ive just installed Gamma and started my very first bandit playthrough, ive just arrived at the abandoned farmstead and the xenotech there is running around like a main character killing everyone and just refuses to die even after multiple shotgun blasts to the dome and chest
there anything to be done about that or should i just avoid that location entirely lol

i think so... i guess it matters that my recently finished playthrough was just regular vanilla anomaly with only slight addons

This is futile. Armor in this game means if you don't pass the BR penetration check, you deal like no damage. It's much more different than other games.

Because they're there from vanilla. Removing the weapons would break AI, I think.
The mounted PKMs are also their own NPCs. Their shots aren't accounted for at all in GBOOBS. Hence their massive damage.

The game will work flawlessly with the modpack out the gate, you can ignore the update for single mods. Wether or not there is an advantage to updating them someone else should be able to tell you

Okay, so I randomly take damage. And I do mean randomly. All my hunger/thirst/sleep/radiation is topped off and healthy, but every now and then I just take a chunk of damage for no reason.
Is there a mechanic I'm missing?

No, but I turned off damage from sprinting on injured legs.
And it's not even my legs.
It's one of my arms.
I'd also used a medkit to temp-heal my arm to full condition.
But it started off about three quarters healed, with the temp health filling the rest of the bar.
Now it's about at 1/3rd health, and my other limbs have taken minor damage.
And the health bar/silhouette thing has dropped below the 'head' in the outline.

yea i have almost the exact same specs except i have a i7 with 2 cores and 4 threads if you're aiming for 30fps i would say put pretty much all the graphics setting to the lowest (except for the render distance settings) and put it at 1280X720 resolution if your aiming for 60fps set it to 800X600 resolution

let's say they both punch through armor
how much damage does either hit for ? It's hard to believe a slug does 6 times the damage
Saiga are a bit different because they use buckshots as a basis for damage
The easiest is shoot and then open console.
You'll see all the stats
Shotguns usually have 0.8 damage
Rifles are lower for sure
Slugs have 1.6 k_hit I think, so it's like 0.8 x 1.6

is anyone else experiencing wiggly arms when aiming (most times at someone)? Randomly started today (affects all guns) sometimes when i aim he just unsights and resights continually, its not triggering the wall animation, he just stops aiming, checked mouse as well, not it (fixed, usb port was damaged i guess)

The overall condition is cleanliness and is pretty easy to repair, you can find guns that are in awful cleanliness but there's 1 or 2 parts you can take off and keep

bullet disassembly consumes disassembly items but less than other things, you need a multitool or grooming kit to actually disassemble ammo
you can craft that ammo, but some guns and items in the debug are not obtainable on a normal gamma playthrough

only from disassembly, you can buy ammo types with the same parts and disassemble those to craft the ammo you need
but its better to get enough goodwill with a faction that has the ammo and buy it from them

managed to find SR-2M Veresk (modernized) and that thing eats ammo and its quite expensive to craft it taking 75 powder :S

Which tools do I exactly need to disassemble weapons? I thought swiss knife wouldk work on pistols?
for dissassembly you need multitool
need multitool to disassemble weapons
you can also remove everything besides the barrel without requiring any other items, through field stripping
make sure to always carry a sharpening stone with you and not let the multitool go below 10% its more expensive to buy new multitool than just keep repairing it

If armor gets below 50%, can it no longer be repaired? I found a nice helmet but it's basically busted, and the repair kit for it says that I can't be used on anything beneath 50%

early on the progress is mainly through getting rep and stashes locations
what you get from a raid usually covers what you spent to prepare it. Only stashes will make you "rich and powerful" if you are lucky enough (since you don't take risks to loot them)
atleast in hard survivalist
it's only later on when you have good gear and good guns that you can really start making money, and that's usually when you'll need AP ammo, exo batteries etc to not get eaten alive by monolithans
or gather enough money to craft the heavy armor repair kit before you get the expert tools
the progression is the next level shit compared to other stalker games

They can spawn in just about any stash, I would prioritize green ones because they have a guaranteed chance of having a toolkit of some kind

@pale cloak field strip I think can be used on field, like it says.. if you find a gun that has better condition firing mechanism for example.. you field strip your gun's mechanism out and drag n drop the better condition in.

Yup money is always tight for me so far in the game which is why I haven't been buying them but I want to break the cycle of having to pay to buy health kit. I'm now able to make my own ammo and it's helping me save a lot of money

Now i've gotten an annon message that suggests there is a package in the Northeast of Great swamp that can be found using 106MHZ on the RF receiver. But upon hunting around I can't seem to find the area so I just want to ask. Does the package/stash spawn in stashes that are already on the map or is there a new custom spot where it can spawn separate from the normal stash spots?
I'm getting beeping suggesting its near but can't narrow it down

I got my first exo and tried it on i made sure to put battery in it so it had charge but the button for exo doesnt seem to do anything
