The RIGHT way of extracting the archive : Right click on the archive > 7zip > Extract files > Choose your [Gamma directory], REMOVE the check mark on this step, this is mandatory. At the end you should get downloads folder (NOT downloadsmm-dd)

4. Run GAMMA Launcher as Admin, disable the checkboxes:

• Check MD5
• Force git download

5. Click Install/Update GAMMA

How do I fix this. 518 mods active in MO2, I just installed Gamma, I use Anomaly 1.5.3. Installed to seperate, non system folders.
I tried to manually reinstall the mod using the launcher, it didn't fix the issue
I tried to Update/Install gamma from the launcher, with all options ticked, it didn't fix the issue

hey im just now downloading gamma and i did the the update in the launcher and all that and im met with this screen

I resloved the issue. The mods failed to extract properly as part of the installation process. I downloaded the mod manually, found the preexisting folders in the GAMMA\mods\423- Mossberg 590 Reanimation - SoulCrystal\ and extracted the contents of the downloaded archive inside this folder inside GAMMA.

Now the issue is resolved, however what troubles me is the uncertainty of how many other mods might seem installed, but be actually borked.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

i decided to reinstall gamma after finishing stalker 2 and when i got to the "install/update" part of the initial installation, the mods somehow downloaded SUUUUPER fast, im talking like in the span of 10-15 mins. now when i try to open the game, it crashes, i hear the error sound but nothing happens and no error window or nothing like that appears, what do i do?

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

I start MO2 via the Gamma Launcher, which always gets launched as admin. Or you mean the MO2 in the Gamma folder?

I do have a Windows Insider edition which means sometimes for cmd installers or modding tools, the whole filepath has to be put into the command file that runs the installer, or something like that. Maybe there is a file path I need to edit somewhere?

The first method refuses to feed any files because the google drive link has had that many users today, but the same files come through the bash prompt, so essentially the end goal is to replace 3 of the resource files and yes, I did all of that successfully.

I think I found a bug in the current version when using the magazines and following the instructions #╭📖faq message

In Rostok when fighting the stalkers in the arena, I am given the wrong spare magazines for the gun I'm provided. So to reload in those fights I have unload the magazine in inventory, eject mag from the gun, load those bullets into the correct mag, then put the mag back in. The spare magazines don't fit the provided gun. (Also noticed there's a medium helmet that goes to inventory instead of equipped, not sure if that's an issue).

This was not happening before the Gamma update that changed Magazines recently

for a fix simply download the mod manually and replace the files inside 423 after that copy gamedata inside the main folder and paste it on 423

that should leave main empty and you can just delete it afterwards

1. First close the GAMMA launcher.
2. Go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the following command:

4. Now close git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Okay, leaving this here for posterity: if your system has errors about github repository, and neither of V6 fixes help, you must INSTALL YOUR GAMMA ON A SEPARATE DUAL BOOT SYSTEM or UPDATE WINDOWS TO BOG STANDARD LATEST, then you run dubious ownership fix, if still you get errors like me, run V6 fix with github bash, where you must create a github account and reinstall the 3 resource files for installer through that.
-> your launcher should now be able to install it normally after an installer restart.

My issue was in the windows not being able to handle something about the installer code, my conclusion goes.

Thank you Flop! If possible, bring this information to the attention of folks who manage guides here, like the bot commands. I have now solved the custom windows system install issue.

FIX 1:

1. In MO2 using the search filter on the bottom left search for the mod: 423- Mossberg 590 Reanimation - SoulCrystal in the "G.A.M.M.A. Combat and Balance" tab
2. Right click on the mod -> Reinstall
3. For the install options, choose the ones below:

• Select Renderer: DX10 or below

• Scopes: BaS
• Modpacks: GAMMA

4. Click Install, Replace when it asks you to.

FIX 2: if right-clicking and reinstalling the mod gives you the prompt Installation file no longer exists, do the following:

2. In MO2 press CTRL + M (or go to File -> Install mod...) Find the file you downloaded and select it

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Hey guys, i just downloaded a profile which is suppose to help me pla with dx8 or dx9, and like in instructions it says that there should be 508 mods enabled by default, but the problem is there is none activated for me and if i choose to enable all there is 675 mods. When u extracted the mod u made a subfolder cause u didn't untick an option with 7z (see ur GAMMA folders) easiest thing to do:

• Go into the [SoulCrystal] Mossberg 590 folder and move everything in it into 423 -Mossberg 590 Reanimaton (the folder ur showing rn in this image) and overwrite if asked

And continue the steps from !590

Unzip and take gamedata folder and throw it into modpack_addons/423 mossberg 590 reanimation

Maybe there is another mods folder in the gamma? but i find only GAMMA/modpack_addons/423- Mossberg 590 Reanimation - SoulCrystal

@lament mauve When in game, go to Mod Configuration Menu -> ZCP -> Loot and disable Spawn old ammo

!dx // restart ur pc, see if it helps. If not, downgrade to dx9 its our only (relatively) reliable fix outside of an maybe? 50/50 one
