Not to mention this process is new, and isn't really clear. It's already in the folder it's supposed to be in, and on top of that it's not the latest version when downloading it from the "Grab the latest launcher here" link. That's an issue

I don't know what you mean by or why you're so hung up on "if you have to update to 6.7 it means its not 6.7" Obviously, like I have been telling you, RC3 contains 6.6.0.0. We have you download 6.7.0.0 and update the launcher manually.

Now I'm just entirely lost. I restored this and it still doesn't open, not gamma, and not anomaly.

I fully wiped my anomaly folder from existence and completely reinstalled it and that doesn't open. Legitimately cannot understand what's happening, already restarted pc too.

They are there because they are outdated, break GAMMA, break the game, or some combo of all three

Always best to ask before enabling any mods, though the general rule for stuff in the Disabled category is generally "don't turn it on"

When your FOV is too high you start to teleport through doorways,popping around objects, and mutants pop around you

It's probably the unstucker but it could also be the FOV, definitely try the unstucker disabled first. If it still happens then try the FOV lower.

I recommend using debug mode to enable God Mode so you can test this on mutants without dying.

I ended up just downloading the latest "downloadsmm-dd" and was installing/updating through the launcher. However i unticked "Check MD5" and "force git download".

Let me elaborate, it is not the 3DSS zoom itself, a sniper scope I had used to have cool features like light up reticle and an animated reticle when I zoomed, now it is gone. It is not the 3DSS issue listed earlier

So whenever I try to launch the base game Anomaly it gives me this error screen for two codes. "The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found. I finally got around to have another round of GAMMA with updates but even after a fresh install I can somehow only play once lol. With every clean reinstall I get 518 mods, checked launcher, proper 6.7, last two tries I've also tried doing few runs with install / update from launcher but same story every time. Once I close the game, I cant launch it anymore, anomaly launcher pops up, I press play and after few seconds it just goes away without any errors. I tried eyeballing log file in stalker gamma\anomaly\appdata\logs but it's riddled with some errors but can't pinpoint what would cause crash. Any help much appreciated

so this has been happening on my modded playtrhough, so in the interests of science i tried it on the base gamma installation (518 mods), new game, and it still keeps happening. updated gamma a few days ago so it should all be the latest versions of files

as the video shows, killing the zombie in house of horrors won't progress the task. in the video i'm using the ball tactic; i've tried just shooting it, i've hidden by the oven and let him run into the door (which has some geometry bug and explodes anyone who touches it)... nothing advances it to the next stage

looking through the discord i don't see anyone else with this problem, so it's something on my end... but i'm at my wit's end trying to resolve it. i do remember playing Itheons Task Addons before it was added to gamma, and there was the garbage witch quest that could bug out similarly (witch didn't vanish, and trying to loot the corpse would crash the game) and that was due to busyhands. but i'm pretty sure there's no busyhands here.

May crash your game, but worth a test.

Also, not sure if others have had this issue. Was getting a CTD, and based on logs it was when a few NPCs spawned in. I just noticed that THAP had a red X in MO, and when I went into the file it had no data. When I tried to reinstall the mod the mod file didn't exist. Seems THAP updated and GAMMA is installing v3.1, and not v3.2 so when the installer runs it ignores the download file. How can we get that fixed?

it should not, if you do precisely those things and don't go off script

to explain: you're manually downloading the mods manifest, which tells the launcher which links + versions + installation instructions it should use on the downloaded files

backing up your settings is because every time you click "Install / Update", the launcher resets all settings, repatches all game files, and deletes shader cache (very helpful for resetting broken installs)

running the launcher w/o force git download slightly speeds up the download while still checking your local copy against moddb files (useful since every mod you mention having a problem, comes from moddb not github)

and the finish completely thing is because i've been burned too many times by people whose install issues, it turns out, were caused by them closing the fucking launcher before it was finished
