that sometimes the Item's just aren't red and clearly in my Backpack, but then when I try to put em in, they just fall through. I find it that when I go to calibrate it, obviously with an ironsight, the level of the gun is not straight with a holosight, etc. When I try to calibrate an sks, ill go to rifle, calibrate but it'll still not point straight at all. wondering if anyone else has this problem
