Quick question for anyone out there: When repairing or disassembling any armor or firearm, there is an animation delay for the action done? Is this supposed to work like that, because I do get the busy hands crash.

Can you make an additional mod which has controller support with button mappings for every action in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA Anomaly? I am usually a preferred keyboard and mouse user, but because of that, I wore out my left click on my mouse, which means I can't use it to play stalker anymore. It only works enough that I can do what I need to do in the menu. I have downloaded the reWASD app and I do not like it because it is kinda janky in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA Anomaly. I have tried to make strategic combo mappings to where I can perform a lot of actions while my sights are pulled up to help me mitigate running out of key mappings on my controller, but I have been unsuccessful in getting the desired results from it. If you could make a mod which would help us users whom want or need to use a controller, I would really appreciate it because this game is currently unplayable for me, even with reWASD. I love this mod and wish to play it more, but until I am able to afford a new mouse, I unfortunately have to find a way to use controller or just not play it.

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.
If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Put away PDA or reload") and the Unjam command
3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

• Make sure your outfit actually has a slot that fits the mag (hint: PPSh drum mag is Large, the starting Sunrise suit has no Large mag slots)

I have tried for like the past 11 hours trying to install This new stalker gamma and everytime I get to the part First install initialization part in the launcher when I'm trying to install Gamma, instead of cannot create portable instance error that should pop up so I can continue to install the game, A different error code pops up first and it is a long list of things on it. Letter on the lower right of the weapon corresponds to its cleaning kit (usable for gun parts 60% and up) and repair kit (able to replace parts outright through the workbench or outright spawn them into the gun by right clicking)
Voila
You don't even need tools if you just have good parts (60+%)
Just drag and drop onto the gun.
Only the barrel needs a repair kit to replace via any workbench (which are free in GAMMA)

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

i think one of the files in your localization mod got saved with a bad filename, redownload and reinstall it. you can test by disabling the ukr localization and seeing if the game runs

Got Gamma to work yesterday, but now everything is extremely dark, screenshot is of rookie village during the morning and I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be that dark. Interiors are nearly pitch black and when using a headlamp to see inside it just looks dark and extremely saturated.

Hi! Ive been playing gamma for a while now, and it was smooth sailing up until a bit ago. for some reason, when i swapped the aydins mod to spring, my game save was permanently lagged, and in order to fix this, i had to switch the launcher to dx9, reset all the graphics, ltx, and the shader cache, then swap back to direct x 11 enchanced and ENSURE that it was a fresh game save. this happens with aydins summer grass and spring, and I am using spring. I played smoothly after doing this, and logged off. I came back a few hours later to play, and the problem is arising again. I dont want to wipe my game save to fix this, as that seems to be the only way. I have a very powerful computer capable of running games like stalker 2 on max settings at native 4k, so clearly its some launcher issue, but I'm not sure. any help would be appreciated!
TL;DR: After swithing grass mods for aydins my game became unstable and laggy, the only way to fix it being making a fresh game save and swapping from dx11 to dx9 and back to dx11. I thought i fixed it but after logging back on a few hours later my game was laggy again.

okay I still have this one stupid issue. If I use DX11 I have the texture load limit error, and with DX9 I cannot load the game due to not having the scope shaders thanks to reshade not being able to load said effects. Disabling the mod fixes all crashing but makes the tree textures/lod break obscenely like my screenshot. I have no idea how to fix this

hiiiii, I got this error when trying to load up a new save. It gets pretty far into the loading process after making a character, and then crashes and displays this error. Only two "optional addons" enabled are Black Market (as ya can see in the error), and Trader Overhaul (Not sure if this causes conflicts with Black Market or not; I'd assume not though.)

@drifting island @tardy depot @blazing swan @cinder kettle I figured out the problem with the error message that Fernando and Legends Inc were experiencing. It has something to do with display driver resolution scaling and the driver profile set for app-specific settings in the driver. I fixed the problem by reinstalling my graphics driver. I didn't have to do anything to anomaly or GAMMA install files to get it working. All I did was reinstall my Nvidia graphics driver by doing a manual uninstall and then using Display Driver Uninstaller DDU, to clean everything out.

At first I thought a simple reboot would fix the issue, because I noticed the same thing Kewwa did with the GPU issue, but that didn't fix it. A reinstall of the drivers didn't work either. I think I caused this when I tried to enable Image Scaling in the Nvidia App. I wanted to oversample the resolution to from 2160p to 1080p and it looked like it worked at first but then I got the same exact bug as Fernando and Legends Inc.

It was the same exact one, where it gives ui_options error on line 262 when you click Settings in the Menu.

I hope its ok that I tagged you guys. I wasn't able to see that it ever came to a resolution.

It looks like it is an issue with the udp9 weapon model or texture. Probably need to reinstall that specific file, there is a similar fix for the mossberg here.

@Cosmic Manhunt To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

2. Install/Update the DirectX and Visual C++ libraries

3. Run the game on your preferred DirectX without AVX
