3. Close Mod Organizer 2
4. Open the GAMMA Launcher
5. (optional) Disable "force git download" and "force zip extraction". This will make it go quicker.
6. Click "Install / Update" and wait for it to finish completely.
7. Re-open Mod Organizer 2.

I ran out of ideas how to help my friend with GAMMA installation. Here's out current situation:
-Norton - disabled
-Windows Defense - checked, disabled
-Folders marked correctly
-Unpack with 7z
-Installation process step by step correctly (both tried without and with downloadmm-dd.7z)
-Luncher started as admin
Despite many updated/install tries still 546 mods and won't go higher. DX11, launcher 6.7.0.0. Any more ideas what to try/do?

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided.
2. Download the mod file(s). DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

• Check MD5

Hello can anyone help me. i tried to install Gamma about 10 times. i follow always the instructions step by step and believe me i dont miss or skip any step. i download without my norton beeing actice. shut down firewall and protection. everything works mostly fine until the gamma launcher. it is v 6.7.0.0. when i press the install update button i end with about 388 mods after a couple of second times 488 but about 10 times later its 545 but never 548. i´m done and dont know what to do anymore. i tried realy hard to get the game running. i did it abut 4 times but this time nothing goes as it should. Any ideas would be great. Thank you

Hello! Recently got into stalker GAMMA and loving it ty to Grok/and everyone else. 20-30 hours in (base GAMMA no other mods) and it seems like my save might be corrupted? Totally fine making a new save, just don't want to do it if the outcome will be the same.

I redo everything with everything turned off and ended up with 395 mods active. When i first pressed the " first Install " a error accured omodframework.dll i skiped it and now its 395 mods. Moddb Status up-to-date Gamma Addon Status: update available. in mo2 there are a lots of these kinds of error messages [2025-09-04 22:25:45.175 W] 'D:/Gamma/dlls/libbsarch.dll': file is blocked (Internet (3)) seems something is blocked but why. there is nothing more to turn off.

You could uninstall by deleting all the files and starting over from your downloads....but my experience is that this game will crash from time to time. Sometimes for no apparent reason over and over. I recently had an enemy that no matter how I killed would crash my game. Eventually it worked, and I continued on.

I need help with fps issues in gamma. I have 12gb 3080 and intel 12400 cpu. From what nvidia overlay says, it uses up to 75% gpu and cpu 19%. I can tell the gpu isn't trying it's best cause it's not heating up like any other game would have it do. I would like some help. Not looking for 120fps just stable 90fps atleast. Goes from 75 to 84 in Rookie village. I have done all of these so far with no success:

• Resized bar already enabled
• cpu affinity unchecked on cpu 0
• meatchunker and prefetch sound on
• 1440p with fps limit on 120fps which is what my screen refresh rate is at
• Tweaked Nvidia Control Panel

You literally won't find it -- MO2 employs a VIRTUAL File System, meaning it puts all the mods' folders together like it's one big comprehensive game folder, while in reality it's all separate folders in GAMMA\mods
However, touching those is not how this is going to be fixed

Hi everyone, I’m having issues with two quests in the latest version of GAMMA:

Find Missing Duty Soldier – I received the mission, but there is no frequency listed in my PDA and no marker on the map. I tried cycling through all available RF Receiver frequencies manually, but no search circle ever appears.

Recover Sidorovich’s Shipment – I got the quest from Sidorovich, but again there is no marker on the map showing me where to search.

So basically I have both quests active in my PDA, but no map markers or guidance at all, which makes them impossible to progress.

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

Just got an interesting bug. So I have my main game which I've been playing that I got very far in. I decided I wanted to do a Monolith ironman run so i set it up but it crashes on the first loading screen. Not sure wtf is the problem there but after trying this a few times and it keeps crashing I launched the game and just selected to load the last save. I had assumed it would have put me back in my main game but instead I loaded into Pripyat as monolith with not just the inventory I selected to start with, but also my entire inventory from my main game.

is there a fix for the mouse sensitivity resetting ?
the slider goes from 0.011 to 0.021 in the menu, I cannot get it in between. so I typed in mouse_sens 0.015 in the console. it changes it to that, but as soon as I switch weapons or aim down the sight it resets to what it is set at in the menu.
EDIT : I have fixed the issue by disabling Kute's Free Zoom Rewrite. I can now type in my desired sens in the console and it stays

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)

3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS

Hey, I need some help. GAMMA was working fine until today. I deleted the original zip files from my downloads, and now whenever I try to launch it I get an error saying the instance doesn’t exist. In the launcher, the instance shows up, all the paths point correctly to my GAMMA and Anomaly folders, but when I try to switch or delete the instance it says “this action cannot be deleted.” Anomaly runs fine by itself, but I can’t get GAMMA to recognize the instance anymore. Has anyone dealt with this before or know a fix?

3. Close Mod Organizer 2
4. Open the GAMMA Launcher
5. (optional) Disable "force git download" and "force zip extraction". This will make it go quicker.

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.
If you are playing with MAGAZINE MODS:

1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Reload Weapon & Put PDA Away") and the Unjam command ("Reload weapon/Unjam Weapon/PDA away")
3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

• Make sure your outfit actually has a slot that fits the mag (hint: PPSh drum mag is Large, the starting Sunrise suit has no Large mag slots)

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

I get this !d3d error after every session. Rebooting between sessions resolves the immediate issue, only to have to reboot to play again. Can anyone tell me a more perm fix? I don't have any overlays that I know of), no Wallpaper engine either. I guess I could try DX9(?)

  206- Areas transition without confirmation (smoother gameflow) of the 202- Optional category.
• In case if you want to toggle transition willingly, download the archive attached to the message. Install it in MO2, pressing Ctrl + M, enable it. If you're experiencing crashes after updating G.A.M.M.A. from version 0.9.3.1 to 0.9.4, open MO2, locate and enable this mod:
Pre-0.9.4 Saves Fix, inside the Alternative Addons & Patches category.
If you don't have REDONE mods, this "fix" is only a temporary solution. Starting a new game is highly recommended.
If you have, keep this enabled, it is required for REDONE in GAMMA
