BR matters at the beginning but once you move to the north it doesn't anymore cause enemies got AP rounds and will penetrate your armor no matter the BR you got
You should focus more on ballistic res than BR
But at the end you have to constantly choose between ballistic res/rupture res or weight carrying or elemental res so having an armor with a lot of belt slots (even if it got bad base stats) make you more adaptative in your expeditions
For exemple : actually I'm in Outskirts doing quests with the orange SP99 suit with about 75% ballistic res (but about 10 BR) and 110kg of weight and it's perfect for dealing with Mono or sins and once I wanna do the anomaly samples quests I only have to switch for few artifacts I got in my bag to quickly get about 80% res in every elemental res (or so)
BR class doesn’t matter if you can cap your br% with Artis

When i switch to the UBGL the scope goes completely dark, as if the shader bugged or something

that would also depend on average fight length as well. I'd say that all guns should work fine for length of an average fight, then are looking at expensive repair, depends of what gun it is. Sniper rifle should need a good cleanup, reasonable AR should only need some spit and quick dustoff
no it just means every gun has a base jam chance
and thats added to your parts jam chance, meaning if one of your parts is dirty the chance is higher
that increase is shown on the stat card, but you cant see the base jam chance
i suggest turning on the mod that removes the jam chance at full condition, its not good for gameplay, or realistic

If you turn off having UBGL as a separate key, you can get around this, but of course, you lose the ability to have UBGL as its own key. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the way it handles the separate key for UBGL, but since that's part of the modded exes or whatever, I'm not sure how to change it.

i would say FMJ for most cuz they usually wear meh armor, but if u see any sin with exo try to use AP ammo, they are tanky mostly for the flat 65% damage reduction they have but the armor is most of the time bad

Yeah, and P90 is a bit more popular from what I've seen. Have tried the two and while I mostly use the P90 as a Merc since NATO faction and all that, objectively, I'd use the 9x21mm over the 5.7mm if I had to choose. That raw damage seems more important than the AP (given you're already probably using a larger caliber assault rifle or battle rifle).
I prefer the p90 due to mag size
Other than that i'd use the veresk since it has almost no recoil

Getting toxic air around big anomalies/ some specific areas liek garbage hills and undergrounds for example is cool but if its all over the place indeed can be annoying

Besides the atmosphere, the progression, and difficulty all feel properly done. Enemies are somewhat spongy, but that's just how it is supposed to be. Would be cool if someone made a "realistic" difficulty preset where one bullet can take you down if it hits you in the right bodypart, and vice versa, but even without it the game feels well

Hey, anyone has any issues with mutants teleporting around?
Its not consitent, does not happen every time, but quite often anyway, with different mutants - they just "jitter" around, teleporting by 2-3m every second, mixed in with normal movement animations/attacks. Off the top of my head the most promimently affected so far were Burers and Fractures, but i've also seen a dog or Lurker do that.
I just made a completely fresh GAMMA reinstall a couple days ago, and i've never seen or experienced this before, be it myself or on ANY gameplay videos i've watched

i did it with ap rounds in a p90, but with the armor monolith has in that place it completely doable in FMJ
I've always been a huge fan of the RPK-16, especially with Magazines mod on. High rate of fire, super high ammo capacity, low recoil, access to both HP and AP rounds, and large variety of scopes... an amazing all-rounder, and almost as good at full-auto shredding Monolithians as an AS VAL
One of those guns that when you have it, you don't really need anything else, it can fill all the roles very well - good at sniping with a scope on, good at mutant killing, good at CQC.

i loved it even before that. And as a mutant killer sidearm for small game, i always carried a Coonan .357 (Magazines mod allows for 13rnd mags, makes it a lot better)

If you have the Magazines mod enabled, NATO traders will sell extended mags for the Coonan. Makes it actually viable, and probably my favourite pistol in the game.

True. It is a great all rounder, tho the issue is it doesn't excel at anything particular. I prefer to have 1 main for the human enemies and 1 main for the muties usually so AS Val + KS-23 or Groza filled with AP and Vogs is usually what I run, tho it is quite a heavy loadout
For me the endgame loadout usually ended up being some sort of .308 DMR (SCAR-H) or an SVDS, with a RAPTR/UMP-45/Frasier as a secondary
If there was a racking mechanism in the game (instead of just unjamming) it'd be awesome to run that, but since that pesky one in the chamber is always in I prefer to just have guns that excel at their particular niche
And I know I can just turn off the whole "One in the chamber" mechanic, but I prefer it on. I like it that way
