How do I resolve this?

• Please make sure you're on the latest version of Windows

How do I know I have the correct certificate?

• Open Windows Search > Type "Manage Computer Certificates" > Double click the "Trusted Root Certification" folder > Double click on "Certificates" > and ensure you have Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2

If you have that certificate, you are all clear! Happy raids

SGT Anthony Rivera was the bravest man I ever knew. He was funny, dependable, fearless, and beyond being a soldier he was my brother. The day cancer took him, I cursed God. I could not understand how someone like Rivera could be gone while someone like me still walked this earth.

But I see it differently now. God called one of His best home to stand by His and Jesus's side. In time, I found my faith again. Rivera taught me lessons that still shape me, and I am better for having walked beside him.

The day of his funeral, I was angry, bitter, and full of hate. But time and faith have a way of healing all wounds. Today, I wake up joyful. I get to see my kids smile first thing in the morning, and I get to read them the Gospel before bed. My life is full. I am loved, and I love.

But here is why I am writing this. Someone reading this right now needs to hear it. Maybe you were about to do something you cannot take back. I am glad you stopped for a moment to read this instead. Take a breath. Today is not that day. You still have so much more to do. People love you. Christ loves you.

Do not leave us, your story is not finished yet.

With the changes with Island of Tabor, Chodov Mall, and Matka Miest now having dynamic time of day, mission for Night Matka were reset to be more generic missions to complete.

If you had active missions on Night Matka, you will need to abandon them and reselect the new missions.

To note something of this change, you will no longer see the "Servers are updating" message in raid before an update. You can now safely exit raid with your gear and return to bunker, with you needing to update before your next raid.

tl;dr - No more "servers updating" message, update before your next raid.

Firstly, if you are not on Quest v81, this post will not apply to you.

If you're experiencing performance issues on native Quest with OS update v81, here is a temporary solution to this issue:

Go to Settings > Advanced > Disable Seamless Multitasking

If you restart your headset after disabling, make sure to check that seamless multitasking is still disabled.

After having our first DDoS attack on the service, we have now taken measures in our infrastructure to resolve the issue.

The infrastructure changes means it can take up to 24 hours for some people before they can join the game again as it relies on your internet provider to update.

If you are on PC you can try to open a command prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns.
if you are on Quest you can try to restart the headset and see if it helps.
in either case you can also try turn off your internet router wait a little bit and then turn it back on.

We've been working weekends, long days and throughout several nights. Tonight, approaching 1am, we came to the conclusion that we needed some rest to get clear eyes on the update for one final push before delivering it to you all.

The update will be delayed from a morning (ET) wipe to a late evening (ET) update in order to ensure we can put the final touches on the update.

You have probably seen the news about layoffs, game cancellations, and strategy shifts happening at Meta. We want to be very clear about one important thing up front.

Combat Waffle Studios is not owned by Meta.

We are an independent studio. We partner with Meta across several programs that we believe will continue forward, but we ultimately control our own studio, our own decisions, and the future of Ghosts of Tabor.

That said, we would be lying if we said the current state of the industry does not affect everyone. Game sales across the entire market from flat to vr are shifting. Because of that, you may see us make tough calls around roadmaps, staffing, or priorities when necessary. Those decisions are always made for one reason only. To make sure Ghosts of Tabor, this community, and this studio remain strong, sustainable, and leaders in the VR space.

We are fully committed to giving one hundred percent of ourselves to this game and to you. That has not changed and it is not changing.

On a more immediate note.

A big hotfix is coming in the days ahead to address several issues that are still breaking gameplay for some of you.

Also, keycards will be returning to crates through the random loot pool system.

• The only two services with minor issues are Meta & Cloudflare, both of which are unrelated to Ghosts of Tabor.

Some users are reporting issues with Meta Quest Link to play on PCVR. This was a recent update by Meta which has made their software unusable at the moment.

From Fish:

the only reason people can do this in the first place is because they're downgrading to such an old version that it is not protected by battleye.
this leaves our IP and source code vulnerable to some extent, even if the game itself doesn't work.

Downgrading in itself is not harmful, but those versions are now being used to make modified game files and that is a big no-no.
So we bite the head off the snake and are doing what we can to get those versions of the game removed entirely, and then ban anyone who continues to use them.

People can play the live-service game as it is, or not play it, but they cannot play unofficial modified versions.

I have seen a lot of comments on socials about this being a DLC.

First DLCs keep funding for the employees who do all this work. They are apart of every game. While people love and hate them, they are needed.

Second NO this is not a DLC on its own. We are actually doing a free dlc, twitch drops and a paid dlc (extremely cheap like 2-3 USD) for masks. And NO not all of the cool skins will be in a paid DLC. These will be mixed appropriately.

I hear you on DLCs and this is the start of us releasing more free DLC to the community as well.

As some of you know, a portion of our content creators were hit with massive Twitch subscription charge backs, totaling well over +$10,000.

So far, Twitch has been unresponsive towards this issue.

• As some of you noticed, we had intended for the bosses to be disabled for the first week of wipe. This however, was not set properly internally and bosses were still spawning. This should now be fixed, with only Krtek back in Missile Silo.

• Additionally, we will be enabling one boss of YOUR CHOOSING next week! You can either vote for The Collector (Matka Miest) or Mamba (Island of Tabor) to return next week.

Memorial Day is not about those who served and came home. We honor our veterans on Veterans Day. Today is for our brothers and sisters who never got that chance. The ones who made the ultimate sacrifice so others could live free.

This has caused us to hit the point where we need some help and we are putting the call out to you! If you love a good Discord session and want to get more involved with Combat Waffle Studios, we want to hear from you.

What does a Moderator need to do?
The main tasks that moderators would be responsible for can be summarized as follows:

Helping to introduce new ideas and manage conversations.
Helping run planned AMA (Ask me Anything) sessions.
Checking into assigned channels regularly to make sure everything is okay.
Moderating threads in the event of conflict among members.
Giving friendly warnings to those who break community guidelines.
If necessary, banning anyone from the server who repeatedly violates community guidelines.
Offering advice and support to members asking questions.

Combat Waffle Studios is happy to announce a partnership with Forge Relations. Forge Relations is a marketing giant. They work with people like artist Post Malone, twitch partner and influencer Alex Zedra, companies like G Fuel, Sig Sauer, H&K, Glock, Henry Rifles, Eotech and more.

With this partnership comes full social media management from the ground up, along with Public Relations. We will also receiving brand deals to feature companies in Ghosts of Tabor in different ways from their other clients. We will also receive open access to different gun brands like those mentioned above to obtain licensing rights to use them in our game. No other VR game has obtained this type of licensing agreement to date; even Call of Duty Warzone doesn’t have these licensing agreements.

This partnership w/ Forge Relations takes us to a totally new level.
