ah, thats because each trader can have several questlines. Spectre can unlock a different one early on by completing a quest from another trader. So you can have two questlines in parallel for him

• Insurance
• Server crash protection
• Bugs

Currently, due to bug, you get everything back most of the time as if server crashed.

What really should happen is only getting stuff back that you insured or when your game crashed, provided if you are solo, since that's treated like server crash and then you get stuff back in 24h.

Forget about relying on getting your shit back every time.

in game, in menu, under profile, you can reset your account. You can reset your account once per wipe. It resets all progress for you just like wipe just happened for you.

The fix for me was restart the occulus vr runtime service in services.msc. then (inside the quest) turn airlink off in the menu so it defaults to quest link, then reboot the headset. when it boots back up wait 10 seconds or so, then flip the airlink back on and voila!

The key I think is for the headset to reboot all the way, be idle, THEN flip airlink on and it works but thats not scientific, its just vibes

There is nothing you can do, however you can hope that the PvE bug still brings back your gear in 24h. Since you died, it's certainly not treated as server crash however.

it's not that bad, check this chart or fmj 30-06 for example:
pierce mult: % of base damage if bullet pierces armor
blunt mult: % of base dmg if bullet doesn't pierce armor
as a practical example, shooting someone with a krtek rig in the chest (100% dmg mult for the bodypart) with a bar (67.3 base dmg) will have a 75% for each shot to penetrate (65% dmg mult = ~44dmg), the rest will do blunt dmg (15% dmg mult = ~10dmg)
in case of a collector kit, the chance is 10% to do 55%dmg i.e 37dmg, and the rest will be blunt for 7% dmg, i.e. 4dmg
