Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

if they where enabled before in the save you are trying to load, thats probably why its crashing now without them, for some mods you cant remove them in a running save or you crash on load

So you want the NPCs to not see you through foliage anymore? Well, you're in luck.
They don't see you through bushes already.
There are now THREE ways to further circumvent the issue:

• You can learn how to properly position yourself, how to flank enemies or retreat so they lose track of you. Fight enemies dynamically and outsmart the AI, don't sit in a bush or walk into one thinking they will forget you. Get better at the game. Enemies react to to sound and hear bushes rustling. Avoid that.
• Download and enable this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/152dltx-smaller-bushes to, per se, level the playing field, making some locations feel incredibly empty, whilst keeping bushes about knee high.

I have a problem i cant seem to fix tho; sometimes / it happens more often now my game crashes when I try to travel between zones...

I did the following things trying to fix it:

• I reinstalled

Ah, I've had the same problem for some time now (also GOG) and the support here has proved useless so far. Reinstalling everything doesn't seem to do much. It's so inconsistent I'm baffled every time it happens. Sometimes, it'll work in the morning and refuse to launch in the evening.

AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First close the GAMMA launcher.
2. Go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the following command:

git config --global --add safe.directory '*' and press Enter.

4. Now close git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

If this does not work, delete the individual folder(s) mentioned in your black window of the GAMMA launcher (see image) and run another update in the launcher ⠀

Assuming you are on the latest version of GAMMA, try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps with stutters or microfreezes:

1. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
2. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
3. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
4. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
5. Try using Meatchunk's prefetcher for G.A.M.M.A (needs 12Gb of Free RAM), in the Alternative Addons & Patches category (only works on vanilla GAMMA, may break with custom mods, recommend having a total of 32GB RAM)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm
8. In game, go to Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collector and increase this bit by bit until microstutters/freezes stop. Default value is 300, people seem to find that 750-800 is the sweet spot, this will depend on your hardware

Killing NPCs, mostly important ones (medics, merchants, technicians) can cause your game to crash. In that case, either leave game crashing NPCs alone, or keep killing them until the game stops crashing.

Hey guys, Happy new year

I believe I have all the mods in mod organizer, but profile only has 499 mods enabled. I somehow got to enable 554 mods, which were all except bottom three categories. But still I can not launch, it crashesimmediately without error log or anything. I've tried to update from GAMMA launcher multiple times, but still it's the same.

So for first instalation I didn't have antivirus totally disabled, because I thought just exception was enough. Now for updates I have disabled. Do I have to permanently disable to be able to just play?
Also I have downloaded "downloads12-03.7z" so can I use this anyhow. Installation guide just mentiones to dump those into GAMMA folder but doesnt mention where, also all of the files inside are compressed winrar or 7z.

i think i forgot to mention that i did set_weather clear or something like that which overid my basic light settings, so thatmight have been my issue, though the game does still look slighty weird

Hello, I recently downloaded KVMA hd models but I was wondering if there is a way to get HD icons back. One of the mods KVMA said to disable is Fixed vanilla models and textures so im guessing this is why there arent hd textures for several icons now. Do I need to install maids icons?

Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

Last update has solved everything, thank you guys. It runs now, mild FPS drops however with some shader problems like PDA is black and some scopes are black, I guess I will delete shader cache manually and see, or change DX11 to something else and then rerun.

• Disable the mod ilrathCXV's Meat Spoiling Timer in Tooltips
• Find the mod 349- Hideout Furniture Expansion - Maid & HarukaSai in MO2
• Right click -> Reinstall, make sure "Optional - Meat Spoiling Addon" is off
• Click "Install", then choose "Replace" when asked

1. Collapse the categories in MO2, by sorting mods by Priority and close the categories by using the arrows on the left side (first picture for reference below).
2. Screenshot your MO2 by using Shift + Win + S.
   Do not crop too much, your MO2 screenshot should look like the second picture below. ⠀ ⠀

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

4. Wait for the install to end.

The download was about 86 GB. Do I need to Install/Update through the launcher again? I assumed it was a one click install through GOG
