dude you are spawning it(the gun in the error message) from the debug menu, some weapons in the debug menu crash your game on spawning them or equipping them

  1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
  2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs
  3. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

i did x16 a few days ago, now wanted to do brainscorcher, but calibrated psy helmet doesnt work, now did the doctor quest went to barkeep and did the border protection mission in army warhouses, x16 is not available as a quest and the helmet doesnt work either, cant calibrate it either

  1. Make sure you have the latest GAMMA launcher (currently, v6.7.0.0)

If you don't have the latest launcher, use !v6 in #πŸ€–bot-commands and follow instructions.

  1. Temporarily disable your antivirus if you have Avast, AVG, Norton or Malwarebytes
  2. Close Mod Organizer 2
  3. Open the GAMMA Launcher
  4. (optional) Disable "force git download" and "force zip extraction". This will make it go quicker.
  5. Click "Install / Update" and wait for it to finish completely.
  6. Re-open Mod Organizer 2.

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

the core issue is, you obviously can't search up which mod normally contains those files (and therefore figure out which mod you need to reinstall), because you definitionally don't have those files

so we keep doing this. i've seen people who needed to install like 20+ mods. your other option is running another install/update attempt (keeping all options on default)

It's causing trouble, and I've read, that a while back it was one of the GAMMA Disabled ones. Now it's always enabled by default (so you can also see in modlist.txt, where it's set to be enabled. Hello, sorry if this is wrong section, but I have a problem with a specific scope in gamma - shak-12 with SUP pack upgrade. Only this scope is broken. Normal specter DR and all additional scopes work with shak-12. If someone experienced that and have a solution, I will be very thankful. Clean installation with all mod settings on default.

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

  1. Download the mod manually from this link
  2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
  3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

  1. Wait for the install to end.

  2. Close Mod Organizer 2
  3. Open the GAMMA Launcher
  4. (optional) Disable "force git download" and "force zip extraction". This will make it go quicker.
  5. Click "Install / Update" and wait for it to finish completely.
  6. Re-open Mod Organizer 2.

Just ignore it.

Critical Error on top of certain tasks was done on purpose to prevent autofailing once accepted through the PDA Taskboard.
It can also appear on tasks that require you to go into maps you can't access yet.

HEX code is just an easter egg, something similar to the "Kill Strelok" PDA.

Hi there
I'm facing the issue of the game being laggy when there are sources of light in the view (campfire or toxic anomaly).
Changing low latency mode to Ultra in Nvidia CP didn't change anything.
I tried changing some video settings like turning off volumetric lights etc, also didn't help.
The game overall runs smoothly.
Any other fix?
I don't remember having this issue when I used to play gamma, efp or basic anomaly around 2 years ago on the same pc

  1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
  2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #πŸ€–bot-commands )
  3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
  4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
  5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
  6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
  7. Consider looking at #β•°βš‘fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

  2. Close Mod Organizer 2
  3. Open the GAMMA Launcher

  6. Re-open Mod Organizer 2.

Method 1: Reinstall Atmospherics without the heavy fog option.

  1. Find the mod 290- Atmospherics Shaders Weathers and Reshade Latest - Hippobot. Right click and choose "Reinstall"
  2. Pick the following options:
  • 00 - [REQUIRED] Sky Textures
  • 01 - [REQUIRED] Atmospherics
  • 09 - OPTIONAL Extra Weather Cycle
  • 12 - OPTIONAL Improved Skybox fog blending
  1. Click "OK", and choose "Replace" when prompted
    Method 2: Use the "Less Dense Fog" addon #1355286570952950032 message

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

  1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
  2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs
  3. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.
