I keep crashing and having low FPS on the recapture the bridge mission from the duty expansion

What can I do to have basic mutants go on about their day and bark and howl when they didn't spot me yet. Playing with a decent grass and not being able to spot 90% of mutant before they jump on me is kinda annoying. Mutant growling sounds could very well compensate for this.

I could hear boars, flesh and bloodsuckers. At least their attack speed is decent enough to react when they start making sounds after noticing you. With dog kinds and their noticing distance, as soon as they notice me they are already jumping on me. And I don't mean on close quarters. In darkscape, a group of 5 blinddogs/psudodogs should at least have given out a sound once that can be heard in 100 meters.

has anyone had the weird occurrence of your weapon continuing to fire despite not holding m1. or just randomly switching to grenades (which are unbound by default)
Classic textures wouldn't cause that
Stuck firing happens occasionally, forget why
iirc it can buffer an input
but it should not constantly do it - only other easy explanation would be wearing a Scar

Hi, all i want is to remove the "gun parts" from GAMMA.
I find it too boring to have to take care of the bolt or the trigger.
But if i just remove the "Weapon Parts Overhaul - arti", the entire game starts to crash
So whats the proper list of mods i should disable?
Oof I think gun parts might be a base thing from Anomaly. if anything you would need a separate mod that removes the entire thing and I'm not sure that exists. maybe a mod that just stops parts from degrading?

Hi all, I really need some help with a custom weapon I made
I edited w_ks23.ltx and added a new weapon section after the KABAN section, made the gun and it works in game, everything else in the UI works, but I can't seem to get the WPO UI with "STATUS:" and then the parts listing to show up in tooltip, or the "parts in tooltip" UI at the bottom of the tooltip either, I don't really know what I'm doing there and I've been trying to figure it out for a couple hours now

Anyone have problems with enabling death animations? Game CTDs on killing any stalker. Would like to get it to work if possible, not sure why it would be causing a crash
I realized i was posting in the wrong channel since i changed mods oops. Anyways im soft locked in my game due to an emission happening right after the save i made and it's crashing me 100% of the time.
In any case, I was looking for a mod that will change the way of recruiting companions, because their maximum number when recruiting is random, although I know that it depends on the rank, but sometimes you can hire two at a time and sometimes one (and the 30 kg limit is stupid, I also want to change it (AND I want to change their armor because that their survival rate is also random, they do not die from two grenades and die from two shots)
The survival rate is probably because you're recruiting "fresh" people
Hip is very tanky but it's probably because she's coded that way, I can't think of another reason
The weight stuff (which I agree it's stupid) is this mod, enable it

The whole thing about "30 kg for companions" is because in the intended GAMMA way of playing companions aren't mules

I did 1 upgrade on the backpack i'm wearing.
could probably be that, since you have a addon that touches backpack cfgs
I managed to pop some sleeping pills and sleep through the emission, it crashed but loading the auto save after the sleep, i don't crash now. 
I'll try removing the backpack mod and load the previous save to see if it still crashes? Just to see if that was the cause, or would that cause more issues removing the mod when i have the upgraded backpack on
I enabled carry weight tweak mod and gave my companion exo(later i tried giving him same faction armour as he) but his skin didn't change. I've read that DNPCV allow them to change armor but I think it's not included in gamma pack. P.S. checked again and found DNPCAV

I've had this issue before too, i ALWAYS crash during emission at north farm cordon, and i manage to push through it with constant saving and loading through it lmao
solution could be just grok finish tweaking addons, and release 1.0 and then start fixing that modlist and leave it like that for a long time without adding anything new
Happened on my first save, i would save, load, wait a few seconds, save again, crash, reload, repeat. Ect. And i manage to keep playing that save for over 60 hours.

Hey, long story short i messed with the mods and now i got 350 mods enabled and if i bring it back to default my 10h save won't load
Oh and almost forgot, it randomly crashes while playing for 5-10 mins

Yes these mods should remove your ammo counter, but keep the fire mode.
No, you will either need to find mags or spawn some in via F7 (debug menu)

what command do you use to spawn mag? I have a loaded MP-412 REX and when i enabled the redux, it doesnt show what mags or how much ammo is currently in the gun...
It's a revolver, it doesn't have mags...
go into the debug menu, then select spawn items, then ammo, and there you can find mags

Anyone know why the backpack animations just seem to be completely gone from FDDA?
I did try that but the stats/HUD mods I found didn't include an option for the firemode/ammo view
because FDDA animations like that are known to cause busy hands. it was disabled for this reason

Several people have reported that error. It is related to the golden Autumn textures I believe.
if golden autumn textures has a particles.xr file, delete it
Try doing this
no one really, the thing is that many people start adding things without understanding how the files work at basic mo2 organization, thus they end up breaking a lot of things or enabling/disabling things without checking and then they crash

post your crash, extra addons or what you disabled, the crashlog and then wait for someone to be willing to help
if no one answers after x hours, or even posting again the same issue, then it's up to the user to fix it

i would recommend using the discord search box for crashlog, you could find the same error in the chat history of whole gamma server or even in anomaly server
for example, i have this crash and in the end of the log i have this error detailed
i could copy that section or any other that looks relevant

Hey guys! I'm new to gamma and modding in general, and I don't know where to ask this. I have followed the youtube instal tutorial step by step, but the installation app "Gork's Automated Modular Modpack for Anomaly Instaler has been stuck at ''Installing Modpack-Specific Modifications" for almost 5 hours now. It says: "Copying G.A.M.M.A. /modpack_addons/* to ../mods/ , installer can hang but continues working." I was patient for the last 3 hours but it's been almost 5 hours now and I'm getting worried that I did something wrong

If u wanna free up some space on tje drive open it and search for "size:gigantic" it will bring up all files that are more than 1GB and delete those that u don't need (don't delete anything that u don't know what it is)

Made the mistake of turning on mags redux, now I can't turn it off, when I do my saves won't load

- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

I have ALife population set to 2 on both mutants and Stalkers, disabled zombie spawns in ZCP, even raised the population settings of ZCP too and I barely encounter any stalkers, if anyone knows how to help I'd really appreciate it.

Started a new game or waited a day or two in game after making those changes?
The game was started two days ago, played then and now, waited multiple days and I haven't run into anything more than a few scripted mutants and zombies
Yantar is deserted save for the important NPC's, army warehouses looked dead and empty when I walked in there first too
I have not been shot at by a single bandit or renegade AT ALL
Which makes no god damn sense to me since I went to garbage, great swamps, darkscape and dark valley
Only thing I did mess with was my ZCP settings to try and spice things up by enabling disabled mutants and such
Idk what to do at this point, my duty save which I started a couple months ago is still doing fine but my new loner save is so barren it's depressing
That is weird ya. It sounds like you have less spawns than the vanilla setup now.
ZCP's only setting that seems to require a new game for it to change is the random loot that appears in locations, anything else can be changed on the go

Edit: Deleting the file "\gamedata\textures\act\newfreedom\sas_olive_loadout_a_col — копия.thm" fixes the crash.
I did some digging and "sas_olive_loadout_a_bump.dds" don't have corresponding .thm file like other variants do.
I managed to fix the error by duplicating "sas_olive_loadout_b_bump.thm" and renaming it to the missing "sas_olive_loadout_a_bump.thm" (b and c .thm files are identical so I guess a should be too), also deleting the problematic .thm file.
Is there anyway I can fix the issue of not being able leave Cordon to go to Garbage? accidentally walked back into cordon fighting a boar and now I'm stuck

Not been to red forest yet. And the mods I disabled in Gamma were the bounty ones, storyline-expansion ones, Dux's models, and a couple of other smaller ones that conflicted in some way.

Place HD Models mod just above the Dux's Models. Disable Dux's.
Disable everything that conflicts with HD Models besides GAMMA Economy
From memory that fixed the issues I had with it.

Whenever you spawn dazhbog (his spawn command is red_greh_tech)
If your game shits itself, it's because his OGF doesn't exist in HD models
No clue about fixing issues with Dahzbog as I've not encountered issues with him.

- Go to your Anomaly folder
- Paste these three folders (check pic)
- Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

It includes both the icons and portraits I guess but some things are broke. Like there's heaps of blue portraits in the selection screen.

It's outdated and I noticed no difference when I removed it from my pack
It used to hold my game together thanks to housing the OGF file for dazhbog but since I just slapped that into HD models instead, my game works again
(I believe KVMA did a fuckton of changes for certain factions, mercenaries had a boatload of new camos and SIN also had a much nicer camo)
Standard 1.5.1 HD models would have SIN models have purple, orange and black camo, which was ridiculous
KVMA gave them this much nicer orange and slightly brighter orange camo which fit them more
But now they have a forest camo which is a straight upgrade
LOL after installing the cr3pis patch most of my armours are fucked

I think i figured out my crash on the HD models when i shoot NPCs, the old instructions tell you to reinstall gboobs and enable HD model patch, this caused it and reverting to unchanged gboobs seems to work

drag the bullets into their magazine, once done, right click on the magazine, click add to loadout, and you can now reload that magazine as normal. Different armor sets have different limits for the amount of magazines you can add to a loadout. The sunrise stalker suit can only have up to 2 medium sized magazines in loadout (assault rifles, snipers, etc.)

Because I had the TEMERITY to activate some optional mods,I'm being forced to ask here about a vanilla issue,which makes about as much sense as drilling a hole in your skull for treating a dislocated hip.
Binoculars do not have a defined toolkit (Like a light Armour Kit) for modification. Attempting to mouse over the relevant UI element in the workbench UI prompts an immediate crash to desktop.
I know this issue is vanilla (Relative to Gamma),because you can run into this issue in Anomaly with exactly one mod; Upgradeable Backpacks,as the issue is identical.
To reiterate; This is an issue with the vanilla Gamma load order. But because I activated optional mods that Gamma came packaged with,I'm not allowed to bring this up in the channel dedicated to vanilla issues.

@fervent tiger @jagged kiln Here. You can update it mid save. After installing it, make sure to place it directly next to the old mags redux and then deactivate the old one. You need to install the top 3 patches in the installer. https://github.com/RAX-Anomaly/MagsRedux
You also need to replace the file located in the updated mags redux at \GAMMA\mods\Anomaly Magazines Redux\gamedata\configs\items\settings with this one. This one has the GAMMA Economy balance changes in them (assuming you want them)

fyi, there is no magical traceback to solve issues that are not known issues, the general fix is to full install and revert to the standard (vanilla) modlist, because thats all we can attempt to make bug free. If you add random mods then there is no way we can offer that level support (which you take for granted) anymore
THAT being said, can you describe in any more detail how you arrived at this crash? I can select binoculars in workbench ui just fine with vanilla mods.

Well you probably shouldn't be activating random mods, that's a recipe for crashes. Especially if you don't even know what they do. You should probably reset your modlist to default
Bottom right corner,the UI element that tells you what toolkit you need to actually apply upgrades. The space is blank with a red zero,and attempting to mouse over it to see what you need prompts an instant CtD.

As a user,I believe the root issue is that the game doesn't know what to do if there isn't a defined toolkit (Separate from the Novice/Advanced/Expert Tools or the upgrade kit you're trying to apply to begin with) for carrying out the upgrade process,so the game fails safe and crashes to desktop to prevent save data corruption.

As I said; I ran into the issue in Anomaly with barely any mods. The root of the problem is that you need to define a tool/repair kit for DIY upgrades.

I noticed I had to press V when using my Binocs to properly focus,otherwise the view's pretty weird. Sorta-kinda double vision and chromatic aberration. Without upgrades.

I think I'll live with the Steyr AUG Abomination's mags being borked.
I mean leaving aside the atrocious look, I'ts an all right smg. (for 9 mm).
It's not an SMG. It's a full service rifle that got massacred by some idiot gunsmith! If you want an SMG,you make a goddamned SMG or PDW! You don't make a pidgin abomination with some lazy,half-assed retrofit hackjob!
I feel that is right and wrong in some aspects. it's like the sawed off shotguns. In some point there where beautiful long weapons
The issue is that when you chop down a shotgun's barrel and buttstock,you're not exactly harming its functionality if you stick with using shot. In fact,it's an objective upgrade if you plan on using in in confined spaces. You ultimately don't change the weapon's identity and role. It retains its specialization.
But the Steyr AUG is a bullpup service rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO. Chopping it down and rechambering it to 9mm Para,you completely change the weapon's identity,performance,and role. And because it's just a hackjob retrofit,it'll never be able to stand up to a purpose-built 9mm Para SMG or PDW.

Olympic Arms is another prime example of idiot gunsmiths. They took an AR-15 (Or was it an M4?),yanked the buttstock,moved the gas system up into the upper receiver,and shortened the barrel. All to make a machine pistol that sidestepped the American Assault Pistol ban.
And it's still chambered in 5.56mm NATO.

Machine pistols and SMGs are adjacent. They both put pistol carts downrange in a hurry,accuracy optional. Ultimately,they do the same thing. It gets stupid when you convert a service rifle into a pistol cart SMG or a rifle cart machine pistol,to use the Steyr and OA examples.

I wish. the actual vanilla reload animation is 1 bullet at a time, even if it doesn't have a scope on. In the other hand, the Mosin has a beautifull stripper clip reload.

i installed expedition a little bit ago and when i tried to go back to gamma i lost the ability to use reshade. I have 342 mods installed in gamma currently. i would like to revert my stalker anomaly and gamma to their original 336 mods.
keep in mind that the work you are seeing is the countlees hours of a modding team and a lot of mods from diferent authors. Stalker 2 will be a new game, not close to Anomaly at all. just another game to the saga

You're approaching the problem from the wrong end.
Take every armour piece you find. Pick up every piece of junk.
Dismantle all apparel you don't plan on wearing. If an item has a gear icon on it,dismantle it.
If it also has a hammer and wrench icon,check what it's used to craft before dismantling it. You can do this if you have tools on hand.
And of course... Make it your FIRST PRIORITY after basic survival to get your mitts on Basic and Advanced Tools!
Gamma takes Anomaly's survivalist elements,and makes them the star of the show.

I try it and the only advice I can provide is Start a new save
enabling HD Models in an already existing save will crash the game. Also reverting the process will need a new save if you don't have one before you installed HD Models

Where are the files to edit the amount of money average stalkers have? I know the amount of money they carry is based on their rank but I would like to edit some of these values.
If ur considering hd definitely look in that channel linked above, i wanted to use hd models and tried em at first but while they may look slightly softer, the difference is negligible compared to GAMMA as is and you lose tons of performance at hubs or with lots of enemies 😦
once i saw how completely unnoticeble the 2 options were visually i realized ive got the good looking ones with better performance already 😛
