After a whole playtrough on DX8(non avx) i wanted to see how is performace on DX9 but it crashes when trying DX9(non avx)
The why i wanted to change is because GPU and CPU never reach over 60% use. And RivaTunner was displaying that the API is DX9 while i was running the game on DX8 mode. So i want to see if something is going on there.

You mean how to do the task? you'll need RF Receiver and tune in to 62Mhz, then, happy hunting. Youll hear beeping sound from RF receiver when you get close, i believe youll need to pick up target's PDA when you found their bodies
Funny. On DX10 it stucks on Core0, on DX8 it does not do that.

If it was that easy it would already have been fixed, people here are modders not software engineers, that's just how the game works, and A10 processors are REALLY bad, they lose on IPC to 3rd gen intel core's.

There's a help message displaying that disabling Core0 solves a performance issue.
Trying out DX10 and DX11 i see what's happening there. Also that's why i said that it needs to be fixed on the engine.

It was my upgrade from a pentium laptop that was rated at 15W, HDD, 4GB RAM DDR3, iGPU, 1FPS on FurMark.
This one i'm running i got it from a company renewing their PC's, got it for 50$ USD, 8GB of RAM. HDD died 3 months in(glad i put an SSD as C drive) and it gets 4FPS on fur mark. xD

Yeah, i'm not really trying to be funny, i used a pentium for quite some time, now i have a xeon which in price for performance is the best, you can get one on ali for like 10$ and it has 85% the performance of an Ryzen 5 3600x, and it consumes around 85w LMAO, the A10's have extremely low efficiency, and very low IPC, which is why your CPU0 Struggles.
There are people that run this game on 150+ fps with only the CPU0, so as long as it scales linearly it's not really an issue worth trying to solve.

Try Blindside's Knife Animations, if you don't like it then disable GAMMA Close Quarter Combat along with Blindsides Knife Animations.

Try reinstalling it, then close your MO2 and Anomaly, and then open MO2 and launch the game, if it doesn't work then disable GAMMA CQB

there is a addon? inside minimodpack dltx that adds them, keep in mind that it isnt' any 'new' animations, just reuses animations from others items and nothing lese

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement
There is a reason these are disabled.

Ok I posted a problem that I couldn't get all craft stuff. Was told something was altering craft.ltx . Turns out it was the fillable canteens mod I personally added. Problem is if I turn it off, the game crashes because there's false assets in my saved game namely the empty canteens. Anyway to remove that and save my current save?

is it possible to use HD Models with gamma? im aware this question has been asked before but the existing tutorial that exists states that you need to disable the other mods like DIX's stalkers and i kinda wanna know if you can use both
actually at one point i did install HD models on my own and turned it on (without disabling anything) and it seemingly worked, but i wanted to ask the experts here if its truly possible and wont break down the line

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

It only shows the mag info on backpacks if they're in your inventory, and it doesn't do anything for the starter pack.

Hi, I dont know if it was supposed to be like that, but in my game(which doesn't have Gamma economy and it's bas injection activated, but it do has Trader Overhaul), after I deliver the TOZ-194 and the 20 12x70 to Hip, it completes the mission but she doesn't give me another mission even though she talks about earning some snork hands as far as I remember. Is that supposed to be like that and there's no more mission of Hip (I have read somewhere that she can be your companion if you complete her questline) or is it just a bug? What would I have to do in order to continue his questline or that she would be my companion? Pls Help :)

And this isn't a bug, just a doubt, don't tell me how but is there a way I can "do the exact thing Strelok did?", I mean, can I walk through the brain scorcher alive with the correct equipment and talk with the "wish granter" or do something according to lore there? I ask this because I don't want to struggle a lot of hours to earn the best equipment to find nothing there or that it just instakill you independently of what you're wearing. Thanks
Getting through the Brain Scorcher is more of "Sprint" but yes, you can get through the brain scorcher. I don't think the wish granter is there though
What do you mean about "sprint"? And if there's nothing about the wish granter, is there something there that (don't say what it is there but yes or no) is worthwhile the effort to earn the equipment?
And I'm no talking about if there is loot or not, I mean if there is something, someone or whatever that I can talk with, interact or that gives meaning to the lore

The Brain Scorcher is a major quest event in the anomaly experience. Without spoiling the surprise, I would recommend you enter the lab with low encumbrance and a high Endurance skill. You will leave with a lot of loot, provided you enter well prepared. There are no story NPCs in the Brain Scorcher lab
There comes a time in that storyline where you have an option to be patient. I recommend being patient

You need to wait to get the calibrated psy-helmet. The noncalibrated one works just fine for the part one of the mission, which is the Nerve Wrecker, but if you take the noncalibrated one into Brain Scorcher, you get screwed
You find out that the helmet you get only will protect you for so long, so you need to make a madcap dash to find the switch to shut it off. The calibrated one gives you about 6 minutes before you die. I don't know how long the noncalibrated one gives you, but it's significantly less

I just enabled warfare and it worked just fine but that's just my own experience.
yeah but apparently the stalker spawn is outrageous high in each area.

There are adjustments in the options for that along with a drop down at the top for fast/slow which is defaulted to fast.

There isn't really much that can be done for warfare. It works or it doesn't. If it does, you can play with the settings to dial it to what you want.

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support and #old-bugs, in these two channels the support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla and are also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I'm not sure if the warfare fix mod in GAMMA is even the most recent
This feature is buggy, have bad performance and is known to have problems

the only way to know is to test it yourself
Setting respawn rates and such lower can help with the stability of warfare.

Don't know about this but I know for a fact that Loners and Mercs have a "truce" or stuff like that when you shut down Miracle Machine or Brain Scorcer

It's probably MO2 doing its thing and nothing
If the game works, it means it isn't a real problem
Those mods are probably still in the mod list as well but are "optional"/disabled for a reason
Error checking in MO and various other programs can be wildly sensitive. But it has to be. That is how the devs get details when stuff breaks.
So related to custom mods. Is there anything to make the mouse movement fell less like moving through Jello?
Turning off vsync didn't help. My understanding is that the mouse cursor and gun aim are the same in the Stalker engine. So that causes some of it.

I usually just put the mouse sensitivity higher, because the default one is very low
It isn't a "problem" per say. But having come from a long line of FPS games. It is very noticeable.
It almost feels like mouse acceleration is on but only inside the game.
I'm spoiled due to BL3 and Destiny 2 having such good gunplay.

Mouse movement in GAMMA has felt weirdly sluggish to me too recently 
I set low latency mode to on in my Nvidia settings and it helped a bit
Oh I wasn't saying recently. It has been like this for me even in the vanilla stalker days.
For vanilla it's cam_inert in the console
should be around 0 in GAMMA already but worth it to check

hey im back, wondering if anybody knows exactly what "G.A.M.M.A. keybinds fixes" mod does, if it could be disabled without breaking stuff, its conflicting with the bullet time mod i saw if the upcoming additions to gamma. the mods overwrite each others keybinds, making unjaming weapons impossible or making bullet time impossible depending on which gets priority
or if it would happen to be simple to add the bullet time keybind into the gamma fixes one
update: actually pretty easy to fix myself, just open both mods with right clicking on them in mod organizer and clicking "open in explorer" then locate gamedata->configs->ui->ui-keybindings.xml and open in notepad, copy/paste bullet time bind to the gamma keybinds mod. then place bullet time above the gamma fixes in mod organizer so edited gamma keybinds mod takes priority

Hello. i got some issues with the Mags redux mod. Cant load any mags in my Gun , its like he unjamed it everytime i press R.

Trying to fix a reputation issue.
I've followed the first suggestion of using Debug > F7 > 0 and inserting the command line, but it doesn't seem to actually do anything unfortunately.
I'm now trying to use the second method, which is "Reputation_edit" , but I'm struggling to get it working. Hell I'm not even sure where to start with putting the files, or what "MCM" is that it requires.

i've installed Eden's repack "Melting winter" but the HUd seems to bugged...the back of the sliders are missing in the option and in-game hud elemets are all over the place...
I really did install it properly, even tried to restore vanilla hud as explained in the readme, now the hud is in place but some parts are missing (like rad bar)

So- I got the unpacker, compressor, mod editor for easier values- I wanted to add a firearm into the game; but I am having issues with a particular option of upgrade- similiar to the SKS (I used it as reference material) to make the upgrade change the barrel type. I am trying to do two mods = 1, add a new weapon, and 2, adjust sks so the barrel upgrade to new caliber isn't dogshit (+6dmg for a brand new double priced caliber, when the SVD and other variants using that type of ammo, does 80-85, while the sks runs at... 45 dmg. A whopping 35-40 dmg diff (Almost double)).
Besides that, I wanted a tactical package that makes it into a brand new weapon; because the SKS doesn't have a optic rail variant (It is only on PU scopes).

@worn oriole I got you, I figured it had something to do with my permission/roles. I figured out how to get make the upgrade kits reversing what Grok has written, but I haven't figured out some of the references I think it's called. Besides that I don't know what properties besides prop damage that changes damage- but under the guise of the f/2nd/bottom 3rd set upgrade kit, that modifies the sks barrel to 7.62x54 it doesn't denote a change to damage (in the game .itx files), but ingame you can see it's 6dmg diff. Testing it against enemies (I thought it was a typo or something, why would you spend 7k-13k for a barrel upgrade, for measly 6dmg + upgrade, and double/triple your bullet costs- oh, and make the ammo super fucking rare too while you're at it, until you have rep 5 supplier).

Since this morning, after I did the full install with all the new fixes and whatnot, I pick up a PDA that belonged to a stalker I shot/found dead and instead of showing a few clickable entries usually involving a stash location and some messages, it acts as if I put on a standard level 1 PDA
And so far I have no idea how to fix that.

my backpack is completely and utterly fucked
now when I pull it out, it plays the animation, but then it dissapears and the inventory doesn't show, effectively locking me until I quit because when I load the save, it crashes
I'm mentioning it here because my modlist while didn't add some extra stuff, it disables some things like voiced actor

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

You don't lose loose bullets. The way mags works is that it overrides the ammo in the gun with the ammo in the mag but it had to check the gun first and then unload it if there's ammo inside. If you're watching it in the inventory then it'll unload the ammo from the gun back in your inventory. You have to wait a second for the mag to register if you have loose ammo in your Inventory thst matches the gun you're reloading
But if you open your inventory before it does the reloading animation, the bullets dissapear. I should probably make a post about it on their github. Unless its a known issue
It's very known. It has to do with the way the script works. It's that or make mags completely unreliable

My suggestion is download open backpack and use the version that doesn't rely on fdda. Then you have a portable space you can stash your ammo on the go
and I have those enabled before going to Red Forest

It's not a great solution but it keeps your inventory free of ammo and makes it reload from mags better

I do start to notice that I have "busy hands" the moment my guns do their sprinting animation

Yestarday I finished empowering all my artefact, and had a heart of oasis at 99% in my stash ( fully empowered) now i took it out of the stash and it reverted to 19%
reloaded the save, it shows as 100% and now it dropped too 25%
is there anything i can do about it, im ironman doing invictus i cant just give it to me.

Installing Anomaly HD and THAP compatibility patch disables blackjack for all traders (prly cuz it replaces them?). Anybody have seen this before?

I just got the same issue when I tried reinstalling. As far as I can tell the mod just doesn't work which is a shame. Hopefully someone has a solution though
Don't use the THAP patch inside HD models, it's outdated
THAP should no longer conflict with anything, since it moved to DLTX

'ight so, slight issue, I got to Pripyat Outskirts and got the Last Dawn: Find The Rogue Scout Unit mission active, and the guy does exist... but he's not exactly on the mark, and still alive, so I'm not sure if something broke there. When I talk with him, the only option I get is "See you"

obviously, hd models will affect your fps if you have a low-mid gpu
they aren't exactly very 'optimized'
for thap, i doubt it hurts performance

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

So trying out Anomaly, it runs so smoothly and has so much greenery compared to GAMMA, what could I remove from the GAMMA modlist to bring back the greenery and the fps?

Was mainly testing Anomaly to see if an old game was really running so poorly on my PC at 1440p, kinda shocked me at first.

Bas is #76 in MO2. You want to disable that and the patch. Load order is the order in which your mods load. In MO2, lower on the list means higher priority when loading

My problem is not really FPS, it's more that, my PC just trashes itself, on FPS I get downs every now and then but it also happen with regular anomaly but it rarely crashed my whole PC
if you have an older pc you might just be at the limit of what it can do. stalker is old and poorly optimized
adding a bunch of scripts on top of that doesnt help
Anyone know why when I am ADS and use "Freezoom", when I stop zooming it makes it look like my HUD FOV is at like 85? If I stop ADS and then do it again it's back to normal until I freezoom while ADS again...
