the hud fov on my items is broken. are there any fixes? usually when this only happened when i used free zoom and using items would bug the hud fov like this but only for one use now it seems to be for every single one

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.
Default values are as follows:
FOV: 80
HUD FOV: 0.65

I got the same problem. I found out that it occurs when the mag feed mod is turned on. Unfortunately, haven't yet figured out how to fix it (except disabling this mod). Can't find the damn line of code that is responsible for this indicator

I got some bugged quests without marker and the questgivers act like i dont even have a quest and give me a new one of the same type
For example the recover sidorovichs shipment. Had it three times but only was able to complete the latest one. No marker for the older quests.

Sorry to bother again, i probably missed the response but does anyone else s have this issue that sometimes(i noticed its mainly after i close the game and reopen it) the sounds for the pc just dies. Like if im talking to someone on discord or listen to music and open the game all of my sounds dies. Also the only fix i found is to restart my pc.

Hmm, looks like your cpu can't handle the load. I had a similar problem when my cpu would overheat and start throttling. After replacing the thermal paste, everything was fine

hey guys, i have a disappearing stash issue.
i have 4 stashes in Rostok, one for weapons, another for components (this is the last stash i put down), another for mutant stuff and another for general stuff.
when i go down to Cordon and deliver Sidorovich's Supplies, from the mission "Recover Sidorovich's Shipment", my components stash disappears (i checked with noclip if the chest was just on top of the building, it isn't).
anything i could do to fix this behavior or am i just gonna have to ignore the delivery mission forever?

I can't disassemble anything. I had a crash which reset all of my settings somehow.
All of my equipment is 100 percent (multitool etc). If I hold ALT, it just batch disassemble. It used to say "Left Shift" but now it seems to have changed after a crash.
It's not the disassemble warning in MCM, that only effects when the tool is low durability, which mine is not. Any ideas? Thanks!

1.) Ensure 290 atmospherics are enabled, as well as screen space shaders
2.) Check ingame "simple visual settings" in Visual menu are right, i.e brightness/gamma/color are all set to 1, or whatever looks good
3.) Right click and reinstall SSS (not sure what the default options are, but they're elsewhere in discord) ensure enabled
4.) manually delete shader_cache

I was able to fix the issue, I turned on a UI mod that was already deprecated I think? It was the 'Better Status Bar" it's in the UI category. Then I reinstalled GAMMA and it fixed my issue. Hope this helps in your case.

Hello, new to Gamma and I just updated to 0.9.3.1 and I'm trying to load into my old save from 0.9.3 and I am getting and error when I try to go from inside the brain scorcher area to the outside area. Any Ideas? I've tried Re-updating the game to see if it missed a file/mod but that didn't seem to work.

yeah, this happens cos the rpk16_world.ogf model comes from a mod that breaks in DX9, but if you load a save that was originally started with the DX11 modlist, the game tries to spawn the model even if you later switch to the DX8/9 modlist

if you disable a mod that adds content to the game, that save will be screwed if you don't have that mod enabled

but the core issue here is that the GAMMA DX9 modpack disables the mod that provides the wpn_rpk16_world.ogf model, but because the save was created when that model was available, the game will keep trying to look for it -> crash

so yeah you're kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't, esp if using NVGs gives you the "DX10 whatever the fuck can't create device" error

I've tried following the !dest instructions 3 times now and I'm still getting the Dest string less than needed. once I get to the step of running gamma.
The step to launch Anomaly and quit at the main menu always works fine, and I get to 512 mods in MO2. For my 2nd attempt I deleted the GAMMA/mods folder so that MO2 had 0 mods when recreating the .ini in the "first install initialization" step.

I was trying to follow the !dest instructions because those are supposed to be the solution. But because I was getting the same error even after following them, I tried again twice to make sure I hadn't done something different.

I deleted the entire anomaly directory, used 7zip to unzip anomaly-1.5.3 into the folder again, opened and launched anomaly, closed at main menu, deleted the gamma/modorganizer.ini, launched .grok launcher as admin, reran "first installation initialization" to create a new modorganizer.ini pointing at the new anomaly folder, closed MO2, then did "install/update gamma", clicked play and tried to launch from MO2, and finally clicked "play stalker gamma" from the anomaly launcher.

Each time it's played a ding sound after the xray engine popup has been up for a bit, and if I check the anomaly logs it shows (see attachment).

The only clue I see in there is that my installation of both folders is in H:/ and the error there says it's trying to find file D:\a\xray-monolith\xray-monolith\src\xrCore\FS.cpp for some reason

that's not the problem at all, it's reading from compressed configs. What happens if you try to launch Anomaly directly out of the folder? Also I don't think you finished the Dest instructions because it's missing another folder that would be present, if you ran the GAMMA Launcher to patch the install

short version: as far as we can tell, the dest error is related to a corrupted settings file, or more often, corrupt Anomaly localization/some other config (unclear which, also unclear if there are multiple causes of dest errors)

The problem is that the 100% completely reliable fix for the dest error is "reinstall Anomaly totally from scratch". Nothing else.

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.
Default values are as follows:
FOV: 80
HUD FOV: 0.65

you can always yolo it, skip the file, and pray that the installer gets all of teh mods. the downside is that you likely have to click 'Install / Update' and let it completely finish, a few times before you get #📍577-mods-in-mo2

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

• Check MD5
• Force git download

6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

ive searched the zone for ages only to find one piece of armor that is repairable and that is the looted seva. Outfits will say medium but when I use a medium kit, I don't see my armor. Anyone else get this?

One sugestion I can try to give is:Try to press M2 on the armor in inventory/equiped and mantain/replace parts

For me it worked, all the armors atm, hope that this helps
