Did a fresh Gamma install and game crashes immediately after launch. I only see black screen for a few seconds. Any advise?
Windows Defender is turned off.
Both, Anomaly and Gamma folders are added as exceptions.
518 mods in Mod manager, none is marked with red cross

The save that i got the error message on was one that i made after i updated my gamma, and i turned on the fix to play on a save that was from before, if i run into any issues or crashes with the save ill let you know, again, cant thank you enough for the info

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Doing Mortal Sin questline and it keeps freezing, without possibility to close the game with task manager etc since the frozen game refuses to be minimized. I end up having to press "sign out" to force close all processes. Sometimes it does freeze and then crash straight to desktop without any error logs. Any idea what might cause this?

the ones that circle around you constantly? i've had them, and they seem to end up having a weird hitbox. get some distance and shoot them. it tends to be the stalker psyghost that gets stuck, if we're experience the same issue.

Hey guys I am having this weird issue with ADS. Sometimes even while still holding down right mouse button I wil unscope my rifle and then ads again. I have tested on other games as well with another mouse and this only happens in gamma? Any ideas what might cause the issue maybe conflicting binds?

It hasn't changed at all at all in about 18 hours. This is like the 20th time I've tried to reinstall. On previous attempts, I'd click cancel on this window, and it would continue installing until it got stalled on something else. All said, there are at least a half dozen spots where it gets stuck. This is the first one.

2. Close Mod Organizer 2

5. Click "Install / Update" and wait for it to finish completely.

I'm having problems with my stalker gamma, in my save I'm a bandit so every time I go to the army warehouses I pass by the truck graveyard.
Now I have a problem because when I try to go from the truck graveyard to the army warehouses my stalker updates infinitely and when I click (ALT + TAB) my game crashes.
When I create a new character as a member of freedom I can walk through the army warehouses normally, please help me.

I noticed something that looks like a bug. If I have 2 guns of the same type in my inventory with shitty parts and I disassemble the first, I get the shitty parts. If I disassemble the second gun with shitty parts, some parts turn into 100% parts.

Okay, I'm having the black screen issue, i have done everything in teh directions to fix it, and i i'm not sure where else to go with it. It seems to happen as soon as i pass a line in Jupiter. I can load anything below this line and see. I can even step over the line, and then step back, and I can see again. Does the game not want me there? I disabled the brain scorcher and all that stuff and was so excited to finally progress some quests in the game and as soon as i get deep enough in Jupiter, all black screen, yet still see UI. I hit a spot in Jupiter and I get a black screen that shows just my UI. I can cross the line (imaginary line) and go back, gaining and loosing sight. I tried the fixes for others who had this screen issue before, but it does nothing in my case. half the listed settings don't do shit in gamma because of how many mods are interacting with each other. MCM settings are more likely to take effect, but equally, certain unmarked MCM settings do shit like "cause crashes" or "bug out other options in the game". Anomaly settings menu settings are the worst for unintended results/no effects.

so like i said: try it out and see if it works

oh and of course there's some shit that just fully doesn't have an MCM setting, like the BAS NVG Scope Toggle that is hardcoded to the M key (that literally only upgraded binoculars use)

The explanation is, your version of gamma was old enough that it's missing key files that the latest launcher needs to work. So you have to re-download the GAMMA RC3.7z file, otherwise the GAMMA Launcher can not download the latest updates

I'm having an issue with my FPS, i recently reinstalled GAMMA and was playing last night with all base settings . This morning when I went to load up my game i cleared my temp and %temp% files and deleted my shader cache with the Anomaly launcher. I had great FPS yesterday and now my FPS is tanking super bad, I'm probably getting 10 frames consistently. I saved in Yaniv Station and even left to Zaton to check if it was just there, reloaded a earlier save in Rostok and still terrible. Anyone got some trouble shooting I can do?

you're not reading the contents of 500 mods to it using a virtual folder system across slower read speeds that are inherent to an external drive, that's why it's "fine" to play vanilla anomaly on an external and not fine to run GAMMA on an external.

people who play on external drives get a LOT more save instability, unexplained crashes, invisible file corruption, etc.

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

4. Wait for the install to end.

Hi so workbenches are removed now, and you have to right click tools to open the workbench. Is there no workbench in the game at all, or can you still get them? It's objectively worse this way, because you could store all of your items in the bench and not have to keep going back and forth to storage. Is there a work around or a new way intended for this patch? (last played about 1 year ago).

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.
If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Put away PDA or reload") and the Unjam command
3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

• Make sure your outfit actually has a slot that fits the mag (hint: PPSh drum mag is Large, the starting Sunrise suit has no Large mag slots)
