Not really. I mean it all depends on your feel for the gun. Spraying and praying with an AK is just as valid as shredding with a Val, thing is each gun has it's own Niche. AKs are "jacks of all trades, masters of none", SVD is the long range king, AS Val is the CQB shredder, but you wouldn't use SVD up close or AS Val when enemies are on the other side of Zaton right?

I personally enjoy sniping, and that is why we see the difference. My playstyle is to engage long range if possible, if not close the gap as quickly as I can and shred. Basic tactics, but I do enjoy putting rounds in the enemy forehead from a distance, and you enjoy cqc. You see the cqc all the time, and don't really think much about the drawbacks of the gun overall
