i like how it offers a variety of stuff that u can do and find. and i love the good old stalker immersion, gamma has that going pretty well
i honestly didnt finish a sigle gamma playthrough yet. ive put a lot of hours into it but never got far. everytime some thing got updated or broken before i could make it far. furthest ive made it was like radar, but im a really slow player when it comes to this though
ill waste hours just killing random shit for the fun of it instead of doing quests
you don't have to update until after a playthrough if you choose
also ive heard the quest line gets kinda meh when u get up north

surprisingly it fixes some later-game issues like having too much money all the time, new battery types for different devices, additional PDA tier that works with milspec PDA, a way to recharge batteries, all a bunch of nice stuff

also allows emissions/anomalies/gunfights to damage or break your devices, which ive always felt were too strong of a tool since you never lose access to them
youre never without your pda map even early game and you rarely replace batteries let alone run out

@stark wyvern Anomaly has a limit of a total of 65535 objects (IDs) in the game. Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers. If that ID number reaches 65535, the game crashes, and you won't be able to play anymore on that same game file, unless you "free" some IDs.
You can lower the amount of used IDs by letting items despawn or by selling/donating them at any trader.

Nah I always repair my shit. It lasts longer and the if the parts condition is just above 60 u can make the part not repairable if u use it
i wait until my armour gets close to 85% and then i use duct tape + cloth mask
puts it back to 100 or close to it

can even carry glucose shots for food

if you want purified lurker meat buff its not heavy
so you also carry the red stove + kerosene + bunch of vodka to cook purified meat on the go

The reason why they tell you not to enable any of those mods in MO2 is because the files from them would fuck with integrations made in some of the GAMMA-specific mods, which are basically conglomerations of most of the disabled mods you see but edited to work together with everything else/to have Grok's intended values for GAMMA. They only exist to have the baseline files that the GAMMA edits require to... edit. 
if you add blocks it tends to cause imbalance though
if you stack it too high it falls over on its own
The introduction of DLTX did make it a lot easier to add blocks to the jenga tower, but there's no promising that the blocks will play nicely with any OTHER blocks that you try to add after that, or any that were already there.

I would say that GAMMA is a jenga tower that's been glued together, and trying to remove any of the blocks basically requires you to knock the whole damn thing down. 
back then i used to get a 50/50 on if it would crash on loading
now its a 1/20 chance
despite not running default list too
The main instability for GAMMA for me personally is just Busyhands, which can be reduced by not spamming actions.
