Bullets in a caliber have damage falloff, but that is entirely independent of what gun fires them.

The Flat change you're talking about does exist for some specific weapons both up (kimber dealing more damage than the base 1911) and down (BRN-180 dealing less damage than the AK-103)

Currently have a "Predator" Stalker Suit (Medium) because that's what I found, luckily has good slots and carry weight

you can carry both for like 1-2kgs heavier than just the ballistic helmet

Another tip is don't run Spartan helmet if you run something high BR

Run a heavy gas mask to offset all the disadvantages

Yeah but if you're running command armor, you have like 0 rad resistance or resistance to any anomalies

A good gas mask offsets those disadvantages
