It's disabled because it doesn't work
I really don't wanna live with NPCs having infallible x-ray vision when a shrub completely blinds me.
I'm currently trying to tweak the durability of gear dropped from killed stalkers, however nothing I do seems to affect the condition of the outfits/armor they were wearing. meanwhile, changes on the weapons work just fine

It doesn't. All it does is take what you put in an MCM menu and apply it to your goodwill or faction relations. And all I did was bump up my goodwill with Loners,Clear Sky,and the Military.
And,just for due diligence's sake,I tested it. As expected,it had no impact.
So,to review the issue; Enemies cannot acquire me as a target. Except for Poltergeists,strangely.
Debug Mode's Incognito Mode is off. I don't have a Phantom Star on me,let alone equipped.
I can sprint straight up to someone,dressed as their enemy,and take their head off with an unsuppressed KS-23,and nobody will react. Not even the guy whose head I'm about to blow off.
And I have no idea why.

If you are about to die because of the psy health, reload a previous save.

If NPCs are ignoring you/not reacting to you, even if you shoot them:
- While in game, hit Esc on your keyboard
- Go to Mod Configuration Menu and search
Stealth - Click Default
- Click Apply
- Enable debug mode (send

- Press F7 and click on
Change Faction - Make sure that the command box for Invisibility is OFF
- Reload an even older save

Have a consistent red forest crash; running no extra mods other than what vanilla provides but with a lot of customisation like enabling warfare. Found a post that suggested disabling warfare entirely, waiting 48 hours and then re-trying entry to red forest, but still results in the same crash.
I can't even by a day of playing without crashing anymore ever since i updated and started a new game
go into your mod folder in explorer look for xr_meet.script

Quick question about the Faction Identification, is there any reason in particular why the "talkName" was disabled? (The option that shows stalkers as "Unkown" until you talk to them)

There's a mod that removes the option on MCM, that's why I asked. I'll re-add it and test it and see if anything comes up 
It looks like some stalker was supposed to be turned into a zombie at the end of the psy-storm, and somehow got caught in a loop that crashed the game.
seems a lot of issues with emissions/psystorms then cause i've crashed ALOT after them
And the new update did change a bunch of shit with how NPCs interact with emissions and psy storms
idk, i was having a lot of fun but now i can't even get by an hour without crashing and i don't feel like starting another new game if it's something with my save.

Having trouble with mags redux, seems to give me crashes when I go to traders who sell mags (mags buyable at traders option)
mod otherwise works fine. i've done several redownloads/reinstalls of the gamma files just to make sure everything is behaving.

- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

Yarp, mags are turned on as per the guide in here, followed to the letter.
I have mags, can add them to my loadout, load them, etc, but when I try to open a trader who sells mags it hangs, then CTDs
other traders seem stable though

I've had a few crashes before, but this one's happened twice in the same minute.
I've added a mod that removes the grain effect, and a mod that messes with the loot condition tables (Despite finding how to change this in game, armor only changed with this mod.)
That seems to have done it, still a harsh hang on opening traders but no CTD!

Same happened with me after starting the game without avx.
Try to run dx11-avx if you start it differently.
I also downloaded a quick fix for NPCs, they don't die during emissions it helped my crashes.

Im trying to install this mod but its for 1.5.1 is there a way to get it working still?
download the file, extract it anywhere you want, in the you'll see (first image), make a new folder called "gamedata" and copy the contents of the 3 first folder into the newly made gamedata folder, then repack it into a zip file, then you can instal it with mo2, click on the first icon on the left (image 2)

for the fdda patch you need to copy the the ''sound'' folder inside it, search for fdda in mo2 using the filter bar, rclick on mod "40 - food drugs and drinks animation", choose open in explorer, and paste what you just copied inside gamedata folder.
rename it to whatever you want

Oh I fixed that ages ago.
Since gamma no likey changing the clothing condition settings, I added a mod specifically for that, though my guess is that said mod and the game both wanted their turn on the x-ray engine, and had an oopsies.
I managed to find the solution by just replacing a script made by someone with the one in gamma (apparently the entire reason was due to the "helmets need clothing kits" mod or something)
I added like two mods, it was more or less turning off the only one that had anything to do with loot or armor since if I looted an enemy with lots of corpses around, the game took a shit trying to process which values to use for condition
Okay so let me get this, it's because of an overlapse between mods changing loot tables, correct?

You can place them anywhere on the list by clicking on one and dragging your mouse, if this doesn't work, sort your list by priority and try again
Autumn Harmony is already using Autumn Season Redux as a base
Just make sure to place it JUST BEFORE/ABOVE Particles Cinematic VFX in your load order

Happens to even the best of us 
You only need the cold one for Melting Winters (not even mandatory there, up to preference), for Autumn Harmony and any non winter pack, you need to use cfg_load grading_vanilla
And it's a one time thing (unless reinstalling GAMMA)
One last thing, never forget to delete your shader cache with the following instructions everytime you change the textures pack

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.
How do you enable warfare in gamma, just select it at beginning of a game or in the MO so all factions are hostile to each other?

search for old ammo in MO2. It should be as simple as deactivating it.
I turned on the Mags Redux mod, but having trouble finding a mag I need. Are mags for all the in game and GAMMA addedweapons included with mags redux? Or are some missing

You should have no issues unless you added additional weapons

you can turn it on mid-save, but you won't be able to turn it off mid-save
there's an experimental script for safely disabling it mid-run but there's a risk you won't be able to load it again if you remove the mags mod mid-playthrough

Running the game with mags and a few loot settings changed. Sometimes after I reload, my gun immediately fires. The way to fix this is to open up your inventory and left click, right click, and middle click. this seems to fix the issue but it is rather annoying. hope this helps somebody out.

I am using mags redux, playing on 2:3, but I have not yet seen a single mag with ammo dropping so far (except if they surrender and give me their gun)
Been playing like this for 30h
Reposting my RD9x39 GL crash. Whenever at semi-close range, or looks like Exo is being hit, maybe, I get a crash. Have new Bas, MagsRedux, and BAS patches loaded ATM, but have been having this same issue on default list as well.
Is there any way i can install HD models and make it work? cause when i tried to install it it crashed when i loaded the game, and when i changed the priority i managed to get into the menu but when i selected my latest save it loads and when it shows the message "Enter the zone" it crashes pls someone help me
I checked the referenced file in your error - looks like it's an issue with "G.A.M.M.A. ZCP 1.4 Balanced Spawns"
Reinstall steps below
- Find the mod in MO2 using the search bar
- Right click > Open in Explorer
- Delete everything inside the mod's folder
- Run installer as admin
- Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. Data"
- Click "Only install G.A.M.M.A. Add-ons

Oh ok, I expected that the ammo should be inside the mags so that you need to unload them, even if there are just 3 bullets for examples instead of finding it directly on the body.

The version of mags redux included in GAMMA does this for you as a QOL thing, it instantly unloads the mags and dumps the ammo out into inventory. If you want to have to unload shit manually, you can install the latest version of Mags Redux yourself from their GitHub

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

A Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, and any that need to be updated will be updated.
To Perform this follow these steps:
- Open your

Download G.A.M.M.A. data" - Click "
Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"

Don't know where to put this issue so here goes: I have a problem with Artefact Condition randomizing pretty severely, mainly when putting them into a container for transport but also just generally (in loading zones/ when reloading)
Can't get the Modern UI mod to function correctly. Bars are all messed up and the inventory grid doesn't flow with the icons when I scroll (as seen)
the bars can probably be fixed by changing better stats option to efp rather than gamma(or the other way round), not sure about grid though

hi, just did a reinstall (more like an update like in #💽how-to-update) and now the water in the great swamps is flickering for me. the extra mods i have on right now are npc teleport, click this if you stutter, and npcs cannot see through foliage. oh yeah i still stutter too, especially when there's a campfire on my screen. any input?

basically, you have 2 icon addons overriding the same item with their own icons, but they aren't defined with a ! to mark them as prioirty, that's why you put a ! to one of them to make them have higher priority/dltx , thus the other is ignored and the icon loads in game
it crashes with a different toolkit bc the first one is already fixed with the ! , but you probably have many other items clashing and need to make one have higher priority
During the install, even I select the clean icons in one module and not the other I still get a crash, it's making my head hurt now lol

gamma uses dots and reticles extravaganza, and the mod says to up washout to fix the dots with beefs nvgs

But i never save while this is happening, I just close the game and load the save previous to this happening

It kinda works like a disease, what you're describing is a second stage, and youre curing it by going back in time if you see it happen
If there was hud issue before that, you need to load before it, because that means that that one is the first stage

Hello, does it matter that what order do you click on the mods i want to add or take. I made some tweaks so it suits my playstyle but now when the game is almost loaded just exits the game.

yes, it does. assuming you're sorting your mods by priority, which you should, anything you want to overwrite other mods should be closer to the bottom of your list, and if you actually don't have the right order of mods, that can cause crashes

I wanted Radiation to be more immersive, there's not even a use for Geiger counters in GAMMA right now, and Radiation either kills you in seconds or is just a small nuisance instead of a constant "companion" as I think it should.

Sorta. I modified my shaders. My whole screen is black. I can see my health in the bottom left and tracers when I fire bullets but that's it.
I've fucked with every screen setting, disabled all shaders and restarted my pc and nothing.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.

heyo, i keep getting a crash that in relation to a script:74 in the stack traceback, have the file if needed. no non-gamma mods, but not "vanilla"
stutter fix, save before 10-10-22, npc's can not see thru foliage, ammo check, tooltip in corner, zcp, fluid relations, companion teleport, and new item highlight are my added mods
(214, 218, 223, 252, 257, 261, npc can't see thru foliage, stutter, and save fix)

Hey, so I'm able to get into the game and play however my performance is absolutely atrocious, I'm getting around 20 fps in the rookie village. I can play any other title just fine but this one seems to be presenting a lot of trouble. I know its a 20 year old engine but there must be a way to improve 20 fps regardless. Here are my specs:

336 mod can do miracles. Idk how tbh, It was like I crashed for 2-3 sec and somehow I was able to move my character. Then the screen got back to the game and this happened to my PDA. Then my game crashed in the normal way (funny to say this, but its stalker XD)

From my experience, some sights (ie most of the Russian red dots) just don't work as well with nvgs

yeah, red dots are not a problem even in vanilla GAMMA. The linear sights are, like the russian ones. (try the 1P76 or the OKP-7 as example)

Hey peeps, am using Autumn Redux alongside the default Gamma weather and in my SS you can see the sky is bright as fuck tho cloudy and the fire anomaly lightens up the area like a flare, is this normal?

I've installed Mag redux, following the bot instructions, but I've noticed the animation for checking ammo doesn't seem to fully work with my shotgun. My character lowers the gun a little and then "Empty" shows. From a video I saw the player fully pulled the mag out and you could see the rounds inside - does that animation work with every weapon or only certain ones?
depends, by checking mag you meant the ash12?
ash12/vssk are the only weapons in game that have animations for ammo check
the 99% of weapons don't have
they just hide/lower then text appears and gun appears

Its usually safe to update mid save, the only times it isnt is when a new mod is added that requires a new game

So wanted to iterate this here in response to my last question, if you are running on steam deck you can rename your game shortcut to S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly (exactly like this) and controller configurations for steam deck/in general should come up and are confirmed working for me

Hello all. I have a current issue with AI not seeing me at all. I never messed with the debug menu, have the standard mods on install except I have warfare with storymode due to vintar0's improved warfare mode. It started happening today after playing for a couple days. Thanks!

If NPCs are ignoring you/not reacting to you, even if you shoot them:
- While in game, hit Esc on your keyboard
- Go to Mod Configuration Menu and search
Stealth - Click Default
- Click Apply
- Enable debug mode (send

Change Faction - Make sure that the command box for Invisibility is OFF
- Reload an even older save

Looks like an npc spawned with a gun they shouldnt have. Try deleting common squads.

The error comes from the Bas_save_saver patch maybe if you disable it? Unless the save you are at had the old bas previously

Hi all! My game has recently started to crash after 4/5 minutes of gameplay and i wouldn't know why since everything has been going smoothly for me (started as loner in cordon and got to pripyat, have already a lot of hours of gameplay), and the only additional mods that i have enabled are the magazine one, mags buyable at t., and ammo check (i disabled gamma reload/unjam) for a total of 338 mods active since the beginning of my playthrough. Unfortunately an empty stack trace doesn't tell us much. You could try deleting common squads via debug to see if that fixes the issue
Try removing mags buyable at traders too. That adds a lot of extra unnecessary stuff
I'm afraid that (being the noob that i am) i don't understand what you mean by that. I will try and remove the mod you mentioned tho. Another thing I noticed is that I couldn't use the shift button press to move stuff from 1 stash to the other; furthermore in one instance i also encountered another problem whereby, right after sleeping, couldn't get any command to function, couldn't raise weapon, reload, nothing. i tried all of the above, but it doesn't seem to solve my issue. i tried loading an older save and start again from there: it seems to have the desired effect, but after an hour or so of gameplay i start to get some issues (eg. the running animations of the character holding a weapon change to another pattern, when i try to fast travel to a location the screen becomes black as if it were to work, but then it goes back to where i issued the command) which ultimately lead to me crashing back to desktop
maybe i should also mention that i already tried downloading gamma data and doing complete installation but it didn't amount to anything. Let me know if i need to post my log/modlist, thank you!

When using guns that have 3 "views" using the V key, such as LPVO variable zoom scope, laser alt view, and underbarrel Grenade Launcher, when switching thru the views, the variable zoom of the scope no longer seems to function and the scope is "stuck" on the most zoomed out view. Just curious if this happens for everyone or if its an issue I can solve. thanks.
this can be fixed by removing and reattaching the scope.

im having the problem of your health bugging out on transition, for me its between garbage>cordon. i have gamma economy disabled and TO, unlimited stashes, stutter enabled. i have a save just before the transition, at which point my health is still fine, but whenever i cross the border, my health bugs out

Should I just disable mag redux/mags buyable from traders / unjaming like all the mag based stuff or?
the log says it's a problem with magazines but idk how to fix maybe someone else knows
