The other brands I mentioned are all solid options to look at tho. If your looking to spend that kind of money tho, perhaps your not looking for the 3Daptive gunstock
Okay awesome thanks for that info, my roommate has a pretty nice one that he can just snap his controllers on, so I figured why not.
Iāve assumed thereās not much 20+ year olds in here that play so itās really just me and my roomy playing, is there any sort of group finder for people serious about playing? I havenāt found much luck so far.
Like a tube-style gunstock right?
Well im a 30 year old playing this game lol. So im with ya man.
Ummmm..... facebook groups can be solid around this game. Ive connected with several people on there
Yeah itās a tube style one that has little holders on each end that are adjustable
Sounds good, I appreciate the help man
Yea I ended up copping it I got the red tomahawk ts was like $250
Its a sick stock man. I think youll be happy with it. Im happy with mine
Yea Iām just getting back into tabor Iām usually playing valorant and cs I wanted to try sum new
Got the pc link cable and everything
Hell yea. Its a good time man. Ive been enjoying the crap out of VR extraction shooters. Last wipe I played tabor all wipe, this wipe ill probably main Exfilzone. But theyre both great games man.
https://a.co/d/0d7GaRFT I got this one jus to get a feel of a gunstock while I wait for the tomahawk you think this any good
Its gonna be very different from the skolVR stocks, but that'll be fine for now just to get used to having something on your hands. The other one to possibly try for i think like... another 20 extra bucks or so is the glistco magni stock
Dont quote me on that price tho. I may be wrong there
Hey guys. I think this is the right place to talk about this. I currently own the SmartStock, itās pretty good in my opinion but itās kinda bad with pistols because itās not magnetic. Does anyone have any recommendations on a new stock? Iām kind of budgeting so 100 dollars or less would be preferred
If your a fan of the skolVR stocks, the butcher and the tomahawk now have this little guy, a 2nd magnet for your offhand when using pistols. Circled here in red
However im.not entirely sure off the top of my head if you can get that for the smart stock
Probably not, Iāll check it out. Thanks so much
bro you need to send one over im too broke
I got the tabor gun stock base set, apparently they donāt sell the shoulder stock part anymore, anyone know of any replacements that will fit with the base set?
what is the best budget vr gunstock?
Moginno
can you send a link over?
do you maybe know one which can ship for free to eu?
no sorry
im on pcvr, and i have physical gunstrock enabled (cause i got a physical gunstock) and my wrist (ingame) keep bending and aiming at the floor, so i change the pitch and then its good, but like 5 minutes go by and then theyre aimed back down?
Sounds about right.
Tabors calibration for most things, including controller adjustments such as your wrist angle seems to be perpetually broken.
Any chance you can adjust the angle of your controller on your stock? Not sure if you've got the room or not.

The following message by Ragesaq is a thorough guide on calibrating a gunstock!
I have a total of 6 of em lol
š
i wish it would be me
cant afford gunstocks as a student
Well im certainly not old, but at 30.. yea its a bit different for me.
When I was younger I wouldn't of been able to do stuff like that
yeah...
do you maybe know a budget vr gunstock for eu?
Any thing I should know before using my new gun stock
SkolVR is based out of EU. He's got the non-magnetic smartstock. Although... the magnetic one is badass
Home made gunstock
indeed
Does it preform well?
yes it does
Nice
whats the differnce between the stkr asset and the regluar one
Hey guys any tips on calibration my right hand is bending to the right and my left is bending to the left it might just be my gunstock I bought off Amazon ngl tho
My hands are basically broken whenever I put both on the gunstock šš
Hey so I bought a gunstock but itās off centered its pointing a little to the right is there anyway to fix that?
If you can adjust the gunstock irl, do that
If you canāt, nothing to fix it
I have the same issue with some guns and grips sadly
Dam rip I canāt I got some cheap stock for now while I wait for my skolvr tomahawk to come
This is mine lmao
Its not good, but it works
This the one I got
You should be able to adjust it no?
Like turning the controller to the side
Idk tbh first gunstock Iāve had
First time I used it
but they are hella expensive
are gunstocka really worht it? does it improve my aim in any way? amd does it stop my shaky ass hands
Well yea man. Instead of two free floating controllers, its like holding a rifle. You can but thag thing up in your shoulder. You have to know that that's better right?
u got any gunstock recommandations bro?
Yea man quite a few. Lots of good options out there.
This one be thr Tomahawk by SkolVR. This is the most premium one, but even his more budget gunstocks are fantastic. The idea is that it never leaves your hand, the front hand just disconnects magnetically. So its super quick and easy to get in and out of.
Next is the Pro-tube. Ive been using this one for the last couple days now and ive been loving it. Its magnetic, super light weight, and allows your hands to be free while doing other tasks
This one is the Modus 4 by 3daptive. Its worth every bit of 90 bucks. Very solid stock, also magnetic. Adjusting this one can be a bit of a pain, but once you get it set up your good to go
Lastly ive got this Onestock by WieldVR. This one does NOT come stock with.magnets for the controllers. The idea is that the controller just kind of rests in those half cups.
I hated that design... but they sell optional magnets which make this stock feel REALLY good
I personally recommend Protube VR's option, but it isn't the most budget friendly. I've been using a Magtube for just over a year now and it's been amazing. Just a note: the quest 3 can have some tracking issues, however most can be dealt with via adjusting the gunstock to deal with it.
Also, gunstocks do not affect aim, they affect hand shake. If you are someone with shaky hands, you'll benefit from a gunstock way more than someone who doesn't shake as much.
Do yall think this is a good gunstock
https://www.printables.com/model/1271195-vqgns-85-modular-gun-stock-for-quest-23 im getting this printed will give my opinion soon as i get some time with it
Iām having some trouble with my gunstock, itās calibrated great when not using a grip, but if I put a grip on my gun itāll start pointing up. Any tips, I donāt believe this was happing before the most recent update
When you put the grip on you have to lower the front controller on your stock.
Yea Zipper is right.
Just wait until you grab an angled grip. You'll hate that thing with a gunstock. The RK1 is much better for gunstocks
RK-1 is one of the best grips my guy
It'll be good no matter what
Yea. Im aware... im just saying thr straight grip feels much better in a gunstock because the angled grip pulls the gun to to the side.
Alot of people seem to get confused by that one, figured id mention it for that other gentlemen
Ah ok that makes more sense
Guys Iām getting a gunstock just donāt know which to get I want something thatās not too big and doesnāt have calibrating issues and actually works when grabbing stuff give some recs pls !!!
When your grabbing stuff just take your controller out of the stock
whats a good gunstock i could buy for vr shooters in general?
is skolvr good chat??
SkolVR is really good.
Sometimes its a bit tiring to use in a looter shooter. But its one of the fastest and easiest gunstocks to use.
Ive also been really digging the pro-tube for looter shooters lately
SkolVR is worth looking at.
Protube is very solid, ive been loving it.
WieldVR isnt bad, however id totally suggest buying the optional magnets if you decide to go that route.
Does someone have a 3d print design that I can use for quest 2?
Yes
Whatās the best setup for the skol butcher
What's that?
@shy scaffold
Left handed
Hey guys is the controllers on my gunstock supposed to be straight or tilted toward a bit?
Toward where..?
Forward* it auto corrected to toward
Have u gotten to use it yet?
why is there a chat for gunstocks lmao
to ask about gunstocks?
What does this do
What?
What does gunstocks do

User Ceps made a giant list of reliable gunstocks for use in Ghosts of Tabor!
So do they plan on making the calibration easier or am i better off returning my gunstock
Bought WieldVRās gunstock and it just doesnt feel right with any gun besides snipers
Like i dont understand why i cant just grab the mock gun, set it to the position i need it in, then click two buttons to set the calibration. Compared to this janky tilting shit with the joysticks
Which one should i get
cheapest gunstock
What
Whatās the best gun stock under 200$
It just tilts forward and up and down man. What are you struggling with?
I mean I certainly dont think thats worth returning the gunstock over, Jesus lol. Im sure we can help
Welcome to tabors horrible gunstock calibration š¤£
Literally what i said when i first opened it and tried calibrating, i just gave up and dont even use it
Same bro! Its ridiculous
I have rlly shaky hands, considering getting a gunstock. My main concern is thst I am poor and donāt run the same kit often, so i usually bring a Glock every raid (no stock needed) and just kinda use whatever rifles I come across. How annoying is it to set the stock for said random rifles as I find/use them mid raid? Am I better off just dealing with the shaky aim?
Yeah I have the same problem
Do u personally use one? I jsut wish there was a good gunstock solution that is under $100, allows you to detach and loot/use bag quickly, and adapt to any gun super quick. But I guess u canāt get everything u want š¤·āāļø
Sometimes i just remove the buttstock of the smart stock. So i am shooting the guns like if I am holding an ak draco. Its light weight and easy to switch to pistol. You will have some stability, but not fully without the buttstock
It makes for very fast pistol switching and some easier sight picture for me. Its also useful to run this in games with poor calibration. You get some, but not full stability
I feel like for me the butt stock is the most importsnt part because I have found that when I use pistols if I rest the the part of my hand/controller to me against my headset, I get super precise on my red dot, and also eliminate the shaking. If I try to hold out my pistol like you would irl, after a few minutes my hands get pretty shaky. Eapecislly in a stressful fight scenario. I guess for my situation there isnāt much a gunstock can do without causing switching inconveniences
Are you using the magnetic smart stock by skol vr?
Im using non magnetic. But I feel you on this tho. I sometimes just extend the whole gunstock out like if im holding a pistol. Like literally pretend its not in my hand, and I hold it out
I also end up upgrading the plastic lock-key of the cheek riser, and it allows me to move it to the lowest-ish setting quickly
It varies, but i switch stances on this a bit.
I panic and hold it like a pistol, other times I just have it already settup when I used to do glock runs from the bunker.
Thanks for the info!
Which one do you have ?
if you are useing a wield, dont calibrate, take the gun you are going to use in raid, loosen up both at the base and inside the cup so you can twist it and angle it back and forward, your goal is to get it so when you grip the gun, its shifting as little as possible in your sight, like looking down the scope/red dot/holo/iron sould barely move, you will never get it 100% but you will get it so close it is a non issue. this took me from not being able to hit crap at distance reliably to reliably hitting pixels.
now, when the controllers are in the cups, the stock sould be able to be held in place by that alone you souldnt really need to hold it, practice not doing that, its hard but you start to feel so much better once you get use to it
personally I use the quest and got the magnet upgrade version, that solved almost every issue I had with how it feels to get the controllers in place when I grab the guns, but your issue seems to be more of an in game issue and less of an out of game
now I will tell you how I set mine up so you may have a frame of reference, get a ruler
gunstock is in my lap, stock to the right, controler cups to the left
my stock is 3 hole, metal pin, 4 hole on how far in the sholder is
the stock has just under 2 inch/5cm of extra going down
I have the premium sling that is in the bottom of the stock going verticle
I have 5cm of the tube though holeof the sholder piece
1.5cm between the front of where that attaches annd where the first hand is
I have about 2cm inbeteen the single point mount for the premium sling and where the flip thing to extend the tube is,
on the right cup, flip it so the stock is on your left now, there are markings with the center being the tallest, for me mine is half way between the tallest and the second tallest to the left of the tallest
the position of the of the hand is going out 3 to the right
the left changes so often that its not worth mentioning, mine was currently set up for shotgun use, alot of this is personal preference, but the right hand (or left if thats the closer to you) will largely stay the same (invert for left markings) because most guns in vr are pistol grip and if they arent they act like it
that should be a good jumping off point, almost all of this will come down to personal preference and also to you putting in time, ir feels weird at first, but try to free hand at 50-100 yards and then use a stock, the difference is night and day, though if you are only close distnace fighting the benefit of the stock is hard to say is worth it,
I have a wield vr one stock and I have to calibrate it for some specific guns like fal or sks it gets tedious. Appreciate the knowledge.
Which one of these 2 should i get
Depends on your preference, theyre two verry different stocks
Can you use a sling with the smart stock
There's holes š³ in the buttstock and the bottom base of the dominant hand area
Can someone help me Iām looking for a good but cheap gun stock

User Ceps made a giant list of reliable gunstocks for use in Ghosts of Tabor!
Ok thank you
sks was the first gun I used with it, calibration honestly did next to nothing, it was all about getting the controllers in the right position to not swing the iron sites. dont thing I used the fal with it, I managed to get an ak alpha with a few drums, even if I ended up dying and loseing the kit, I find enough to bring another one in, I was planning to run though matches with gun challanges this wipe but the game is completely broke for me at the moment.
just so you know, sharing is caring š„ŗ š„ŗ
i have that gun stalk
the smart sltalk is the best i have it
Any tips for a psvr2 because im looking for something like aiden so i can loot and adjust for the weapon in a reasonable time plus i have really shaky hands which makes it hard at times to aim
Whats better for tabor magnetic or slip grip
mostly personal preference but i recommend magnetic
I use magnetic but sometimes itās hard to take your hand away without leverage

Guys Iām having trouble picking a stock I have really really really shaky hands and I want to be able to freely use my hands whenever I need to and easily be able to
Adjust it for different guns, but I also want to stay under $100. What is the best option for me?
hey everyone, im a psvr player and need a affordable gunstock that is detatchable to use my bag ($50 MAX)
I'm on quest 2 and I was thinking of getting the skolvr smart stock, should I get magnetic or non magnetic
Anyone who has the protube gunstock, Iām having a rough time setting it up and calibrating, especially when it comes to different guns, any advice besides checking a yt video
Yea i got the protube. Can I see your configuration of the stock? Also, what seems to currently off about it? Gun angled, front hand wont reach? Etc?
Magnetic in my.opinion is always the answer
Anyone recommend a good psvr2 gunstock
Currently using the bowkvr invert marksman but it tends to block the controllers from tracking sometimes
Anyone have a good rec for gunstock thatās easy to calibrate Ik the system is horrid to calibrate In general
Ive got 4 different gunstock brands and they all are easily configurable for ghosts of tabor.
I usually find even with the incredibly adjustable gunstocks, the adjustments for the most part are usually for comfort more than anything. 9 times out of 10, all I need to do in order to make a gunstock work with another gun is adjust the cheek rest height.
Protube is great
SkolVR is great
WieldVR is another solid option
3daptive, the Modus 4 for 90 bucks is very solid

š
Guys is the skol vr tomahawk good?
Is there a tutorial bc I will deadazz do ts im not paying 50 bucks
Idk maybe. I would personally just say DIY it
Well Iām dumb and dunno how to make them Iāll look for one
Has anyone tried a bunch of gunstocks and have a favorite for GoT? Iām looking for ease of looting and to help my shaky hands the most. I also obviously want it to be able to adapt to different guns sizes quickly, so if I go from a MAC10 to a awm I can easily switch mid raid. I wouldnāt like to spend more than $125 but if the higher end ones have significant advantages than I would. I just donāt get the difference between all the stocks on the list?
From my personal experience, using the front "smg" portion of the smartStock (no butt stock attached) was the only solution to something like this
Because the calibration is so dog sh in this game that it was honestly better to remove the buttstock unless im fighting in island
It also allows for better recoil control since you can move the rear controller to negate recoil
guys can yoiu give me some good gunstock options that are cheap i got like a $30 budget
Go to Walmart
Buy a thin pipe, and duct tape
If you have access to a 3d printer, that opens things up
Oh yea man. Very solid
dam
Guys, I made this outta cardboard. Should I reenforce it or nah? Itās kinda wobbly
Guys is it just my game or when I use a SKS or a AWM or a BAR it rises up towards where my aim is all junky
Woah, thatās really good
no
Otherwise, thereās also this new gunstock that just came out, and it does pretty much everything:
impressive
Thatās interesting
Anyone got some good links to some premium quality gunstocks. Just looked at Protube.
Any else and why?
Looks just like flat out OG TOMAHAWK generic with a bunch of drawbacks and no benefit. The design patent is prolonged and active still btw.
PHANTOM is not meant to replace existing gunstocks; it follows a different approach: one compact device supporting rifles, two-handed pistols and melee weapons, without requiring any in-game changes.
Shortcut showcase: https://youtu.be/OTZUaGMG7NQ
PHANTOM is an original PLURASTOCK design and is protected as well. We wonāt debate vague legal claims publicly.
There's nothing original in this design. And it's a generic for 3 years old OG TOMAHAWK design with a bunch of drawbacks added. No need to argue with obvious things. It was written there just for information. And will be written everywhere else guaranteed.
And it's self promotion also. Which is forbidden by the server rules.
icl for once in my life I'm agreeing with skol on this one š
literally the same exact thing just slightly remodeled, it's like calling the onestock an original design
Yes, and it's very similar to what Astreus generic did with the original UltiStock design earlier. Making it more fancy on pictures but actually less functional and with noticeable quality issues mentioned before.
If our design is supposedly copied, please name one VR gunstock currently on the market that offers the same multi-weapon versatility ā firearms and melee ā without gameplay friction or additional accessories.
As a reminder, folding shoulder stocks have existed in real firearms since the early 20th century. That is basically the only real connection between TOMAHAWK and PHANTOM.
It's literally the same as the tomahawk, I'm sorry, but it's just a tomahawk with less adjustment. If you want to make a viable gunstock, at least make it for more than a gimmick that isn't good in the first place. The magtube by protube does it better than the design you offer, so does SKOL (even though we have our different views on gunstocks). i'm sure there a ton of other rear hand stuck gunstocks out there I dont care about that can do the same. I don't have any issues with people making stocks that are different, but like you can't argue it's unique and a one-of-a-kind design when SKOL exists. If it was an "improved" version of something similar to a skolvr stock, then you could argue it's "the best", but based on the now several demos you've posted, it seems to have even less than the already restricted skolvr design
You didnāt answer my question.
I understand that you donāt like our product, and I respect that.
But please name one VR gunstock currently on the market that offers the same multi-weapon versatility ā firearms and melee ā without gameplay friction or additional accessories.
You keep comparing PHANTOM to traditional gunstocks, but thatās not the point of the product.
I did? I see that you, like many others, don't seem to understand non-corpo text. Your gimmick of a melee/variable gun on-the-fly adjustment system is not only easily doable using SKOLvr's options, but also completely fine to do with a MagTube. In fact, the controller cup option is almost better since you have true free-hand and the ability to use a gunstock without sticking the controllers together (Having a fixed hand position on melee in VR is an idea, but you lose range of motion and variable hand placement based on the users preference. You also ask that I stop comparing your stock to others, right after asking me to? I suppose "no other stock" have the EXACT ability yours may, but if it's worse that what others offer, why is it important? I could go buy a macbook because it has apple exclusive software, but if it performs worse than a similar priced PC or the software is just worse, why would I?
Fair enough, we clearly donāt share the same view of what PHANTOM is trying to solve.
Weāll let players test it and judge from real use rather than keep debating theoretical comparisons here.
Have a good evening.
tbh it looks really good, and seems to have more features. Will have to see when ppl will have it in their hands to be sure
either way the more options for the consumer the better. Unless it's actually a copy paste then that wouldn't be fair but idk
I think it depends on your playstyle and preference.
So for example id recommend looking into Pro-tube, SkolVR, and possibly WieldVR right?
They're all gonna increase your accuracy and target acquisition speed man. All of em.
However with a tube style stock like protube or wield you can always drop your hands out of it if you like to have your hands free for looting, bag organization, bunker tasks, building guns, etc.
The drawback to tube style stocks is once you drop that stock down to your hip, you have to be able to find it again quickly in VR to be able to get back into it, which with muscle memory, its not very hard. But there is a learning curve right?
Now. Something like SkolVR or OlenVR where the stock stays on your hands ALL of the time and the stock just splits in half magnetically, it makes it SUPER quick and intuitive to get in and out of. Gunstock breaks in half magnetically, and then goes right back together just as fast. Your hands never come out of it. Very intuitive designs.
The drawback here would be if you dont want that added weight on your dominant hand while doing other tasks such as looting, bags, etc.
Thus isnt to imply that these stocks are heavy, because frankly they aren't. Theyre very light, but relative to the weight of ONLY a controller, they can be weighty. But their super easy to use, learn, and VERY fast
Guys
I just a gun stock and Iām really really struggling on using it
Any tips?
I got this one
In yalls honest opinions, is getting a gunstock worth it if I have shaky hands and canāt really aim the spectre 3 sniper scope on island? Also, is there really a difference to getting something crazy like the magtube vs an Amazon $40 copy?
Tbh itās the sniper scope thatās bad
Ye it would def save a lot of ppl a lot of money if they could just make better aim stabilization cuz ive def played vr games that u can snipe super far with no shakiness
A: Absolutely if you have shaky hands, I used to have terrible terrible hands, I literally couldn't play, and a stock stabilised me enough to perform at a good level
B: The big difference is quality and sometimes adjustment. a crappy $40 amazon stock could easily break, not have the exact adjustment you may need to be comfortable, and generally will be a bit more creaky and less stable than a Protube. I personally love my Magtube
Ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I have concluded that if I have the budget, I should buy a magtube style high end stock. I want the stock to be as adjustable as possible so I can have my hands in the orientatikn/distance that they appear in the game so everything works smoothly. I get that companies have to make money, but why are these stocks so expensive š like $150 for some aluminum tubing, plastic, and magnets š
Personally, all $220 I've spent on my magtube have been worth it for the quality. Protube offers a very very adjustable design, some dont like the sling though. Skol offers a fairly good option
I might just not understand how it works, but the skol tomahawk looks almost completely not adjustable? Also, what is there not to like about a sling? What are you supposed to do with the stock if you arenāt actively holding a gun?
Skol's tomahawk offers adjustment, the other two have very limited to no adjustment. Some people dont like the sling design as in having a stock that sits at your side when not in use instead of being bolted to your hand. I personally like full freehand + stock(protube) rather than partial freehand + stock(skolvr).
I wouldnt go outside of those two companies if you have the money though, stuff like the onestock is just a cheaper, mildly worse magtube
Oh i see now that the tomahawk has little screw knubs that can increase distance between hands. I still feel like the magtube seems overall better. I guess the skol might feel more like a gun? Idk Iām kinda poor in tabor so I switch guns super frequently as I loot, I donāt just run the same few gun kits into every raid, so the quick adjustment seems priority for me
Skols is a lot more limited than the magtube, which is why i dont tend to recommend it. using any gunstock does benefit from running similar guns every raid though. protube's adjustment system is fast when you get used to it
Ah I do see one plus to the tomahawk: if you apply any movement other than directly linear movement/ only up/down or forward/back to the magtube, jt will pop the magnets off, so if I accidentally tilt my wrist, it will drop off the stock. I see that on the tomahawk it is a more robust locking mechanism that makes transitioning from stock to freehand a little longer but also seems to make it a lot less likely to drop in unwanted times
Hard to decide⦠I just donāt want to drop $200 on a stock just to not use it after the first session because of some critical issue that I am not compatible with
The magnets on the magtube are very good, but they CAN come off with enough force. You wont be able to just bump it off or lightly twist your wrist to pop them off. As for the money part, i know protube is good with refunds, unsure how good skol is since I personally dont dabble in their stocks much
Alright, I guess magtube it is!
id send you a video of my magtube but im not currently at home
in terms of magnet strength
cardboard
Wild but deal
son
I appreciate this immensely. Thanks dude
@mental lance I have the quest 3 and index.
Can I buy separate controller holders for both and still able to use the Tomahawk 3 in 1
Index Tomahawk has less common parts and a very specific buttstock because it was designed to hold long index controllers perfectly. So you will need to get index holders plus index buttstock for correct conversion. It's always available.
Stop writing this nonsense about very little connection with TOMAHAWK. Everyone will be notified about that repeatedly each time you will be trying. That's guaranteed. But people are not fools overall, don't keep them as fools with your AI generated standard advertising phrases.
Basically every part and button reverse engineered there as a very easy proven fact. The whole brace shape, the front magnet, the front cup. I bet you have TOMAHAWK, no need to pretend, and I already found your order in my shop in a minute, my french friend. I see my folding buttons and folding principle and tons of other details strictly copied with adding a bunch of drawbacks and impractical things, decreasing functionality a ton.
Not going to criticize that, just because I have plenty of time to perform my further actions in response. Just hold my beer.
For someone describing PHANTOM as a ābad copy with useless additionsā, you seem strangely determined to spend your time trying to harm it publicly.
Your statements are aggressive, unsupported by evidence, and highly unprofessional for a competing brand.
I have documented your accusations and will inform the rest of our team. We will continue to document any further public claims or attempts to damage PHANTOMās reputation.
Keep going if you want ā you are not doing yourself any favors.
This ādiscussionā ends here for me.
Have a nice day.
It's OG TOMAHAWK generic with a bunch of drawbacks added. And don't cover yourself with a 'team'. Self advertising is against the rules in this server. Disappear.

Hi
I have the Olen gunstock but in game when I use it specifically on the AWM it goes up
M
Does anyone have a good calibration guide for the skol vr tomahawk gun stock I canāt use angled grips properly with it and such
Here's the answer about that for every stock basically because angled grips are currently creating off sets in game. @carmine mural
Ah ok thank you only problem Iām having is ak5c iron sights but Iām good with every straight grip and also idk how to do it for the smgs but lowkey got the stock yesterday and have only been hitting head taps lowkey
That's great š Please try this calibration tutorial, it's the same for all socks. I've added you as a friend here for support. I may calibrate anything real quick for you in a short video.

I'm looking into buying a gun stock, do y'all have any recommendations as for something that's easy to use and not too clunky
use something from @mental lance actually great stocks, make sure you get a magnetic one š
-# Use code GOTBLACKMARKET to get 5% off
-# (or if you can find a bigger discount use that if you need)
I bought an Olen gunstock how do I set it up for got
How do I fix my grip issue? Like I have everything calibrated right its just fine without a grip but when I use one it points my gun at a 45

When using an angled grip? If so, its because its an angled grip. Tabor didnt find a good solution for that. Use a straight one instead

are the olen gun stock good
I have the newer version of the index tomahawk. It's clutch. My favorite by far and I've tried every popular gunstock out there. Weldvr, promag, magtube, etc. Haven't tried "phantom" but I am not interested in cheap badly hidden knock-offs. How dare she come at the OG like that, can write that down and send it to the team
whatrs ur fav?
For the index controllers I will only use the SkolVR Tomahawk. When I was using the quest 3 I tried them all but ended up switching between the skol butcher and the skol smart stock. Butcher had more to it but the lighter weight and simplicity of the smart stock just felt better sometimes
for a newbie to phys-stocks, any suggestions?
ye smartstock is pretty neat. its just too .. tiny :\
What people think of the wield vr gunstock
trash
Whatās the best vest to buy?
I ordered the gunstock off the tabor sight but it isnāt letting me track it. Itās been almost 2 weeks and it still just says waiting for details
haptic vest? from what i've heard the OWO skin is really good.
Ok thanks Iām get it
Hopefully itās actually good
it uses electrical signals instead of motors
so yo can FEEL
Excellently. Its alot of fun
You'll still use the joystick alot, but when you can use the treadmill its fun.
Like.. in buildings. Its awkward in smaller spaces with lots of turns. But running around on the island is alot of fun
So I only need to use the joystick to turn? And I could like actually run and stuff
it is a lot more intense in terms of feeling than someone like bhaptics would be. i do not recommend using owoskin for more than messing around in various games. I would say to watch a video on it so you know what you're getting yourself into
Alr
Might just get it an try it out instead cause Iām more of a hands on/visual type of person
I ordered one a couple of days ago after watching videos on it
Yea you could actually just use the joystick to turn as well. You can also of course physically turn on the treadmill
If it feels better, perhaps is more immersive and fun to use, sounds like its doing its job man
Anyone recommend me a cheap and good stock
!gunstocks
oh right dyno is dead
I feel the same honestly
Im not sure whqt you consider cheap, but the modus 4 by 3daptive for 90 dollars is really good for the price
i dont got that money
dont waste money on a cheapy amazon stock, save for a decent one
Replying to Cynthia so you see it here Jr, but yea id look into protube or SkolVR.
Iām looking to buy a good gun stock. Money is not an issue. What do you guys recommend?
Also, do you recommend a gun stock? Do you notice a big improvement using a gun stock vs no gun stock?
MagTube seems like a decent one?

Yea gunstocks are badass man. Immersion is great, target acquisition speed is amazing. They're just fun to use as well.
Yea man the Magtube is great, ive been using that lately.
SkolVR is also another great option with arguably one of the most intuitive designs, focused around speed and ease of use.
WieldVR is good too, but id recommend buying the optional magnets for it, because to be honest I HATED that design without the magnets
Whatās the best gunstock to get in 2026 someone let me know
!gunstocks

skolvr butcher stock
or better but more expensive tomahawk
worse but cheaper smart stock
Whatās a good gunstock in the 40-50 dollar CAD range?
Brother. You just gotta scroll up a bit lol

.
Can anyone help me find gun stock in asia?
what is the best gunstock for 40 60$ and most comfortable
For that price range I cant think of anything other than the smartstock by SkolVR
Ok
But the magnetic version is 70 bucks I believe? So maybe you've gotta go for the non-magnetic version
What about 100$ price range
Just print for your own
magni stock
Is buying a gunstock worth it?
Yes
i got the SkolVR Butcher and its good, now i realize i need quest pro controllers for sniping cuz of the ghosting
dont waste ur money on the cheepios
Iāve got the skolvr butcher ,but Iāve been struggling with recoil control even with the stock idk what it is but seems a bit difficult. Might just be plain bad , but Also wondering if people use hand smoothing when using gunstocks.
No you just need to calibrate
Hand smoothing is garbage in ghosts of tabor.
Just simply tilt the stock down a little bit while firing.
Play with it in the firing range
Thanks for the help turned hand smoothing off and it helped a tad @timid heath
Yea no problem man. Glad I could help
recoil control on gunstocks is not the easiest thing, and you have to get used to it. i recommend using low recoil weapons like the AK-109, or tap-firing instead of mag dumping. if you're one to mag dump and not actually aim, dont use a gunstock
What is a good gunstock for a person that has never used one
Iāve asked that and they said personal preference but I think the one on the tabor website is good
Np
!gunstocks this is a list of gunstocks, i recommend Protube's Magtube
User Ceps made a giant list of reliable gunstocks for use in Ghosts of Tabor!
Yea, the magtube is dope as hell
why does my hand go all overt the place when using my gunstock
Make sure u have the correct game settings on for ur gunstock
here i think i can post my review of ptouve. also wondering if the mishaps happens to others https://youtu.be/ucCopRU7Ls4
Your video looks like the terrible acting on infomercials. You can watch Pwn1 or RageSaq without the dramatization this guy is adding.
My magtube is fantastic, maybe you got a bad magnet or you need to flip yours around to the dominant hand if one is stronger. Not sure but I donāt have that issue ever.
Setting?
i did not pretend anything. Its a standard protube magtube. I am also saying that it is good. It just cant take a bigger pressure against the arm. the front magnet ataching can alos cause the dismount.
im not sayin protube is bad. I was not recording times when it worked (i actually aded two moments). The magnets are the same strenght. I noticed that the dominant magnet have the additional locking system for the magnet stability. the dramatization you talk about... like what? I posted this video because ragesaq and other content creator partners of protube will not mention any issues. Now I did played pavlov and this game likes the fast paste behavior. Its different in GoT. protube works well when there is no pressure. CQB is pressure. GoT is "tactics" (in the bush on the hill)
Yea so... your definitely a little rough/fast paced with stocks. Which is fine by the way, but when your playing a fast paced game I see why this is happening to you.
Your playstyle definitely is better suited by a Skol stock i would say
very true. as long as im OK with fixed stocks. (i am not). I need my free hand. I tried to throw a precise nades with smartock "glued" to my dominant.. Its far from ideal. Nice to see that you are noticing the tempo
I would like to aply to my gaming. I do pavlov. its a fast paste game. It does not mean that i should be restricted by a device. Skol would be better for my playstyle (in my game). if onbly I would ditch the utilities. I wont ditch them..
if I were to choose between protube and any skol stock, in my game, for my play style, i would go for skol. (you are 100% right there). But this is a major restriction. Im not even talking about 1st round of SND (free hand handguns). I need my precise, dominant hand throws. Protube takes too much time to regrab. Skol is nowhere near a precise free hand throw. at least from what I tired)
but ouf of those two. skol wins
Plurastock feels like it might patch the hole.. the gunstock that disapears while staying at the dominant hand.. seems like a good approach. ill be reporiting on that
Can someone help me get a kit? I'm new and need help
do you have a 3d printer?
-# they mean in game loot, like chest rig and guns
oh. sry. the channel name distracted me
Yeah I get it lol
I was confused at first too (since theyāre not when allowed to ask that here)
Yea. I 100% get what your saying. Games like exfilzone its totally fine to have that dominant hand restricted because of the grenade throwing assist mechanics, but if you dont have those in games like Onward and Pavlov, then it can feel really really bad.
Basically if im playing a game like that with a Skol stock, which 9 times out of 10 I do, then i rely heavily on my left hand for throwing them, which is weird because im right handed.
I certainly probably wouldn't look to play a bunch of Vail with my pro-tube, so i can totally respect where your coming from.
But because ive never tried it, I probably will hahaha
š all good. @simple pewter ask in chit chat. or general.
!lfg neither of those lol

You know.. that pistol magnet for the new tomahawk is actually pretty good once you get the muscle memory for it
Only issue is... its heavier than the smart stock, which im sure wont be good for you of course
im coming from a game where throws are actually..throws. Not like Forefront or EZ. but i noticed that even those throws (the point and click) are more precise and faster if you do them free hand. Sure they are not needed, but so do the precise dominant throws in pavlov. You can throw with the off hand and be somewhat sure of the trow. Hell I did it for years in Pav with flashes, just to prove that games that do "respect" the throw can be handled without detaching the dominant hand. (skol). but then I was able to go for a true free hand throws. More often than not I will be throwing those nades with my dominant (left) hand if I want to score the kill. And more often than not I will do the roman salut with a free hand (forefront) to precisely aim the nade. I think there is an inherent value in throwing a nade of of free hand. no metter the stylwe
i think, there are better solutions fror a handgun and a fixed stock. tomahawk have a "two click" way for "disapearing" the butt. Its cool for sure, and it works. But... Kobra made a stock that disapears his butt in one move. Plurastock does that too. and then some more. I feel like the Plurastrock will be faster than Kobra
I feel like Plurastock might be the new best thing..
for the upcoming season
Plurastock hey? I might have to check them out. But you havent seen this guy tho hey? Thats the magnet Im referring to.
Yea.. nobody is going to fold the Skol stock up lol.
what the actual f*ck š ok then, im gonna post something that you might see as valuable or as a fart.
Oh wait right right. Plurastock. Im in their discord too lol
i know š
He can make his butt ( and his main rail) disapear. but so do I š
And just to clarify, the one in this short is your design correct?
yes. I`ve been nerding out on that for quite some time
But yea man. Side mounted magnet, so even if the buttstock is out it actually feels really good for the handguns, assuming your holding your hands extended like a proper pistol firing position would be anyways
Yea that looks like a pretty sick design. You got anymore info about it?
Yeah.. you got 5 hours?? š
I mean... over the next day or so ill have 5 hours collectively š¤£š¤£
Overall I like the Plurastock. There is a common understanding for what the VR gunstock is (and is not). He can actually disapear his stock with some cool moves. This is what I tried to do. I just prefer true free hand. But tbh, the quick vanish of the butt and the main rail n Plurastock might be the natural upgrade from tiny skol stocks. The Field of fixed stocks is narrowing down.. There will be blood:d
be careful. unistock is a true rabbit hole š
Yea that Plurastock looks cool as heck. You can certainly tell that the primary design is for story-driven games instead of games like Pavlov because of the lack of a cheek weld. But it certainly would still work just fine.
Think so? The steamframe will probably kick of TONS of sales for ALL gunstock manufacturers i assume.
Yea i gotta check that thing out man
If your looking for the lightest stock simply for speed and usability however, no cheek weld is probably a good thing
oh so true. even Henri the maker is a single player gamer. unfortunately for me, I went for Pavlov. the fastest PvP VR FPS... I will be checking the plurastock in a near future. I dont expect it to be beneficial in PvP. Or maybe it will. As long as there is only one move to get rid of the unwanted gunstock parts, it might prove to be useful in pavlov. Sometimes the maker is not realizing the potential. If the stock would truely disapear with just one move, and be properly stabile once its extended, it might be huge.
i just.. cant see the butt position to be anywhere close to "aim at draw". especially including the cheekrest. (witch he does not have)
i would go for OG Bowk.. skol is good and all, but split stocks are not my type of jam. or with just one magnetic bar connecting the aiming hand. It holds well, like you said, but you also noticed that i tend to do fast paste. and there the Y wobble is a noticable thing. every single thing that was just a minor incovenience (or even unnoticable) in a "tactical" tempo, once it gets to the CQB speeds it grows. you wanna check the gunstocks limits, go play pavlov DM/TDM.. and win. Its going to show all the miliseconds added to usability. Its not noticable in EZ GoT Onward and any other slower paste games. but when there is no break from action, you have to rely on the device. I played without the cheek weld for many years. I thought its useless in fast paste. until I made one that actually is in the right pos. Your face shouldnt be bending toward it. it should find itself rigt where it needs to be, at the draw. It can be done with every stock that has the cheekrest but somehow I just couldnt get used to the position smartstock and protube fo9rced me to put my face. thats probably bc their cheekrests are aways at 90 degree regarding the butt. It turns out, its better to have it under a slight angle and the whole butt moved closer to your body.
