It seems you won't. Probably you have installed the mod incorrectly or it's not working at all. You better stick to default Gamma modlist or use mods from https://discord.com/channels/912320241713958912/1035807043933720576 only.

so for some reason i cant equip anything in my hand and npc seem to have a similar problem where they loop equip animations
i did have a max carry weight mod and body dots on map before turning them off but that didnt fix it

Anyone actually get any unused Mutants to spawn others than the Biblio thing? I'm going through each unused mutant and it would seem the game only wants to spawn Chimeras or the Juggernaut the Biblio. Not sure I've seen a Boryas(sp?). Definitely havent seen anything other than the chimera and biblio spawn. Curious if anyone knows if they work but in a certain area only? Pictures of the unused would be ncie too

If you want to do this in the "easy way" you can simply adjust settings in the reshade settings in game. It should have a lot in there for you to tweak. There is no real easy answer to this one however.

@novel isleyeah not sure i know before the new update there was a reshade mod that made the game look exactly like it dose now. just cant remember the name of it. i had it activated before the update and was using it. i believe it was "red" in the name of it.

Starting to get a massive slow-down when opening/closing inventories or when transferring items. Happened after an hour or so of playing. Just started my official playthrough so haven't noticed if this is the game being open too long, running too long or the playthrough is stacking" something and causing the issue.
Going to try a restart for now. Hopefully I don't have to keep doing it every hour ;P
Also. Should my Console show [182268]? I would think there is a way to clear this or this could eventually get to be a large number. Is there a need to clear this if it gets to a certain point?
I have a theory that adding too much items to favourite or junk category causes stuttering during item transfering. Regarding freezing on inventory opening, you should store less items in one container, use multiple for different kinds of items instead.

I just started a playthrough and I think I have 2 stashes of moderate storage. Maybe 70kg each (stash boxes). I dont even think I hit the max (legit) weight limits of anything yet. But I'll keep an eye. Thanks.
OMG!. The SPEED I can transfer now. HAHA. I removed most of what i had in junk/favorites and now the transfer of items is light-speed. Bye bye categories lol.

@tropic kite @tiny zinc A bit of a late follow up, but I thought I might share: I found the culprit for the weird crash with "can't open section kerosene__3". Autocomplete Tasks has a MCM function that can replace physical items with their monetary worth and somehow the script breaks down for multi use items that are not foodstuffs (like vodka or MREs). Already reported to the mod author and thought I share with you guys as well, for closure xD Thanks again for helping me earlier

They are actually, I really have no idea how the script works, so I couldn't tell you why it works with foodstuffs but not kerosene π€·ββοΈ I just wen't into the MCM config file and turned off the option and now it works again 
Yo i keep getting 2 hides/pelts/skin instead of 1, it doesn't say i got 2. i messed the settings of artefact conditions when i pick them up but i dont think it should affect mutant skins, anyway to fix it?

I am using the Ultimate GUn Pack 1.5.5 as well as THE THING, and have a Brownells 180, which uses 556x45 ammo.
I bought some old ammo to use with it, however, the ammo does not show up in the weapon ammo wheel, nor in the inventory. Money is subtracted, weight is added for carrying ammo, but the ammo does not exist in my inventory.
I used 556x39 old ammo fine.
Those are the only two major mods that modify ammo/add guns that I have, so I am not sure what else could be causing that issue.
Are you sure they are not instantly converted to "new" ammo?

sup can someone help me my mini map wont show mod is on minimap is ticked in settings no idea what to do
I am playing with the ultimate gun pack. I have playing on a character for a couple days without much issue. Today my game with crash every 5-10 minutes without an error message. When I checked the log it is giving me a bunch of errors related to different weapons. All of the weapons from the gun pack are in the game and working I believe. Not sure what the issue is.

havent changed anything since starting other than disabling NPCs dying in emissions since it was causing issues
I did try renaming the file to "ammo_357_fmj_mono" to see what happened and got the exact same error for what its worth

looks like it, I followed the UGP guide linked in the thread for it, the only special instructions it had were for if I wanted traders selling guns

already tested that, saves seem shot, it looks for a "Powder_fire" file on loading

i died, restarted and the hud its not showing ammo count, psyhealth, the minimap its also missing, tried reloading and restarting, made new game its still there, what do?

double check that your HUD is on. Default toggle is numpad enter. Minimap has its own toggle key, / by default
H also toggles HUD options. I couldnt find anywhere thst states H toggles HUD options though. It's supposed to be the Exo Suit Power but it also changes HUD things like removing ammo count and Psy bar.

Hmm. I have grass basically disabled and if this boosts FPS without actually removing "grass" thats awesome. Does this change Stormy to Blizzardy? I love a good storm. The grass performance is just too much to turn density/size up, plus the fact that so many mutants are as tall as the grass lol.

I have been in here for months and when I sent a message in the Stalker general channel I was "kicked out", why?
Because you were in here BEFORE we got this rank thing in motion, so it's like you didn't have a role for the server, yet.
By posting, the server automatically gave you the "Novice" role, which is the "first official role" you get, after the "newbie" role.
This role simply prevent you to talk in #ββ’stalker-chat, the rest of the server is available for you.
We had to take restrictive measures because most of the newcomers in here remove the role BEFORE even installing G.A.M.M.A., to then go all over the server asking "how do I install GAMMA?" or newbie questions in general, especially in that channel and since we had a lot of complains about this situation, we decided to "lock" that particular chat behind XP. It's not really that problematic since the newbie channel is far more active these days and the old timers spend their time in there as well.
To unlock the channel, you'll have to reach the Rookie rank, which is lvl. 6 (1,625 XP), you get XP by talking, 5-13 XP per messages, it's random.

It does not do any of that shit. It simply makes the trees and bushes look as if it's winter i.e. leafless. Aydin's Grass is ALREADY one of the better performing grass packs

When disabling all factions in the ZCP addon, in the "stalkers" tab, sim_board.script crashes when creating a new game. Can anyone suggest what the problem is and how to fix it? I'm using ZCP 1.4.

Just had to update all my drivers. Ran into an issue with that and had to do a bit of tinkering with the computer, but I think it was just a simple restart that fixed it. After that I updated them, restarted again, launched and everything ran fine

I JUST had that happen recently. I accepted a mission but never got it in the Task list and just...moved on. I forget what the mission was for.
Do you have the mission item. Sometimes I've accidentally put the mission item in a stash.
Do you have the item in your inventory still?
The quest does say that you have to get the decoder to Strider. Generally quest items are actual items in your inventory. Worth a look.
Having issue with Companions constantly stopping on their own. Every single area has 1 spot my companions will get stuck. Garbage, Cordon, Truck Cemetary, 100 Rad Bar. I seemingly can't get them to follow me for a complete mission, always having to reload the game or reload the area.
Now just 2 started following me again out of nowhere. HAHA, this is all types of busted.
Is there a command for Anti Companion Defaults? I've tried increasing and decreasing these values, turning them on or off and it's a mess getting them to follow correctly. IDK if they are healing, tired, scared, lost...lol. Given the systems at work in this game I assume they could very well just be...dumb and not understand where I went HAHA. Stealth system have anything to do with this? Maybe I am too stealth to follow? Lol. Just tossing out theories.

Seemingly getting very hitchy performance on my playthrough. It doesn't seem to change much unless I NUKE Stalker population.

I am JUST entering Dead City at this moment. There is a firefight happening. BUT, even after all this killing/death happens it steadies around 25-30fps. Anytime I move...instant slow-down and hitch. More so a hitch than slow-down as even at low FPS the game shouldn't hitch so much. Dead City definitely is the first time I've noticed this Hitching issue.
I should have asked before starting my playthrough where the worst FPS areas are so i could test and optimize for those areas first.

I load into Dead City and wathc the frames seemingly get "Capped" to 30.
This is kind of interesting as nowhere else have I noticed this slow drop to 30fps then stabilize.
It seems like Dead City has its' own FPS Cap or something.
In some instances fps indeed caps at 30, don't know what causes this but it's not related to specific levels I believe.
Dead City just has too many spawns I guess...

Oleh, there is an AI spawn optimization but I cant find it. Something to change the value of Ai spawning from 2000 to 1000 or something? Ima go eat but I appreciate trying to help. Ill try 1080p later and see that'll be enough to get through Dead City.
!busyfix If I'm not mistaken auto_switch_distance_start determines radius of loading dynamic objects. You can also try reducing rendering distance if you haven't done that already.
A possible fix for health HUD related 'busyhands' on load/transition:
Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs
If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.
12x76 SLUGS to the face of this guy. Now around 10 shots to the face. This and I know people will hate me for it, this, is the most IMBALANCED game I've ever played. Easy mode, Bullet power 3, SLUG, 10ft from enemy. ADS to face....10 shots and he is still alive.
MY GOD the sheer amount of broken nature in this game is crazy to me. Who the heck says this game is even remotely balanced. SHOW ME PROOF that a SLUG to the face...10 times is ANY sort of balance.
There IS a bug that some people had where enemies were invincible, so maybe that's what you are dealing with. Tho there is ap slugs

Dead City will need me to create a new save and test only dead city spawns. Thinking Stalker population of 1 is too much for GAMMA to handle. And to think, I wanted Population Factor 3 like Mutants. The world is huge but dead too. I adjusted spawns super high so i could enjoy shooting something for a change. The original 3 games were awesome but, very boring in nature. The only real firefights were the end missions on all 3 games so i wanted GAMMA to be my RUN AND GUN stalker. I think I pushed it too far and Stalker spawns need to be NUKED. Seems slightly odd that MAX mutant spawns are fine but anything above default Stalker spawns and the game has a fit.
I want more stalkers for loot, but the slow-downs might not be worth it. Might go back to default traders selling weapons and gear so i can enjoy using thousand sof rounds of ammo on mutants without needing stalkers to get my loot.
This, all because I wanted more action.

Well I'm guessing that your those guns are in the wrong spot in your load order. Just a wild guess there. You should go back to the video and see if he makes any mention of a load order or maybe even has it in his video description.

If you look at your crash log, each error line says that that DLTX attempted to override them. Now I am saying this from a completely unexperienced standpoint with this situation. If you are determined to run this setup then perhaps you should look into your load order. Maybe the guns should load after DLTX, however that could cause a host of other problems. Perhaps ask the dude if he is willing to share his exported modlist from MO2.

Alright. My gun is shooting whenever it wants, my guy just unequipped his backpack mid-fight. Lots of issues today in Dead City.
I removed the Disable Core 0 EXE but am unsure which EXE I was using before. Now it's just opening to an Explorer folder.
And now it's not.
I'm confused by the amount of issues just from entering Dead City. Mouse clicks without clicking, unequipping backpacks outside of the inventory (not to be confused with quick release), reloading shoots the gun, I cant change mouse options in windows, invincible enemies.
I will say I've felt pretty good about how smooth testing has gone but now the problems are stacking and out of the blue just in this 1 singular area. Dead City has halted our play lol.
When creating a stash I am now TOSSING inventory items. What is this new issue?
Apparently I have an overlapping keybind of some sort that tosses inventory items...when creating stashes.
And now I lost my backpack.
BAHAHA, this is quite the mess huh? Apparently the Companion wheel is accessible while creating a stash, and thus pressing the Companion keybind plus shift right after I am now dropping items.
Not sure why I'd want to use a COMPANION wheel for dropping.....MY backpack. Silly.
Companion wheel should not be accessible during Stash creation. Might need a fix for that mod now that we know there is an overlapping issue.

Something weird about Stash Creation and the Shift keybind. Not sure what mods are causing this issue.

I believe the culprit is Tooltip in Corner. It Conflicts with Creating Stashes and using SHIFT. It is somehow attaching SHIFT to dropping items from Inventory.
I believe the "Invincible Enemy" was an NPC with a Helmet (Armor) and Buckshot only STUNS Armored NPC's. I thought you could shoot someone in the face like Tarkov so even with armor you'd get killed but not this game. Now I understand why the "stagger" movement, to say the ammo is weak to this enemy or hitpoint be it torso armor or head armor.

before the 0.9 update I had enabled trader overhaul for traders to sell guns, but after the 0.9 update they wont sell guns anymore. i reenabled the overhaul but they still don't. am I supposed to add something along with it or is the overhaul no longer working?

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?
G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

In my testing I was getting roughly +80FPS in 1440p on medium settings.
After a short playthrough and visiting Dead City I am now only getting 60fps on 1080p on the lowest settings. Not sure what really happened but my performance has tanked since going to Dead City and clearing out the Faction. I had hoped just clearing the area would fix it but now Cordon is getting poor performance too where normally I'd get 90FPS at 1440p, am now getting maybe 60fps on 1080p lowest settings.
I have done most of the performance tweaks and just cant get this to run nicely anymore.
Not sure what else besides putting Stalker spawns below GAMMA defaults. The only other thing I can think is I simply have too many Stalker Spawns

I guess I thought the world was most Intense when populating and thus starting a new world and playing for 30minutes would give me a good idea as to how much I would need to run it at it's max resource state.
Due to it being an older engine, you might just be forced to deal with....slightly undesirable issues, such as low frames (I don't think 60 frames is low, but I'm just saying it is to match what you are saying.)

I find default a bit too quiet to I raised the stalker spawns until it was stable in FPS. But...didnt test for mroe than 30min to maybe an hour if i did per world.

Zcp changes are progressive, meaning over time more stuff appears once you do your changes. Just know, you'll experience frame dips as the world gets more and more pop

Hello, i need some with anomaly where after installing Beef's NVGs, my NVGs wont even turn on ._. The animation to pulling them down plays but the NVGs dont activate. It doesnt even bring up the NVGs hud. Im on DX10AVX, no reshaders. I use MCM and mo2.
I have this issue when doing too many actions too quick. I think a save and reload will band-aid it for now.

Yes, you have to use MO2, you're not obligated to use it but it's clearly the best thing to do since it's the best way to organize everything

You are not supposed to use looted weapons without repairing in gamma. But if really want to see MCM -> Drop Condition.
IIRC in MCM settings you need to find Better Stats Bars and you need to check the compatibility check for GAMMA

hey, need some help. when i press the button R it doesn't reload. here's what i did. 1. checked controls. the button for reload was R. I then checked mod config to see if i accidently put R for something there too. I checked there was none. then i pressed Y to check my ammo... It said i have no ammo. Keep in mind that With mags redux you should also have Ammo Check turned on. You need to add magazines to your loadout with Alt+Left Click, then you need to manually load them. Once that is done you can then reload the firearm.

Gentlemen, i'm running into an issue where all my status effect symbols are solid black squares as seen here:
Now, on my last PC i was running an identical modlist with the exact same setup, i've only removed BHS (per the !bhs guide) and then enabled SidHUD (as seen in the screenshot), but forwhatever reason on this new PC it bugs the status effect icons.
Also, the only mod that it has any conflict/overwrite interaction with is: #287 - Text Overhaul. Same as it did before when i set it up on my last PC about 2 months ago, which didn't have this Solid-Black-Square issue.
I keep getting this and I don't know what else to do.

1) Check you aren't blocked on moddb (go to https://moddb.com, if you don't have a giant red screen you are OK)
If you are blocked, wait out the timer + 40 minutes or use vpn.

Try using the Toggle Minimap keybind to see if it changes anything. I know it can hide/show some things other than Mini-map.
Try using "H" to see if that changes anything as I believe H is the keybind for toggling BHS options.
Even with BHS uninstalled. H may do something. I'm still learning about all the mdos myself and SidHUD was one I thought about trying after BHS.

Numpad enter is actually what controls the status icons. BHS controls only the healthy hud in the corner.
This is in the Disabled secito of GAMMA which I believe means this is already IN the game through other means or is causing issues or has not been updated. im not 100% accurate on the meaning of the Disabled sectin but safe to say that's why it is there. it's not "ready" in some way shape or form

Sorry man, I donβt have any experience with those mods. One thing I can say is make sure you donβt have any β in you MO2 and you can also compare the mod folder for what controls rhat between your new computer and your old computer with the fully functioning mod. Make sure the new computer has all the same mods. You could also pull the mod from moddb and go to #π€bot-commands and type. !manual to manually reinstall it.
I'm good on Mo2 β 's, tried running with it both above and below the one mod it interacts with, same outcome.
Unfortauntely, the old PC is already gone, drilled the drives and tossed it like 2 days ago >.<

I've ran into a problem where my game keeps crashing to desktop with no error message consistently in the Truck Cemetary. It literally comes out of nowhere. I have Fluid Relations, Mags Redux, Mags Buyable at Traders, "Turn this on if you stutter" enabled, and the Unjam Reload thing disabled. Not sure what's happening or if this is even exclusive to that location

!save ~ yeah you cant just shove two big mod packs together and expect things to work. You maaaaay be able to pick and choose some mods you like from EFP then add them to gamma but even then.... you will likely crash and burn.
If you want to back up your saves:
- Go inside your Anomaly folder
- Open the
appdata/folder - Backup the folder called
savedgames

you aren't the only one with the error, but an error like that is not somethign that can be easily fixed on your own. for now don't use that gun.

the error log shows a machine address stack trace which is nearly untraceable for humans - i can see that it crashed out after you shot a cat. Is this what reliably makes your game crash out?
Can't guarentee, but combat seems to be an issue. What happens was I trying to get through the area when some dudes shot at me and then I crash consistently there. I tried again, this time using the debug to go invis and I was able to get by without crashing, but then I went visible again and ran into the cats. That's when it crashed again
Oh yeah, should also note this was when I was going eastward through the Northern areas of the cemetary. When I went straight south from the Rostok/Army Warehouses, I ran into a different stalker squad but didn't crash
Ok, the cats seem to crash it too. Apparently I somehow saved again before I ran into then and when I loaded the save I Immediately crashed the second they moved

It's from Ballistics Overhaul. Have you disabled it by any chance?
I'm not familiar with any guide on how to play gamma without BO. Guess you will have to manually find mods which use its files are edit them.
it's extremely difficult since Grok's Ballistic Overhaul is a key core component of GAMMA. large parts of the gameplay overhaul revolve around it
to the point where I'd genuinely say if you don't like it, don't use this modpack

tbqh at this point, generic troubleshooting steps are all i can think of - start by reinstalling GAMMA mods (run the launcher as admin, leave options on default, click "Install/Update GAMMA"). if that doesn't work, reinstall Anomaly, if that doesn't work, delete folders and reinstall everything
you can backup your settings by backing up Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx, saves are in Anomaly/appdata/savedgames. See bot message below for saving your custom modlist

Look for 2D shader scopes compatability patch for whatever scope mod you use or disable one of the mods completely.

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

Recently noticed I'm not getting Emission or Psy-Storm Warning Siren audio. I re-enabled Give Task to Hide to see if it may be that.
A couple of questions for you:
- Do you have #π577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
- Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in
/.Grok's Modpack Installer) (version 3.8 is too old)- Do you see any β in MO2 under flags next to any mods (like the image)?

i keep gettings this CTD. I and a few other players are gettings the same problem with GAMMA + "HD ADDONS" mod
I get CTD during a shootout with the renegades during a main mission in the swamps. I think its a missing file texture with some helmets. the mission is "LAST DAWN: CLEAR THE SOUTH-EASTERN FARMSTEAD FROM RENEGADE STALKERS" but other players got this fatal error with others factions.

is there a way i can replace the sound of the vss or any integrally supressed 9x39 weapon to the sound of the honey badger??
The vss probably isn't using sub sonic ammo, that's why. supressed guns are still noisy
Their just much quieter, then a non supressed gun.
Though If you wanted to change it, you'd probably have to find its audio file..which good luck doing that

The 2nd one was the actual updated bas sound for supressed 9x39 guns
But I switched to eft wep sounds and all of them were alright until it changed the sound of the 9x39
then idk, to me they both sound fine, but my only suggestion is to figure out where the audio file is for the honey badger. Which I have no idea where that is located

Is 1hr still too long? You can make fast travel free but lowest time between travel is 1hr which...kind of goes by fast.

You can remove the limited travel mod, just disable it NOT DELETE

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to obtain or buy coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards from completing quests, purchasing stash locations from specific vendors, stalker corpses and by reading and turning in the PDAs that you can find on the** bodies of stalkers you kill**. If said PDA is locked, you'll need to go to a mechanic and pay him to unlock it.
Stash coordinates received from quests or bought from traders will only mark stashes in the regions around where you bought the stash or turned the quest in.
For example, buying a stash from, or turning in a quest to Sidorovich will only give you stash locations in Great Swamps, Meadows, Darkscape, Garbage, Dark Valley, Wild Territory, Agroprom and Yantar.

Their an anomaly thing, though there's a setting to make loot spawn in empty stashes. it's in MCM, and before you ask, idk where it is, so you'll have to look. But if you just do tasks, you'll get stashes with loot
